I love this tire shop! I was looking for some tires last minute for a Christmas present, and every tire shop I contacted said they were out of the tires that I needed. I called and spoke with Mario, he was able to order the tires I needed and have them available the same day! Everyone at the shop that I dealt with was very friendly, helpful, and honest. They even notified me about a problem with my suspension that needed to be corrected, my mechanic seemed to have missed the issue. I will definitely return to this location! read more

My last few visits Mario has taken care of my Scion and BMW tire maintenance. I've been for a tire rotations, new tires, and a puncture repair. This is one of the better Just Tire locations. I paid under $300 for 2 tires and road hazard insurance. That is similar to my trusty Just Tires in Tustin who are trustworthy. But the worst Just Tires is in West LA on Sepulveda. That manager tried to up sell me during a rotation then gave me a price $100 higher than my usual Tustin location! After haggling I got the price down it was still $30 higher. What gives with that?) After that I almost switched to America's Tires, but Mario in Glendale seems like a nice guy (and he makes the coffee during for the waiting room.) read more

I'm not sure what's going on at this establishment. I used to like going to this place for my tire needs, despite it being a little out of the way, because customer service was extremely helpful and friendly. It was anything but this time. They acted like they didn't want my business, especially their associate Robert. He was very rude, treating me like a number rather than a client, even though I didn't question anything or give him reason to be rude. I even asked him honestly if I needed a new set of tires because I know I'm close to their expiration and I had to get a tire patched anyway. Additionally, he had problems locating my wheel lock and I told him where I remember putting it last. He said he looked but didn't see it, and so I panicked trying to find it. He looked again and later called me to tell me they found it. Go figure. And when I asked for it back, he said they put it back where they found it and completely dismissed me. And did they? Nope! I searched for 10 minutes trying to find it ended up being in another place. Getting my tires replaced and fixed isn't worth this headache, so I'm just finding a new repair shop closer to my house. read more

They've helped me out through even some of the worst of my car problems and made sure I was okay when I leave. Mario is my main man. He gives off a convivial vibe and treats you like family. He will give you options depending on your needs and/or budget, offer the best deals he possibly can, and will ingratiate himself with you and make sure you leave with a smile on your face. Went in for a new tire. The guy working there ran over my hubcap so when I came back to pick up my car they informed me I would have to come back to replace it when the order came in. Came back another worker replaced the hubcaps. Days later 3 of the 4 hubcaps they replaced had fallen off. No one has returned my call, I keep calling them to follow up on their mistake. Spoke to Robert who was extremely rude and had no customer service skills. I will be reaching out to management but so far my experience here has been horrible and I have never seen such horrible work with something as simple as tires. They are suppose to specialize in this!!!! Instead a lot of of money and time spent on indecent work!!! I'm disgusted. read more

I had a slow leak with a tire that had a nail in it. I went to Just Tires in Glendale as they had assisted me with a previous tire repair satisfactorily. I have also purchased tires from the La Crescenta store in the past. This time was not a good experience. My tire was relatively new in the last 6 to 8 months. The nail was at the bottom of the tire not on the side. Robert M informed that the tire was not repairable and that I had to buy a new tire. I questioned him several times regarding his insistence that I need to purchase a new tire. I relented and purchased the tire as I took Robert M at his word. I paid almost $200 for a new tire. I took the tire that needed repairing back to the original selling store in Pasadena. They told me the tire was repairable and they fixed it. It was fixed with a plug and a patch. Had the nail been on the side of the tire as Robert M insisted at Just Tires in Glendale, CA, it would not have been repairable. When I went to pick up my car at Just Tires in Glendale, CA (I had dropped the car off and went to the office), Robert M would not look me in the eyes at all. He completely avoided eye contact with me. That is when I knew that Robert M had misrepresented the truth to me about needing another tire. I will not use Just Tires ever again because I believe that this facility is not honest. That store was more interested in selling a tire as opposed to repairing a tire. That is not good customer service. Had they been honest with me I would have recommended them and used their service in the future. I will no longer do so. read more

Utter criminals here. Came in for a routine oil change, during which a coil broke and now I need an entirely new oil pan? They gave me a "temporary fix" but now I am looking at a matter of weeks before I have to pay for a huge fix. Time for a second opinion and a trustworthy mechanic (do they exist)? Another customer sitting next to me came in for a patch. Nail in the tire. Something we have all seen before. After they "looked" at it, they told him he would need a new tire. He went out to inspect the nail hole, which had now turned into a full tear in the tire. Convenient for them! Criminals. We hit a pot hole and it caused a leak on the sidewall at the rim. After going to Pep Boys which didn't have the tire we needed, we went to Just Tires in Glendale. The person at the desk, Mario, was very helpful and said that they would have the tire (a special Continential run flat) by the morning. The next morning the tire was installed but there was problem with the alignment. After getting quoted a price by Just Tires, I contacted the dealer who told quoted me a price $110 higher. Got it done at Just Tires. The people were very knowledgeable and explained exactly what the problem was and gave me the alignment documentation when I came in. My wife and I have been here several different times and always had a pleasant experience. read more

In February I went to go get a tire. It turned out that I needed new brakes and my rotors resurfaced. Jose told me a set price and how long it would take. He didn't ask me to sign anything before the job was started. When they were done with my car, they told me a different price that was twice as much from what Jose originally told me and he was nowhere to be found. Two weeks later, I hear a sound coming from my front driver side. When I went to go get it checked out somewhere else, I was told that my brakes were put on wrong. So in summary, I was charged overpriced, they did a shitty job and I feel they took advantage of me because I was a female. read more

I love Yelp. At least the otherwise powerless consumer has some basic recourse short of a law suit. I went to Just Tires Glendale on 1/23 to finally address the brake warning that had been nagging me for weeks. Going beyond their focus on tires, their website does state that they do brakes as well. I had a positive experience with them in the past - they were friendly and professional - so decided to let them have a look. Leaving the car with them in the morning, I felt confident that I was in good hands with Mario. Unfortunately it was about three hours later when I'd finally hear back from him with a diagnosis. They wanted to replace all my brakes and rotors, costing nearly $900. More than I had expected that's for sure. I'm still not sure why the rotors had to be replaced. But trusting them, and desperate to get on with my Saturday, I gave the OK to go ahead. By the time I finally got my car back, it was about six hours later and I'm out about nine hundred dollars. My Saturday was destroyed just getting brakes. Worse, when I drove the car out of their garage, my brake warning was STILL lit up. It was terribly frustrating but I assumed it would go out later when it updated. Three weeks later the brake warning I paid nearly $900 to go away was still on. So I went back. They gave me a song and dance about how my car was old (it's a 2006 BMW) and the electrical was causing it. It became clear they didn't know how to reset the light. A quick Google search on my iPhone brought the solution right up. So I had to reset it myself. Two stars instead of one because they were at least cordial. They didn't steal my car and drive it off a cliff or anything. But otherwise, watch out for these guys. read more

Had a flat tire for my other car, and wanted to drop it and pick it up couple hours later, they insisted to do it right away, within few minutes sold me a tire. After I installed the tire at home, I realized the stem on the new tire was matching with the other three tires and old, checked the invoice and there was a $3.50 charge for a new stem, called and they said you have to bring the invoice and we will credit, went there the following week, instead of apologizing, they let me feel like I'm begging for the money, and I just walked away. It is a matter of principal, they charged me for something they did not install, they had a chance to correct it, but they failed, I don't care if it is $3.50 or $350, I will not go there again, and please check your invoice and what they charge. read more

I recently bought a car from Culver City Toyota and the car salesman told me that the car had new tires and it turned out a lie. I went back to the dealer and they made me lose my time. Luckily, a man from the other dealer helped me and advise me to call Goodyear since the tires still seem to have warranty. So I did, I called Goodyear and they sent me to Just Tires to get them replaced at a discounted price. Fernando was very helpful. The service was quick, friendly and easy. Honestly, I don't know much about cars, but it is nice to know that there is still people who will take the time to explain to others about things they are experts in. I felt very comfortable and I know that I will be recommending Just Tires in Glendale to everyone. Easter Sunday and What do I wake up to? A flat tire! What a pain in the neck. I google Tire shops near me, and find only one open. Just Tires on Central Ave in Glendale. I called and let them know about my dilemma. They told me they would be able to access the flat to see if it was a slow leak (something repairable) or if the tire needed replacing. They had my tire size in-stock in case i needed to replace the whole tire. I called AAA for a tow since I didn't have a spare, when the tow driver arrived he filled the tire with air and we realized it was a slow leak. Good thing I didn't need to have it towed. I drove to Just Tires myself. Spoke with Mario who was very friendly and accommodating. Gave him my keys and by the time I ran across the street to go to Church for Easter my car was ready when I got back. $20 to repair a flat on a Sunday! Great deal, great service. We brought our car in on a Sunday afternoon. I was looking to get four tires installed for no more than $300 and explained just that when I walked in the door and spoke to the mechanic. They honored my request and my bill came out just under $285. I was thrilled having some extra change to spare. Less than an hour, closer to 30 minutes wham-bam-thank-you-mam, my car was done, new tires and all for under my budget. I gave them only four stars instead of five because perhaps the mechanic who did my tires was in so much of a hurry installing them that he forgot to tighten the valve correctly. I had a flat the next day and had to take the car in to see if there was a flat. There was not, the valve just needed to be tightened, air put in, and I was on my way. The manager who took my order was extremely courteous when I explained my dilemma and informed me he would repair the tire at absolutely no cost as they were just installed a day ago. However, I was already in my home area quite a bit of a ways from Glendale and had to take it to another Just Tires in Azusa (which is a whole another review in itself). Thank you Just Tires Glendale, you saved me $$ and your customer service was just unbeatable. I will be back. read more

Let me start this review by saying that MARIO! He is the freaking man! With a pretty sweet 'stache if I may add! I was merging onto the 2 when my tire got shredded. I requested a tow from my insurance. Long story short I was on the shoulder of the highway for 5 hours waiting to get rescued. Mind you that it was Sunday, so, all the tire shops were closed around 6. So, I had to wait til today (Monday) to get it fixed. I saw reviews on Yelp about just tired and figured why not and the price quotes I received was reasonable. I told Mario what happened yesterday and what great timing this wonderful (insert sarcasm) event had to happen! Especially since I leave for Japan tomorrow! All I could think of was my funds for Japan just dwindling by the second. Mario turned this bad experience into a great one! Well besides spending money on tires that should have waited til I came back! Haha! He recommended better tires that was $20 more and an alignment! His knowledge of products and services were on point! Well I thought so because I don't know anything about vehicle mechanics haha. So today, I finally decided to pay attention to my maintenance required signal & get an oil change, I don't live in the area but work only a mile away from here so I figured I'd just get it here. I had called around 11 to set an appointment @ 6 due to my work hours. I got there on time & I figured it would be busy and it was since I'm sure everyone else was there after work too, so I didn't expect them to attend to my car right away. The guy at the front Mario was super attentive and very nice considering he was the only guy up there helping at least 4 people at once, but unfortunately that pleasant experience didn't last long... He gave me estimated wait of a little over an hour, ok so again I took into consideration there were a lot of people there and looked like a car in each station when I pulled up so I myself added an extra 30 mins to my expected wait time... Now a little before 8 he goes out to check my car & behold.... IT HASNT EVEN BEEN TOUCHED! Still in the same spot I parked in! I was extremely upset. Now I got here @ 5:55 and left & 8:10 with nothing done. Mario apologized & offered a discount but given the time & as long as I waited it just wasn't worth it at that point. If I could only base this on costumer service I would give five stars , but thats not what I was there for... So my suggestion make them keep you updated every 30 mins to make sure it's getting done.. read more

Terrible. The guy tells me it will take an hour to do full inspection but 15 min to check the alignment only. I clearly stated that I only want the alignment checked since I'm on a rush. I signed the paperwork, he keeps me waiting for over 30 mins, says nothing tell I asked about status, comes back to tell me that it will need at least another 15-20 min because the guy that was supposed to work on it went to lunch and there is nothing he can do about it! Really!? I understand that you are busy and overloaded with work, but at least let me know that you didn't even start working on my car and will take more than anticipated. You don't just keep me waiting and expect me to understand! Terrible experience. read more

I can trust these guys will not steer you wrong. My last visit I was helped by Mario and he kept it all honest with me and called out repairs that I knew I needed to have done. He didn't force me into the repairs and in fact helped me work out a way to afford to get through it since the repairs weren't ones that I thought I would take care of during my visit. Excellent service! I was driving in the area when my check engine and warning lights came on. It was 6pm. On Labor Day weekend. I had no idea what could be wrong and concerned I wouldn't be able to find an answer by the end of the day or even by the end of the weekend. Lucky for me, my car was having trouble in this area. When I called Just Tires, they told me they could help me right away. And they did! Jose greeted me with a smile and a firm handshake. He really knew what he was talking about when he informed me that I needed a coolant flush and he made me feel comfortable about the process the entire time. I'm happy to report that chivalry is alive and well at Just Tires in Glendale. After a perfectly miserable day, topped off by an un-drivable and unexpectedly hard-to-replace run flat tire, my Mini Cooper had to be towed from Norwalk to Glendale at 8:30 pm. My husband called Terry at Just Tires and was reassured, "Don't worry, even if she gets here after 9:00 when we close, I'll wait for her." What?! Unheard of. Just doesn't happen. But it did. Terry and his co-worker not only waited past closing time, they stayed even longer to diagnose the problem and print out estimates for two options for us to consider overnight. Before my husband drove me home, we extended our deepest appreciation, and Terry said "It's all part of the job." What a genuinely nice guy, and knowledgeable, too. Exactly who any business owner would want on their team. His co-workers who took care of us the next day were also terrific. So now I've got new tires with a warranty, but I took away something far more valuable from this experience--the comfort in knowing there are still exceptional people on this planet who care about helping others and are willing to go out of their way to be of service.
