Showed up at 2000 on a Tuesday. The listed hours state the establishment is open until 2200. However, upon arrival we found the front doors to be locked. The parking lot was essentially empty and there appeared to be one person racing on the track. Employees noticed us at the front door and ignored our persistent knocking in attempt to inquire about racing. We attempted to call to speak to an employee but the automated message system made it impossible to be connected to a human. Upon further review, it appears this establishment is known for poor management and even worse customer service. So, if you plan on racing for a spontaneous date night, I suggest you do it in your own vehicle around the building because it's actually a pretty fun course in the parking lot. read more

We hosted our extended family over Thanksgiving weekend, and needed to keep the kids (young and old) busy on Friday. K1 rose to the top of the list, and we headed over. Walking into this large warehouse space, the first thing that jumped out is the overall cool factor. A former NASCAR car was to the right as we walked in, and the vibe just reeked of "go fast". The check-in was incredibly smooth and fast. The downside was that they were BUSY on the track, which meant long wait times between races. The way it works is pretty simple - two classes of cars, based on height. The "kids cars" are still plenty fast...something to keep in mind. Both classes of cars are electric and can be remotely killed (so if you're doing spins, knocking people into the boards, etc - the crew can remotely kill your car). Safety is taken pretty seriously...before each race, the racers (up to ten) are instructed on do's and don'ts, as well as what each flag means. When you check-in, you're given a head cover - which is cool for you as a souvenir, and great for the staff as they don't have to constantly dis-infect helmets. Each racer gets a full-face helmet, sized appropriately. The racers get in their cars when instructed, and start a ten lap race. One important note is that you're racing time, NOT the other drivers. Your position (again, based on time) is shown on a screen in the spectator area AND on a big screen at the end of the straightaway. The races end as the last driver crosses the finish line, and the next race starts immediately - so this is a non-stop action environment. There's plenty of staff to watch out for spin-outs and misbehavior, so this is about as safe as racing can get - and it's pretty damned fun. Definitely recommended for the fam - it's awesome regardless of your age. A bit pricey, but that doesn't seem to be stopping anyone from going. read more

The first time I been here was amazing because all the staff was literally outstanding ! I went with my fiancé and I got helped by a cashier and a manger , I believe lily and Natalia. The food court was good in certain stuff but let me say the pizza there is very well done , again I got attended by lily and I honestly say she made the pizza just how I liked it ! The second time I can I brought my family for an event and they all loved it , not going to lit it is pricey but you get what you pay for. Do you have a need for speed? Do you have a lead foot? Do you have a swift itch that needs to be scratched? I totally have a greater appreciation of what it takes to be race car driver. Mind you - yeah - I understand this is amateur karting, but still, the cars do respond well to your command. Accelerating, bumping (no-no!), breaking, "drifting," passing, losing control. Man, oh man, what a good time! We reserved a time for a bachelor party. We signed up for the Grand Prix which is 3 races (Practice, Qualifying, and the Final) and cost us $60 each. This is a great deal since you race 14 laps and on average 30 secs a lap (mind you my best lap was at 29 secs), that 7 mins is far longer than you would ever think. Adrenaline Rush does not begin to describe it. My boyfriend got this awesome groupon for us that was just perfect. 2 licenses, and 4 races for $44. And trust me, 2 races is more than enough per visit if you are a newbie like me. The license is basically a profile that they keep on you. It keeps track of all your visits, races, and times. We did the first race with a bunch of newbies like ourselves. I have to brag a little and say that for my first time I kind of kicked butt. The instructor was great. I wear glasses, so he helped me out so I could wear my glasses and still race without a problem. Safety was really their main concern and I saw this countless times not just in our races, but the ones before and after mines. We finished our visit doing our race with the pros, and this was super accidentally. These guys have top times overall from ALL visitors. So this was awesome! I am super competitive so this totally pushed me, plus driving with pros gave me good pointers. By the end of the night my hands were sore, but I loved it! Even during the time on my second year where I reserved a gp race and was missing a racer to complete the requirement, the staff was kind and although I had to pay the extra $50 for the no show they gave it back to me in the form of a k1 gift card so I can use it later at any k1 location. Came here for my birthday party with a group of 12 adults, $49 per person for two races. Note, you must wear CLOSED-TOE SHOES and hair longer than shoulder length needs to be pulled back while racing. With the group of 12, you get the track all to yourself with no random drivers. There's a quick safety tutorial, a warm-up qualifying circuit, and then a race circuit. These "go-karts" are ridiculously fast. This was my first time doing anything like this - they are bonkers quick. These are electric so get 100% of power immediately with massive low-end torque. The circuit is quite tough, I thought, and just turning the kart with no power steering is a serious work out. They take safety seriously, so any intentional ramming will lead to consequences like pausing the race and removing offenders. It's not a joking matter because these go so fast, that a direct hit can cause serious neck injury. With our private race, everything went perfectly. I was very happy with the experience and thought the staff were enthusiastic but professional. I would definitely do it again to work on my lap times. read more

This place is clean, nice and open and there is a nice little seating area so that your lady friend can watch you kick ass on the track while giving her the thumbs up on the way round the last corner. The price is a little high but if you are any of the things listed in the first sentence you will be willing to pay what it takes to get on the track and display your testosterone ridden body. I wish i had even a single good thing to say about our experience here but it was one awful encounter and mishap after another. Came here on a weekend and surprisingly it didn't seem like there was much of a wait however the staff is incredibly inept and lacking in their communication and customer service skills. We got registered and were waiting to be rung up and the cashier who was literally right in front of us did not acknowledge us for another ten minutes as she was talking with a coworker despite it being dead inside and us literally standing in front of her-- it had me wondering whether we were supposed to pay elsewhere because there was no "I'll be right with you" or "one second guys!" Or anything of the sort. After she was done talking with said coworker we were trying to decide whether to do one or two races and the she told us that one race is about 15-20 minutes so we just opted for that. Then gave us no instruction on where to go or where to wait as the current race just ended and we assumed we'd be in the next group. The guys working in the race track were equally useless and rude, just huddled like a group of high schoolers gossiping. They were quick to reprimand and correct anyone's wrong doing (like entering the track from the wrong side-- sorry my bad) but offered absolutely no insight as to what was right or the correct way to resume nor did they acknowledge anybody until the exact starting time. Sorry I'm not an avid go kart racer and have never been here before?? Not to mention the first helmet i picked up was wet inside and clearly soaked with sweat-- i thought maybe they sanitized them but they don't and after you race you just put the helmet you used back on the shelf for the next person. Anyways we paid damn near $40 for a race that got stopped 3 times and was less than 10 minutes in duration so definitely a rip off. The third time it was stopped was for a substantial amount of time so when we saw them wave the checkered flag after resuming, we thought we might just start over entirely due to the mishaps and odd technical difficulties that occurred for racers during this round but the entire race was in fact over and a new group was getting ready to enter. Basically an absolute waste of time. We ended up waiting around for probably an hour all together between the lack of instructions and acknowledgment, and didn't even spend 10 minutes racing. The kart also bruised the hell out of my spine which is what kept reminding me to write this awful review-- i can't even sit or lay down comfortably. And normally I wouldn't care because that's my own damn problem but this being such a bad experience makes me that much more annoyed with it :) read more

Brought my son here and he wasn't tall enough to race after driving all the way from Temec. The 48 inch marker is not accurate, its probably around 52 inches. We've been to two other Karting locations with no problems. Went home and measured with a 4ft stick to make sure. The height marker is definitely wrong. read more

PLEASE read before going. Let me start by saying that this facility is clean and a typical K1 track that is always clean and looks great. Secondly, the guys that ran the track did a great job with safety and with helping people enjoy their time. My biggest complaint comes in the place of the front counter girls. I will not come back to this location just to avoid the disrespect and ignorance of these girls. We were given a Groupon for Christmas and we're finally using it to bless someone else and the staff treated us like dirt for using a Groupon. They pushed us to the side three times and took over 30 minutes just to figure out a simple redemption code. Any questions we had were responded with ignorance and blatant disrespect. We also warned them of a group of three people that came in from smoking weed in their car and they let get in the carts. Next time I will be calling the cops. I have a two year old there having to smell that garbage. The entire front counter staff needs to be fired. I'm assuming the rest of the terrible reviews are from the staff. Thrills and chills! Took my friends here over spring break. I've never seen or done anything like it! I think the karts go up to 40 miles/hour or so, so it's super fast! You feel like a legit racer. You do have to grip the wheel pretty hard, since the turns are tight and you are going pretty fast, so be ready for some sore forearms! Overall very exciting! read more

You guys, This place is so much fun! Scott and his team did a great job of getting us trained up for the big track. We had a blast! We came here for a corporate team building event with a party of 9. The max cars on the track at a time is 12. They were able to give us the track to ourselves with a group of 9. We did go on a Tuesday afternoon so I'm not sure if this option would always be available during peak business times. The track is indoors so you can go rain or shine. The cars were electric so the air quality is clean. There is no AC in the building so it can get a little roasty on a hot day with the helmets and headsocks on. One time here and I'm hooked. First off, the location is rather convenient. Exit the freeway, drive down, make two turns and you're there. Plenty of parking, but carpooling is cool too ya know. There are two entrances so that's convenient as well. You can call ahead to plan your racing event (probably the best idea if your group is bigger than, let's say, 10). I came with a HUGE group (around 40+ people). I want to say 15 of them called ahead to do a Grand Prix style event - 3 races, 12/14/16 laps, and the top three racers got trophies. You can do that OR do, what they call, Arrive-and-Drive. If you've never been here you will have to go to one of the five (I think there was five) computers and register. It takes maybe 2-5 minutes depending on how fast you type and then you go see the employees next to the computers. From there you choose and pay for how many races you want. If you called ahead then they should give you a time to arrive. If you do the arrive-and-drive then it's random honestly. Since I did the arrive-and-drive, and it was a Friday, my wait was roughly an hour. Not bad if you ask me. I chose the 14 laps 3x. It was awesome. Slight adrenaline rush. Extremely competitive ESPECIALLY when you're with friends. While you're waiting you are welcome to play some of their coin-operated games (pool, air hockey, racing games), buy from their snack bar, or relax on their comfy sofas and read from their choice of magazines. Before the race they will explain their rules to you (if you've never raced with them before). After the explanation, you walk through the gate, get your "face sock" (I already forgot what they're actually called), and pick from a S/M/L helmet. The karts are all electric. Remember: no bumping, no drifting, and have fun. Although I'm certain my group and I achieved the last while still slightly bumping and sometimes drifting (it's hard not to!) ALSO, they have multiple locations, so pick your poison. read more

My family and I were excited to race for our very first time and drove over 30 mins to enjoy a family activity together but upon checking in were informed that there was a birthday party reserving the track and that we would have a wait time of approximately 3 hours, not to mention that we would be unable to race as a family since one of our kids was a minor and would have to race separately. It was unfortunate since they were looking forward to this racing prior to starting school back up again but no attempt was made to find an alternate solution. We still have the tickets and have been discouraged from going back due to the poor customer service experienced during our first visit. Best racing experience EVER! From the moment you walk in, you know the place was built for one thing: Speed. The environment is well thought-out, the layout is simple and sleek. The all-electric karts have insane power and torque and don't leave any headache-inducing emissions behind, and the staff is excellently trained to make sure that customers are safe and having fun while operating them. The track is beautifully designed, with 16 insane twists and turns, including two hairpins, a teardrop, and even a chicane section (my personal favorite portion of the track) to give racers a constant challenge. I even brought my cousins in to let them race the junior karts, and they wouldn't stop asking me to come back. This place is for anyone and everyone! A lot better than your Boomers go-karts and if your not associated with any real track or auto cross events then this is a way to improve your driving skills! Registering at the place is easy, it's a must for first timers so don't forget to do that before you stand in line! We groupon'd this for $44 for two for two sessions! Each session consists of about 10-15 minutes of track time, don't know how many laps that is.. Be sure to follow the rules to avoid getting your kart slowed down.. What's nice is that they provide head socks and helmets, some even with gopro mounts if you have one! The inside of the building for wait time is nice providing games, pool tables and a basketball game.. They also have a snack bar for pizza and other stuff! They also hand out time sheets to see your own progress! Hands down, I'd go again, I really wanna go with a big group so we fill up the track to ourselves!
