Ordering point, some of the sterile dining area
    Fred B.

I have been a fan of Korean Fried Chicken since trying it at several different spots in Manhattan years ago. The first spot I tried was Bonchon on 38th Street in the Hell's Kitchen area of Manhattan! Several years ago a Bonchon spot opened in downtown Greensboro, which I have eaten at several times and found the chicken to be every bit as good as I remembered it to be! So I was excited to give this spot a try. I chose the 4 PC Wing Meal and a Potato K-Dog. The meal comes with fries and some pickled radish - the cost was $11.99, and a fountain soda tacked on another $3! There is no table service here, you queue up to order at the register. I was told that my order would take 5 or 6 minutes, instead it took over 20 minutes - and I was the only customer in the place! The wings (flats only) were of a decent size but short of the jumbo label. They were a bit under cooked in the center, and the honey-soy-garlic sauce I requested on the side tasted exclusively of soy. The fries had no crispness, and. The radish cubes were bland to a fault! The Potato dog at $9.49 was overpriced and was all cheese! This was disappointing in every sense - I certainly will not be returning! Ambiance - 2.5 (sterile) Food - 1.5 Service - 1 Value - 1

Ok so you had me at corndog! But what the heck is this breakfast sandwich concoction??!! It's a super large portion- my husband ate the whole thing!! It was super busy when we got there- but worth the wait. Eclectic decor- fun menu. I mean how can you go wrong with corn dogs on the menu??? If you love egg sandwiches- get one.. but be hungry!!

My girlfriend hadn't tried these corn dogs before, so i brought her for the first time. As soon as you walk in you notice the bright atmosphere with lots of decorations and music playing. Seems like a cool place to hang out. The wings are amazing. Very crispy and the flavor is good inside and out. I personally enjoyed the corn dog and find it to be a nice twist on something most people enjoy. Mostly everything there is customizable which is cool. I really enjoy the food i guess my only complaint would be the price. For one corn dog and six wings with a fountain drink i paid a lot more than i would have liked. other than that good spot to try!

It was an interesting experience. My first Korean style egg sandwich. Delicious! Fluffy egg with a drizzle of sauce between a sweet brioche toast and cheese. Sweet and salty and very good. I felt it was a decadent breakfast item. Husband got wings and they were wet and sticky which isn't his preference in regards to wings. But I'm basing my review on my item. Service was a bit unusual..let's just say they were having a ton of fun back there. I'd come back for the egg toast.

I have been to this place a handful of times. If I didn't live on the other side of the city I would probably eat here at least once a week if not more. The concept of serving Korean influenced street food works here! Staff is incredibly friendly, efficient, and will recommend the best things to try. I highly recommend trying the wings especially the "Kick It" (sweet and spicy) and "1-2-7" (honey-soy garlic) flavors. The "Classic K-Dog", especially the half and half version of it, is a popular choice. If you're a fan of Korean food and looking for a K-pop experience, this is the place for you!

I saw mixed reviews since the opening of Kstop and I can say they have definitely fixed all the kinks! I got the potato kdog and it was SO CRISPY! I've had kdogs in NYC and this was honestly surprisingly better because of how crispy it was! We got the galbi wings which is FULL OF FLAVOR! Not too sweet or salty with the perfect crisp texture. Lastly, we got the ham and cheese egg toast and spam egg toast, this was ok. The texture of the egg was good but is missing a little more flavor. I've had these in korea and so I guess the bar is set high for me haha. The restaurant is BEAUTIFULLY DECORATED with posters of all popular Korean movies/dramas along with little Easter eggs of BTS and more. The music is kpop and I am a huge fan! Talk about a cultural gem in Winston. Last but not least, service was great. Our cashier was attentive and very knowledgeable of the menu. Very quick to get the food out and the kitchen you can see is very clean (a huge plus!)

    What a cool place :)

What a great time, since I walked in, I was received with a warm hi. This place is really cool, the decoration of kdrama and K-pop on the walls is really cool! Also music/shows playing go perfect with the place. The service was really good, the girl that took my order, explain the menu, and recommended the 2 delicious bites a picked! And omg! She nailed it. I ordered the half and half (half sausage, half cheese) kdog with potatoes and the sweet and spicy chicken! DELICIOUS! Can't wait to go back.

    Cute packaging!

My partner and his friends ate here and he asked me if I wanted anything for takeout. I def had to try their chicken wings! Korean fried chicken is one of my fav food, so I gotta see if they live up to the standards of its crispiness and flavor of the sauce. It's not bad! For a takeout order they were still crispy and flavorful, but I really did not like their pickled radish, which was disappointing. I choose the 1-2-7 (honey soy garlic) flavor and it was great, but it had a hint of ginger aftertaste?? I don't mind it. Would I try their wings again? 50/50. It was good but I've had better at other places. I'll be sure to stop by next time and try out other items there. It's great to see that there's a Korean restaurant in Winston-Salem, so that's a plus! It's right next to their other business, Binki Cafe, where you can get boba & Filipino food.

I first tried K Stop through Yelp. I love that they focus on street food. My son was excited to try it. We stopped by for lunch. I had the potato dog and he had the puff rice dog. We also shared an order of fries. Everything was perfectly fried and very tasty. The staff was very nice. My son loved the decor and Korean music. Next time I want to try the fried chicken.

K*Stop First half cheesy - second half meaty, whole thing crunchy and saucy I've been eyeing Korean corn dogs for a while so I was v excited when K Stop opened in Winston. I got the classic K-Dog with sweet Mayo and spicy Mayo drizzle Classic K-dog w spicy Mayo & sweet mayo drizzle Rice puff k-dog Potato K-dog Momodak - honey*soy*garlic Snow Cheese Fries Everything we ordered was delicious and service was quick! They answered my questions and gave suggestions.

The inside of the restaurant is cute and the menu is straight forward. I really wanted to like the food. However the flavors and temperature of the food wasn't there. I ordered the 127 (honey soy garlic) wings and they had a nice texture but tasted only like soy sauce. There was no garlic taste and they didn't come out hot. I also ordered the potato k-dog, how it comes with half mozzarella and half beef sausage. I got mustard and spicy Mayo as the two drizzles. There was way too much corn dog breading. I was left with extra at the end. It lacked potato's on the breading and didn't come out warm either. I tried to do a cheese pull and you can tell with mozzarella when it doesn't work because it's not warm enough... Maybe it's just kinks to be worked out since they are new. I'll give it another try in a few months.

Spam egg toast and classic kdog with sweet and spicy mayo drizzle

I love Asian street eats! Stopped in about 20 minutes before closing and I was worried that it'd be super annoying for the workers there but everyone was nice and didn't mind us dining in. I had a decent amount of questions, mostly recommendations, and the cashier was friendly and answered them all. I couldn't decide what to get but eventually settled on a few items: the classic K dogs with all beef, a spam egg toast, and soy garlic wings. At first I thought it was a little pricey but when I realized how large the portions were, especially the egg toast, it made a lot more sense! For myself and my boyfriend, we ordered too much lol. Everything tasted good! The wings are comparable to BonChon, maybe even more flavorful. I'm not a fan of the potato kdog from past experience (from another vendor) so I opted for the classic and liked this better. Even though it's classic, it's not like a regular American corn dog - larger and a crunchier texture. The drizzle options topped it off. My favorite was definitely the egg toast. I wasn't familiar with this before today but now I need another! I'm an shameless spam fan but combined with the biggest piece of buttery fluffy toast and the fluffiest eggs, and we've got a winner. The interior is bright, clean, and spacious. The Korean forward decor is worth taking note of and I appreciate the effort put in! If it wasn't so far, I'd be back more often but I'm excited to see Asian street food becoming more common!

We wanted sushi and red curry and they delivered us some excellent eats. Service was awesome and the manager still always comes by to ask if everything is ok. Love that. Probably at some point will need a Reno as they have been open awhile but nothing looked bad nice busy atmosphere and lots of customers which is nice to see. We ordered a standard vodka soda from the drink menu. They have drink specials every day as well. Then we tried the sweet heat roll which was so pretty ! Delicious with all the sushi elements. Yum. Then we tried the poke bowl with ahi tuna. Wow so big! Rice, seaweed salad and lots of Veggies and a yummy soy wasabi vinaigrette. The tuna sashimi was so fresh. Then the red curry with chicken. We asked for extra Thai spicy and it was just the perfect heat. Served with white rice this was a huge portion honestly could have served 3 people. We still had a lot left over . They were also great about giving us another bowl of rice which is also a nice touch . The sauce here for this red curry is amazing. I will be back to buy it as we asked if they sell it and our server said yes . It is one of the best I've ever had. We were somewhat totally full !! Haha! Such a fun night here eating all this amazing Great food . I need to make sure I come back sooner than a few years! If your red curry fan definitely come here!

Our soups and appetizer were the absolute best thing we ate. Our entrees were okay. My husband got the beef bulgogi and it needed something. He thought the addition of chili sauce would make it ideal. He gave it a 6 out of 10. I ordered the hibachi beef bowl and it was lacking flavor. The beef was well cooked but didn't seem to have any salt, soy sauce, or anything like that. It was a 5 out of 10.

They have Malaysian food and a specialty menu for khmer food. Khmer food is not knowned much in the east but its beginning to be more learned about and popular. There food is rich in flavor and there cuisine is mostly known for there use of fresh herbs, coconut milk and aromatic spice paste;known as kroeung(lemon grass paste). I decided to try some entrees from the Khmer menu. I tryed the Malaysian Roti appetizer with side curry. It is so so delicous. The curry is tasty too but a little too sweet for my taste. Main entrees I tryed was the chicken kroeung (sour lemongrass soup) and the braised pork meat on bone cooked in soy sauce( Malaysian style but Khmer people have a similar dish). The chicken kroeung is soup for the soul, filled with alot of green veggies and best eaten with white rice. The braised pork meat is great too. Cooked just right and seasoned good. Its not sweet or salty. Usually I would try braised meat in soy at other restaurants either it would be way too sweet or salty but they made theres just right. Now the Southeastern asian cooking is not for everybody or those who have only tried chinese or japanese food. If you'd like to try something different but oh sooo delicous, khmer cusine is for you!! The staff is very welcoming, friendly and informative. Food came out hot, quick and tasty(bursting of aromatic flavors). I met the owner too. He mentioned he also have a donut shop called Intown donuts and Boba tea..down the road on Jonestown Road. Will definitely dine here again and try there other menu items. As expected given its origins, Xia's menu skews Vietnamese (pho, banh mi, fresh rolls, and lettuce wraps), but there are Chinese influences as well. That menu isn't terribly large, but it does offer a good deal of versatility, including vegetarian options. My wife and I went with steamed dumplings followed by short ribs and garlic green beans with beef and rice. The flavors were excellent across the board. The green beans were sharply garlicky without overwhelming the palate while the ribs offered lemongrass notes and a hint of sweetness. The dumplings will make it hard to go back to the frozen version any time soon. Service was friendly and generally attentive. Our group of four ended up receiving dishes at different times, a possible product of the "small plates" concept blurring the distinction between courses. Speaking of which, expect small portions, especially for the near-entree prices paid. Nothing was outrageous, but a "come hungry and fill up" joint this is not. If you can look past that limitation, Xia's Asian Tapas offers tasty food in an attractive location. Provided you aren't famished, it's worth checking out.
