Came here for the first time today. The fresh oatmeal and fruit cups are absolutely delicious! The oatmeal is served with fresh bananas,strawberries and blueberries and topped with real cinnamon. The fruit cup was packed full of fresh ripe fruit. The staff asked me about my Labor day and struck up a friendly conversation and learned my name. I feel like they really take time to get to know their customers. This is a real coffee house/Cafe and I would recommend this place to everyone. Came here during coachella, only was on the look out for some place to get caffeine. Came in first day and asked the barista guy w glasses for his favorite. He gave me a large iced americano w two packs of brown sugar and cream. Just like the rest of the weekend another thing I will remember for a long time. I don't usually take the time to write a review but I was very disappointed with my experience at this place today! My friends and I made the 30 minute drive to the coffee shop due to the reviews. Was not worth it. The customer service was awful. My friend ordered an coffee with almond milk, paid for it, and they made the wrong drink. After mentioning the order was wrong they remade it then let her know that there will be an up charge. It's defined not about the 60 cent up charge It's about charging after remaking it. Not only that. I received 1/2 my order and had to ask, after everyone received their orders, where my second half of my order was. They didn't tell me anything other than start talking between each other. After I asked for it, they tossed the grilled cheese into the oven to be warmed up because it definitely wasn't a grilled cheese. It was warmed up toast with not fully melted cheese. The shop wasn't even that busy. I would understand if they had a long line with a crazy amount of orders. They had 5 workers with some of them just standing around. At this point there was no need to say anything. I was defined over this coffee shop. Definitely not worth the visit. read more

My favorite coffee spot! I think this place is seriously underrated as far as the quality of their coffee. Most places (including a trendy coffee place a few miles away that will remain unnamed), have gotten lazy with making their drinks. An iced latte should not be milk with a splash of espresso, it should be smooth & strong with a dark color to it. Other places are typically too weak and therefore I need to get an extra shot, or for some reason, it tastes watered down. We got here just as they opened and they were able to help us right away. The service was great. My girlfriend got a sausage, egg, and cheese croissant. It came with a cup of fruit. Definitely a wide selection: melon, blueberries, banana, raspberry, pineapple, and strawberries. I got the oatmeal abd it was beautifully decorated with blueberry, strawberries, and banana. She got a chai tea latte, which they were able to customize with soy milk. I got a strawberry banana smoothie. It was made with fresh fruit and not the basic powders and puree. I just got served a burnt breakfast sandwich. They did not remember the avocado add-on I paid extra for. The first time I went here I sat waiting for a coffee that was made, but was left on the counter and never brought to my seat nor was I called over. I had to ask where it was an it took two employees to locate it. It's a bummer because otherwise the quality of the food is generally good (fruit cups on point, good ingredients when not burnt). But it seems like the same 3 young kids are typically working here. They are friendly, but inexperienced in service. I hate having to play manager at places like this when there isn't one on duty making sure things are top notch. Another solid 3 star Indio food joint. read more

This is the best coffee place in the desert. Coffees are great (cappuccino and java frost); good assortment of foods (yogurt, oatmeal, quiche, fruit, pastries); the staff are welcoming and efficient. I usually don't write reviews, but I gave this place 2 tries to prove that it was a fluke my first time. My first time I ordered a blended mint mocha. It tasted waxy and left a weird film in my mouth. I couldn't finish it. I really like to patronize local businesses and tried again this morning. I ordered a small blended mocha, thinking it was the mint in my last mocha that left a yucky taste in my mouth. Unfortunately, it was the same experience. This prompted me to sign up for yelp and write this review. This place needs to seriously revamp their blended drinks. As close as it is to my vacation home, I will not be returning. read more
