Jus Poke is easily my go-to poke spot whenever I'm in the area! The poke is always so fresh, the portions are super filling, and everything is absolutely delicious. By far one of my favorite poke spots! My small plate ($13.75) was half shoyu and half spicy tuna with white rice, seaweed salad, and pickled cucumbers. The large plate ($19.25) was half original and half spicy tuna with brown rice, seaweed salad, and spicy edamame. Everything was so flavorful and fresh! Definitely a must-try if you're in Redondo Beach. I'll 100% be coming back!
Jus' Poke was a good spot for craving something fresh, simple, and satisfying. Even on a night right before closing, the line was packed, and it took about 30 minutes before we got to the front to order. I tried their original and shoyu poke. While the original poke was still on the frozen/dethawing side, it was well-seasoned and was tasty. The shoyu had a nice savory, slightly salty flavor that went well with the rice and furikake. The edamame and seaweed salad were also great sides as a part of the meal. This is a spot that I'd love to try again!
Really good! One of the best poke shops I've been to. Hawaiian style poke with GREAT portions for the price. Fish is fresh and sauced really well. Worth the hype.
Truly some of the best poke I've had. The ahi texture is the perfect bouncy-but-firm, not sinewy or mushy at all. Seasoned perfectly. I got it twice in one week. I tried the Hawaiian, Spicy, Original, Shoyu, and Wasabi. My first time, I got the Hawaiian and Spicy poke with spicy edamame and spicy cucumbers. I went too fast and totally didn't realize I ordered all spicy. My mouth was totally on fire and we got ice cream after. The regular comes in a half bento box and the large is a full square bento box. Note they only do ahi and no salmon or other fish. Regular is absolutely enough for one meal. The staff was very friendly when I told them it was my first time. You get brown or white rice, two choices of poke, and two choices of sides. I think my perfect order is Original and Spicy with spicy cucumber and seaweed salad. With furikake!
Jus' Poke is a very popular spot in Redondo Beach for a reason! The fish was very fresh and good quality. I got the California Roll Poke, and although it was good, it didn't WOW me but I think I hyped myself up from all these other reviews. I might still be biased towards Ry's Poke Shack. Sides were additional $3 each. This place is the first I've seen to offer picked cucumbers as a side! There was a line out the door for a Tuesday evening but it moved pretty quickly. Parking lot is very small. And mostly outside seating.
Jus' Poke is a South Bay favorite and an absolute must when in the area. The line is almost always out the door and parking is very limited, so I'd recommend snagging street parking down the road if a spot is open. The space is modest and fits fewer than 10 indoor diners, so plan on this being a to-go run. Ordering is straightforward: pick a size, white or brown rice, two sides, and a protein. The spicy tuna was tender, fresh, and easily comparable to what you'd find in Hawaii. They also offer a nice variety of soft drinks and reasonably priced merch. The only minor drawback was the takeout container--it isn't very moisture-resistant and started leaking about 10 minutes into our drive. But even with the wait and the messy box, I'll definitely be back next time I'm in the area P.S. Be warned--their spicy edamame is no joke!
Always a must stop when going to redondo beach. The fish is so fresh and you can't beat the quality and quantity for the price. The flavors are super bold and the portions are big, a regular was able to fill 2 of us! There is typically a line and there was seating inside and outside, it's limited but most people seem to takeout so not hard to get a spot. As for the fish, you can't really go wrong with what you pick! The California was creamy and fresh and the shoyu had a nice strong but not overpowering flavors. Seaweed salad and cucumbers are a must but cucumbers a bit spicy.
Wondering what kind of food Jus' Poke sells? Well, it's basically just poke, and for what it is, they do it right. The best, most authentic poke places are always holes in the wall. This shop is basically a one-stop, one-way walk through shack that can only seat no more than 10 people at a time at a bar counter. The parking lot can hold no more than 10-15 cars at a time. The seating is sparse with only three tables outside. The line was long when we came at 12. The line was even longer walking away at 2. Talk about exclusivity. A medium bowl comes with two sides and two choices of fish. I got the Sweet Heat and the Local's Wasabi flavor. The wasabi was strong, packing a punch with every other bite. It was always unexpected, so make sure you enjoy the surprise and sensation of wasabi if you do try it. Sweet Heat was more accessible, not too spicy, great flavors. And of course I have to highlight the cucumbers! I love how each piece is cut slightly differently, almost unwieldy. Gives great texture and a rustic, homemade feel. Jus' Poke is a classic RB favorite, and I've been a fan for years. I just can't believe that it's continuing to grow in popularity after all this time.
Our go-to spot for poke! We love the quality of tuna here, it is always fresh and so flavorful. The line can be quite long at times but service does go by quickly. They have a dog friendly outdoor seating area which is a big plus for us.
Was at the Firestone across the street at 11 when I noticed a line at Jus Poke. Line didn't give while waiting for my car service. +1 and I decided to give Jus Poke a go and we joined the line around 1:30pm on a Saturday. The line went by pretty quick at around 15 minutes until we got to order. Music was a little loud one you get to the door and when you are inside. Menu is small but the food items are solid. The bowl is half the size of the large with one scoop of rice instead of 2. We opted for white rice instead of brown and for sides, they have edamame, pickles and seaweed salad. Their fish option seemed to be mostly tuna and different sauces mixed in. I was able to try the spicy; fish was good. Flavor was great, not too spicy and fish texture was good. My only quip was that I wish that I had more rice because everything had a lot of flavor. Jus' Poke is a great food option if ever in the area!

Pretty long line but it moves quickly since the ordering system is pretty efficient. The food is definitely worth the wait, everything was so fresh and flavorful! We got the shoyu and the sweet heat and both were so good. Pretty good portion size. This quickly became one of my favorite poke spots! However parking and seating is limited and can be hard to find. Will definitely be back when we're in the area!
Had a pretty long line one Sunday evening but I kinda get it considering how good the meal was. I ended up ordering a large serving with Shoyu and Spicy Shoyu and wow were the servings filling! Almost like I ordered a large or something...I had it with edamame and seaweed salad on the side, with rice being a complementary side as well. The food is as good as Poke could possibly get, so I would definitely come back if I were in the area. The interior is pretty small with some seating along the wall and with around 2-3 tables outside. While I was able to find parking at the connected parking lot, I can see why it'd be a challenge as the parking lot is really small. But there is a neighborhood right next to it and a parking lot across the street so it's no worries on that end. Minimal interaction with staff but they seemed cool.
Whenever I'm craving poke this is the only place that comes to mind. The line might be long, but the staff are quick and friendly. The shop is small, so I almost always take home but there are little patio benches and a small bar top inside if you wanted to stay. I always get something a little spicy, and am extremely satisfied with the flavor of all the choices I've ordered. read more
I remember years back when they just opened. Now there's oftentimes a long line to the parking lot to order. Order at the counter, sit at the wind o ledge or if you're lucky, at one of the three tables outside. A bunch of choices of sides and types of poke. We got seaweed salad and spicy edamame ( they also have regular). They also have pickled cucumbers. We got both spicy and shoyu poke, but they also have original, Cali roll, tofu, sweet heat. Two sizes, regular $13.95, or large, $19.95. Same options, but larger portions. They also have a few desserts: green tea ice cream, coconut pineapple ice cream, and mochi ice cream. read more
Actual rating: 3.5. Two friends separately recommended this spot to me so I obviously had to go at the earliest opportunity. I ordered the regular plate with original and spicy poke. For my sides, I opted for seaweed salad and pickled cucumbers. The quality of the fish was very good/buttery and the flavor did remind me of Hawaii! I don't think it gets 5 stars because of 2 things: 1. There was a long line when I arrived and it took around 30 minutes. While the food was delicious, I don't think it's worth waiting that long in line for. The actual ordering and paying was quite fast. 2. The trash was overflowing, and the bathroom was quite dirty. Inside is small with limited seating, however, there are a few tables outside to sit and eat as well. Also, there's a small lot with limited parking. My friend and I went to Manhattan Beach for lunch and explored the area by walking along the boardwalk until sundown. On our way back, we passed by this place and decided to have a light bite since we were both not that hungry. We decided to share a bowl of: Half shoyu half spicy. Side of cucumber salad, spicy edamame and brown rice It was surprisingly good and it's good that we decided to share because the serving was pretty generous. All ingredients (fish and veggies) were fresh and delicious. There were bar seating inside and more seats outside the store. It looked like a popular restaurant because there's always a constant stream of customers. Service was fast and friendly. There's a restroom inside and lots of free parking around the area. read more

I got baited and the line did not move fast at the dinner hour on a Saturday, but we don't make it out to here very often so we waited. It probably took us 30+ minutes to get our order, but once we were inside the store it was pretty fast. I got half spicy and half California roll, with pickled cucumbers and edamame (two sides are included in the regular). Tuna was not mushy at all and had a very smooth bite. The flavoring was also not too heavy, especially the ones that had mayo in them! The pickled cucumbers were not what I was expecting -- I was thinking more like Cava but instead it was more like pickles, and I felt like the edamame could've been seasoned and not as tough but the poke was good enough to win me over. This price point is also unbeatable at ~$15 after tax. Plenty of seats inside and outside to eat! I guess a lot of people buy and head to the beach. read more
This is just the best poke you can get in LA/South Bay/Long Beach. The fish is always so fresh, it has a certain firmness to the bite that you just can't get anywhere else. The fish is kept so cold, and so it is very refreshing. The marinades are flavorful and complement their sides of sweet pickled cucumbers so well. The line is long, but moves fast. It's easy to park, grab your food, and walk to a nearby front or beachside view. It's the perfect spot for a lunchtime picnic date. read more
Arrived 10 minutes before closing and there was still a decent line out the door on a Thursday evening but the wait is totally worth it! The fish is fresh, each flavor is seasoned really well, and the sides are all delicious. Towards the end of the day, options are limited but still worth it. I tried their wasabi and spicy poke and both were so gooood! And for the sides I had their pickled cucumbers and seaweed salad which brought the perfect balance to the dish. This is a small poke shop with a few seats inside. There's a small parking lot attached that fills up really quickly, but there is free street parking nearby. I came on a weekday for lunch and there was already a small line forming 10 minutes before their opening time. The workers are really fast and efficient, so the line moved quickly. Stopped by to grab poke before dropping my friend off at LAX. Thankfully it wasnt too busy! There is a fairly small parking lot, less than 10 spots but street parking nearby! There is a few picnic tables outside but I recommend grabbing it to go to the beach! I got a poke bowl with the spicy poke and it was so yummy! You can only choose two sides with the regular bowl. The cucumbers were to die for!!!!! I will say, for the price the portion size was a little small. But the poke is very fresh and flavorful! read more

SO DELICIOUS! My boyfriend brought me because he knows I am a seafood junkie and love, ADORE a poke meal. We saw this on some post about the best poke spots in LA and it did not disappoint! I ordered the Sweat Heat and my boyfriend ordered the original. Both amazing. If you love pickles pleeease get Aunty's pickled cucumbers on the side. Ugh I'm salivating just reliving this experience. Amazing poke, quick and friendly service despite the long line at lunch rush, very laid-back atmosphere with a bit of both indoor and outdoor seating. Ordered a Regular size with Shoyu and Spicy poke, brown rice, pickled cucumbers, and seaweed salad. I loved my plate and destroyed it, eating in silence to savor the food as much as possible haha. My friends enjoyed what they got, too (a mix of Original, Hawaiian, and California Roll). Poke were well-seasoned, cool in temperature, and tasted fresh! Marinated yet not mushy. I mixed some of the Shoyu and Spicy together, and it helped tone down the heat of the Spicy while adding a savory creaminess to the Shoyu (aka a yummy combo). Thankfully the pickled cucumbers and seaweed salad weren't overly sweetened, and they added some great textures. Easy to see why Jus' Poke is highly rated. They deserve all the hype, and the positive reviews are justified. I'd love to come back and try their other flavors. Only con is the limited parking nearby, but it's not their fault. People become VERY aggressive/ambitious parkers in that shared, tiny, one-way lot, so be careful. There appeared to be residential street parking nearby with a short walk to the shop, too. read more

Ngl you need the rice for this one. The sauce was heavily coating the fish which was good, but can be tad bit too salty at times on its own. Though I do like that this poke place was more focused on the fish than adding all the extra toppings you get at most poke places. Seaweed salad was pretty decent. The pickled cucumbers felt more like pickles than an Asian styled cucumber salad but still nice to eat with the rice. Service was really friendly despite it being lunch time. I was thinking of sitting in and eating but the place was pretty packed during a weekday lunch so I ended up taking it to go. The place isn't that big so there wasn't a lot of seating on the inside. Parking was a little busy so had to park further away at another plaza before walking over. read more
Jus' Poke is a solid place to get Hawaiian poke! This place always has a line so I recommend going there right before it opens. The parking lot is also small, but there's street parking nearby. Their poke is so affordable. We both got the Large poke and that was a mistake cause we were so full by the end of it. The portions that they give are huge! Most definitely share if you get large. It's only $17.50 for large and $12.50 for regular so we had to go for the bigger size since it just made sense haha. I got the Hawaiian and spicy poke as well as seaweed salad and pickled cucumber sides. There is also edamame but you can only choose two. The poke was fresh and flavorful. Was looking for the gummy texture like what you'd get in Hawaii. Didn't get that, but still really good! The rice was also a little mushy. Overall though, it was a yummy dish! Pro tip: take your poke to the beach and eat it there. It's an experience! read more
It's all about Aunty's Pickled Cucumbers. This side really elevates the fresh tasting tuna. All the flavors are good, but just make sure to get the pickled cucumbers. Small space, but they have some seating inside and outside as well. Friendly staff. Limited parking. Get's busy during peak times. Worth the wait in my opinion. read more

Honestly the only place I've found that even comes close to Hawaii-level quality. For the price? Absolutely unbeatable!!! This is one of my main go-to spots and I always leave way too happy. We rotate between the spicy, sweet Thai, or California roll bowls, and we love the seaweed salad, cucumbers, and wonton chips. Sometimes there's a bit of a wait depending on the time, but it moves quickly and the staff is super kind and efficient. I recommend this place to everyone and will continue to do so!!! read more
came here on a whim and boy am i glad i did! i've always noticed this place driving by because there's always a long line but there wasn't a line when i went this time! this place is easy for togo poke and they have some seating inside as well as tables outside. it can be a littttle cramped but nothing crazy. staff is so so nice here as well i got the poke plate with spicy and shoyu with white rice, seaweed salad and pickled cucumbers. they are generous on their fish portions. the spicy did have a nice kick and the fish was very fresh. the shoyu had a nice umami flavor and the fish was also very fresh. i loved every bite! the pickled cucumbers had a strong vinegar flavor (i love) i keep thinking of this poke place and i can't wait to go again! read more

heard many things about this place and the queue when i arrived certainly, though expected, hyped it up even more. likely wouldn't queue for as long as i did in the future. not sure if it's the norm, but they had one person taking the orders, which likely resulted in the unnecessarily long line. would recommend better staffing. i believe they were prepping onions when i went because the onion gas was wafting a few feet outside the door and was making everyone's eyes water. everyone inside was perplexed as to why their eyes were suddenly watering when they stepped in. it made for a really unpleasant experience, especially since we were about to order. shared a large (shoyu and sweet heat) with husband. the cucumber salad was surprisingly chonky, super vinegar-y, crunchy, and really complemented the rice. seaweed salad was standard and delicious. i loved that the rice came loaded with bright aonori. poke was perfectly seasoned but i wasn't blown away. since they only serve ahi (sorry salmon lovers, you're out of luck here), i expected it to be super high quality, but i didn't get that experience. unfortunately, the poke didn't stand out and i found myself enjoying the cucumber salad more. i'm sure it's the best in the area, but i'd recommend another place over this if i'm going to be in oc. read more
Places with lines are usually hit or miss...but this was a HUGE HIT! We drove past the storefront on the way to Palos Verdes and saw a massive line out the door, so we knew we had to stop by on the drive down. The parking lot is pretty small, but there's street parking or lot parking nearby. On a Saturday around 12:15pm, the line honestly wasn't too bad, and we only had to wait outside 2 minutes before making it in through the door. The staff here is super friendly! Places where you DIY a bowl can be intimidating cause of choice paralysis, but the staff is super friendly, explaining how many scoops you can get and what their recommendations are. I got the original bowl with brown rice, sides of spicy edamame and pickled cucumber, and a mix of original poke and spicy poke. Coming from the Bay, these bowls were pretty affordable for poke and fresh fish prices. They also have a good selection of different pokes for you to pick from, who doesn't love variety! The bowls were DELICIOUS! I can understand the line out the door. The fish was incredibly fresh and soaked up the flavors of the sauces they were marinated in. The sides were amazing as well, super fresh and dare I say unique for a fast casual restaurant. Every bite just melted in my mouth, and the crunchiness of the sides complemented the well-seasoned fish perfectly. Super glad to have driven past this place, would love to come back!! read more
The freshest, most authentic poke in all of LA County!! This place had a line out the door all day and for good reason. The poke here is so simple and fresh! I loved all the different flavor options. I got a mix of the wasabi and the hawaiian tuna. The texture was melt in your mouth and the contrast between the sweet and the heat was unmatched. The sides were also so amazing!! The spicy was the perfect complement! I wish they were de-podded though. The rice and furikake was warm and fresh, even though we ordered around closing time. The selection of authentic hawaiian drinks was unmatched. The pricing is fairly reasonable too. Such a solid spot to pick up poke before heading over to Hermosa beach to watch the sunset. read more

Stopped by Jus' Poke and ordered the spicy poke along with the original as my protein, served with white rice. Took it to go, and it held up really well. The fish was fresh, clean-tasting, and the portion size was generous. The sauce was mixed into the fish nicely and had good balance overall. I probably would've enjoyed a little more sauce, but it was my first time ordering here, so that's easy to adjust next visit. I added cucumbers and seaweed salad on the side. The cucumbers were lightly sweet and worked really well mixed in with the fish and rice, adding another layer of flavor and freshness. Everything came together nicely. It was Super Bowl Sunday, so there was surprisingly no line, which made it an easy stop. Overall, a very solid poke option in the area - fresh fish, good portions, and an easy go-to when you're craving poke. read more
Really solid poke!! Stopped by here on a weeknight around 5:30 PM, and there was only a short line. I got the large poke with Hawaiian and spicy tuna. Both were delicious, the heat from the Hawaiian really builds over time though some bites were a bit too salty for me. Can't say it's my favorite poke spot in the area because it doesn't have as much variety in terms of fish and sides, but I'd still happily come back! I'd probably stick to the regular size next time, since the large comes with two huge scoops of rice. read more

Came here with friends to grab a dinner for the beach! This place has a small parking lot, which was appreciated. There was a line on a Sunday afternoon, but it wasn't too long of a wait. The inside is a small quaint surf-themed shop with a few counter tables along the windows. Not too many places to sit inside. My friends and I were all super satisfied with the food and price, surprisingly its a pretty large portion for a really good price. I expected poke to be more expensive. I really loved their sides--I got their cucumber and edamame, and put furikake on my rice. I personally got the original poke and the spicy poke. My only wish was that they had salmon! I was unaware all of their poke was tuna but regardless it was really delicious and fresh. read more

it's solid. Period. Big portions, Hawaiian-style, very hearty. You walk in one side and out the other. There's some bar seating inside and a few tables outside. Keep the door closed -- if you know, you know. The flavors are delicious and very authentic. Nothing fancy, just really good poke done right. I've been here before, and then came back again like 10 years later, and somehow it's still just as good. Consistent every single time. Huge fan of this place. They really need to open one closer to Orange County. read more

Soooo goood. I ordered a large poke bowl that came with two sides, rice, and your choice of fish. The spicy edamame had some good kick to it and the pickled cucumbers were so juicy and refreshing. I got the california roll for my fish and the creaminess of the Japanese mayo and the avocado was such a delight. I also got a half pound of spicy mayo poke on the side and it was heaven in my mouth. Drove from the SGV to get some fire poke. Second time coming and this time much longer wait but it's also 2pm on a Sunday afternoon with great weather, so the wait was expected. I didn't want to get a poke bowl because I wanted to save my stomach for the fish. Worth it to buy the fish separately and then get sides of rice. Total for everything pictured ~ $56. Was able to take leftovers home in my insulated bag with ice. Very relaxed coming here, nice but limited seating outdoors and indoor, with hardworking staff. 5/5 every time! read more

Poke was okay. They only had tuna in different sauces. We tried original, spicy, and wasabi. They were all pretty much the same in flavor. The only difference was the spice levels were different. No dimension to the flavors. It was okay, but the long line makes it not so great. The price is good for what they serve. ~$15-$17 for a bowl. Limited sitting, indoor and outdoor. read more
Even though the line is long; it moves fast! I enjoyed my first Poke bowl from Jus' Poke! Basically you order rice, 2 sides and your choice of 2 kinds of Poke with the small bowl. I had the white rice, spicy edamame, seaweed, California roll poke and spicy poke! Next time I will have to remember to add fresh avocado on top ;-) P.s.- I do wish they made a mix with fresh salmon cubes instead of only multiple ahi tuna poke options! read more
Saw this viral spot on TikTok and a friend also suggested to try! The poke was fresh with different side options. I decided to get the original poke and the spicy poke with avocado, pickles, and spicy edamame with rice. I would've gave this place 5 stars but they were out of spam musubi, wonton chips and not much to choose from for drinks. I would totally come back with friends! This is a legit Hawaiian poke spot. All the fish is tuna. The vegetarian option is marinated tofu, and it's actually pretty good. The menu is easy. You can choose the meal (regular or large size) or poke by the pound. I was recommended to get rice with the poke because they tend to run salty. I have to agree with the recommendation because shoyu, spicy, and local's wasabi were all very salty by the end of the meal. They have something called one-ton chips, which are pretty good too. They run about $3 a bag. They sell Hawaiian Sun drinks! It's perfect with the poke. There is a small parking lot, but there is free street parking less than a minute walk away. They do have one bathroom inside. It's a tiny space inside. There is indoor and outdoor seating. Credit card/Apple Pay accepted. read more

For ordering, they ask what you want and put it together on the spot. The restaurant itself is very small with minimal seating inside and some outdoor tables. Most customers order take-out. What a great experience. This place had the best tasting and freshest shoyu poke that I've ever had. I think on the same level as Waikiki shoyu. I also tried the spicy poke but it wasn't as stellar. I would definitely get the shoyu again next time i come back. The parking only had about 6-8 spots so very limited. There were also two benches outside to eat on which was nice. Overall, best shoyu ive ever had and would come back. Not bad value either, decent sized portions. read more

Hi J.L. Our original and spicy poke are gluten free. All of our Mayo based poke do have egg whites in them. We have no dairy in any of our products. Mahalo!

All we serve here is Ahi tuna and it is premixed and marinated. We hope to see you soon!
How is the store operating during COVID?
No inside seating, contactless payment, customers stand 6 ft away from each other while waiting in line. Last time I was there, outdoor seating was not available. Everyone wears masks and hand sanitizer is available for customers.
