This place was top-notch! Their veggie breakfast sandwich was to die for, and the staff was super friendly!

They make good espresso drinks. Several quiche to select from. Fresh fruit. Three only thing missing is a lox and cream cheese sandwich.

Wow what a great little place. We were in town just for the day and were lucky enough to be near this quaint little cafe. They have great breakfast sandwiches (egg, spinach, and provolone). Absolutely the BEST coffee house I have ever been to!!! Their Americano's are fabulous and they are actually hot unlike the coffee at Starbucks which I have always found weak and often served just above room temperature. We went thru the drive thru and has such cheerful service. We ordered 2 drinks, one of which he was a black coffee. We had to pull ahead for latte and wait just about 1 minute. Drink was brought to our window by the same cheerful girl who took the time to inform us they would be open on Christmas and she hoped she would see us then. Coffee and pastries are wonderful. A local bakery provides the parties which are, as the saying goes, lights out good. Try the bagels, cinnamon rolls, and scones. And the iced coffee is perfect: fresh, not sour. Grounds are good, which bodes well for other beverages served. The owners care about this business; they work behind the counter. And they roast their own beans! I say, give this place a try. I think they have more than one location. I tried their Washington Street store in Bermuda Dunes. read more

This great little coffee shop is a wonderful antidote to a world of chain-store sameness. One step inside and you'll know the coffee is top notch. They really know how to make delicious espresso drinks. This place has a true "corner-store" feeling with neighbors and regulars enjoying coffee, tea, conversation, and the parade of people going by on their way to their various destinations. Worst dining experience ever. One and a half hours to get 4 sandwiches, the staff can not multitask or do more than one thing at a time, and looked as tho they had no idea what they were doing. There was a team of 4 people working and they were literally tripping over each other. They cleared the lineup behind us FOUR times, including food orders, before we got our food. When it finally came out, they had run out of ingredients for three of our sandwiches and then proceeded to screw up two of them. As a result we paid for and ate food that wasn't what we ordered, just so we could get the hell out of there. When they asked to substitute an everything bagel for the cheese one that was ordered, and we asked for a refund instead due to allergies, the owner/manager was rude and defensive. We were given two excuses for the delay: 1) we make everything fresh... (I've had fresh gourmet meals at other places that took a quarter of the time to prepare), and 2) it's coachella so they are busy (it's not like coachella was an unexpected event that couldn't be pre-planned for). The reality of the situation is that the staff were incompetent and their systems were inefficient. Coffee and sandwiches aren't rocket science. Worst service and experience ever, and the sandwiches weren't even very good. We honestly wondered if the hold up was due to them waiting for a strung-out chicken in the back to lay the eggs. Horrible, just horrible. read more
