Just an amazing experience! First timer her and def not last time here as we wanted to have supper here Saturday night. Of course I wanted to order everything on the menu just so I can try it but I limited myself to a few dishes. Let's start with the Hummus with Pita I give this a meh because the Hummus was just there. Give me some garlic, give me some oil or something. It was special as it was just there. I had the combination with Gyro and Beef Kabobs which came with rice, side salad and roasted potatoes. Amazing and fresh! Mo did the Chicken Kabobs which were juicy and flavorful! The drive up line was long but they work fast here so you got your order and food I'd say within 8 minutes tops. The value for all this food was amazing as I'm a fan for life. Why do you advertise that you will deliver when you don't? You advertise that you have a truck that will deliver the food on your website, but when I called to place an order, it took 3 hours for the person to call back when he was "on a break" and had zero customer service and then said that it was pickup only. This past Saturday I went to pick up catering for my sons graduation party and waited an hour and a half after the pick up time. About 10 other people were waiting for catering too. it was awful and I would never cater from here again. They even told people to come back at specific times and they still had to wait 40-60 minutes. This is why people cater. This is the best place i've ever been at or eaten at, if I was on death row i'd have it for my last meal i swear. If i had to choose this or my first born, i'd choose a beef kebab sandwich with potato wedges and a smoothie. My go-to place to grab a quick dinner. I absolutely love everything here, especially the chicken skewers and the spicy feta. Now that they make their own pita, it's even better. I usually go next door to their market and get a bag of pita and a container of their spicy feta so I can keep enjoying it at home. My kids eat through so much of it. Pulled up around dinner time and the drive through line was backed out to the side street so I decided to park and order inside. It took all of one minute to put together my order...service is FAST! We got a gyro plate, chicken kabob plate and a shrimp kabob plate. Each plate came with a very generous portion of food. The shrimp was flavorful and the rice was really good too! It's hard to give 5 stars because it gives the impression that nothing can be done better. I had to give it because I couldn't find a reason not to give it. This is about my 4th or 5th visit and they have been consistent. The food is really good, taste fresh and always served hot. The portion size is fair for the price. They are always pleasant and the setup makes getting your food quickly. I have had just about everything on the menu and have enjoyed it all. I try to stay away from pork but I end up with one skewer of pork and usually share it, it's always juicy and have a great charbroiled taste. It's funny that the item I like the best is what I eat the least of. The beef, chicken and shrimp skewers are very tasty as well. The potatoes, rices and salads make for a great accompaniment. It always leaves me full and at times, I can't eat it all in one sitting. Try the hummus. It's pretty good too. It has a nice but basic dining area. Dried chicken in pita bread, no flavor to the chicken and well, nothing else...no sauce, nothing. Just dried chicken in pita bread. While hanging out with a friend in the area, we decided to grab food on our way home to Dekalb. She suggested this place, saying lots of people like it and very reasonable prices. Only bad thing is it closed in 20 mins. I really wanted to try the half chicken with lemon, but they were all out of it- which is understandable- they were closing in 20 mins! My boyfriend actually pointed out a value meal deal thing, included a kabob and a side. I got mine with rice and beans and he got fries. They were out of steak so we both got chicken. Horrible customer service/customer relations. Ordered $45.00 assorted kabobs last night via drive up window. Upon arrival home and unpacking I noticed the two pork kabobs I ordered and paid for were not included. I checked the receipt to find that Just Kabobs does not list order detail on the receipt, just a total. So I threw away the receipt knowing that wouldn't do any good. So tonight I figured I'd just go back to the drive up and place an order and tell them they left the two pork kabobs out of my order and thought it would be no problem. All I got was: "Do YOU have your receipt?" "Did YOU call when you got home?" I asked to speak to the owner and he said "the owner is not here he's never here." Well that explains a lot. Just let the employees run the place and make the rules and piss off customers. I'll never go back again and I've already spoken to family and friends who will never return to Just Kabobs as well. They lost a lot of business for their ignorance. read more
