Excellent service! I was driving in the area when my check engine and warning lights came on. It was 6pm. On Labor Day weekend. I had no idea what could be wrong and concerned I wouldn't be able to find an answer by the end of the day or even by the end of the weekend. Lucky for me, my car was having trouble in this area. When I called Just Tires, they told me they could help me right away. And they did! Jose greeted me with a smile and a firm handshake. He really knew what he was talking about when he informed me that I needed a coolant flush and he made me feel comfortable about the process the entire time. Tonight I took my car in to Just Tires at 6 p.m. Something had started dragging in the undercarraige. I had the same problem a couple months ago and I took it in to them and they fixed it within half an hour. I've used them many times in the past. They are usually fair and do a good job. My go to spot. But tonight when I took it in I dealt with Jose whom I've never had help me before. I told him the problem and he tells me "Well you've got some time right? I should have it taken care at the end of the night". I say "ok cool". I'm happy to leave it there and come back and pick it up in the morning. I know it's late and there are other people ahead of me. But if it's going to get fixed...even better!! 2 and a half hours go by. They close at 8 pm. It's 8:30. The last customer besides me gets there car and leaves. I'm thinking that my car is the last one they are working on and should be ready any second. Jose comes out from behind a door in his street clothes. I'm thinking..."that's weird." He says to me " Come on, let's go see what's wrong with your car." Now I'm kinda alarmed. It hasn't been fixed yet? He takes me in to the actual garage. All the way down to the last stall where my car is. He pushes a button and my car begins to rise. After a couple minutes I can see underneath that it hasn't been fixed at all! He looks at it and asks me "So, what do you want to do with it?" I'm shocked. I say "What do I want to do with it?" "Look Jose, I don't know anything about cars. My car is broken. So I'm taking it to a professional that knows how to fix it. YOU tell ME what needs to be done." He says "well we don't do body work". I say "well why didn't you tell me that in the first place so I didn't have to wait 2 and a half hours?" He says "I don't like your attitude" and starts lowering my car. He pulls it out into the parking lot and tells me to leave. I ask him for the name of his manager and he does not comply. One of the most unprofessional encounters I've ever experienced. Mario was great. He is friendly and took care of me right away. However the tires he recommended for my car were not the right ones. I have a VW Jetta Tdi, and of course I don't need tires with W speed rating (up to 168 mph...). The recommendation for this car is an H, what usually means cheaper tires... According to him I needed the W because the tires on the other axle were W, what it's not technically correct. Also they charged me for the road hazard protection, when I didn't ask for it and nobody told me I was being charged for it. Due to all of that, I think I overpaid $100... Furthermore, the new tires should be always mount on the rear axle. I changed the front tires, and nobody mention it. This is an important safety measure to avoid hydroplaning. As I said, Mario was great, but for selling such an important part of the car, with safety implications, you also need the knowledge. read more

We bought tires and after about 14 days, one of the tires came apart on the side. There was no apparent marks where contact could of been made and also a perfect crease where the tire failed. The staff was unhelpful and only tried to up sell an extended warranty after they failed to respect the warranty of a tire that was almost brand new. They don't stand behind their products and good luck getting them to honor any warranty. read more

He didn't hard sell anything and when I did decide to have a fuel injection cleaning, he discounted it $20 and then also threw in a free tire rotation, which I needed. Expensive and not trustworthy. I spent over $700 on new tires there recently, and went in today because one of my tires was signaling low air. First I was told that the tire wasn't leaking - that there wasn't really a problem - and then they found a nail. They charged me $35 to fix that, and they lost my little Chevy icon that goes in the middle of the tire. I didn't notice until I got home and my husband, who parks next to me every day, asked what happened to it. This is easily THE best tire shop or any vehicle related shop I've ever dealt with. If I could rate it higher than a 5 I would. I was shopping around for tires but everyone I spoke to either wanted to rip me off or gave me the impression that answering a few questions was a burden to them. Until I ran across Tony, as soon I spoke to him I wanted to do business with him. He gave me the best deal out of any other place I called. He's very knowledgeable and actually wants to help you. I was in and out in a couple hours. Update: So a few weeks after I left this shop, I realized that they STOLE my tire pressure monitor sensors off my car AND the weights off my rims. It didn't cross my mind to update the review right away because I was able to have everything fixed and back to normal through the dealership. The helpfulness, ease and speed of my visit to the Glendale Just Tires was outstanding. I came in to the shop late afternoon with things pretty busy, but Mario walked out with me to my car within thirty seconds of me approaching the front desk. He diagnosed and solved the issue and then took additional time to fix a dud wheel on my baby stroller. He is one of the good guys. A credit to his company and, as far as I'm concerned, to people in general. When I lived mid-city, I was a fan of the West Hollywood/Beverly JT and now I live further East, it's great to know the service I got in Hollywood is duplicated at the Glendale branch. There's no up-sell (the opposite, if possible) and it's a great feeling to trust the guys at a service station when you need guys at a service station. I've been buying from Just tires because they match any other store's price. I had a place that I used to work near in Irwindale that had great prices, but since I'm not working in the area now, I just give them a call for whatever kind of tires I need, then call up Just Tires. Last time I got tires was on my old car. I'd already gone through a set of cheap Chinese tires on it, which lasted several years. In an effort to get better mileage, I opted for a set of Goodyear high MPG tires, after doing the math on how much I'd save in a couple years if I only got 1/2 a mile per gallon better, so I paid a premium for those. WORST TIRES EVER!!! DOWNRIGHT DANGEROUS!!! I think the theory to make 'em get better mileage was just go to a harder rubber compound. They would lock up under just moderate braking, slide on any moderate cornering, and break loose on quick starts. Worst of all, I got worse mileage with them than the cheapies I'd had before!!! Fortunately, Goodyear has a satisfaction guarantee policy, but I had to jump through a bunch of hoops, involving at least two trips over to Just tires, if I recall. Finally they agreed to replace them with another set of Goodyears, but they were something like $80 more... PLUS all the mount and balance and disposal fees, over $200 if I recall. In the meantime, I had a set of tires I'd put wife's car that were fairly new, and they said they'd transfer the road hazard & rotation if they put them on another car. I put two of those on the back end of another car, but they, of course, won't honor anything if they can't rotate a full set front to back. A few years later, (with the stipulation that I need to move a whole set of four from one vehicle to another to retain the road hazard and rotation perks) when I get a replacement for my first mentioned car (which had developed engine trouble), I swap the whole set of the by now close to $800 (or maybe more) worth of overpriced but decent Goodyears (which, ironically, got better mileage than the FuelMax ones they replaced) onto the newest, a clone of the first, only a couple years newer. 5,000 miles or so later, I take it over to Just tires to have them rotated, and now, even though I've got the whole set of the exact same tires, even on a virtually identical car, now they won't honor their warranty. Guess where I'm not buying my tires from anymore. read more

Had an excellent experience here- especially with Mario! He was so incredibly helpful, honest, and fast with my car. Came in expecting at most two new tires, but was admittedly convinced that more work needed to be done. Everything was well explained beforehand and I never felt pressured or confused. Ended up spending a pretty penny on 4 new tires, alignment, new brake pads, new sensor, oil change, and window cleaner. Got new tires. I bought everything they suggested, including tire insurance. First, they told me that it would be 15 bucks--but it turned out to be 60 bucks (15 bucks per tire). Second, when my tire got a puncture, I took it in and was assessed a 38 dollar fee. Why? For installation and to "reinsure" my tire. What? Who gets insurance and then actually has to pay out of pocket when they need to use it? It turns out that they were supposed to have explained all this fine print to me: they didn't. read more

The actual worst tire shop I have ever dealt with periods, and usually tire shops are not great in general so that says a lot. This one however takes the cake. Take my work car in at 930 am. He says take a seat I'll start working on paperwork. 45 minutes go by me sitting there and they start on "paperwork". I said I'll come back and pick up later they say 3 pm it will be ready. 245pm rolls around and they say they need it an extra day cause they are backed up. If you know you are backed up don't call the person 15 minutes before they are supposed to pick it up to tell them you haven't started. Or tell them up front that you are too busy to take it. The manager who was unshaved and looked unkempt looks like an ugly version of Danny Trejo (Danny Trejo ain't exactly good looking so this is saying a lot!) couldn't even find the time to check with me what the problem was. He saw me looking at him and just proceeded to walk away and go inside his office. When I got to his office, he then proceeded to walk away and go back to the service bays! I mean, what an A-HOLE! When he finally had the decency to come up to me and ask what the problem was (I just stood there for some time from giving up catching up with him), he told me that it would take an hour and a half because all of his people were going out to lunch. I mean, for one simple tire fix that would take 10 minutes to fix, you would make me wait an hour and a half?! This guy basically is screaming "take your business elsewhere because we don't need it!"
