However, the lady who was taking the orders was talking so fast and we can't barely hear what she was talking about. And she was not friendly at all, should not be in front dealing with customers. We were on our way to the German Deli for lunch a couple doors down and saw this place was new, so we decided to try it. Dad ordered the chicken lulu kabab sandwich and I ordered the beef. (Pictures for a menu does wonders) Both were good, but the beef was better. The side of tabuleh was a little coarser than I like and a bit too oily, but otherwise fresh and good. Delicious kabab! I'm very impressed with the qualiy of food here at Kabab Way. Growing up in Glendale, I've had my share of kabab. After reading some of the reviews on Yelp!, I reminded myself to give this place a try for lunch. The food is amazing. I ordered the chicken breast kabab salad. The order was generous and came with two sides: hummus and tabouli. The meat was incredible tender, juciy, and very well marinated. Most other kabab places tend to dry-out chicken breast - so I was impressed with Kabab Way for gettig it just right. The hummus was among the best I've ever had. It had an extra "kick" ... maybe sumac or paprika? I don't know exactly, but whatever it was, that kick definately compliments the creamy texture of the hummus. Also, that spiciness really helped sooth my stomach - if you're an avid Kabab eater, you know what I'm talking about. I felt full and energenic after this hearty meal. No tummy aches or that gross feeling of bloatedness and best of all, no guilt! The interior was clean, neat, and almost unexpected for this area in Glendale. Nice TV, indoor and outdoor seating, and restroom facilities. Great menu selection - chicken, beef, lule kababs, and something I'll definately try next time - fish. She is very harsh and seems extremely annoyed at us customers. Not even a smile. I usually tip big, but I do not tip at all when she is there, because she seems very unhappy. I love that you can add a side of their delicious hummus for just $1. You can get yourself a delicious meal for just under $10. I cane here with my family. They changed the layout and it's nicer. Better use of the space. I still don't like having so many tv's to watch while your eating. It distracts the kids and makes for poor conversation. The food is still on point although I still get the lulu and shish confused. Not the friendliest staff. They always give me the stink eye when I ask for my salad on the side instead of in the container. I like to purchase my food the night before and microwave for work the next day and having the salad in the same container doesn't make sense. I feel like I'm always arguing my point before I can get them to put it on the side. However their kabobs are my favorite in town, and my husband and I get them every other week. It's always juicy and tasty. I usually get the luleh beef with the cucumber tomato salad. Their garlic sauce is amazing. The place is good, probably the best I've had. Delicious! The food is flamed grilled in front for you. The chicken and beef are cooked to perfection, seared but juicy. The yogurt based sides are a must compliment. Nicely furnished and clean with self seating, a notch up from comparable places. Lots of big interesting pictures and murals. We came in near closing time. It was our first visit to this place. The girl behind the register is talking shit about us in another language because she obviously wants to go home.
