Was at the Firestone across the street at 11 when I noticed a line at Jus Poke. Line didn't give while waiting for my car service. +1 and I decided to give Jus Poke a go and we joined the line around 1:30pm on a Saturday. The line went by pretty quick at around 15 minutes until we got to order. Music was a little loud one you get to the door and when you are inside. Menu is small but the food items are solid. The bowl is half the size of the large with one scoop of rice instead of 2. We opted for white rice instead of brown and for sides, they have edamame, pickles and seaweed salad. Their fish option seemed to be mostly tuna and different sauces mixed in. I was able to try the spicy; fish was good. Flavor was great, not too spicy and fish texture was good. My only quip was that I wish that I had more rice because everything had a lot of flavor. Jus' Poke is a great food option if ever in the area!
Pretty long line but it moves quickly since the ordering system is pretty efficient. The food is definitely worth the wait, everything was so fresh and flavorful! We got the shoyu and the sweet heat and both were so good. Pretty good portion size. This quickly became one of my favorite poke spots! However parking and seating is limited and can be hard to find. Will definitely be back when we're in the area!
There are few places I'm happy to wait 45 minutes for, and this is absolutely one of them. Service is fast - and they have to be, as demand for this place is literally out the door and wrapped around the parking lot. They give large servings for a reasonable price, and the fish was out of this world tender.
I visited Ju's Poke on an early Sunday evening with my friend. We opted for street parking across the building. There was a line that took about 15 mins. I got a regular bowl with their shoyu & spicy poke & brown rice as my base. I also added on seaweed salad, spicy edamame, & pickled cucumbers. We both enjoyed our bowls & would visit again!
Had a pretty long line one Sunday evening but I kinda get it considering how good the meal was. I ended up ordering a large serving with Shoyu and Spicy Shoyu and wow were the servings filling! Almost like I ordered a large or something...I had it with edamame and seaweed salad on the side, with rice being a complementary side as well. The food is as good as Poke could possibly get, so I would definitely come back if I were in the area. The interior is pretty small with some seating along the wall and with around 2-3 tables outside. While I was able to find parking at the connected parking lot, I can see why it'd be a challenge as the parking lot is really small. But there is a neighborhood right next to it and a parking lot across the street so it's no worries on that end. Minimal interaction with staff but they seemed cool.
Very long line out the door but it is very much worth the wait! Very fresh/authentic poke and quite a few flavors to decide on, all are good options. All of their sides are great as well - I love the spicy cucumber & seaweed salad. grab a plate of poke & head on over to the beach which is right around the corner!
Food: My husband and I both ordered poke bowls with a mix of Hawaiian and spicy poke, along with shoyu and California roll poke. Everything tasted incredibly fresh right away, with clean flavors and a great balance of umami, savory richness, and just the right amount of spice. Each component complemented the others well, and nothing felt overly heavy or overpowering. It's easy to see why people say this is one of the most authentic poke spots in the area, the simplicity and quality really shine through. That said, personal preference-wise, I still find myself leaning toward Poke Express in Las Vegas (though to be fair, I've never been to Hawaii, so that might change one day). Price: Pricing is pretty standard for quality poke in Southern California. A regular bowl (about 1/3 lb of fish with rice and a side) typically runs around $15-17, while larger bowls can range from about $19-24 depending on portion size. Overall, expect to spend around $15-25 per person, which feels fair given the freshness and portion sizes. Ambiance: This is very much a grab‑and‑go style spot rather than a sit-down restaurant. It's located right along the street and almost always has a long line of people waiting, which tells you a lot about its popularity. Inside, there's a small bar area with a handful of high chairs, and a couple of tables outside, but seating overall is pretty limited. Not really a place to linger, more for a quick, casual bite. Service: Despite how busy it constantly is, service is efficient and straightforward. The staff keeps things moving quickly and stays organized, so even with a line, the wait doesn't feel too bad. No frills, but solid and dependable. Parking: There's a small side parking lot that can fit maybe around 10 cars, which fills up quickly during peak hours. Otherwise, you'll likely have to find street parking nearby and walk over. Not impossible, but it does take a little extra effort, especially when it's busy.
Came to check out Jus' Poke on a Sunday around Noon and there was no line. It's located on the Main Street so you can clearly see thspot it or the long line while driving by (when it's super busy) Went with the simple double tuna and it was seasoned pretty good. Price is high but that's standard for anything seafood, but worth it. Didn't stay to eat there, as the seating located outside was all taken. The past three times it gets busy so we just take our meals to go and eat at the beach. *Not many parking spots available for plan accordingly
The most popular poke place around! There was a long line around 1pm on a Saturday. I came back around 5:30 pm and did not have to wait, but saw that the dinnertime line was beginning to form! Good luck with parking, you either get lucky in their small lot or street parking. If you want to risk it, there's a petco next store. I was really surprised with the prices here. For $14, you get a decently large platter of fish, rice, and sides. Since I was taking it to-go, I opted to just get poke by the pound, which was also good value! I got 1 pound of the shoyu tuna and enjoyed how fresh the fish was. The taste was pretty delicious. It makes me want to try other flavors some day!
There's always a line at this poke spot, so I had to check it out. Even though the line was long, it moved pretty fast. Tables/seats are limited. We got their shoyu and spicy poke, which were tasty and fresh. Priced fairly well considering the amount of food they give to! The only complaint would be the rice was all meshed together, which didn't sit too well.
Popular poke spot but they only have tuna so this might not be the best choice for everyone. There's a small parking lot out front and there's minimal seating inside the actual restaurant. There was a bit of a line when I went on a Saturday afternoon but it moved pretty quick I ordered the large bc I wanted to try two different flavors but later realized I could've gotten a regular and still been able to try two different sauces. Next time, I would def plan on getting a regular since the large was way too much For flavors, I liked both the Hawaiian and spicy a lot. The shoyu was just ok. I like that they have spicy cucumber salad too but I do wish it had more of a kick
We waited around 20 minutes to order at this hyped up poke shop. We both ordered the option which allowed you to pick two kinds of fish with rice and two sides. We were able to try four different kinds of poke since we spread out our options among the two plates to try as many as we could. For our sides, we got the cucumber salad and seaweed salad. The fish was definitely fresh and the rice was steaming hot too. However, I personally didn't see anything extremely special about the poke here. The shoyu poke especially was way too salty. The spicy poke was as well. The one with mayo on it was less so. The rice was fresh but also a little bit mushy. The seaweed salad was a little bit too sweet for me and the cucumbers also had a bit of sweetness and acidity rather than savoriness which is what I prefer. The portions were generous and definitely high-quality ingredients. However, this might just not be for me - not the best poke or worst I've ever had. There were plentiful seats inside and outside, so that was definitely a plus. The interior was clean and well organized as well. I'd recommend giving this place a try, but it's not my personal favorite. Fresh fish but the flavors just weren't my cup of tea.
Love coming here! Smaller parking lot so you just have to get lucky. It's really busy so sometimes 30+ minute wait to order. Ordering is pretty quick. I think we all heard of and came here cause of the viral TikToks and reels but I really don't think this place was that good! Maybe something was wrong with my scoops but the poke was like straight up cold and had a hard chew to it. We did go right when they opened but still didn't really expect that? It's just whatever but it is pricey so just keep that in mind. The workers also didn't seem super polite, and kind of like they were just over their jobs after they blew up online. read more

Best poke on the mainland bar none. Celebrated my birthday lunch over there and it did not disappoint. Portions are great. Freshness of the fish and the flavor was so good I finished my large order. And I mean it was a lot on that plate!!! The staff was nice and the place was clean. read more

We have been to this poke place for a year now. They give you generous portions with affordable prices ($12-14 per bowl with 2 sides, brown or white rice, and half half 2 different pokes). The pokes we go to is: traditional, shoyu, California roll, and spicy. The sides are pickled cucumbers, seaweed salad, regular edamame and spicy edamame. All of them are very tasty. We stay away from the wasabi poke as it can get too spicy from times. Staff is super friendly and they have a small outdoor area with 3-4 tables, but usually we just have them to go. What makes this place most appealing is it has reward system. You earn 1 point with every $ spent. So my points can give me a free bowl of poke from time to time. Highly recommend! read more

Huge portions & delicious poke! We saw this spot on Yelp while heading to the beach & we're so glad that we stopped by. The large size was enough to share & we were full afterwards. The workers were generous with the scoops (literally shoveled the seaweed salad & pressed the poke in there!) and although there was a line, it moved very quickly. Their original poke tasted fresh, light, & refreshing, pickled cucumbers were lightly pickled and crunchy, and the seaweed salad was perfectly seasoned. The parking lot was small, but there were also some spots in the residential area behind the shop. There were a few shady tables outside as well so we enjoyed our meal with our pup. This spot is hands down the best poke i've ever had. Not only in LA, but overall. I've been to hawaii multiple times and have had their poke multiple times, and jus poke has them beat. The food is just truly mouth watering. I live in the valley and it's always a long drive (1.5 Hours) and that still doesn't stop me from making that drive. The food is worth it truly. Drove 40 mins out of my way and waited 30 mins in line for this poke. I live in the San Gabriel Valley and we have no good Hawaiian style poke that matches value like this place. 15-16$ for a regular plate that includes two sides. I got the edamame and cucumbers which were refreshing. For poke I got spicy and Hawaiian. Flavor wise everything was good. Would drive out of my way and stand in line again for this. read more

I've finally found my California poke spot! Being born and raised in Hawai'i, poke was one of the few things I missed the most about home. California style poke doesn't really hit the same for me and I'm more of a purist when it comes to toppings. I appreciate a good bowl of poke and rice. Often times, the sauces are usually drizzled on or the poke chunks are small or even mashed. I was overjoyed when I finally found a place with authentic poke that hits close to home. I ordered take out this time because I was trying to satisfy my craving but I was overjoyed with the freshness, quality, and portion sizes. I got the spicy tuna and sweet heat poke and was not disappointed. A good amount of heat, lots of flavor, and a generous amount of ogo and sweet onions! They also provided a lot of wonton chips which was also a win! I definitely will be coming back in person to dine in and sample more of their other flavors. Jus' Poke is my favorite poke place! I usually get the regular size California poke and the soy sauce flavor poke, and both are always fresh and delicious. I especially love their pickled cucumbers and edamame--they add the perfect touch. The staff are always friendly, and the atmosphere is great. I also really enjoy the small, cozy outside tables--it makes the experience even better. Highly recommend! I wish they sell more spam musubi! read more

Best Poke in the area! I come here time to time because this place is amazing. They have a small parking lot but i park on the street, it's much easier. The restaurant is small and they have seatings outside. Today, Monday during lunch time, there wasnt a huge lunch crowd so I was lucky. This place gets packed. I got the regular size with white rice, cucumber, seaweed, spicy tuna, and shoyu tuna. Now with inflation and cost of everything going up, $12.50 for a regular is very good price. The portion size is big as well. The staffs are very friendly and they accept wireless payments. I love the Hawaii theme inside and outside. I think they only carry tuna and no salmon? I would like to see them carry other types of seafood as well. And I forgot to grab some spam musubi until the guy behind ordered one during check out. read more
Ok, I thought the last place we tried was the best poke ever, but so far Jus' Poke tops them all, and what a value! We were super hungry after a big workout so we got the large bowl ($17.50), which comes with 2 choices of poke, 2 huge scoops of either white or brown rice, and 2 sides (I got the cucumbers and the seaweed salad). I weigh about 205 lbs. and I couldn't finish it. It was so good, so fresh, and it came out super fast. Partly because there are minimal choices (5 poke choices and all are a tuna base), so it keeps things very simple, but also partly because their staff is on top of it and can crank out a lot of these in a short amount of time. My poke was the spicy Poke and the California roll poke. Just FRESH! Everything from the vegetables and spices, even the avocado in the California roll poke felt like it had just been cut. It is a different style, so if you are used to pointing at one of 14 ingredients like a Subway to dressing up your poke that way, this is not your place. But, if you want fresh, huge portions of fresh protein from the sea, the crispiest cucumbers ever, and fluffiest rice you can find, come out to Jus Poke and enjoy a great deal in an area that you wouldn't expect reasonable prices (a beach city). read more
Fish is very fresh and portions are large. Very similar to the poke you would get in Hawaii! My favorites are the spicy poke and shoyu. I really like the sides such as the cucumbers. Usually a long line but the staff is efficient! There are a few outside tables to eat but they can be hard to get. read more

Glad we didn't have to wait in line for this yummy poke spot, although it started to form behind us and it's no wonder why. The poke is really good! Food Poke bowl with shoyu and California roll. Get the shoyu. It's perfectly seasoned and the tuna is tender, reminds me of the poke in Hawaii. I got edamame, seaweed salad as sides without rice. The seaweed salad was nice and sweet. The pickled cucumbers are quite tasty as well. The original tuna was good but shoyu is best imo. They have a parking lot and have outdoor seating with a few tables outside. They have sentimental photographs dedicated to their grandfather and it seems like it's a family business! read more

Been coming to Jus' Poke for years now and never disappoints! It's one of the only places around the area that has poke similar to the ones found in Hawaii. It's pre-marinated which tastes so much better than the "build your own bowl" poke places. Seems like their quality of fish went up. It used to be stringy, but lately their fish has been tender. It always tastes fresh. I got the large plate, which comes with 2 mounds of rice, sides, and choice of poke. I got the brown rice with the Spicy and Shoyu poke. It definitely had a kick to it but was soo good. For my sides, I got the cucumbers and the seaweed salad. It was so tasty! The place is pretty small and has a few outside tables, so I recommend taking it to-go. There is a small parking lot, but if it is full, there is free street parking available. Pro tip: take it to-go and eat it at the beach! read more

This place was somewhere we always wanted to check out and I'm glad we did! The staff were friendly and welcoming. The place was very clean and had couple seatings inside as well as outside. Although my last review was 7 years ago, not much has changed except new poke flavors here and there. Still the best poke is town/SoCal. Service and staff are all amazing and friendly and you get the total local Hawaiin vibes as if you were in Hawaii. Quality of food is always fresh and if they run out for the day (spam musubi) that's it. Better go before noon if you want one. lol. Early bird gets the worm. You know it's good when there is ALWAYS a line out the door during lunch and dinner. If you are in the Southbay and LOVE poke, you have to stop by and give it a try. read more

The poke at this place was super good. You can tell the poke is fresh. The poke is also very flavorful. We got 4 different flavors of poke and the flavors were very different and distinct from one another. They give large servings. Great deal for the price and amount of food they give. Had to wait in line outside but it's a small place and there were only a small amount of people working. We would definitely come here again. read more

OMG!! Heaven!! I recently moved to Hermosa. I've loved poke for a long time, but seems like I've had to make a drive for decent poke. I'm so lucky, I live less than a mile away from the BEST poke ever!! Lots of different options, all fresh and delicious . Service is fast, everyone working together, and a good vibe. Portions are good size and a fair price. This is a MUST if you like poke at all. read more

Is any of the poke gluten, dairy, and egg free?
Hi J.L. Our original and spicy poke are gluten free. All of our Mayo based poke do have egg whites in them. We have no dairy in any of our products. Mahalo!

All we serve here is Ahi tuna and it is premixed and marinated. We hope to see you soon!
How is the store operating during COVID?
No inside seating, contactless payment, customers stand 6 ft away from each other while waiting in line. Last time I was there, outdoor seating was not available. Everyone wears masks and hand sanitizer is available for customers.
