This place is the worst. Went with a group of friends and the workers were rude and obviously just wanted to end their shifts. We were only allowed to do one race because of the time (this makes sense and no one in my group fought this), and the workers kept aggressively telling us we could only do one race even after we all agreed. The "safety" instructions were one minute were I could not hear the instructions despite standing right in front of the worker as the engines were so loud. I also got manhandled by a worker after he said I was taking too long putting my helmet on (the one I grabbed didn't have a clip so I had to change with another). The worker just tilted my head up and snapped me without even asking. The experience could have been fun, but again once I'm in the car with a helmet on over my head piece the worker is shouting instructions that literally no one can hear. They say you go 12 laps but that's a lie I did 9. They arbitrarily slow you down or speed you up so you can't really control your speed or maneuvers. We did two whole laps on slow mode for no reason. Maybe other locations are better, or maybe a time where the workers don't obviously want to go home and do not care. Do not waste your money, way too expensive and workers who are rude, cannot be heard during safety instructions, don't ask or warn before touching, and very disturbingly flirt. read more

Decided to go here Monday evening to enjoy karting with a couple friends. My group and I are completely familiar wit K1, how karting works & all the rules that come with it. I have previously kart-ed once before so Monday was my second time karting at K1 but at a different location. Our party was of 3 so we were grouped with a bunch of other random people for our run group. After a couple laps in to our first race, I'm getting signed by the worker to "Let Pass". Absolutely no problem by me because I'm relatively new & I'm holding others up so I kindly let them pass. At that point, I wasn't after setting lap times but more just learning how to drive the track. After a few more laps, I'm taking a turn and as the turn straightens out this teenage kid bumps me from behind so fast causing my kart to break loose and go nose first into the barrier then because of his speed and how hard the impact was, the front of his kart went two wheels up in the air and proceeded to land on my leg. The worker who saw it all go down told the kid, "what did I tell you about your speed?". Out of frustration, I wobbled my way off the track and sat down in the seating area. Didn't expect any response from the snarky teenager who thinks he's Lewis Hamilton but absolutely no help from the staff. No one checked in/asked me how I was after 20 minutes. If it wasn't for my friend going back in to the establishment and letting the girl at the front desk know what had happened, they wouldn't have even kicked the kid out. This place is a nightmare, been several times in the past few months and have experienced the worst customer service in my life. They refuse to let anyone but their friends enter the grand prixs even if you have the proper qualifying time to do so. Just went tonight and A WHEEL FELL OFF OF MY KART on the track! They throttle the speeds of everyone but their friends or other employees. I only keep going because it's the only place nearby that offers competitive races but what's the point if they don't let new drivers enter them? Stay away from this place. The booking information is a lie! First big lie about time: We booked a birthday party for teenagers and adults. The booking information said we'd have two races with a total duration race time of 60 minutes starting at 4:00. Then, at 5:00, we would have a private room for pizza with another duration time of 60 minutes. We didn't start the first race until 4:20 and it lasted 15 minutes. Second race was an hour and 15 minutes later!! That race lasted 20 minutes, giving us only 35 minutes of racing over a period of over 2 hours! We didn't get to the room until after 6:00. The first two employees I talked to while waiting were rude and didn't explain how the timing worked just said we had to wait for our second race to be called. So, I went to the guy that was actually calling the races and once I complained to him, he did apologize and put my group up next, even though that still had us waiting another 20 minutes for our second race. Second big lie about drinking and drivings: During the waiting time, we witnessed a race where a grown man slammed into a teenage girl's car so hard that his car jumped onto hers. It took four employees to dislodge the two cars. When we first arrived, we saw him drinking champagne. The girl was helped off the race, and then that guy continued to race. In fact, he raced two or three more times. Between his wait times he continued to drink putting everyone at risk, with K1 still supplying him with continual alcohol. Also, that teenage girl was escorted out by an ambulance and one employee said, "Oh it happens all the time" to the parents of that girl! Absolutely ridiculous and disgusting. This was over a week ago but it took me this long to write this review because of how angry I was/am. I've already warned everyone I know. read more

Poor customer service, irresponsible and careless employees, poor hygiene demonstrated throughout the facility.

Worst place if you are even somewhat decent at karting. 1st race I did was good, but the second was unbearable. It was an almost full race with only 1 or 2 decent racers and the rest had no idea what they were doing. I got maybe 1 good lap in without multiple yellow flags and stoppages. When I went to talk to the manager (not expecting a refund but maybe a comped race) and she said because everyone got similar times she couldn't do anything. Basically what she did is look at everyone's times and because it was such a bad race everyone had similar times. If she had looked at my other race my best time was over 2 seconds faster than the one that just happened. Overall it's just not worth 60$ for 2 races if you are competitive in any capacity. read more

Today we celebrated my son's birthday here. We had a few hiccups during the party but I have to give a shout out to manager Randi, who went above and beyond to make sure we were happy. Like many places, k1 speed is understaffed and it's hard to run things smoothly when there's not enough people but what made a difference today is Randi's positive Attitude. He took care of us to his best ability and we appreciated it. At the end of the day, my son and his friends said that it was the best party they ever been to! read more

I don't recommend this place at all. At first look, yea it looks fun . But the wait times are beyond pathetic. Got there at 1:30 pm. Left around 7:30 or 8 . Only raced twice .. the staff kept placing parties ahead of us . Our races where delayed over an hour. Some , 2 hours. Arcades her musty. And old/outdated. The card machine doesnt take cash .its broken and sticky. Had to keep reminding staff we where way behind on our race time .?First race went well. Second race the guy in charge waved the flag, ended the race .. our cars slowed down , then they allowed the cars to speed up again so we all continued with our race. As i was turning , the conductor decides to slow the cars down once again after ending the race and speeding up the cars once again causing the guy behind me to basically run into me, then on top of me They Didnt know what to do . Only provided an ice pack? Like really.. they where freaking out looking for the manager.. once the manager was located . He came out took a look and walked away .. ridiculous . Zero stars. This place has been through 3 managers in 12 months. Every single Junior league race has had major issues. When they shut down the cars, they allow some cars to coast past other stopped cars which is unfair, even according to them. But then they do nothing to fix it. They are dealing with little kids here, and rather than have the races on a weekend, like the adult races, they have them on a Tuesday, have car failure after car failure after car failure until it's well past 10 pm. They are condescending to the parents who can see and point out issues and refuse to look at video evidence everyone has. These races have regional, state, national, and world competitions. So it can be a pretty big deal. But then when parents contest a result because of car failure, or coasting, or kids repeatedly warned to stop bumping, the parents are told they are taking it too seriously. But they are the ones who made it serious when they put world competitions on the line. This is absolutely the worst K1 I've ever been to and I've been to a dozen. I wanted to like this place, but it's run so inefficiently I feel I should warn others. Make sure to carve out at least 4 hours to wait, they don't take reservations for less than 8 people. Also you have to create an online account for each child, its a long, inefficient process. Next be prepared to pay an additional fee for each person called a "membership fee" it's not optional and it also doesnt get you any perks, discounts, etc. just another way to suck money from you. Then, make sure you pay close attention to the extremely muffled audio or you can miss the time they call your names. They'd do way better to hand out buzzers because it's so loud and their audio is TERRIBLE, they'll let someone else go in your place if you don't hear them. Definitely won't be coming back here. It wasn't worth the short overpriced go kart ride after a wait that took all day. read more

What a complete S-show this was. DO NOT go to this HORRIFICLY Run place. Completely ruined my kids birthday. We made a reservation AND pre paid for my son's birthday. He did not have a reservation when we got there after waiting in a line for 50 minutes because there was only one person serving the entire line which made up about 35 people. There was constantly issues going on because there was a manager running around and people were constantly coming up to her so clearly everyone else had the same experience that I did Once we finally got up to the line they informed us that we do not have a reservation even though we showed them the email where their "corporate" took our reservation and also we pre-paid for it. The manager informed us we're so sorry it doesn't mean that you had the reservation. We then spent the next hour and a half signing the kids in and trying to figure out if we could fit our kids in for a 20 minute ride. All the while the snack shop was completely closed so we had to hail down overworked employees to try to see if they could come and help us in the closed knock so that my kids could get a drink of water while literally waiting around for hours. There would be clusters of employees standing around together in a days look while dozens and dozens of customers were trying to be helped. I have literally never been to a place like this after having kids for 12 years and having multiple birthdays per year. What an absolute mess this was. We had to leave eventually not even getting on the race track so my kids spent hours waiting around with no snacks unless we hail down somebody and waited for a long time for them to finally come and open up a register. The manager could only say sorry corporate books this place differently than we do so basically our reservation didn't count. Which makes absolutely zero sense whatsoever. Unless you wanna wait around indoors for hours with not an open snack shop or a place to get water readily then I would not suggest even thinking about coming to this place. And to top it all off the rides that we paid for that my kids never got to go on they couldn't refund us for it we had to use our time yet again and call their corporate offices to see if we can get a refund. I have never ever experienced anything like this in my life If I could give negative stars I would. There should really be a no star feature. Walking in to staff shouting it's a 2 hour wait, as in please leave, we don't want you here. We finally got to the register and were greeted with a monotone no sense of urgency vibe. We purchased a package that includes a shirt. There was an issue that the shirts in stock were not in the size we needed (M). I asked if we could just take a rain check and get it when they became in stock. Chelzea immediately said no. I said really we just got a membership so we will be back? I'll just call in and request it from the manager. She said the manager is here and I can get them. She came back and said the manager didn't want to come and it's still a no. So how is not having a shirt in our size for a package you sell our fault? Place is just ok, karts are fast, wait times are really long and after waiting you don't really get all of your races at the same time. The 3 of us had a 3 race deal we waited 45 min and have or 1st race then a group arrived and we were pushed aside and had to wait for about 45 more minutes for second one and again around 30 for third one. We wanted to eat while waiting but they refuse to serve us food because we were schedule to race, they wouldn't sell us a single beer (I get it tho) because we were scheduled to race. There is potential for the place they just need to do a more fare job scheduling races although we weren't an 8 people group we were still 3 paying customers and a soon as the group arrive we were pushed aside! read more

After waiting 90 minutes Shauna informed us we have to wait for another 30-60 minutes. Her tone was obnoxious. She said, "You have to be happy that your kids had already one ride today." When I told her I am a front line worker and was expecting to have a nice day instead of being shouted at, she responded that this not a doctor's clinic....These people definitely need training on ethics and manners. read more

The staff was poorly trained and often gave confusing instructions - not calling names over the intercom, giving out wrong cart numbers, not stopping aggressive bumping, i could go on and on. No one was wearing a COVID mask and when this issue was brought up to the staff they just shrugged. Don't trust the prices online because they have hidden fees at the door too.
