As always Kalaveras Corona is my spot !!!!' Top notch five star service and the brunch is delectable. Great experience, great band Great service, great food. I came here to celebration my daughter's college graduation we did a brunch and when I say Kalaveras is the spot for a large party!!!!!! We had the back room ourselves and that why I love it. Not to mention the food and the drinks .... Bomb !!!!! Alan our waiter was attentive and on point. He had the mariachi band come out. Then they came with the sign and the candy shots...: what an amazing experience. Everyone has a great time. When I say I love it here... It's everything !!!!! Thanks Alan and management !!! I will be back that's a promise. I have so many good reviews for this place. I can't speak highly enough about it.

When we got there we waited a good while, maybe 10-15 min before drink order was taken. Then ordered appetizer & it came out 3 min before our meal. We had to Ask multiple times for refills that didn't get refilled. Water were not brought out when we had asked as our 1st drinks. Food was mediocre. Mole looked like paste, guacamole had no flavor, the barbacoa was super salty, they were serving their sodas from 2 liter bottles, not sure what that was about. The Chips tasted burnt. All in all I would not recommend this kalaveras as it did not seem like they were very organized or customer friendly. We have gone to the MoVal establishment & we have nothing but praise on that one. The only thing that was delicious was the flan, very creamy, Carmel tasted fresh & presentation was on point! Proceed with caution!

Went for Birthday lunch. Love the floral wall vibes. Our waitress Darlene was awesome, despite being only server our area she was attentive, welcoming and friendly. She and the bartender sung happy birthday totally made my day. I had the quessoBirira Tacos, Mexican candy shot (hibiscus), totally need that as a mixed drink loved it. And a chamoyrita blended. There was also chips, guacamole and chcirones for the table. Everything was flavorful and love when my hot food is hot. I also got the complimentary birthday ice cream which was a nice gesture.

This is my second visit and second review. I had hoped my first experience was a fluke but again I was not impressed and will not be going back. First of all the parking lot was almost completely full when I got there and only had 2 spots available. When I walked in I was expecting it to be busy with a wait because of the parking. Nope plenty of seating and was seated right away. My friend and I were meeting for our birthdays. While we were waiting we saw the birthday celebration which included blowing whistles, flashing strobe lights and a very large sombero. We quickly told the waitress we did not want that lol. The menu is small and everything was expensive. Guacamole was $14 tacos were $6-$8.50 each depending on what you got and only came with the taco, no sides. Margaritas were $18+ The food was ok. Nothing special, no extra flavorful or anything. When we were sitting and chatting a large band started setting up in the dining room. (Over 10 people in the band) when they started playing it was so loud we couldn't hear each other at all. I'm all for live music but I should still be able to hear the people sitting at my table or next to me. Even the tables around us were looking shocked at the sound level. We were glad that we had paid our check and could leave shortly after they started.

Angie great was helpful and quick. My mom loves their Flan. I think $13 is a little much for flan but she likes how they make it.?Their ambiance has a cool vibe.

Great food! The flavors pop and the overall cook was great. They have authentic Mexican 500ml Coca Cola to help wash down the spice. Their wings have a kick to them so be sure to get a Coke, . I enjoyed the sample platter and I look forward to returning.

Came here for lunch today and this plate did not disappoint! The chicken and sauce were savory! The customer service was on point, very attentive. If you're in the mood for some good Mexican food in a hip atmosphere, check this place out!

I've gone to Kalaveras in Long Beach but this was my first time in the Corona spot. A friend told me they had a different menu on the weekends but not sure. However, I really wanted their garbage burrito but this location didn't have it today (Sunday). Buffet is roughly $39 for adults and $19 for children. We ordered: Wet Klassic Burrito: 7/10 (I asked for Pastor and got Asada) Birria Tacos: 8/10 Green Enchiladas: 8/10 (needed more chicken) Staff/Server was perfect! Love the staff so much. Parking was full so had to do valet but they're complimentary!

Came here on Taco Tuesday. Such a great deal $1.99 each for street tacos stuffed to the brim with your choice of 8 different meats. There was also a side bar of toppings cilantro onions salsa etc. our server Darlene made our lunch even more enjoyable. Very courteous, great recommendations for our other table mates. Attentive making sure our chips were always hot and fresh. Our drinks never ran dry. Restaurant is super clean, music was appropriate but not too loud. The margaritas and cocktails looked great and were priced well, but we will have to come back to indulge since we had others stops to make. Overall just a nice relaxing way to spend our lunch time.

I've been to so many of these restaurants for their taco Tuesdays. They're all consistent. They all have good food and I love going during Halloween because they have spooky festive drinks. The service is always amazing It's consistent across the board I think I've been to about seven of these locations now and have always had excellent service. The restaurant is a cool vibe across all of them a fun decorative bar area right colors good music I've always had a good time.

This place exudes great energy the moment you walk in, thanks to the vibrant decor and upbeat music. The staff is warm and welcoming, adding to the overall experience. The tacos were absolutely delicious, the meat was perfectly cooked and packed with rich, bold flavors. They also offer a great variety of tacos, and surprisingly, the sushi is quite impressive too!

Thought I would give this place another chance since I was not real impressed the first time. Unfortunately this time was worse. My granddaughter and I went for taco Tuesday around noon. It wasn't that busy yet we waited and waited and waited for service. We ordered guacamole and queso. When that finally arrived we ordered our main course. I ordered one taco my granddaughter a burrito. Our drinks were never filled , we had to wave someone down to ask. Ordered a dessert they brought without silverware. Had to wait until our desert was cold to finally get silverware. All in all very frustrating . Not a great experience, certainly not relaxing or enjoyable. And BTW our lunch with tip was $95. Just not worth it. I won't go back!

Yes, there were a few disappointments along the way, but there were also some exceptional moments that influenced my bottom line rating. Our first impression was, this place is quite classy, both in decor and service. A wonderful date-night kind of place. If I had one criticism of their layout: there is no fancy al fresco dining, just a sliver of a patio alongside the parking lot. At least that means your furry friends can come along. No romantic view, and the heavy sound of freeway traffic is right outside the back door. But overall, it does not downplay the tasteful elegance you will find inside. The menu is a single page, a thoughtful diversity of choices without being overwhelmingly so, but also, with price tags that might take your breath away, at first. But we knew this walking in. We started with a Wedge Salad. The presentation was eye-popping. The iceberg lettuce was smothered in house-made buttermilk dressing (excellent), blue cheese crumbles freshly harvested from a fine wheel of cheese, and generous chunks of house-made, spicy sweet pork belly (oh, so good). This is a shareable salad, but if I had ordered nothing else, this could have been my meal, and I would have been sublimely happy. But then, Birthday Boy ordered their Baked Brie with raspberry bacon jam. Just so you know, I have never liked brie. But, after one bite, I was smitten. The brie and jam are perfectly baked inside a flaky crust, lightly dusted with powdered sugar, and plated on a big puddle of the most amazing honey butter sauce imaginable. I scraped it up with a spoon, but for the more civilized amongst us, it is intended to be delivered to your tummy via a crostini. Unabashed Clean Plate Club member here. I could have stopped right there. The Asparagus Fries were not as good. Five plump spears were coated in a parmesan panko crust, then fried. It lost its delicate flavor IMHO, due to an almost burnt crust. The two dips, a garlic aioli and a creamy sweet/smokey chipotle, were just OK. I could see a lemony hollandaise working nicely instead. Pass on this one, maybe their grilled version is better. We ordered one entree, the 16 oz. Double-cut Duroc Pork Chop. The menu said it came with a plum sage sauce. Actually, the sauce tasted more like apple, not plum, and was much too delicate and not herbal enough to enhance the porkiness. Besides not loving the flavor of the sauce, the thick chop is an extremely lean cut. The moistest, tenderest bites were alongside the rib bones. The chef did a wonderful job of maintaining a medium temperature (as requested) and the fried sage leaves on top were a very nice touch. This was a beautiful presentation with flair, but I personally thought it was missing the target for flavor, and I missed the fat. At the end of our meal, our server brought a huge plate decorated with a chocolate sauce message saying "Happy Birthday", plus two mini bites of cheesecake and a lighted candle. We declined any attention-getting song. He's too old for that frivolity. It was the thought that counts. My final indulgence was a slice of Key Lime Pie to bring home. For the price, $11, it was a disappointment. It was a very small slice. I could have been more forgiving, but it was also too sweet. I personally prefer a more tart version. It was topped with one fresh raspberry and a small poof of whipped topping, most likely a non-dairy version, very heavy tasting and unappealing. This I would not repeat. One noteable strength was the superb service. Our server, Savandra, was delightful and fun, hard working, and appropriately attentive. We also had the pleasure of talking with the manager, Ignacio, who has a very impressive background in fine dining. They both made our visit most memorable, for all the right reasons.

Since it is open air, I imagine midday can get warm and winter evenings a bit chilly, but they have plenty of heaters scattered throughout to keep things comfortable. Our server was fantastic and took the time to explain that everything is made completely from scratch, from the breads and pastas to every sauce, and the quality truly speaks for itself. The food and drinks: Chili Garlic Fries: Super crispy with bold flavor and the perfect level of kick. The house ranch served alongside is incredible. Caesar Salad: A classic, straightforward Caesar that was fresh, crisp, and exactly what you'd expect. Bolognese: Generous portion (easily shareable!) loaded with tender, flavorful chunks of meat. The creamy ricotta on top pulls the entire dish together. Carbonara: Truly authentic. Made the traditional way with egg yolks, black pepper, cheese, and savory pork bits with no heavy cream shortcuts. The pasta itself was cooked to an absolute, perfect al dente. Drinks: The NA tea was refreshing, and the fig infused bourbon Old Fashioned had wonderful flavor notes from the infusion, though it leaned slightly on the sweeter side. Quick tip on finding it: The entrance is not inside the main hotel lobby. We will absolutely continue coming back, just unfortunately not as often as we used to. We were regular Thursday night customers because we absolutely loved Music Bingo. My husband, my two daughters, and I would come together as a family almost every Thursday. It became something we genuinely looked forward to each week. Thursdays used to be packed, sometimes so crowded that it was hard to find a seat. There was such a fun atmosphere, with different tables bantering with each other, laughing, competing, and getting into the music. We enjoyed it so much that we even brought prizes for the host to give away. It was more than just playing bingo; it was the whole experience and energy of the night. Unfortunately, since the new Music Bingo host took over, the experience has completely changed. We even tried talking to him about it, and he told us that as long as he is running Music Bingo, he will never use the app and will continue doing everything on paper. He uses the same card for the entire two-hour game, which means that even if you arrive late, you essentially have no chance of winning. That takes away a huge part of what made the game exciting and competitive. I do want to be fair and say that we know he also hosts trivia on Tuesdays, and we actually like his approach to trivia. His style seems to work well for that format. Unfortunately, that same approach just doesn't seem to vibe with Music Bingo. Music Bingo needs a different kind of energy, interaction, and flair, and sadly, that has been missing. The host has also been rude to us when we've tried to discuss our concerns, which has made the experience even less enjoyable. The difference in the Thursday night atmosphere is very noticeable. Thursdays used to be packed and full of energy, and now the place is often nearly empty. The fun atmosphere and camaraderie we used to look forward to are simply gone. We understand that he runs the game on his own and is entitled to run it how he wants. At the end of the day, though, the format and the overall vibe have changed enough that our family no longer wants to make Thursday nights a regular part of our week. That's especially disappointing because this was something all four of us genuinely enjoyed doing together. We are still giving The Brass Tap five stars because the restaurant itself, the food, and the rest of the staff have always been fantastic. We will definitely come back for those things. We just won't be coming back as often for Music Bingo. Hopefully, at some point, Music Bingo can become the fun, lively, interactive experience it used to be. We would love to have a reason to look forward to Thursday nights again.

The food selection was very limited and mostly steamed, which didn't help with flavor or texture. That said, the omelette bar and the chilaquiles were solid -- definitely the highlight of the meal. Everything else was pretty underwhelming for a $40 price tag. They offer bottomless mimosas, but here's the kicker: it's only for women. Men have to pay an extra $15. That gender pricing didn't sit right with me. On the plus side, the service was great. The servers were friendly and attentive throughout. But overall, the place gives off more of a nightclub vibe than a brunch spot. Also -- pro tip -- the final amount you pay can vary depending on whether you use cash or card, so be mindful. Not worth the price in its current state, but it might have potential if they rework the food and atmosphere.

We constantly see people coming in and out, so we finally decided to give it a shot. Our bartender, Mel. Hopefully I spelled her name right, was super friendly and made us feel welcome. I had the Raspberry Mule, and my wife had the MVP. Both drinks were great! I think it's safe to say we found our new watering hole. We'll definitely be back!

It was a lot of people cheering for Norway and everyone seem to be having a good time. Rather loud with all the tvs and light chatter but the cool AC beats sitting in the outdoor patio. Some seats had reservations on them too. Theres a large couch too for large groups that seem fun with friends. We ordered a beer, ginger ale, chicken wrap with fries, and cauliflower. It was a lot of food for two but the average person that comes here probably appreciates the large portion size. The chicken was coated with sauce and had a spinach tortilla. It was so satiable. The servers were all prompt and seem to juggle many roles like bartending and bussing as well. They were quick to take our order and easy to waive down to ask for a side of pickles since they were always moving around even if they were a few. Two single stall bathrooms. One per gender: Place seems very clean and the bar looks well stocked and organized. Floor was a bit sticky near the bathrooms. I would come again.

She recommended the salmon wrap with sweet potato fries and this sweet sauce on the side and OMGGG... so freaking good!! This time it was just my bestie and me for some much-needed girl time. We paid the usual $10 entry fee and enjoyed the 11 AM-2 PM brunch. Before 2 PM, my bestie asked the waitress if they were closing for the next brunch session. She said NO. So we stayed. The waitress closed our tab because she was leaving, and we paid it. Then somehow we were charged ANOTHER $10 entry fee... even though we never left. Make it make sense. Then we ordered the exact same tequila & OJ drinks we'd been drinking all day. Suddenly the $10 drink became $10 + $1.50 for OJ, PLUS the 20% brunch gratuity. Listen, I don't mind paying for a good time, but the random, inconsistent charges are giving make up the price as we go. We love the vibe, but somebody needs to explain these charges because the math ain't mathing.

They also had festive decor up for the World Cup, which was playing on the TVs and added a great energy to the room. The service was awesome! Our server was incredibly friendly and spoke to us like we'd been friends for years. She was so cool. We ended up staying for hours just enjoying the vibe of the brunch crowd and the soccer fans. Food & Drinks: LOVED! The Mimosa Flight (~$9 per drink): We shared this between two people and it comes with 8 different flavors! It included peach, pineapple, strawberry, cranberry, orange, pomegranate, and I think mango (can't remember the last one, sorry!). I love that the glasses were actually filled. I watched them make them, and it's a majority of champagne with just a splash of juice. Chilaquiles: This has become my absolute favorite breakfast dish lately, so I try it everywhere. It was very yummy here! It comes with eggs, and I added steak for some extra protein. The presentation was beautiful, too. Highly recommend! Steak & Eggs: My friend ordered a dish that had a different name on the menu, but it was essentially steak and eggs. She said it was absolutely delicious. The bathroom was clean, and I noticed they have a changing table available as well, which is always a great plus. Overall, I had a really good time eating, drinking, and talking here. I will definitely be back!

This experience was very frustrating when we had been waiting for an hour just sitting there…read more There is nothing worse than sitting there getting hungrier by the minute, only to realize the kitchen doesn't even know you exist--especially on your Birthday. They took our drink order 20 mins from when we got there. I asked for my water and the sever replies, "oh, you want a refill" that moment just added insult to injury, since I never had gotten my water from the beginning only my coffee... A total chaos and a complete failure on the service of the restaurant especially on my birthday breakfast that was ruined. My friend had to scramble to find an stress-free do-over meal soon to make up for this disaster. We ended up at Tacos Al Fuego and had a wonderful experience...
