Chicken was ok but beef was barely cooked and over seasoned with pepper. Not one to go out of my way to give a bad review especially one that has mostly high reviews but also don't want someone getting sick so just be careful. Maybe I just went there on an off day.

It was my first time trying Kabob house and it did not disappoint. The employee at the register answered my questions on what was most popular. Very friendly service. I believe the food is made to order, so it is very fresh! The meat and chicken, both seasoned to perfection. And I mean it just has a good amount seasoning and spices nothing that I've tried at other Mediterranean places. I will definitely be going back again! Have to support a local business! Absolutely amazing

my late uncle brought me here once and i remember especially enjoying the rice. haven't been here in years but decided to stop by. the flavors are still the same!! prices are steady and reflect those of even last year (which is rare these days). tender meat and good flavor, buttery and soft rice, and fresh vegetables in the salad. ordered #4 skewers kabob (3) and got one of each beef, lamb, and chicken. i enjoyed the lamb the most since it was the most tender and the seasonings fit that meat best. beef was a little tough for my liking but still had good flavor. chicken was chicken haha. the salad and hummus were sour but that's how i enjoy my things! salad seems to have the vinegar mix from the peppers. food flavor. could use some cheese but it works. good crunch from cucumbers and tomatoes. i only wish the bread was made in house. i got the mango lassi drink and it was just okay, wish it had more mango or yogurt flavor. i wanted to try salaam cola but didn't see it until i was on my way out (cans were turned away). it would also be nice to have drink prices posted somewhere. they have a cool selection like orangina (french), tazah, golden plate, and karoun. they even have a mint yogurt drink...interesting stuff. service was prompt and cashier was nice. it's pretty quiet and clean for the most part. some people will hate on the "outdated" look but i think it works. it is family-owned and they serve good food. their beautiful artwork and pictures/history is a plus! palestine and its people are beautiful...and its food is delicious!! overall, it was very filling and nice setting to eat in. will be back to try their desserts! they have so many to pick from.

While in Riverside, we stopped at lunch at the kebab house and for a small fast food restaurant this was pretty darn good. The meat was very tender. The hummus was excellent and it comes with a garlic sauce of some sort that really has a kick to it. The people there were all smiles, very nice, our food was brought to our table, and it was very enjoyable

I absolutely love this place. I used to eat it weekly when I worked in Riverside. I haven't been for a several months and was please that the food was still as delicious as before. The service is amazing. It's a family owned restaurant. The ambiance is casual. I definitely suggest you try this place out if you're looking for Mediterranean food. I wish I lived closer. And please don't just my photo. I always order the chicken kabob plate with all salad and literally mix it all together with a side of tabbouleh. It's fire!

It's a cute cozy dine In or even a side patio location set in the heart of Riverside. I have drove past this location so many times and glad I finally stopped in. I was greeted right away. Tables and seats clean. My order took a good 15mins but it's because everything was fresh and hot. I had the Chicken Kabob plate. The chicken was sooo good and had a nice tang to it. The rice, fluffy! The hummus was creamy! Tabbouleh , ugh, I loved it and it was especially good with the small pieces of pickle! The side salad made my moth water!!! And the pita delicious. The portion was so good for the price! I took half home and had it for lunch the next day and ugh, everything still go good! Needless to say, I'll be back!

This is my go to spot whenever I'm in the area. The food is hands down the best and tastes homemade! The downside is that the restaurant looks a little run down, so make sure to manage expectations. For example, I would recommend taking your order to go (and avoid the restrooms, if you can). While the staff is busy, they always make time to greet you and answer any questions about their menu. We order the meat skewer plate that included hummus, salad and rice. Plus, a chicken shawarma wrap. The portions of the plate were so big, we had a second helping in the evening. We of course had to finish with two orders of baklava.

Excellent Quality, Service and Taste. My parents have been going to Kabob House for years and love the Beef Kafta & Lamb Kabob Plates. My husband and I love the Chicken/Falafel Kabob plate and Chicken Shawarma Fries. I highly recommend the Falafel and Chicken Shawarma Fries. The fries have an amazing sauce that works so well. For 3 Plates and one order of fries, the total was $75 but well worth the price because we usually have leftovers. I would recommend this Authentic Mediterranean to anyone. Best in the Inland Empire.

Best Arabic food ever! We've tried all middle Eastern foods in the area and I will pick this place hands down every time. The food is just great, the service is amazing and the ambiance is relaxing. It's not fast food so don't expect to get your order in 2 seconds. It's definitely worth the wait. The hummus is great, the shawarma is amazing and ofcourse the kabobs!

The lamb kabob was not disappointing, 2 skewers packed with deliciousness, so flavorful. Basmati was freshly made answer so aromatic, love that it's such a light rice. Hubby had the chicken, very tender with alot of flavor. The hummus and salad was also fresh, very tasty. We will be back to try other items on the menu! Oh their baklava is homemade so good!!!!

We had the half chicken and half beef plate and found it okay. The seasoning on the meat was particularly strong and unlike other schwarma seasonings we've had. The sauces (garlic, tahini, hummus) were all very good. The service was fast and seating at the restaurant was good. read more

A preferred spot for tasty mediterranean food. This location is absolutely outstanding. I made a delivery order thru yelp and chosen Grubhub by mistake , Grubhub doesn't deliver the food and only has a pick up option. I called the restaurant and spoke to Ms Linda, She was so helpful. I just added a dessert thru Uber Eat and she included all orders together. Falafel wraps and Baklava were so fresh and taste. Thank you and will order again. Love this place, food is always fresh and juicy and full of flavor. Expect to wAit about 10 minutes for your food but it's worth it for fresh n hot. There's plenty of parking + affordable prices + clean fast foodish restaurant + great food better than anything else in the area. read more

Update: I had to change my review to 2 stars because my husband and I got really sick after eating here. We didn't eat anything prior or after so it wasn't anything else we ate. We both got very nauseous and queasy after we got home. We both had stomachaches and we felt like vomiting. Not sure if we will ever come back. It's a small and cozy restaurant that has limited seating. There are two ways to enter the place. The wait was about 10 minutes to get our food. The chicken shawarma was amazing! The rotisserie chicken had a lot of flavor. The garlic sauce is bitter and not what I'm use to so I didn't care for it at all. The hummus didn't taste fresh and had an after taste to it so I'm not a fan of it. The rice is different than jasmine or basmati so not sure what kind it was but I didn't care for it. The pita bread was thick and the sad thing is that you only get one with your meal. The tabbouleh was not my favorite because the tomatoes were too big and the flavor was not like what I've had from other places. If we did come back, I would probably stick with the shawarmas and maybe try the kabobs. read more

Great mom and pop place! Very friendly people and DELICIOUS food!! None of the processed chain restaurant crap. This is our Go-to Mediterranean fast food place! The chicken and beef are very well seasoned and the rice is extra buttery (so good)! Their hummus is also seasoned well and not too salty.Everything is so flavorful! Our usual go to plates are the chicken or beef kabob, or if we feel like doing half and half we do that. We ask for extra dipping sauces, bc yes even their sauces are super flavorful. A plate comes with two kabobs, hummus, rice, spiced onions, and a small Mediterranean salad. Very filling! Their baba ghannouj is a must! You have to try it. Their recipe for this Mediterranean eggplant dish is soooo bomb! Highly recommend. Also they have options for vegetarian, when you aren't feeling up for the meat, they have falafel plates and sandwiches, which are equally flavorful. They do deliver thru yelp, and if u work at Kaiser Permanente across the street you get a discount if you show your badge! I do recommend calling In your order and then picking it up bc their food is all fresh and it takes a while. So if you're in a rush and just want to pick up food and you don't want to eat at the restaurant, call beforehand. read more

This place has such delicious and fresh halal food. Everything you get here will be so good so I can't say that anything in particular is my favorite. Just ate at this Kabob House restaurant with my daughter and we ordered a lamb wrap and a beef wrap. Absolutely delicious!! They were generous with the meat and the whole wrap was very juicy. The best Mediterranean food I've ever had! I ordered catering from Kabob House for my company staff meeting and the entire experience from start to finish was efficient and stress free. I didn't have a single complaint about the food and many staff members actually asked me for the restaurant name because the food was so delicious! So far I've tried the chicken kabob, chicken shawarma, veggie kabob, which come with rice, hummus, pita, and every item has been absolutely delicious and cooked to perfection. I'm going to try the falafel next and will continue ordering food here. read more

Delicious Chicken Shawarma plate!! Large pieces of moist, well seasoned chicken on a bed of light basmati rice, a tangy green salad, a helping of velvety hummus and a pillowy soft pita bread. The staff was friendly and service was very quick. The restaurant has four outdoor tables with umbrellas so you can be safe and enjoy your meal al fresco. We highly recommend! read more

It used to be one of my favorite places to go because they kept the "original" bread in the shawarmas, and today sadly find out, they change it for a flour tortilla, so you better just go get a burrito somewhere else instead here, not a place to go back definitely!!! read more

I love med food. I love rotisserie chicken. Super stoked once I walked in. Flavor was on point, but sadly my chicken was pretty dry. Not just the white meat, but the dark meat too. Such a bummer. Hummus and dipping sauces were good. Pita was excellent. read more

They are Across the street from Kaiser hospital. The food was delicious. I ordered the 1 strewed beef plate. The meat was tender, the meal had more portion sides than I expected. The hummus was delicious, served with flatbread, rice and salad. The staff was very polite, I will return when back in California. read more

I've driven by so many times but never had the chance to try this place. Well I did and loved it. Loved it enough to come back twice in a week. The wraps are super tasty and made fresh. They are quite messy however that's because they are stuffed. I had the steak shawarma the 1st time and than the 2nd time I had the Kafta shawarma. My personal favorite was the Katfa shawarma, however you can't go wrong with either choice. The staff is very polite. The restaurant is very clean. Ample seating with a TV showing sports usually. They do offer catering since I've seen several big orders the 2 times I was in. This will definitely be a regular spot for me since it's so close to home. The pricing is very reasonable and the food is great. read more

Flavorful and super juicy. Medium was perfect for me as it packed a punch without being too spicy. I think I've gotten their brisket on other occasions which was solid as well. This is a good spot to dine in canyon crest plaza, one of my favorite plazas in the city. Can't go wrong here!

Some of the best food I've ever tasted have been from little, inconspicuous "mom & pop shops". A great example is the Kabob House. Located in a small retail center, this tiny, family-run restaurant makes some of the best Middle Eastern dishes in Riverside. You order at the counter and if you're lucky, one of the 6 or 7 tables inside are available for dining. There are an additional 4 tables outside, but it gets damn hot during the middle of the day. I recommend the 3 Skewers Kabob Combo Plate, so you can sample all three of the meats kabobs; beef, chicken and lamb. The lamb is my favorite, perfectly cooked and well-seasoned. The plate comes with traditional sides of rice, marinated onions/tomatoes, pita bread, hummus and yogurt sauce. I think the plates are the best way to order but if you prefer, you can opt for the wraps with your favorite meats. The atmosphere is nothing impressive, but the food is outstanding! read more
