Overall the experience here was disappointing. Our food was rushed out about 1-3 minutes after ordering; though that's not a terrible thing -- we were surprised by the small portions. When wanting to order more food, our waiter made a comment.. saying " ohh so you're hungry huh?" We chuckled but mentioned that we didn't realize portions were so small. Staff also unfortunately got our drink order wrong, charging us for an additional $13 frozen margarita. We really tried to give this place a chance, we were seated in front of a very sunny open window and made it obvious that it was sort of hard to see the menu -- the waiter did not act to move down the window screen until another woman mentioned it was distracting. Overall, the food has great flavor but portions are tiny and the menu is a bit overpriced. We had a wonderful experience. Friday night just before sunset and because of the view, it was crowded, but more exciting than overwhelming. We had fresh margaritas made from scratch in front of us. The drinks were perfect, with just the right amount of booze and premium ingredients. We also had guacamole, which was light and full of flavor. The salsa was fresh, although nondescript. My wife had cod tacos, which she loved. I had the rice bowl with the cod, and it was (no embellishment) fantastic. We closed out the evening sharing a piece of delicious "tres leche trifle." The owners also own the magnificent Japanese restaurant in Sag Harbor, Sen, and although I'm certain by reading some of the reviews that because K Pasa is a new restaurant they will continue ironing out the kinks, this will become a Hampton's go-to classic in no time. We thought it was good. They did a lot with the interior and it's very interesting with many more tables with a view, something that is rare in the Hampton's. Yes, the tacos were small, and we were warned they were by the waiter, but they were reasonably priced and excellent. The black bean humus was very good and the "chips" are cool and tasty. KPasa however, deserves an applause and a stellar review. This restaurant is simply awesome. Food is really good, tasty and fun. I'm not an expert on Mexican food, but their guac is fresh, perfectly chunky without being overwhelmingly limey. Margaritas are on spot, and the bartender will work his magic to make it as smooth, or stingy as you'd like it. The haloumi taco is delish, and innovative at the same time. The views, location and atmosphere are fantastic, and the place is visually very pleasing. What truly makes KPasa a place to visit three + times a week, is the people at KPasa. They remember you, they go out of their way to get you the better table, they talk to the bartender if you are fussy about your tequilas, they rush your meal if you are in the rush, they will go out their way to make you happy. EVERYTHING is expensive, rent, labor and raw ingredients then compound it by a 12 week summer season. Yes it's pricey but the food is delicious, innovative and service is fast. Went with my kids. There is no kids menu because everything is essentially bite size and a la carte. Ordering is easy. The tacos are bite size, come out in a matter of minutes and are flavorful combinations. So excited for the staff at K Pasa. They turned an area outside into a very cute outdoor dining room during this messed up Covid 19 era. Our waiter was very attentive and personable. The food was really good. Great quac, really good salsa and amazing tacos- fish-chicken Tinoctopus- lamb... all very very good. The only reason for 4 stars as opposed to 5 is because when we got our "check" we were actually given the hand held machine the waiter uses to take the order. On it was the total bill displayed. The waiter stands there with you as you sign and give tip on the machine. Just awkward. I know that's a popular new thing, very common in Australia and other countries but honestly- its awkward for the diner. read more

Very bad experience yesterday. We arrived a few minutes before our reserved time. There was much confusion as we were asked 5 times what our name was and then (although there were only 2 of us standing there) we were asked how many in our party. They then pointed to the first table next to the door as our table. The restaurant was completely empty (with the exemption of one table of 4). Obviously, there were several far more desirable tables. We asked for another table and were taken to a more suitable one. We sat and waited...and waited...and waited. No one came near us and there was one waitress who seemed to be going in circles. She would walk in our direction and then turn around (which she did about 4 times). But then...the reason why we walked out... I looked at my plate and it was dirty. Not just dust, but caked on food from the last use that obviously didn't come off in the dishwasher. I understand that sometimes these things happen, but perhaps a bit more care and attention during a pandemic! We left and will not return....be sure to check the cleanliness of your plates and flatware if you eat here! read more

Ok. Been here a few times since they opened last Spring. Food's great. 4 of us went in today for brunch. Heres what we experienced: 1. want decaf coffee. Out of decaf. 2. Ordered Banana bread. No banana bread. 3. order quesadilla with smoked salmon, black beans on the side. Q comes with no smoked salmon and they charge me $5 for a side of black beans. 4. order mushroom toast for the table. No mushroom toast ever comes despite reminder. 5. Ask for more water twice; they take the bottle but never return. 6.One party orders a $13 green kale salad, and two tacos. The salad comes. Tacos never arrive, despite request. We are charged for the tacos, and are told there was a misunderstanding: they put the taco ingredients IN THE SALAD! 7. We ask not to be charged for the things we didnt get. 8. Manager comes over to inquire, in a most accusatory tone, what happened and why we should pay the $5 for the mushroom taco that was put in the salad and not on a taco. He asks if we sent the salad back -- we said no, since the first little salad took forever, despite an almost empty restaurant. He says he needs to justify the $5 comp 'to the office.' 9. Manager stomps off, TELLING US HE WOULD COMP THE ENTIRE TICKET BECAUSE IT IS OBVIOUS WE DON'T WANT TO PAY ANYTHING. The ultimate insult, and from a 'manager' no less. 10. the manager returns, only to continue the argument. Never, have I ever, in all my years, witnessed such reprehensible customer relations. 11. I leave, never to return. My 3 guests are appalled. Despite it all, we leave the waitress, who was trying to do her best, a $20 tip. 12. BTW, the food we did get was pretty good. read more

For the first time in two years has the food and service been on par with one another ( as opposed to any other place)! As excellent as the food was the service was even better. As locals, we have gone out less and less as the food menu prices are exorbitant and the service tres sub par. Our waiter, wish I knew his name, but handsome, dark skinned with beard and mustache was literally the best server in the Hamptons (and my brother is a waiter in the Hamptons). One, he asked us where we wanted to sit - what we have a choice!? - do you prefer a high top or a table with chairs. Two, he took his time to share with us all the items that he liked after we asked what do people like and shared with him that we hadn't been there in awhile. Upon delivery of the first item that my husband and I shared, he told us that he was waiting off on the other two so that we could enjoy the first item. We freakin' LOVE K Pasa! The food always tastes super fresh and great flavor combinations! My favorite tacos are the shrimp with pineapple salsa- SO good, and the steak taco with bacon is great as well! Passion Fruit Margarita is amazing, tastes fresh and is perfectly tangy and sweet. Delicious food. Got the mushroom tacos and was pleasantly surprised; they were fresh, savory: perfect beach food. I also got salsa and guacamole with chips. The chips were good: very homemade tasing. It was impossible to find a table on a Saturday night in Sag, we put our name on the wait list at Sen and went looking for something quicker. K Pasa had 2, yes, 2 tables in the whole place, one of which was a party of about 12-14 people who were just loud, like they are in their own backyard loud, not in a restaurant. So, we sat down, ordered a few tacos and drinks! Finally, we asked the waiter if we can move to another table, which was furthest away from the party table. It was totally freezing there, with a fan going full blast above our heads, so this is in October. I asked a waitress if she could turn it off. But was told, NO flat out. Ok, sat there for ages waiting for our drinks, which was amazing considering there was 1 person at the bar and then 2 more showed up AFTER we ordered our drinks. Finally the drinks came and then 15 min later our 4 tacos came, like warm temperature! When I finally flagged the waitress down, and told her that my food (a minuscule potsticker size taco btw) was cold, she said, " he just made it". I don't know what that means, none of my business, but after huffing and disdainfully taking my plate, she was off to the kitchen. A new plate was brought back, it was clear that the chef was careful with plating the food and the 2 minuscule tacos at $6 each were eaten. Shitty service, tiny portions, uninviting boring place.
