Welcome post

I loved this little home restaurant! I had been wanting to go there for a while now and I couldn't stop thinking about it. Finally I went on a whim, packed up my kids and headed over, I was pleasantly surprised by the way it was set up! Located in a home right off the intersection of saticoy and Wilbur, I spotted the lights indicating this was the spot! You walk right in and are greeted by I'm assuming mother and daughter, clean area welcomed by the k fried bananas decor and then a Vietnamese souvenir type of wall, all legitimate. It was a beautiful homage to their homeland. I was semi prepared to order because of the reviews on Yelp. I started with 2 chicken phos, since it is only available on Saturdays , I had to take advantage besides, my son loves it, it was very homey and delicious, next, I couldn't wait to get my hands on those wings, those wings alone would make me come back for more. So crispy and garlicky, just superb! Nice touch with the jalapeños that sauce is amazing compliments well with the rice that comes with the combo. Hainan chicken was also something we wanted to try so we got that as well! We also tried the shaken beef, decent but I think the winner of the night has to be the wings. Thai tea was great too and of course we had to try the fried banana nuggets. We had that with Nutella and it was amazing as well! Nice and hot and crunchy my kids devoured it! Food was delicious but a little costly, spent about $100 will return for the favorites

Came back for another round. They added more tables for seating. This time we ate here since it was perfect weather outside. We got our usual fried bananas and tried the chicken wings, garlic noodles, and shaken beef. I also ordered some Banh bot loc. This place is such a hidden gem. Family is very sweet and we enjoyed everything. I was only able to take a photo of the chicken wings because we devoured everything else!

Are you a local in Reseda? Please, try this place! They put in front of the house a cute patio to sell fried bananas, typical in Vietnam. The is a virtual DJ on tv playing Vietnamese music, the owners are really nice people. And the price is great, affordable. The banana with Nutella is delicious. We will back to try more.

Wow!! What a hidden gem. We were looking for places to pick up some dessert after dinner. I check on yelp that lead me to K. Fried Bananas. It's crazy because we drive pass it so many time and didn't realize there actually shop there. It's literally at a house. They have an outdoor kitchen set up in front/ drive with a couple of tables. They specialize on fried banana of course and I'm down for some good fried bananas. Besides their fried banana they have a few Vietnamese dishes and drinks as well. They also have different specials. Check the specials board. We have tried the following: Fried Bananas- 5/5 Stars- This was absolutely fantastic. The batter was crispy and light. The banana was sweet as well. Garlic Shrimp with Noodles- Who doesn't love Vietnamese home cooking. This was so flavorful and the shrimp was fresh. I recommend getting it with rice so you can soak up all the garlic sauce. It's $2 more for the noodles. Everything is made fresh to order even the fried bananas so please be patient. Service was so sweet and friendly. They only accept cash, Zelle and Venmo. If you're looking for some delicious fried bananas I highly recommend stopping by here. They're open from 6pm-10pm. Tue-Sat Until our next visit.

Delicious food! The fried banana is definitely worth it, and is easy to share with a crowd! Ambiance is set up to try to give you the street side food cart experience! Service is as very fast and friendly! Highly recommended, and we'll be back!

The fried banana nuggets are seriously addicting. I do prefer them over the giant fried banana. Perfectly golden batter and crispy on the outside, with a hot, soft, naturally sweet center. This time I placed two orders of the mini nuggets. I also tried the shaken beef with garlic noodles, and it was delicious. The beef was flavorful and tender, and the garlic noodles paired with it so well was super tasty! Overall, if you're willing to wait a bit for freshly made food, this spot is absolutely worth it. I'll definitely be back, especially for those fried bananas.

This place is amazing! From the delicious food, cozy vibes, and great customer service, I highly recommend this place. Such a gem in the valley! I tried the butter garlic shrimp and hainam chicken (only available on saturdays) and they are just exploding with flavors. The fried bananas are crispy and crunchy, yet its non greasy and light, perfect snack! For drinks, green thai tea is our go to! Its floral and creamy and just the right amount of sweetness. If you like calamansi, the coco calamansi refresher is good too! They use their calamansi in their garden and the drink has strips of coconuts and jackfruit. Will definitely be back again to try their other menu items! They take venmo/zelle for payment.

This place is truly a gem - a peek into what street food life is like in vietnam! The food stall, lanterns, the plastic stools, small tables (and large).. so charming! The owner has a green thumb too - sitting amongst all the greenery and fresh fruits was certainly the change of scenery we needed living in LA county. Decently affordable prices and yummy food: - Fish Sauce Chicken Wings $12: well marinaded, crisped, and sizeable wings! lalalove the strong garlic flavor. - Green Thai Tea w Calamansi $6: refreshing, tart, and tasty - Cafe Sua Da $6 - Banana Nuggets $5: subtle undertones of coconut. Perfect slight crisp on the outside and chew on the inside. so yummy! I do think you get more bang for the buck with the larger one, but these are easier to eat. We easily found street parking at around 7pm on a Tuesday. Decent pace of people - there was almost another party aside from us in the one hour or so we were there. The owner/chef speaks viet well - she came from VN at the age of 14 in the early 1990s. She's very sweet - she hooked it up w samples of the banana nuggets. She takes venmo and zelle.

What a cute hidden gem! This is on someone's house property and what a creative and cute atmosphere they've created! Feels like the night markets I truly miss in Asia. They specialize in Vietnamese street food/drinks and other southeast Asian goodies. They make their food to order. I only tried the sweet stuff but can't wait to return for their savory dishes.

Went to get our regular Nutella fried banana order but left with full and happy stomachs after trying the crispy garlic wings with crispy garlic noodles!! The crisp on both dishes was so satisfying and the taste was so comforting and tasty. I loved the hefty amount of garlic and onions on the noodles as well as the jalapeños. We also tried the honeycomb cake and it was so yummy. I loved the fun chewy texture of it and it paired deliciously with coconut milk. We were served quickly and given great recommendations by the wonderful women running the shop! Loved the lighting and decorations as well as the cute corgis you might get a chance to see. Excited to come back in the future to try more of these amazing homemade dishes. I recommend eating there while your food is fresh and hot!!

Parking: located at the corner with a "k fried banana" sign in front, easy to spot! Parking anywhere near the street Service: customer service was great. The workers were very friendly and helped me decide what to order. There was so many good options! They also had two cute corgis :) I got the pan fried rice cake, fried banana, corn milk, and house special wing. Each item was delicious and well worth the price. I will be coming back and recommending to others! I absolutely adore the interior design and there's a good amount of seating

I had driven by a few times and always wanted to check it out. Glad I found a chance today to finally sample their "banana nuggets", which stood out to me when I browsed the menu. Stopped by on a Saturday night. Curbside parking was easy and only a few feet away. Spot was well-lit and inviting. It's an intimate vibe with just a few tables. We got fire pit seating! Kelly the owner/chef was very welcoming and attentive. We ordered spring rolls, eggs rolls, banana nuggets, and the fried Nutella banana. Every single bite was soo good, made fresh on the spot. The spring rolls came with house-made peanut sauce and it was the best peanut sauce I've ever had. We will be back to try more of the menu. We loved it. Kelly is great. 5 stars!

Cozy Vietnamese restaurant in a plaza with decent parking. I came here because I saw they have bun…read morecha hanoi and was glad I didn't have to drive all the way to OC! The place itself is not that big, maybe 8 tables throughout? They looked short staffed because the person cleaning up the tables was also the person taking the orders and bringing the food, while it seemed like only one person was working in the kitchen. Nonetheless, service was good and the wait was worth the quality. They've got some other viet staples like banh beo and banh xeo which I have to try at a later time. We ended up getting the fried calamari as an appetizer and it was surprisingly good like Italian restaurant quality, and of course eggrolls. The eggrolls were fresh and crispy and I appreciated that they actually give you a lot of lettuce and herbs to wrap with them. For the mains we got the bun cha Hanoi and bun thit nuong. I think without the appetizers the portion sizes were a little smaller than I would've hoped for but the taste of both were good. This place is a quaint, little hole in the wall with quality, authentic Vietnamese food that exceeds expectations.
