Interior Seating

Unfortunately, this was a very frustrating experience from start to finish. We were told the wait would be about 10 minutes and were actually called after roughly 5 minutes. However, because our driver was about two minutes away, they refused to seat us. Shortly after, a party of 17 arrived and we were told we would need to wait behind them which made no sense, as there was an open table that could have accommodated our party of four, and no setup that would have fit a group of 17. That large party ultimately canceled after about 20 minutes, at which point we were finally seated. Once seated, we waited about 10 minutes before anyone came to take our order, and then another 20 minutes just to receive our coffees. During that time, a glass bottle was dropped nearby and a shard of glass hit me in the back, which was unsettling. My orange juice didn't arrive until I asked again and it came with my meal came out roughly 35 minutes later. As for the food, the fries were cold and the Wagyu burger was undercooked and also cold. The salad was fine, and the coffee itself was good, but those positives didn't make up for the overall experience. Between the disorganized seating, long delays, and lack of attentiveness, the service was extremely poor. I wouldn't return.

Food 4.5/5 Service 3.75/5 Ambiance 4/5 be careful, outside as it can get warm I really liked this place. The food was so good my husband and I ordered the same breakfast at least 3x during our stay. The menu is limited but items offered encompass a selection of breakfast, brunch and lunch items. I wished they had oatmeal and was surprised it's not offered. The service was good, but the place was busy. One server was very accommodating when we moved our seats WC to get out of the direct sunlight. We decided thereafter to eat inside so not to experience the sneaky heat while dining. I would definitely recommend.

Excellent spot for breakfast with indoor and outdoor dining. I had the Croque Madame, which was HUGE and delicious. TIP: Most entrees can easily be shared, and the Marilyn Monroe statue is just a block away.

It was relatively hot sitting inside since their door was open to the patio and insects kept flying around which was annoying. The food wasn't bad, the JT breakfast for $22 was good with two eggs, protein, carb and potatoes. The French toast were fluffy and the berries were decent. The skirt steak wasn't too cooked well and had delicious fries.

First time here and the place is very Ute and has great seating outside were you can just sit and people watch. They had a good menu for breakfast/brunch. I had the grapefruit juice which was cold pressed and was suprised it came in a bottle. It wasn't even opened for me when served which was a bit off. The breakfast I had with the eggs and bacon was good but the French toast was too sweet for me. I wasn't a big fan of the sauce. I would probably have tried it on the side to get a better taste of the toast. Maybe next time. This places is centered in downtown Palm Springs in the Rowan and is very convenient. Worth the try.

* Price: $20 plus per person for breakfast/ brunch. 4 stars. * Ambiance: nice, cozy restaurant with indoor/out door dining. 4 stars. * Location: inside of the Kimpton Rowan hotel but you can enter through the outdoor patio dining area. Street parking near-by. Street view, mountain view, view of the Voss Andreas stainless steal sculpture. 5 stars. * Meals: good brunch menu with decent portion. Everything is well cooked. 4 stars. * Service: pleasant. However, they seemed to be shorthanded. There was only one or two servers working (on the new year weekend). Food comes at good pace though. 4 stars. This place has been on my bookmarked list for awhile. We decided to check out for brunch. The waitress also hostess seated us and number tag for our table. Order is taken at the table (no longer pre-order at the counter as mentioned by other reviews). Meals: - breakfast tostada ($21): 2 sunnyside-up eggs, chorizo, avocado and tomato sauce, slided fresh avocado and pico de gallo (salsa) added fresh flavor of cilantro and lime juice. The 2 large tortillas are crispy but not hard. Very good dish. - french toasts with blackberry ($20): brioche bread is very fluffy and airy with dusted sugar and blackberry sauce and fresh blackberry, not too sweet. The french toast here is better than FARM'S one. Final verdict: nice place for breakfast/ brunch. Simple modern American menu. Good place for people watch.

Place is under renovation in late January when I visited but can be found in the downstairs bar lobby. This has always been my go-to spot when I'm in town. The service was iffy this time around because the server was new so I had to give him a hall pass. But the food overshadowed him anyways. Can't go wrong with the breakfast tostada - I love crunchy things. I would rethink the BLTAA because there's so much sandwich that it's difficult to bite into. Other than that I hope the renovation turns out cool. I would still come back to this place.

BlackBerry French toast is pretty good, my fiancé got the avocado toast and it was okay. Service was good and great ambiance! I would recommend the French toast.

Cute patio with lots of room. Tucked back behind the Starbucks so don't pass it by

We have walked past this place for years; why we never stopped to try it until now I have no idea. The place is so clean and the patio is cozy with comfy tables and chairs and lots of shade. Our server was very kind and attentive to any questions we had regarding the menu. Food was fresh and different enough to make it interesting. Gluten free bread made me so happy! My husband got an Americano on our way out and said it was really good. We will definitely eat here next time we come out this way.

Cutest signage and I LOVE to see people interact with it right outside their patio!

A little delay but thank you Destiny, and Brian for my coffee! Welcome to the team! Amazing staff! My favorite place for coffee in Palm Springs! Just love Junec. He's ON IT.

This is what discrimination looks like.

Serves free discrimination with their food! We are hotel guests and receive 50$ for eating breakfast at this restaurant. We are a party of 2 and were lining up for breakast. It was really busy and I dont mind the wait. When it was our turn, given we waited about 15 minutes already, we got turned away and was told to come back as they added us in a "list." I was like, okay, this happens in busy restaurants. Bald manager told us to come back 20-25 minutes. I told them we are hotel guests and he said to come back 10-15minutes (notice how he changed his initial estimate time.) Not 20 seconds later when we walked away and still within sight, the same manager sat a party of two who was behind us! There was a visible open table not 3 feet away from the podium. It was free and clean and impossible to miss. The manager sat the two people behind us in this spot by the door in view of other people. Perhaps he doesnt want the brown and yellow ones to sit by the door? I guess our skin color and age dont match the athleisure geriatric vibe of the restaurant or he thinks we are young and can be turned away while he seats his priority; the "typical guests" behind us. This is discrimination. What makes the party of 2 behind us better than us who waited in line first? When we came back 15 minutes later, everyone behind us got seated, we were the only ones who was turned away and my name was the only one on the so called list that only applies to those who have a certain skin tone/age range. We still had to wait because no other server knows there was a "list" so they were seating people ahead of us and that this manager magically came up with this list to shoo "certain" people away. When we were seated and it was super busy, the manager sent the servers to check on us almost 7 times, more than any other table. The manager knew he messed up. I never liked confrontation and never said anything. We ordered and paid, but the situation hurt me and did not sit right with me even after hours of thinking of the what ifs and giving the situation a benefit of a doubt. Maybe it was the way we dressed? We were wearing jeans and a shirt. There were people in a tank top and shorts eating inside. What happened was awful and needs to be addressed. I complained to the hotel and got a, "we will comp the meal, try them again tomorrow since you are hotel guests." I said no thanks. I dont want upset food servers serving my food. While the hotel did something, this situation should not have happened in the first place.

Juniper Table Breakfast fruit subbed for eggs

Great little cafe inside the Kimpton Rowan hotel. They have hot and grab and go options. Staff is friendly and accommodating. Seating both inside or on their gorgeous patio. Breakfast and lunch options. Even vegan sausage as a plant base sub. Ate here two days in a row and ordered the Juniper Table breakfast subbing fruit for the eggs. They have plenty of coffee and teas. No organic teas though. Only wishing they had more plant based food. Nice option if you're in the neighborhood.

The Juniper is just off the lobby of the Kimpton Rowan and also accessible by its own doors just off Tahquitz, behind Starbucks. My buddy and I stopped in to have lunch while attending a fundraiser for Animal Samaritan's in the lobby of the Kimpton. We both had the Italian sandwich which on the menu seems to be the prosciutto sandwich. The sandwich was certainly tasted fresh and the hot fries was an added bonus! At one point I finally had to request the plate be removed because I was totally full and only eating the fries because they were in front of me. The whole lunch - so damn good. The restaurant is clean. It was clear some patrons were staying at the hotel, coming in to purchase cold drinks from the cold box and snacks to take back to their room. I noticed the staff was quick to clear and sanitize tables for the next guests. After ordering at the counter you have your choice of indoor dining or taking a seat outsides that offers plenty of people watching at the corner of Tahquitz and Palm Canyon. The staff is very helpful and friendly. They even brought our dogs water bowls. This would be a great spot to stop to get food before heading to the concerts in the park or just in the mood to people watch. I'll definitely be back!

The timing worked out perfectly, and we were able to sit down and order without any wait. The food ended up being absolutely delicious. Despite the restaurant getting busy shortly after we arrived, the service remained outstanding throughout the entire experience. Overall, it was a great find, with excellent food and attentive service, especially considering how busy they got.

Yeah, Greece just hits different Well, call me Lucky because I HAVE been to Greece and I can honestly tell you from my own personal experience... It. Was. Nothing. But. Pure. Magic. Yeah, April 2017 we did Athens and Santorini, but don't you worry, I intentionally left a small piece of my heart just so I can return again one day to get it back! So those of you have haven't been to Greece, do not even fret. Please just promise me, no better yet, promise yourself, that you will at least look into it. Until then... If you just happen to come across an authentic Greek restaurant, Greek Festival or even just Greek Street Food on the street in your own hometown... I encourage you to experience why their food, their culture and their people are the real deal. ----------------------- While visiting Palm Springs in October 2025, while going in and out of the various shops on N. Palm Canyon Drive, it was approaching lunch time and there it was... Santorini Gyro I looked at my wife. She looked at me. And without even saying a word, we knew exactly what the plan was and trust; asking the kids if they were ok with us eating there was not a part of the plan. From the outside to walking inside... We were immediately transported back to Santorini all while still be in the middle of a desert. The Blue and white decor. The Blue mood lighting. The table lamps. The menu with all of the Greek Classics. We felt like we were back in 2017, but this time, we had 3 extra travel companions... Our 3 beautiful girls. So now it was our chance to have them experience the Food that we fell in love nearly 8 years ago... Their choice.... Drum roll please....... The Chicken Tenders & Fries with Ketchup!! Haha These kids need to get out more! Lol My wife and I split the Gyro Plate (option of Chicken or Lamb) which comes with a Greek Salad, warm Pita bread, Tzatziki & Hummus. I added a bowl of Red Lentil Soup (Ezo Gelin) served with warm pita and it made both my stomach and my face smile with pure joy! Of course, this wouldn't be a true nod to being back in Greece without a Greek beer which was served alongside a frosted, ice cold, glass. The food, the service, the ambiance... Heck, if I was blindfolded, taken to Santorini Gyro and then my blindfold was removed, I would honestly think that I was back in the motherland to reclaim my heart. Thankfully, it was just an authentic Greek restaurant in the heart of Palm Springs that serves up delicious food and pays homage to the people of Greece. Until then, Mark my words... My family and I WILL return one day to Greece!!!

We arrived 15 minutes early and decided to have a cocktail in bar while waiting for table. We were told they were running 5-10 minutes behind but the Maitre D came to seat us before our cocktails were even ordered. lol We were sat on the fabulous patio with a gorgeous view of the scene. Good people watching if that's your thing. The first white jacketed back waiter took our water order and brought warm baguette with butter. For cocktails we had absolutely perfect gimlets on the rocks. Not too sweet or tart. Just right. Then another brought us an appetizer as a mea culpa for running late! ( They never were!) It was a wonderful cauliflower soup. Our main waiter came by to introduce himself, Jonathon( excellent, request him!) and explain the menu which was handwritten on white board. Love that! We ordered filet tartare, lobster ravioli and sea bass. They were all perfectly prepared and delicious. For dessert we devoured the chocolate soufflé. Don't skip on a chocolate soufflé! They are a rare commodity in dining these days. Other reviews noted high prices. I live in a big city where the prices are comparable if not higher.
