Horrible service and rudest technician I've ever met!!!!!! Their technician Armen is a person who's ridiculous and ill tempered. Actually We've been stuck with our AC problem for 2 years. It's making warm air each summer. So far I've dealt with a lot of companies already including Just One Call, however, no companies have ever thrown me attitude except Just One call!! The ill tempered man came check our AC back in 2016 summer and I don't even remember if it's fixed at that moment or not, tho the problem just came back again this summer. This time, Fidelity Warranty already sent me 2 companies prior to JOC, but they gave me different opinions, one said there was leak in compressor, one said no. I also had a few outside companies come for a diagnosis and they all suggested to replace both condenser and coils. And one of them even helped me explain the failure and give their pricing to my warranty in order for them to decide a cash flow for me. About the coil, all companies prior to JOC were on the same page that it didn't match my 5 ton condenser, which was only 3.5 ton. Since I felt the cash given by warranty was much lower than what I expected, then my warranty sent JOC for a third opinion. After Armen checked both condenser and coil in the attic, he told me he added sth to the freon leak which I was not quite sure the name he mentioned. I asked him if what he meant was he added freon today, he was just showing a mad face and became very impatient, looking like he's unhappy with my not following what he said. I wish I could be a pro as well tho!!! That was not the worst. When I asked him if the coil matched the condenser, he said it's also 5 ton which had no problem. Then I just mentioned all other companies had same diagnosis that coil was only 3.5. He just lost his temper right away and asked me to find another company rudely. I don't quite get the reason why he lost his temper. For us customers, we have the right to ask you any questions or even doubts we have, let alone I have been told by majority of companies about the same coil problem. If you insist that what you concluded was correct, show me proof!! That's how a pro is supposed to behave rather than stay in a temper. Now I even doubt bout if he's really a pro who can't even be questioned by customers. Once being questioned, he just gives attitudes other than explains in details. I can even file appeal against a court decision!!! Last but not least, he said he's fixed the problem today and it's making cool air now, but dunno how long it's gonna last, maybe a few days, maybe a month since he couldnt find where the leak was. I said last year you also came and fixed but it came up again this year. You know what, he just turned away and left without a word and any work report. Thats totally ridiculous and irresponsible!!!! They just fix the symptom but not root problem, thus, they can keep getting money. What is business trick? This is it!! I'm tired of dealing with warranty and such companies contracted with them. Non-the-less, this is the worst one I've ever used thru warranty cuz we have no choice!! You wanna be respected, first you have to respect your customer! When I called their office today to complain against Armen, the office manager David sounded like it's my fault to make their technician uncomfortable being questioned. And when I asked what would be the solution for my complaint and requested for an apology from the technician, He just simply played down the facts and didn't even guarantee a followup call for that. If you were the first company who came over, I wouldnt even have any doubt, however, you were not! But you were the only one who said different thing that I was concerning about!! If you were me, who would you choose to trust?! I talked to all the other companies this way, talking about what other companies said, those technicians would just explain and try to convince me of what they concluded, nobody showed me attitudes. Horrible customer service, I had to go two weeks without A/C because the tech wrote up the paperwork wrong causing my home warrenty to deny coverage after a second opinion from them. Communication is really bad, the clerk is very lazy with bad communication. I found a excellent A/C company who installed the same day if you need a good price and excellent service. This company caused me to go two weeks without A/C and wanted to charged me triple the price I paid. I would NEVER reccomend this company to anyone. They are a nightmare!!!! read more

Originally called home warrenty for one room not cooling off. They had just 1 call sent out on Monday and they replaced the thermostate and did something to the unit outside which wasnt the problem as my wife explained to him but he said it should be good to go now. He left and the entire a.c. unit broke down an hour later. Now no a.c. is pumping through the house just hot air. Tried to call them that night and they were closed. So next day i called them back telling them whatever their man did, didn't fix our problem in fact made it worse. With temperatures reaching well above 110 degrees outside my house has been like an oven staying at 95 degrees pretty much from sun up to sun down. I was told the soonest a tech could come back was on Thursday morning. Explaining the heat wave as well as my kids I was given a "sorry that's the soonest he can come out." Thursday comes and the same man returns to look at the unit and says it needs to be replaced...all of it including the part in the house. They will have to send in paper work to my insurance company to approve this. I called the insurance people on friday who said they have not received anything from just 1 call and have since requested the information from them as an emergency in three separate emails since there is a heat wave and there are kids living in the house. I called again Saturday morning and it still has not been submitted so my insurance companies hands are tied until they receive the paperwork. I have since had to purchase a portable a.c. unit for one room and we have all been sleeping in one room at night but suffering in the heat during the day. One simple problem has turned into a nighmare. I am still waiting for my issue to be resolved either through them or another company. I feel my insurance company is being scammed by them seeing my a.c. unit was working just fine the first day they looked at it only problem was one room not getting air. read more

These guys are great! My home warranty placed me in contact with them and set up a service call with them. I was weary at first since I had experienced poor service with other providers. Not Just One Call. They called ahead of the appointment on the day of to give me advanced notice of their arrival and showed right on time. They were extremely polite and very professional. I appreciated that. They didn't treat me like an idiot; answered all my questions and performed in a truly committed way to address the issue with my HVAC. Here are JUST THE FACTS after 3 repair visits by Just One Call, paying my $75 American Home Shield fee, paying $150 to Just One Call for items mentioned below, and today my HEATERS ARE STILL NOT WORKING. On Dec 1: American Home Shield online send my heaters-not-working request to Just One Call. Friday, Dec 8 (I was not available for an earlier appointment) was the FIRST visit by Just One Call to repair heater, but Roland the technician determined he needed to order a new board so heater was not repaired. Friday, Dec 15 was SECOND visit by Roland of Just One Call to install board and I paid $150 for replacing hard piping + replacing gas shutoff/safety valve + preventive maintenance but Roland determined he needed to order new igniter for blower. Friday, Dec. 29 (we had been out of town on vacation so could not do an earlier appointment) was THIRD visit by Just One Call and Roland could not resolve heating problem and he really tried to do that (Roland was courteous and professional). So, I called Just One Call that afternoon at 2:15pm while Roland was still here and a customer service woman says that they cannot send a Senior Technician until the next available slot NEXT WEEK. I communicated that it was cold in our home and we would have no heat for Friday, Saturday, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day. The customer service woman says "I understand" many times and says that the Office Manager and Owner agree with what she was telling me. I was courteous and professional with the customer service woman even though she kept saying "I understand" but never offered to send a Senior Technician that afternoon or the next day (Saturday). That afternoon, I also called American Home Shield with no success in talking to a live person after waiting for 55 minutes. Frustrated, I called another AC/heating company and scheduled an appointment for today. And, I went to Costco to buy two portable heaters. Importantly, I have been an American Home Shield subscriber for 16 years and had only 1 other issue when a contractor wanted to charge for re-installing the bands that hold our water heater in place. read more

Horrible experience with this company. If I could I would give 0 stars for the service. My warranty company dispatched this company to fix my ac unit at my home. The company Just One Call lives up to its name litterally they just make one call. The company send a tech to look into the ac problem and they called one time and told me what the issue was and that they needed to order the part. A week later I did not receive a call. I called my Warranty company and they asked me to call Just one call again to schedule a 2nd appt so they can fix the ac. I scheduled an appointment on a Saturday and I missed work to get my AC unit repaired. Guess what they did not show up. I called my warranty company and they said Just One Call called me and I failed to show up to the appointment. Complete bull shit. This company never called never showed up. Do not use this company they are not professional in any way. Management must be horrible if things like this happen. It's been 3 weeks and I did not get my ac repaired Today I had to request a new vendor because this vendor named JUST ONE CALL is not competent. read more

I am an AHS customer and was assigned Just One Call for fixing my AC unit. I was very hesitant due to other AHS customer reviews on Yelp, but I found them to be extremely helpful, fair, professional. My appointment was scheduled a few days out from when I called (during summer), which I thought was very reasonable. They were on-time and called me just prior to their arrival. Armen was my tech, and he was very professional and answered all my questions. He even went so far as to show me how the tools worked and where and why things weren't working properly. He tested before and after and showed the significant temperature drop. He even guaranteed the work for 60 days. I was pleasantly surprised by his service. This has been an ongoing issue with these idiots. I'm a tenant in a condominium community and my landlord has AHS (which is a joke). Anyway back in 2015 I scheduled with them to come out on a Saturday for a leaking A/C unit, no one showed and when I called the office it said their hours were Monday thru Friday. Now how does that help me? Why schedule customers on a day you don't have office staff in case something does go wrong with the job or the tech. So I called that Monday to reschedule for the following Saturday again, because I was not going to take off work and it happened again, no call, no show and no apologies. So I informed my landlord and AHS sent out another company. Moving forward....A/C unit is leaking again, so I contacted my landlord to put in a ticket with AHS and low & behold I get a text saying someone from Just One Call will be contacting me within the next 24 hours (business day). I said "Oh Hell No", I immediately call my landlord to remind her of what happened last time and she wanted to give them a chance, so, okay. Four days went by and no call, so I called her and she had to call them in order for them to call me to schedule an appt and that was for July 1st. I get a tech that can barely form a sentence in English! I told him where to access the unit and he's looking at me like I'm speaking Chinese. He then tells me that he has to check the filter first. I told him the filter is fine and he can access the actual unit via the bathroom, so he's bypassing me to go and access the filter and I told him not to go over in that area because it wasn't clear plus he would need a ladder. He put his filthy, dirty little fingers on my office chair trying to get to the filter and I'm looking like I wish you would, guess he felt it because he stopped dead in his tracks and mumbled something. So I told him if he doesn't want to access the unit to see where the leak is coming from then he can leave and I had to tell him that several times...so he left. I had to call 3 different times (the first 2 times I left messages, one VM & one with some chick) before I could speak with someone in upper management (Arthur). So they don't return calls for complaints either. So Arthur told me that the ticket was closed out and I would have to contact AHS again to reissue an order for service. So I called my landlord AGAIN....so they were scheduled to come out today 12pm to 4pm. Rec'd an email at 3:39pm that the tech Richard G is in route and of course...no call, no show. So I called (at 4:20pm) and the girl told me the tech (Richard G) told them he called twice and no answer (but I have no missed calls or VM's) and he came to the door and KNOCKED...no answer! REALLY....cause I'm sitting by the door. I'm sooooooo irritated, they are so lucky I didn't take off work. So my landlord will be making a formal compliant with AHS, they really need to CANCEL their contract with Just One Call and the company also need to change their name cause that's contradictory. She's going off book and going with a private contractor...glad it's only leaking because if it wasn't blowing cold air, as hot as it's been these last couple of weeks, I would've came out my character. read more

I really wanted to leave a review after working with this company for a complicated issue that was resolved within an hour. Our AC unit been acting up and of course it stopped working completely. We really didn't know who to work with because there are so many companies out there. I chose this company based on a recommendation from a friend. I'm happy I did. I was frustrated and inconvenienced until Robert showed up on the fourth trip and found the issue and finally fixed my air conditioner. I was unfortunately referred to Just One Call by Fidelity National Home Warranty. A technician just left my house, insisting NOTHING is wrong with my AC. He came to this conclusion by pointing out that cold air is blowing out of the vents. Yes, it is. However, hardly any air is blowing at all. After having left the AC on for 2 days straight, set at 70, my house never cooled below 78 (at night only) and in fact went up to 98 during the day!!! (I live in Fontana where we are currently experiencing 100+ temps). I don't pretend to be knowledgeable in AC repairs or diagnostics but this CANNOT be normal. Today was their 3rd visit. Frustrated, I called the office while the tech was still in my home as he wanted to leave as he continued to insist everything was working properly. I was basically blown off and told to get a second opinion. Since they have left, less than 30 minutes ago, the temp in my home has gone from 81 to 84. Outside it is currently 80. I asked him if he checked both he kept insisting that freon is the issue for both, with a very unprofessional rude manner. Well I agreed to what he said. Robert from this company said it needed freon because it had leaked out, unit need cleaning. I paid a lot of money for freon and cleaning. He never fixed the leak. Service was on October 3, 2016. Tech came to house to fix a bad panel switch on my furnace. Tech said due to a month old air filter it burned and shorted two 6 gauge wires. Instead of replacing the safety switch he bypassed it! He used wire nuts to connect the wires and called it good! I say again " bypassed a safety switch and called it good". The first thing you learn when dealing with anything electrical is not to do that. I saw him do it and asked him if he was sure he wanted to bypass a safety switch, his reply "yes". Excellent service. Gary come out to my house for the 2nd time today because my air conditioning was taking longer than normal to cool down my house. He checked my air pressure, Freon level, and the temperature of all the vents and everything was great, it is just because of the location of my thermostat unfortunately. He came out last Saturday as well and informed me that I was low on Freon and needed 5 pounds. He charged a great price and was very quick. He also recommended that I change my air filter and showed me how to do it. Gary went above and beyond to make sure my air conditioning was working great! Still extremely unhappy with this company. They were sent on a recall to our rental. The appointment was between 2-6, they called the tenant and stated they were 20 minutes out at 6:20pm, and never showed. I have copies of the voicemail as well as the time stamp. I called the Home Warranty and they called Just One call who stated they were there at 4:20 and no one answered. If that was the case, why is there a voicemail from them at 6:20pm stating they would be there in 20 minutes. This is the most disreputable company. All these reviews can't be wrong!!!! read more

I called them and spoke to David who was very pleasant over the phone. The technician ended up replacing the compressor and the unit was back to doing what it's supposed to do. I found Just one Call thru my home warranty protection. I had 2 appliances that broke in the past year. My insurance company always send Just One Call to me. I thought if insurance company is sending them out, they should not be too bad, right?! Although it took them a few trips to fully repair my Central Air Conditioning, the repair job could have been more thorough the first time around but Arthur, the manager had been quite responsible and stick to the project until it is all repaired. Fraudulent company!! I don't leave reviews for any businesses but this people are total scammers! American Home Shield home warranty assigned them to service my dads broken Air conditioning system. One of their so called technicians showed up and soon found out our air conditioner is totally out of refrigerant which didn't sound so convincing since we service it every year with a local contractor and on top of that Home warranty company wouldn't cover the cost of refilling. We had to pay them at the moment since the heat is unbearable over here. I highly doubt if our AC leaked out all the refrigerant and no other technicians ever noticed.
