    Beef soup noodles

BLUF: A real confusing menu that has spaghetti and meatballs to smash burgers to Taiwanese beef noodle soup. A menu with this much range feels disorienting. The place doesn't have an identity. There's an Irish pub decor with chili oil pig ear on the menu. That being said, the food was still good. The beef in the beef soup noodle was very tender and delicious. Great soup and straightforward traditional seasoning. A no frills bowl that's very good. The burgers were well made. Smashed burger with a lacey edge. It's a place for group who each want something different. Either they want Chinese, American, or Italian. This has something for all three.

Will return. A nice little eatery with a vodka and whisky bar (no wine ). A side from the bar food, they also serve dumplings, with good vinegar (not sweet!), which we came here for: not bad, the chives are very fresh. Will return for more. Wish them luck, to survive long term. Pretty floor tiles. Street parking.

Super good smashed burgers! My family loves these burgers. Prices are super reasonable if you get the burger, fries, soda combo $12.50- can't beat it! I'm a fan also of the dumplings, salads and lentil soup! There's something for everyone here! The servers Clay and Frank are really nice and they aim to please. It's also a bar so some people come to drink and watch a game on tv but it's very low key. I've never seen anything weird or crazy here.

Went in for my 2nd visit and decided to give a review. I ordered the Kai burger and my wife ordered their new menu item Beijing Noodle. Server told us they had new chef from Beijing and knew how to make the noodles authentic. Service was prompt as the restaurant was pretty empty around 11:45 am on a Thursday. There seemed to be a few take out orders though. The environment like an neo-retro bar with music from the 80's playing. It's pretty cool. 1) the Kai burger combo was a $21.99 before tax and tip. Although the namesake of the restaurant is based on its burgers, I wasn't overall impressed by it for the price I paid. Ingredients were fresh but the burger meat was a bit too smashed and had some burned tastes to it. Also the double meat patties weren't cooked consistently throughout. The sauce and condiments in the burger reminded a bit too much like a McDonalds Big Mac. The bacon and mushrooms that came with in the burger got overwhelmed by the sauce and dlightly chares bits of burger patty. The fries and can of soda that came with the combo were not very impressive, though I suppose they are necessary add-ons when eating burgers. They did try very hard though on this burger as it looks very good. Taste needs tweaking though. 2) the Beijing Noodle was top notch. Noodles were well textured and nicely warmed. The Cucumber toppings and meat sauce were also very good. I wanted to actually eat these noodles more. The Chinese centered dishes are very good. Overall I would rate this establishment a solid 4. Their prices for their burger is not cheap and with a premium price for a burgers I expected a little more. If they included fries and a drink with the burger for $18.99 it might be a little better, but I would say a decent lunch around the area for a burger with fries ans drink would probably run around $15-$16. Their Chinese centered dishes are much more on point and fit the area along with what other Chinese establishments have been doing. Their dumplings and noodles are great. I commend them for striking out and trying something that the Chinese community here probably have never considered. But as a restaurant where "Burger and Dumplings" are part of your name, they need to step up the burger game. I remember during my first visit when they first opened that the owner said he wanted to directly compete with nearby Peter Lugers ‐ to give the Chinese community of Long Island an excellent steakhouse experience at a more affordable price with dishes that also fit Chinese taste. On next visit, I will be excited to try their steaks and other Chinese dishes. Looking forward to the next meal and next updated review.

For a place thats somehow known for dumplings this place left a little bit to be desired. The Zucchini Sticks were tasty enough but these Beef and Mushroom Dumplings made me feel like i was drowning in grease. I literally squirted oil out of every dumpling and grease soaked 5 napkins. Go for Steamed Dumplings instead you wont feel regret after.

We stopped here for lunch on a Saturday. I ordered the kaizilla quadrupole patty burger combo to which the waiter said "oh wow" so I'm guessing maybe no one orders it? My wife got a cucumber salad and soup dumplings. I thought the burger was excellent and would order it again and just needed more fries on the side. The cucumber salad was good and fresh with a nice spice. The soup dumplings were also good. The service was good as well.

I came here on tuesday night around 6pm ish. I liked the fact they have weekday (not sure about weekend) happy hour 2 for 1 drinks. The menu is extensive, ranging from burgers, philicheesesteak, steak, chinese food/dumpling/noodles to pasta! Its like you can come here everyday for something different. My wife had the skirt steak burger which was actual slices of steak within the burger which she enjoyed it (and generally she doesn't like burger). My daughter ordered spaghetti bolognese and it was just fine to me, nothing special. I had the chinese beef noodle soup which was mediocre, the noodle was the same spaghetti as my daughter but the beef was super tender. Overall I enjoyed my experience here and would def return to try other things.

Interesting fusion of food, burger and dumplings. Interior space must have been for an Irish pub previously. Super friendly staff, I parked on the street and needed quarters for my car and although he didn't have change, he offered a free quarter for 30 minutes of parking. The burger looked good, was juicy and sauced well enough however I wouldn't say it was the best tasting burger I've ever had. The dumplings fared better. Good skin texture, well seasoned shrimp and pork filling, and the crispy edges were yum!

We were traveling from out of town and meeting up with an old high school friend and Copperhill was the perfect place. They had a menu full of great selections ... from brunchy items to salads/sandwiches and great healthy selections too. Our server Cat D. also did a fine job of keeping us all very happy, she's a great server. I had the shrimp tacos which were very good. My husband and HS friend had the kale salad with a big piece of salmon on top. We all really enjoyed our meal and had plenty of time to catch up with each other. The restaurant itself is very nicely decorated with cool art and flowers/plant life. They did a great job with creating a cool vibe inside. It does get a little loud, so if you're looking for a quiet meal, brunch on a Sunday might not be the place. The restaurant gets pretty crowded.. and for a reason. Great service, food and ambiance can do that! I would definitely go back next time I'm in town.

Ultimately, our experience ended up right in the middle--some hits, but a few noticeable misses that kept it from being a stellar meal. The Highlights: The Coffee: Easily the absolute star of the morning! Rich, smooth, and brewed to perfection--it was easily the best part of the entire visit. The Atmosphere & Service: The overall setting is lovely, and the staff kept things polite and attentive throughout our meal. Where It Fell Short: The Drinks & Food: We ordered virgin mojitos, but the orange juice base tasted surprisingly flat and off, almost like it had been sitting out too long. The Omelette: I ordered a classic omelette, and while the presentation was decent, the execution was just plain bland. It felt like it was lacking key seasoning or fresh herbs to give it life, making the whole dish feel pretty uninspired. All in all, it felt a bit sub-par compared to the usual Roslyn dining standards. That said, brunch can be hit-or-miss depending on the day, and I'd still be open to coming back to give their dinner menu or other options another chance.

The restaurant, Gatsby's Landing, draws its name from the romantic nostalgia of The Great Gatsby. Situated near the Long Island Sound and Roslyn Pond, the setting offered a beautiful waterfront ambiance. My wife opted for the Baby Roasted Beets Salad, Salmon, and Crème Brûlée, while I chose the Lobster Bisque, Squid Ink Tonnarelli, and Tiramisu. The menu highlights their commitment to fresh, organic, and locally sourced ingredients - a promise they certainly delivered on. The dishes were both delicious and generously portioned. It was clear the kitchen doesn't skimp on quality; for instance, the lobster bisque was loaded with tender lobster meat, the squid ink tonnarelli featured an abundance of blue crab, and the salmon was a substantial, thick-cut fillet. The chef clearly possesses a mastery of technique, knowing exactly how to pair garnishes and balance flavors in perfect harmony. Furthermore, the waitstaff was both diligent and courteous. We can see why this establishment is so popular--the combination of exceptional cuisine, attentive service, and the serene lake views is hard to beat. However, there is one area for improvement: the restaurant should consider replacing their current chipped plates with larger, more elegant dinnerware. High-quality presentation would better reflect the dignity and caliber of the food they serve.

There's also a separate lounge and bar area if you want to skip the formal dining room and just want light tapas and drinks. Their website says everything is made in house including the desserts. I had dinner here once before but it's been a hot minute since (my pre-Yelp days). This visit was for a friend's birthday and I wanted to introduce French cuisine to her. It was a brisk night out but nice and warm inside. Parking lot is located in the rear of the shopping plaza where this restaurant is located. Onto the food: we started with cocktails and ordered wine to pair with our dinner. For starters, we ordered the poached artichoke gratinee. The presentation was quite pretty, seasoned with chives, parsley, and Parmesan crumbs. I love most foods with cheese! Not shy about that! We also ordered the Hudson Valley foie gras, paired with a port poached pear and honey served with a cranberry brioche. It's an acquired taste that I really enjoy but if you're not into liver, then this dish is not for you. My friends never had foie gras so I ordered this to introduce it to them. This was also the swap since they didn't want escargot (overplayed by reputation for the cuisine). The third appetizer we chose was the crispy octopus. So many flavors in that plate, think olives, red pepper hummus and potatoes served with it. This was a great shareable dish and the dish was delicious as well as appetizing. For dinner: we shared all three entrees, 1) Herb crusted Rack of lamb, which I ordered medium temp. Divine! 2) Veal Chatelaine had a nice chestnuts and sherry sauce, very tender, and 3) Filet of Sole en croute, which the fish was moist and tucked inside the pastry shell. A bit thicker pastry than expected but the first was nicely seasoned. For dessert as I said, it was a friends' birthday...so despite all that food, we ordered three desserts to share as well. The Pistachio Tartufo, the Tiramisu and the creme brulee. All were delicious for the flavor profiles they were but I definitely preferred the creme brulee. The Pistachio Tartufo was really good - packed a lot of flavor. The tiramisu was light and airy.
