This used to be my favorite place to go, but not after today. I had come in before for a slow tire leak, and the worker who had filled my tire with air a week ago had found a screw, saying that it would need to be repaired. So I drove in today, spoke with the man behind the counter, name of Anthony, asking that my tire be repaired. He responded with, "Who told you the tire could be repaired?? I have to look at it first!" So he looked at it, said that because the screw was in the sidewall, the entire tire needed to be replaced and that he could probably find something comparable to what I had. When I said that I wanted the same tire as is already on the car, he said it was probably some Chinese brand because he had never heard of it. Inspecting the tire, he found that it was made in Taiwan. I said then that I would shop around to get the tire. He then walked away! Didn't offer to put more air in the tire, didn't offer to put the emergency tire on, and I was so blown away by his attitude that I didn't think to press either of those points. I made a reservation/appt online for a wheel alignment - when my husband arrived to drop it off, the slick associate said they didn't have the technician in today and that we didn't have a reservation. Fortunately, I had the confirmation email listing out the service I wanted...so that's problem number one. Then the associate said it would be $200 - this service should cost no more than $100. I know this for a fact because my family has taken their cars there to get aligned. He explained he would take it to another business to get it aligned - so basically he was charging us an additional $100 making their problem our problem by not having the technician there and gauging us. These guys are lame. I would never take my car here because everyone I know who has had multiple problems afterward. Maybe it is a scam they are running to create repeat business? Anyway, my suspicions were confirmed when my mom took my car here while I was living out of state. She had them replace the tires. A few weeks later I come home start driving my car around like normal and then like clock work I start losing my hubcaps one by one on the freeway! Freakin A! Just wanted give a shout out to Just Tires. We had a blow out on our tow vehicle on the 210 freeway. Looked up a near by tire store and found these guys. We pulled into there shop with our 35 Motorhome and our tow vehicle attached. They didn't have the tire we needed so they ran out to another store and got it for us, brought it back fixed the tire and got us on our way to Oregon. They were fast, efficient and so friendly. Very understanding too considering our huge RV was parked in middle of their parking lot! Thanks guys you are awesome. read more

i have been a loyal customer of JUST TIRES for the last 10 years. i've bought several sets of 4 tries from this location plus a Life of the Tires balance and the tire rotation contract as well. managers have changed every so often and so has the quality of service. But when i have come for service all has been generally very good, My current tires are on a lifetime service agreement and i make sure to get them balanced and rotated every 6 months. 11/06/2016: dropped into Just Tires for a wheel balance, tire rotation and to check the alignment. I've bought the last four sets of tire from these guys for all my vehicles. I've always gotten a competitive price on all my purchases. Their mounting and balancing is a little high, but they offer lifetime tire rotation with purchase. (Not sure if the balancing is lifetime) They also give you something like 6 months or 6,000 mile wheel alignment warranty, which means that as long as you check it before that they'll redo it for free if its off. I've always bought their road hazard protection and its come in handy many times. Now for the bad: They do try to upsell you sometimes, but aren't to pushy. Their road hazard warranty is now 36 months, not the life of the tread. If your wheel alignment is off and creates an uneven wear pattern it voids the warranty. They won't patch tires with miss alignment issues and you have to stand your ground sometimes to get them to honor the warranties. The Good: I've had many tires fixed and replaced under the road hazard warranty. They've taken care of me 15 mins before closing with no complaints. They check the wheel balance, air pressure, wear pattern when they rotate my tires and don't make me wait to long. They have good knowledge regarding their different tires. I'd recommend this place to anyone, but would advise to do your homework before buying. The people are nice, but its a business. read more

I initially was going to give them a good rating, but they tried to rip me off. I had a flat tire with a piece of metal in it, they said it couldn't be fixed and I would have to get a new tire that costs around $170. My husband took it to BIG O TIRES, they fixed it for $19.99. Got a nail in a tire and a side buble on another, JUST TIRES in La Cañada quoted me almost $600.00 for (2) 225/40/18 high performance tires. I said "excuse me?, I bought all 4 plus balancing, alignment, free lifetime nitrogen fills and nail patching for $400".... The attendant said: "let me guess american tire". I said "no discount tire"... he then had the nerve to say outloud in front of 3 other customers "same shit".... I left. I just got to discount tire in Pasadena, not only they are going to replace 2 tires with the same high performance tires but they are doing it for $50 since the initial $400 also included "road hazard insurance" so the 2 tires are covered and I'm just paying labor. I'm not saying "don't go to Just tires", but "Discount tires" not only has a better price for the same product but also customer service without an attitude or profanity. read more

Was referred here by HAR Towing and called and came in without an appointment for a slow leak in one of my tires. My first ever visit to a Just Tires location and got a courtesy tire inspection. It was only $19.95 for the repair / patch and I was in and out in 30 minutes. I couldn't have asked for a better experience -- no BSing, no upselling. Being a female, I'm always hesitant to go into any mechanic or repair shop solo for fear of being taken advantage of for my lack of knowledge in a male-dominated industry, so THANK YOU for the quick repair and the straightforward service. read more

I had the greatest experience at this La Cañada Just Tires. I usually don't write reviews but this stores manager, Steve, was so knowledgeable and friendly. I was able to go in and out quickly with an alignment and 2 brand new tires with no problems. Came here a few weeks ago for some new tires. The staff looked underwhelmed, bored with nothing to do. Not their fault I guess. Service was quick. Was in and out within an hour, even when they were missing the fourth tire and had to drive out to pick it up from a warehouse. Pricing is pretty straight forward.... kind of. The price that rang up was a little more than what I was quoted for on the phone. The clerk asked suspiciously if I didn't want the extended road service and took it off the bill. After paying and driving about 20 miles my tire pressure indicator goes on. I figure they didn't properly inflate the tires. After a quick stop at the gas station to fill my tires, things are ok. Cool place, adequate service as far as this kind of place goes. Would come back, but wouldn't highly recommend them if I was asked to. read more

My check engine light and temperature icon came on just as I was approaching the "Just Tires" La Canada/Flintridge location. I pulled in and Steve and Francisco took care of me. They checked under the hood and determined the oil was 2 quarters low and the coolant was empty, Francisco added the two-quarters of oil and topped off the coolant bottle so I could make it home. It's nice to know that our community has the staff working at Just Tires. Thank you, again. read more

Try to get a service but couldn't get it. I stopped by the shop in the morning for a service. A front desk person told me I would have wait for a couple hour. Then he told me to came back in the afternoon between 2:30 pm - 3 pm. I asked for making an appointment. He said no need he would squeeze me it. I went back around 3 pm. Another front desk said he couldn't take my car in. I didn't have an appointment and there were another cars before mine. Then a person I spoke in the morning show up, but he didn't keep his word. He said he couldn't do anything and told me to wait with no estimate time. I have waited for awhile then decided to leave since I have to do other business. It's almost 4 pm. The guy saw me leaving he came over and told me to come back later. The shop will close at 6pm. So when I done my business I came back around 5 pm. The same guy told me I came too late. I supposed to come before 4 pm. It is very disappointed the way they worked. I am not happy with their customer services. This is my first time and probably will be my last time. read more

I've gone to these guys periodically in the past for oil changes. Each time they have given excellent attention and quality service. On one occasion, I was on my way to work and my tire was quickly loosing air due to nails from the freeway. I drove straight to them and they were able to help me immediately with a new tire and minimal wait time. My last visit for an oil change is why I'm writing this review. They didn't have my oil filter in stock when I called, but they ordered it and told me to come down in a couple of hours. Once again, my visit was met with friendliness, prompt service, and very good prices for the oil change and replacement wiper blades (be sure to use the mailer coupons). The manager there is Hovick Kirakosian. He answered all my questions and everything I requested was "no problem" to him. He makes it simple to maintain my car. read more

Have had the worst luck with the tires I have purchased from them and with the replacement warranty they try to find every reason not to honor it and want to charge more than any other location for the warranty work. I've been getting new tires here for ~10 years. They are usually very helpful. Before Just Tires, I had burned through a round of crap-tires from a Discount Tires outlet - the back tires were totally worn through to the point of shredding on the freeway within 2 months of their purchase and after paying for alignment. After going back to Discount Tires to complain, they pulled the same stunt AGAIN, only giving me more expensive but equally crappy tires. Because I drive a sports car that pulls a lot of torque, I need high-quality tires that are well-aligned. This simple request was beyond the capabilities of the specific Discount Tires location. Long story short, I went to Just Tires, and employees there were dumbfounded by the tires that Discount Tires had selected - totally inappropriate for my car model. Just Tires hooked me up with a different tire make, and I now get 5+ years of wear out of them. I love the fact that I can stop at any Just Tires to have tire pressure checked and filled!!! I am deducting a star because during my last tire change, I called in advance to check if the tire make/sizes were available, and after receiving confirmation and booking an appointment, I arrived to find that they didn't in fact have the tires. So, I ended up having to wait several hours with my car already on the lift while they tracked down a tire set from another Just Tires location. Aside from this snafu, I have only good things to say about them. read more

Thanks for NOT filling up enough air in my pregnant wife's tires. She went there this morning to have air filled in her tires since they were all low; averaged at 34-35 psi each. The technician took her keys and drove it up to fill them up with air. I got back in my car and started driving back to work to find out they did NOT put enough air in my tires. They filled it enough to just have the light off; at 40 PSI instead of 45 and 48 PSI. I can't believe someone would do this. I will NEVER go there again. read more

I've been a customer of Just Tires for many years at the Pasadena shop, but on this occasion I had no choice and needed an emergency tire repair. Basically, the risk of driving on a flat tire would've cost me a new rim for the Porsche 911. To my surprise, the attendant that helped me get back on the road was one of the guys from the Pasadena shop, Hovick (I think that's how to spell his name). Lastly, it was a painless experience! This was my first experience with Just Tires, and only the second time in my life I've bought new tires. Brian asked me about my driving habits, and steered me to the cheapest tires I could get. I only wanted two new front tires, which were bald and one had a slow leak, but Brian pointed out that my other tires were cracked and needed replacing soon. I am getting too old to do oil change in my cars and I took it to this place. Mindful of the story I heard years ago about what a Jiffy Lube shop did (didn't do) for their customers, I made some marks on the oil filter inside my car and took a photo before I went to this shop. After they were done I opened the hood in their parking lot and checked the oil filter. The marks I made were still on the filter which means that they did not change the filter. When I talked to the mechanic, he insisted that he changed the filter until I showed him my photo. He then changed the filter but I still am not sure if he put in a new one. read more
