Hidden within the tiny food court of the Plaza Hotel & Casino in Downtown Vegas is Just Rice! It's a cute shop and when we went had an equally cute Grandma running the helm. We're going to be honest with y'all, we didn't understand the $19.88 Honey Garlic Chicken only because it wasn't mentioned as being fried rice in the description but it surely was. By the name & description, it sounds like honey garlic chicken over rice. But anyyyyyyyyways, it was decent. The crab cheese wontons (lucky $8.88) are deliciously amazing though. Crispy shell and full of creamy flavor inside. The lovely grandma said they are tasty when we ordered them and G was right. She's the star here, by the way. I'd love to go back and try new things next time I'm at the Plaza playing bingo! Heck yes.

Yellow Curry with chicken. It was to go so no fancy pic.

I am in town for an Animal Care Expo and stayed on the strip. I decided to stay a day or two after on Freemont Street, my favorite place. Walked around a bit tonight but I was tired and headed back to my hotel..Plaza Hotel. I stumbled across the food court in the hotel, and saw Just Rice. I am so glad I went here. The curry is on point....and the rice is almost sticky rice, and is so good. I will be back to try more. Service was amazing and the ambiance is...well it is a food court, but it is tucked away, so not real busy. Prices are VERY reasonable.

Signature beef fried rice- soooo good!

Oh yum! I'm so glad we tried this place! We were staying at the Plaza and stumbled upon this fine establishment while exploring the grounds. Conveniently located on the first floor at the food court (near subway and fresh Mexican grill) I wasn't expecting much from a "food court" spot but Just Rice did not disappoint. We tried the yellow curry and the signature beef fried rice and the yellow curry. Oh wow! The yellow curry...what can i say...the flavors meshed so well...it had a subtle sweet note with a little bit of a kick. The chicken was tender ...the curry had onions ,potatoes, carrots, and bamboo (i think it was small bamboo) shoots. I could eat this without the rice. So yummy! The signature beef fried rice looked scary at first because he was bright red like he was angry! But no.....it was red hot with deliciousness:) the beef chunks were nice and tender and perfectly seasoned....no bland meat here! Mixed in the thin slices of red onion, carrots, egg, and green onion . Will def be back! Service was fast and friendly. A lot of seating so if you don't want to take it to go..you can sit down and eat. The gym is a couple feet away so if you're staying here...enjoy this after a nice workout! You deserve it if you worked out instead of gambling! Yes!

We wanted to eat before going to the Yelp Elite Event at Maverick's Variety Show, and we ended up here! The food court was not hard to find, but I thought it was interesting how all the restaurants were along a hallway, but it was cool that Just Rice was right next to the big seating area! Service was good and quick, and we ordered a Yellow Curry, and for a fast food type service, it was really good!!!

Truffle crab rice

Walking distance from any of the Fremont street hotels located off Main Street. It can be found in the food court of the Plaza Hotel & Casino. Very casual ambiance seating area available. Service was quick! My order came out fast and hot. I ordered the truffle crab rice. Packed with decadent flavor, a little on the oily side, and to my surprise went very well with the lemon, balanced the rich truffle flavor. Only complaint is I wish there was more crab especially for the high cost of the dish.

The best Thai food I ever had in my life , the Penang curry was amazing n my best pick for folks visiting . Quality n Quantity was awesome

Just Rice is located in the Plaza food court, so it's a casual place. It doesn't have its own seating, but there is plenty of seating in the adjacent food court seating area. The drill is you order at the counter, and the buzzing device they give you will let you know when your order is ready. Lola, the woman working the counter, was very welcoming and friendly. She's an asset to the place. What about the food? I ordered the Beef Fried Rice. The ingredients were fresh and well prepared, but it just wasn't for me. Next time, I will try the Chicken Lo Mein.

Went walking around for a quick bite before bingo and a security guard recommended this place, we were not disappointed! Staff was friendly food was good! So good, we came back the next day and brought some local family with us too for lunch. The garlic shrimp fried rice was the winner for me. We also had the drunken noodles, curry and kim chee fried rice. Everything was good, made with quality ingredients, and not oily. The seating is in the little food court area which never got too crowded. Check em out in the plaza hotel food court!

You'll find them on the casino floor and if you go left from Golden Circle Sports Bar, they're at the former spot of Las Vegas Yacht Club seafood restaurant. Inside is a lively atmosphere and very spacious, has elegant Japanese style latern and modern decor. You can dine at the bar or table, and there's ample seating. Soft opening was on September 1, 2025. They had their grand opening on October 3, 2025, the same day when they had their liquor license. They offer sake, wine, beer, and san miguel. Menu has a great selection of starters, soup, premiums, house specialty, tofu dish, noodle stir fry, noodle soup, fried rice, desserts and beverages. The Wor Wonton Soup ($18) is excellent and incredibly delicious! Soup broth is nicely seasoned and flavorful, has four big portions of pork & shrimp wontons, tender chicken, succulent shrimp, bok choy, shiitake mushrooms and carrots, it usually includes beef but I ask to omit, and I love how they're able to accommodate. It's so nice to meet Anthony, he's VP, and came by to my table to check in, asked how everything was, he's very welcoming and personable. I also met the head chef, Eduardo, he was the one who prepared the soup, it's superb! I wish more people know about this fantastic restaurant. Not a lot of people know about this hidden gem. Everyone in the staff is kind and accommodating, including Juan, he gave helpful directions where to find them. The dining area is immaculate, has high ceiling, and table seating can accommodate up to 250 people. This is not a traditional Chinese restaurant. Ace Dragon Wok primarily focus on guest curated experiences, and can customize any order especially for dietary needs for vegan, vegetarian, and gluten-free. The chef is well versed in Pan-Asian inspired cuisines, and everything is customizable to the region of preference, such as Malaysian, Indonesian, Tawainese, Japanese (excluding sushi), Filipino, Thai, Cantonese, Mandarin, Vietnamese, and Korean. This is all based on reservation, a minimum of two hours advance notice is needed before opening to allow the chef adequate time to prepare a customization menu. They also make their own five spice and chili oil. Service from Joaquin, Anthony, and Juan is very kind, welcoming, attentive, and friendly! Joaquin recommends to try Malay Curry Lime Salmon, it's a spicy dish but they can modify to make it not spicy which is great!

We had duck fried rice which was my favorite and the seafood with crispy noodles which has a gravy like sauce that will soften the crispy noodles. My friends enjoyed the fried bass lathered with savory and sweet fruits and veggies. The jackfruit is delicious! We also had medium rare steak that were sliced and lathered with sauce. It was tender and juicy. The chef gave us a bonus surprise which were the wok fried lobster tails. Thank you Chef AJ and Ace Dragon Wok team for the delicious food and warm welcome!

The atmosphere is super trendy and upscale and the quality of the food matches the prices. I ordered the Catch Roll, 10oz Filet and Lobster Mash! All amaazinggg ! Enormous disappointment…read more We were so looking forward to our meal here. I'm in my "seafood period" right now and I was excited at the potential I saw in the menu here. It's beautiful. But you no doubt know that from all of the Insta pics. Plan on some extra time to allow all of the wannabe influencers that are staging photo shoots at the entrance, which is famously decked out in fake flowers and pretty vignettes. It's all downhill from there. We were about 10 minutes early for our 5:30 reservation and the hostess told us she would seat us "closer to our reservation time". OK. That is sort of unusual since the restaurant seemed empty but sure. 5:30 came and went. We went back up to the hostess stand... apparently there was some shift change that was holding things up. Again, that's OK. But there was an attitude about it all that wasn't very friendly. We were shown to our table soon and it was a nice curvy booth. We both noticed pretty quickly that the music is too loud. That makes everyone have to talk loudly so you will be surrounded by tables of people yelling at each other. Our server seemed distinctly unimpressed that we didn't order any alcohol. You could see the moment he lost interest in us. When my partner asked about the chicken he sort of menu shamed us. We ordered expensive food so his attitude was unnecessary and he did warm up a bit after that. I had the seafood tower for one. This is $68 a person. When they put it in front of me, I was honestly confused. I couldn't hear a thing our server was saying over the loud music so I missed his descriptions of the items. There was something so bizarre on this seafood tower - something that looked like an oyster shell full of whipped cream. What in the world? Oh it's so much worse than that. To my horror, I tried it and found this is some sort of absolutely foul lemongrass cream or some nonsense like that. It was an enormous amount of it - a full mouthful and at the bottom of the shell was supposedly an oyster. I didn't find it and I wouldn't want to eat an oyster that had been sitting in that offensive pool. Wow. That is so amazingly bad. Nowhere on the menu do they warn you what they are going to do to your oysters. It's truly appalling - so bad in fact that I just had to say something to the waiter. He seemed surprised but I don't buy it. This cannot be popular. Anyway, rant over. The rest of the seafood tower was just OK. The lobster was tiny and not super fresh. The shrimp were sort of "meh" but the hit surprisingly was the scallop ceviche... very nice and bright. Note there is no bread either offered or on the menu. Felt weird. It's needed. For our main course, my partner got the filet mignon and a side lobster tail. His lobster was also of the "wee" variety and a bit tough. Steak was nice though and cooked as requested. I had the Truffle Mushroom with Spaghetti and added the jumbo shrimp. This was also terrible. I thought I liked truffles - but I bit into something in this dish that again I can only describe as foul. And the sauce was just too much and overwhelming. I ate about three bites and just gave up. We spent about $260 before tip. With no drinks. This was a pretty stunningly bad meal.

Only thing for me is that the fried rice and noodles seemed to have a little too big much oil in it. I don't think that's an indictment on 8 east itself, but more of a general Chinese/Taiwanese cooking method. But other than that, I would certainly come back again.
