My smog didn't pass because my car battery recently died and they kindly redid my smog.

Took my 2004 Hyundai Sonata to them for a smog check. I recently had the battery replaced so they gave me instructions on how to reset the cpu. A 15 minute drive down PCH at 60 mph and headed back to the shop. 20 minutes later smog check was done and passed. Great service, great help. Highly recommend! read more

When I caught you make an appointment I spoke to John but very professional very friendly I was so comfortable. He called me a price and I told him that I would come in. Then I had an incident when I couldn't come in at that time that I said the appointment due to an emergency with a neighbor I called them and rescheduled. The same day which was good. This review is way overdue. I had some work done on my 2004 suburban. I was there for a smog check and it needed work done in order to pass smog so I had them take care of the repairs. I'm so glad I did. Normally I would have my other mechanic but I wanted to give these guys a try because I feel like I'm in and out of my other mechanic a little too much. I'm so glad I gave Cole my business. Since the repairs have been done I have not had any issues with my car. That day he quoted me a price and when I went to pick it up it was a lot less and I said something. He said they ended up not using a part. So glad he was honest because I wouldn't have known the difference and would have just paid without any questions. I called Cole this morning for a repair on my Toyota truck he said I could come right now and when I got there he did the repair with no charge. One of the rooms was playing plant earth. When I got coffee I was surprised that they use real cups! Like who does that any more. The price was beyond fair for a smog check. I had called other places and they wanted more with cash only. At just smog they were less and took my card. I didn't have to pay cash. I felt safe at just smog. Shoutout to Cole!!! My 2010 Genesis coup will not pass a smog check. I've had multiple tests done, driven hundreds of miles, called multiple Hyundai dealerships, called multiple smog check and repair garages but Cole is the only person that told me anything other than drive more. Cole said I can come in and he would hook up the monitor my car then we would go from there. I do not live close to this location but drove to this location because of Cole. He the only person in all the garages I called between San Juan Capistrano and Huntington Beach that was willing to help me diagnose the problem with my car without BS. I drove straight to Cole who hooked my car up to the monitor, found out some information and then went to go do some additional research. He came back with some more information he found and said I should drive up and down PCH with my air conditioner off and maybe that would fix the problem. After doing the drive test unfortunately my car still did not pass the smog check. Cole hooked up the monitor to my car agin and was now able to tell me more info about what the issue was and I was then able to convey to my dealership. Though the problem still has not yet been fixed I am much closer to fixing the underlying issue thanks to Cole's excellent customer service. read more

Easy and nice place to get your smog done. I was concerned about finding a place in HB as I had just moved, but after seeing the reviews on yelp for this place i decided to give it a shot. It's a big more costly to get your smog done here (close to 50 bucks compared to 30 where I use to get smogged) but it's worth it. Mostly because it's hard to find a smog place that will not give women a hard time. This was easy, and there was no up selling on services. I enjoyed it, and will be back. The waiting room has a place space for little kids, TV, fish tanks and a charging station for cell phones. read more

These guys are just awesome! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by really friendly people at the front desk. The process was super easy too. One of the guys came out, introduced himself and took my keys. There were a few people in the waiting room, so I figured I'd be there for 30-45 mins. My appointment was at 4:40pm and I drove out of there about 20 mins later. I thought for sure I didn't pass smog or else it would have taken longer. The guy at the front desk said "You passed!" and we both cheered! haha I couldn't believe how quick it was. I clicked the "get a quote" button and about 5 minutes later, Daniel emailed me back and asked me a few questions about my car and gave me a quote. I was a little hesitant because I was told that places usually tack on "other charges" when you get a smog check. Not here! I got my bill and it was exactly what Daniel quoted!
