    New, super efficient "Nest" thermostat!

    Jonathan from "Just one call" just came out to inspect and tune up our A/C unit. Arrived at the designated time A friendly greeting and he went to work. The last folks here, last year, over filled the coolant above 500psi where it should be in the 300 range. Jonathan adjusted the pressure which avoided damaging the compressor. Pretty cool state of the art diagnostic tools pinpoint any problems, when discovered, Jonathan makes the fix. We now have a great new "Nest" thermostat that is amazing. In addition to his professionalism he also scored big, by saying hello to our 19.5 year old dog, she liked him, she can be pretty discerning Anyone that likes dogs is usually a good person! We will be sure to Recommend "Just One Call" to our friends and family

    Can't say enough positive about using this service. I contacted Just One Call through the LADWP AC Optimization program and have been extremely happy with the results. Greg showed up early and on time, he was very nice and calm, metered even (no pun intended). He worked efficiently and was committed to making my AC work properly which I greatly appreciated, because I like AC. The Nest provided through this program is super clean and easy to use, and I couldn't be happier!! Thanks Greg, thanks Just One Call!

    Woow! What can I say about the service that Just One Call provided to my folks._ First I want to say thank you to ASHOT for being punctual, fast and patient on answering my Dad's questions and checking out the entire system at the house. ASHOT came through the DWP program and was very helpful and had a great attitude. He even helped my Dad to download the NEST app on his phone and thought him how to used it. Thank you ASHOT for helping my parents. I am giving you a five start review for your excellence service.

    This company should be called "Just Multiple Calls." Our furnace went out, and our insurance company AHS, sent them. 1st visit -technician was on his cell phone for 20 minutes dealing with a personal car insurance claim. After waiting for him to be done with his phone call, I asked him what the diagnosis was. He said everything was fine and left. (Even though I told him it was the inducer motor because it kept going on and off). 2 days later it went out again, so the insurance company sent JOC back. 2nd visit, it was a technician named Greg. The furnace is in the attic. When he arrived, he tried to say he could not get into the attic. (even though all technicians that came before him, including from his own company, had no issues. Just requires a ladder). After "forcing" him to go to the attic, he got on the phone and was facetiming someone at the company (not speaking english). I asked him what the diagnosis was and he wouldn't say. I explained that we'd been through this already, and I couldn't have him leave without a diagnosis to report to the insurance company. It was simple, the inducer motor and it needed to be replaced). He tried to leave without providing any info, an invoice or diagnosis. I had to chase him to his van. He was on the phone the whole time with someone at the company. Since was taking pictures of his van (as evidence he was there), he finally wrote the diagnosis and said he'd come back to fix it. They never called. After multiple follow ups, they made a bogus claim and said it was a problem with electrical. They knew this would trigger another appointment, but I had to go through the process with the insurance company. The electric company came, and said there was no issue with the electrical and nothing was tripped. They were confused as to why Just One Call made that claim. They also found the furnace was unplugged and a nail had been jammed into the inducer motor. Shady. Once the electric company reported their finding to the insurance company, it was cleared for Just One Call to come back and fix the furnace. Surprise surprise, after several calls, the job got transferred to Global HVAC because Just One Call denied it. (I'm glad they did because Global HVAC ended up being awesome, but Just One Call is shady). I think they make money on bogus visits through the insurance company. They just keep making appointment after appointment. I guess they get paid by visit. I'm not sure if JOC is paying marketing companies for these fake 4 star reviews, but they do not know how to fix furnaces. Global HVAC ended up replacing the inducer motor in under an hour, while these clowns at Just One Call made appointment after appointment. Don't call these guys at all they are frauds

They helped me understand options and worked with me on what I wanted. They did what they said they would do. They were flexible and took the time to finesse the work where it was needed. Good quality work. Permits went fine, and everything passed the first time. My 1930 property has a 2-story duplex and a house. I live in one unit and have renters in the other units. I talked to several companies about the work. So Cal Air was more responsive than other companies. Menooa was very knowledgeable and helpful during the first meeting, offering me options. Their proposal was competitive with other proposals. They helped me understand options and were flexible, and worked with me through the installation of what I wanted. They installed 3 separate systems for me, one system for each unit. Each system had 3 zones. I've had many repairs to my property over the years, and the details matter to me. I wanted to hide the lines as much as practical, preserve the architectural look. My contractor handled the electrical installation and opened and repaired the drywall after the lines were installed. SoCal Air worked well with my contractor. Renovation of older construction is often complicated and takes extra effort. We had to come up with some creative solutions, and SoCal Air did a great job! My units were installed above doors and windows. My contractor modified the living room cove ceilings so the indoor units would fit close to the ceiling. So Cal Air did everything else. Everything fits great and looks great! I appreciated that Manooa gave good recommendations to steer me away from difficulties, but he also listened to me and headed my wishes when it mattered to me. So Cal Air handled the permits for the heat pumps. The installation passed the LA Building and Safety inspections with no issues. The work was finished late summer, early fall of 2025, after the heat, but in time for winter. Heating worked great in winter. We had a chance to use the cooling during a recent heat wave, and it worked great! I bought the heat pumps primarily for cooling, since the apartments had only heating and had never had cooling before. The units work great! The temperature stays very comfortable. Everything is very quiet. I barely know they are on, except when I open the door and am shocked by how hot it is outside. My tenants gave me positive feedback and have been very happy with the heat pumps. My property still looks like 1930, but it doesn't feel like 1930 anymore! I am very happy with their work and the results. I've recommended So Cal Air to several friends.

From the initial consultation through installation, Menooa and his team were professional, knowledgeable, and easy to work with. They also enlarged one of my return air vents to meet the higher airflow needs of the new HVAC system. The work required widening the opening in the ceiling and installing a new return grille. The crew handled it neatly and professionally. When they finished, it looked like new. The new system is working great, airflow is noticeably improved, and the entire project was completed fast and as promised. It's not often that a major home improvement project goes this smoothly. I would recommend So Cal Air to anyone looking for HVAC installation or replacement.

I assumed it was the AC unit sitting right above it, so I contacted Pioneers in a mild panic. They quickly put me in touch with Tomer, who showed up that same afternoon to take a look. From the moment he arrived, Tomer was calm, kind, and completely professional, which is exactly what you want when you're stressed about water dripping through your ceiling. He diagnosed the problem efficiently: our AC drip pan had overflowed due to a clogged drain pipe. He walked us through everything as he went, answering every question we threw at him without making us feel like we were slowing him down. He needed a couple of additional parts he didn't have on hand, so he promised to return Monday morning to finish the job. And he did, right on time. When yet another part turned out to be needed mid-repair, he didn't reschedule or leave us hanging. He went out, got it himself, and came straight back to finish what he started. No drama, no delays. While he was up in the attic, he also flagged some rat droppings and other pest concerns. But not in a pushy, upsell-y way, but just as a heads-up. "Here's what I'm seeing, I can get you a quote if you want." Refreshingly straightforward. Tomer turned a stressful Sunday emergency into a resolved problem by Monday afternoon. Thanks Pioneers H&A!

He offered to refund the service fee because I was dissatisfied with the experience. While they were not the ones to fix my heater, I do appreciate the effort to follow up and their apparent commitment to customer satisfaction. I hope others will still consider giving them a chance, and if issues arise, I'd recommend reaching out directly to discuss possible resolution.
