First screen when ordering. Makes customers feel owner is being so petty.

I was here a few years ago and it was awesome I happened to be in the area so stopped by again It is more authentic Thai food which is the only good thing I can say though you'll get a bunch of rice and little meat. They have a kiosk you order food. The first thing you see is how many pennies they will charge you for any fork knife spoon plate bag etc. it's making customers wonder if you're stressing over pennies what's the quality of food like are they skimping on that too? I ordered a pad kra pao. It's always been served with an egg. Not here, that's $2.95 extra! The price doesn't include any meat/tofu, you have to choose one that's at least $1.95 more So $17 plus tax for a takeout and they make me pay .03 for a fork and no napkins anywhere to be seen btw. The dish was almost all rice. There was maybe 6oz of basil peppers and minced chicken Gf had a panang curry which was also almost all rice I won't be coming back sorry to say especially given the horrible traffic that plagues this area. That's my .03 or the cost of their stupid plastic fork....... Next time I'm headed north on 93 to Bangkok spice in reading

A great thai spot in Dorchester. The ingredients are so fresh. I love that they use white meat chicken in most of the dishes. Sometimes I want to feel a little healthier without the fat from the dark. The best part is the flavors are so good from the sauces that you don't notice. Plus the meats are very tender so you know they were prepped well ahead of cooking. Coconut shrimp were very good. There was too much I wanted to try, including their signature wings. They have a big menu to pick from and out all sound good. Staff is so nice. You order from a kiosk that has pictures too. They text you when it's ready. There are 4 tables inside but it's mainly take out. You can eat inside though if you want. Portion size is huge. It reminds me of one of those Chinese take out places where they stuff the container, only the food here is much better quality. One of the best parts is how much food you're getting for your dollar.

The food was delicious and the service was great! The place was pretty clean however I wish the parking situation was better but that's just city life. The drunken noodles with crispy pork belly was flavorful and the portions were plentiful! We also tried the JTK and ZAAP wings. They were both tasty but the ZAAP is where it's at! We'll return for sure!

Tofu pad thai (wifey added Sriracha) was good, not super sweet with a mild tamarind flavor

This week's eating local. The ordering process is super easy and simple on their website, they use toasttab. The restaurant is clean and organized with designated pickup and ordering areas. Zapp wings... flavorful and not smothered in a sugary sauce. It had a nice amount of heat with a touch of something sour. Almost a hint of tom yum.. I would order this again, I will try the jtk wings The beef pad kee mao was good. It wasn't the best I've ever had but wasn't a disappointment. It is spicy, so if you aren't good with spicy, steer clear. The tofu pad thai was very good. It wasn't overly sweet and Tamarindy (idk if that is a real word). The ratio of noodles to bean sprouts was excellent, i hate it when half of my pad thai is half bean sprouts. Overall I will give it a 4.5. We will definitely try jtk again and see what else is good on their menu!

Shanghai Classic Pork Pan-Fried Buns上海生煎饅頭: I was instantly hooked! It's hard to imagine finding such good pan-fried buns in the US. Almost every table ordered them, so they were all freshly made, piping hot. The bun was made with unleavened dough, making it chewy and refreshing, with a light, crispy bottom--not oily or hard. The meat filling was substantial and tender, with plenty of broth (see picture). It was sweeter than salty, incredibly umami. The chili oil was also very fragrant, and dipping it in Zhenjiang vinegar enhanced the flavor and cut through the greasiness. Shredded Pork & Preserved Vegetable Noodle Soup雪菜肉絲麵: The noodles were thin and round, with a soft, mushy texture. While the noodles were clearly machine-made, this isn't a problem in the Yangtze River Delta region; the issue was likely overcooking. The shredded pork were well-stirred, with tender meat, but the noodles lacked flavor. They had to be eaten with the pickled mustard greens雪菜 to be slightly salty, and the umami flavor was severely diluted. The tableware is all disposable, and tipping is not mandatory. It's quite affordable.

They come out piping hot and fresh, and can kind of be hazardous if you bite into them too quickly and cause the soup to spurt out. I don't think I've had better ones in the states! In fact, even in Shanghai, it's kind of hard to find good ones sometimes (at least ones that serve them all day and not just for breakfast). It's more of a takeout place as it's rather small, but the interior is clean and bright.

The chain seems to focus on Canton rice noodle rolls. Opted for the beef brisket lo mien and it came out quick. The highlight was the generous portion of beef brisket that was tender and fatty. Both Cantonese and Mandarin were seamlessly spoken. Shrimp Rice Roll / Egg: It looked very appealing. However, the soy sauce was ridiculously sweet, much sweeter than in China, completely exceeding the standard "umami and sweet" of the authentic Cantonese cheung fun腸粉 (rice roll) soy sauce. The cheung fun skin was somehow overcooked, so some parts without egg at the bottom were soggy from soaking in the soy sauce, making the whole roll quite greasy. I have to admire my culinary acumen: I managed to preserve most of the skin's basic texture with the extra egg. Fortunately, the shrimp were fresh enough, six in a serving, with a crispy texture. Oh well, since I'm in America, it's tolerable. I must say, I would never have come here specifically for this, never in my life. Spending $10+ on a plate of cheung fun after traveling so far, will make me feel more like a sucker than ever before!

Our favorites were the eggplant with spicy garlic sauce, with the chengdu dry hot chicken and the string beans. The braised beef with Napa cabbage and mapo tofu were also delicious. Ambience 3/5: super loud. It wasn't even the music, it was that people's conversations were bouncing off the walls in a small space such that it was not possible to hear the other people in my group except who I was sitting next to. I saw several dates there and hopefully they could hear each other ok. Drinks: 2/5 overpriced and disappointing. My Negroni was ok but my husband's Manhattan tasted watery like it had been shaken instead of stirred and the melon highball tastes medicine-y.
