Food is pretty good. It's been my go to place for quick and easy mediterranean. Last time I came in with a big order for a few people. I asked if I could have a bit more rice instead of the pita for one of the orders. The ladies behind the counter seemed like they were okay with it, but then some bearded guy in glasses yelled out "no!" I guess he was a manager or owner? I don't know. He was just sitting there at one of the tables staring at his phone. He looked up to yell "no" and then went back to his phone. I'm not sure what the cost difference is between a little more rice instead of the pita. But I think it might be less than what they'll lose when I go somewhere friendlier for food. It's not like there's a shortage of similar places around. I don't know, maybe he was having a bad day. Maybe I'll be back. Or maybe I'll find a better place. read more

I was passing by the area and decided to pick up some kabobs to go for lunch. The lady who picked up the phone was really nice and pleasant. We had numerous orders of the chicken kabob. Ordered for pickup and our food was ready in ten minutes. We got the beef lula and chicken shish combo, as well as the chicken lula salad. Usually at kabob houses, I find that I enjoy the beef kabobs most since chicken shish can be a bit dry. However the chicken lula and shish were my favorites here, as the chicken was well marinated and juicy. I'd get rice over salad next time, although the hummus in the salad plate was pretty good! Come here at least once a week when we're craving kebabs and Mediterranean. It's consistent, fairly priced and tasty. This place is simple. Nothing fancy and nothing overboard with decor. They have plenty of seating and there's also a patio. Parking can be a little difficult at times but there's street parking as well. The combos are pretty good. Typically do the chicken lula with the beef kebab and salad and rice comes out to bean average 15 bucks. A side of chicken kebab runs around $5 and is perfect for kids. Add a side hummus or any of their other tasty sides for a total meal. If you like seafood try the whole trout. A steal at $7 al la carte. For a few bucks more you can also get the combo with rice and salad. Also the hummus is pretty amazing as well. Staff is always friendly and always willing to help out. The meat quality and carb portion size at this place is pretty good and tasted fresh. While I don't think that it's reasonable to expect a big portion of meat with the way food pricing is these days, I thought that it was not cool that the trout was only half of the fish (one fillet). I think that in general, the menu needs to reflect the true post-pandemic quanity that's actually given on the protein. Chicken Sultani - very good. The chicken (thigh) kabob was well-seasoned and juicy. There was a generous potion of lula and it tasted great. Beef kabob - good. The beef was good quality and cooked well. Boneless rainbow trout - good. I expected a full trout for that price, not just one side of the fish. Veggie platter - I really liked the compact dolmas. Just the right amount of tartness and the hummus did not feel salty at all. The pita is tender without being crumbly. I really enjoyed the refreshing side of tabouleh as well. I love Kabab Way. It's always a great place to get some food to go, when you're having trouble deciding what to get. They use fresh ingredients, and you can taste the quality. You can't go wrong with ordering any of their Kabab plates, or sandwiches. The restaurant is very clean, and has been remodeled with a modern aesthetic in mind. There is plenty of seating and there are TVs that are usually tuned to a sports channel if there is a game going on. The staff has always been nice and accommodating. We always order the Chicken Soltani plate (which is one skewer of chicken thigh pieces, grilled to perfection, and one skewer of chicken Luleh Kabab) with basmati rice and side of green salad and grilled tomato. The Beef Soltani plate is my personal favorite and it's one skewer of beef filet, and one beef Luleh Kabab with rice, salad and grilled tomato. My kids prefer to just get the beef Luleh Kabab with rice, because it's really good. My only complaint is that they don't offer the customer the choice of picking their own sides, for example like Cafe Bravo in Glendale, CA. No, just no. They food was extremely poorly cocked. The meat and the chicken was not good all. For 22 dollars I had to use a fork to cut the meat, and I never done this. The meat was not chewable. Is this the best I've ever had? No. But I like this place because the food is consistent with its flavor, pricing, and quantity. I always leave satisfied. We always order the beef luleh, and it is consistently good. I love their yogurt cucumber as well and we get the roasted anaheim chili pepper as well always as takeout. The food usually stays warm because they cook everything fresh of course. The meat is flavorful, fresh, and tasty. The only thing I will say is the portion size of the meat is on the smaller side.
