After dinner on Broadway, we stopped by JWB Grill at Margaritaville for a nightcap, and we're so glad we did! Our bartender, Andrew, was exceptional. He was attentive, personable, and made some of the most delicious cocktails we've had. His friendly service and genuine hospitality left a lasting impression on us. The live music was another highlight of the evening. Unfortunately, I didn't catch the performer's name, but he mentioned he was filling in for someone else. What an incredible talent! He created such a great atmosphere and made the experience even more enjoyable. If we're ever back in Nashville, JWB Grill will definitely be one of our must-visit spots. Server we had to keep flagging down to help us and it wasn't busy at n there at 9:30 at night on a Monday. I asked i'm out the pork chop. She swear it was good when it came. I was scared. Why was it so black? She says it was that seasoning you'll like it. It tasted like burnt coffee was the dry rub. Yes I sent it back and just got a burger. Maybe laugh was when she said what's wrong with it and I said look at it. It speaks for itself. You couldn't even cut off the dry rub. It was cooked into the meat unbearable. Came to Nashville for my girlfriend's bachelorette weekend and we stayed at the Margaritaville Hotel. We had dinner at the JWB Grill on our first night. Great food! JWB Grill was a great little find in Nashville, tucked right into the Margaritaville Resort. The staff were wonderful and really knew their way around the menu and the drink list. We started with a few of their seasonal drinks, and they were all made just right without being too overbearing or sugary. For food, we started the table off with the jalapeño deviled eggs and the spinach and artichoke dip. Both were really appetizing and served as a solid start to the meal. When it came time for the main course, my wife and I went with the wagyu skirt steak and the huli huli chicken since our waitress recommended them. We weren't disappointed one bit. Both dishes were full of flavor and seasoned perfectly. If we had to pick a favorite between the two, we actually think the huli huli chicken won out, so definitely give that a try if you go. The rest of the night was just as good. They had live music playing, which was one of the main reasons I wanted to check this place out in the first place, and the overall ambiance was very cute. It was a great experience all around, and I will definitely head back there whenever I'm back in Nashville. read more

I throughly enjoy my meal at JWB grill. Friendly staff that were very welcoming. I really like the outdoor seating with the heated patio even though it wasn't cold at all (at least for a person from the north east). I ordered the breakfast burger and I was not ready for the size of the burger. The cheese sauce was a great addition and really brought the burger over the top for me. Of course the burger meat was flavorful and juicy. The home fries were excellent with great texture and crisp. The next time I'm in Nashville I will definitely be returning here. read more

I visited a few nights back and when I went to tip the artist, he said that I had to scan the QR code for his tip. When that happened, I found out that I was being charged a processing fee for tipping him. I asked the artist why and he said that's just the way it is now!!! Well let me tell you what, I think that's just fucked up that I'm being charged a processing fee to tip the artist. To me, the venue is fucking the people that come on a regular basis to listen to artist play their hearts out. My question is, why are you charging a fee when other venues don't??! If this doesn't stop, I'll take my business elsewhere and if anyone asks me about your establishment, I'll simply be honest and say that you have shady practices and end up screwing the patrons.if I could rate this place no stars I would for the way they are treating the artists. read more

Horrible waitress with attitude was unknowledgable about the combination meats in the burger. Shareable margarita comes in a large glass, not a pitcher and was really too sour to drink without adding sweeteners for all three of us. We asked for a pitcher so we could pour it into three separate glasses and they don't have one pitcher in that entire restaurant besides the one they use for water! But from what we did experience Shelby the bartender made the best Bloody Mary she ever tasted and the pink lady with the dragon tattoo drink I got was very good too . Should have known as we stepped up to the hostess stand and waited 5 min for someone to come seat us. The place was mostly empty. Host said they were not serving alcohol as we were seated. Server was friendly and prompt with menus. I ordered the smoked chicken salad and my companion ordered the wagu steak sandwich with fries. My salad was among the worst I've ever had out. Too much dressing, too much of the same type lettuce. Just a poorly put together salad. My companion's sandwich was smothered in cheese. Too much cheese and she thought the sandwich was too salty. I tried half of her sandwich after removing half the cheese. Taste was ok and so was the bun, but the meat was not all that tender. If that's wagu, then...no thank you. We are a family of 4, and while prices are already high in Nashville, the dinner/dessert here was pretty pricey. Dinner and dessert cost us over $300.00. Deviled eggs were very tasty. We ordered a steak which at $40.00, and it was great! The rainbow trout was good but there were bones. The greens had good flavor. Dessert was alright. We went to the bar around 7pm last night. They referred us to their upstairs restaurant (Fin's) because they said it had more food options. The menu did have more options, but was primarily made up of burgers, tacos, bbq, and appetizers. There was a couple at the bar. The vibe could be cool as it was open air next to a pool. It took the bartender/server about 10 minutes to address us. He was friendly and personable. We ordered burgers, bbq sandwich, and chicken tacos at the recommendation of the server. The burgers were great. The bbq was served warm and the meat was dry. Flavor was good. The chicken tacos lacked flavor. The pineapple salsa had little flavor and the pineapples tasted watered down. In summary, the tacos were NOT good. In summary, I would not recommend this restaurant with all the nearby restaurants that have great food and a cool vibe. read more

After experiencing the craziness (but fun) of Broadway, it was a welcome relief to relax at the JWB Grill. Although I can't review the food, I can tell you that the drinks and atmosphere are spot on! The atmosphere is cozy yet a bit upscale and the cocktails are delicious! We ordered a few tasty drinks, grabbed seats on the patio, and listened to a little live music. Drinks were a little pricey, so we did limit ourselves to one each, but they tasted great and were very well made. Definitely a great way to end a day in Nashville! read more

Fantastic beautiful restaurant. Fairly new hotel that was just opened 2019 before covid hit. Restaurant itself just opened 3months ago. The hotel place felt tropical and beachy. I have never once in my life had to walk out of a restaurant after ordering the food after such a rude comment made by waiter Tony. We had ordered an appetizer and then I went to order my main course and he said "you sure ??? That's a lot of food". I said excuse me ??? He said that's a lot of food you sure you need all that ? There was even live music which is always a plus in Music City! We started out with cocktails that were super smooth. No kickback which means they were made well. For our starters: Pimento Cheese Hushpuppies and Spinach and Artichoke Dip. Guys. They were amazing. The Hushpuppies... omg. I don't even like pimento cheese and these were so so good. We split a chicken Caesar salad for our entree and they even brought it out on two separate plates! So kind!!! Then ended the night with delicious carrot cake.
