Mocha add Caramel, Chocolate Chip Cookie
    Jennifer C.

Randomly, I decided to stop in for a coffee and a cookie. Ordered a Mocha Latte add Caramel and a chocolate chip cookie. As I tried to identify a seat, I noticed this place had quite a bit of flies. So much so, that I caught the barista shooing one away as he was wrapping up my coffee order. I took a seat at the window and I just felt uncomfortable. To add, the Latte had 0 sweetness and I felt perplexed since I had both mocha and Caramel in mine. The cookie was OK, but not enough to salvage this visit. They need to do something about the flies.

This has been one of my favorite spots for years! Every time I go back, I am reminded why it is always at the top of my list. I love the back room space for working, the amazing house made vanilla syrup, and the avocado toast! My drinks are always out quickly and I feel like I am always surprised at how fast I get my food! I know this is a spot I will continue to come to time and time again.

This was my first time to Kaldi's, and I'll definitely be back next time I'm in St. Louis. The food is all prepared from scratch, so it feels a lot fresher than other chain coffee shops. I really enjoyed the egg sandwich on a bagel. I enjoyed my coffee as well. There was plenty of seating to sit and work on the computer or chat with friends, and there was a nice outdoor seating area for when the weather is nice. The coffee and food all came out quickly, and I thought everyone was super friendly. Overall an enjoyable experience.

What an adorable neighborhood spot! I love the ample outdoor seating, and with it being so close to the park, folks were definitely taking advantage. The interior is quaint and cute as well! I met a friend here for a walk, and we got an iced coffee, cookie, and water bottle. Later on, I went back for lunch. I didn't realize this was a vegetarian spot until I looked closer at the menu! Some of vegan and gluten free options as well, though the menu was pretty limited. It took longer than expected to get my order, but overall had good flavor. I opted for the breakfast bowl and enjoyed everything but it being on top of legguce - the hot elements warmed up and made the lettuce soggy. If I were to go back, I'd ask to sub something else (like more quinoa) or get something else on the menu.

Cold Brewed Iced Coffee and Espresso Hat

Got some good coffee, a GREAT gluten free pastry, and a cute hat. So happy I stopped in on my work trip!

Large coffee shop near the university. Lots of students but still great for non students to lounge. Iced vanilla latte - typical coffee snob and not overly sweet. The breakfast burrito is very delicious however it took a while for it to be served. Overall the vibe is why I gave this place a high rating.

Iced Ube latte- The best tasting and prettiest iced coffee drink I've ever had
    Kerry T.

I stopped by Kaldi's after dropping my son off at Wash U. I wanted an iced coffee, but didn't have anything in mind. They had a special Ube latte that sounded good, so I ordered an iced Ube latte. It knocked my socks off! It is literally the best iced coffee drink I have ever had and it's gorgeous! I sat inside and drank it and the location and space are beautiful. The Ube latte was so good I came back the very next day to order another one. It would be an obsession if I lived closer. All of their drink specials looked amazing and they definitely know what they are doing.

Came to meet a colleague here to chit chat and run my motor lol! Order: Drip Coffee Pros: the pour over coffee was soooo good. I csnt remember which one it was but I know it was one of their popular ones. There was no bitter, stale, or burnt taste to the coffee. The flavors shined through and I didnt need much cream or sugar. Seating was great and the weather was nice. Ohhhh and the presentation was nice as well! Made the drink extra special!! Cons: none

But right off the bat was one of my pet peeves: QR menus. Maybe when the pandemic was at its worst, they were necessary, but we've learned to live with it, so let's go back to physical menus. The service was super friendly, with our server training a newbie. We started with the Arepas con Platanos Maduros, a corn cake with veggie crumbles and platanos. They were really good. I'm always up for a dish with maduros, so I was happy to see this. For our main course, my boyfriend got the jambalaya, while I got the mushroom ravioli. He loved his dish. Mine was decent, but unless you love brussels sprouts, you may find them a bit overwhelming. I found myself wishing I'd ordered the katsu sandwich. (They were out of the maitake mushroom dish that looked interesting.) For dessert, we got the dark chocolate and tahini budino, a rich mousse, and the cinnamon bread pudding that was coved in a toasted aquafaba whip that was just divine. If, like me, you don't drink, you'll be glad to know the restaurant has a few zero-proof cocktails. I loved my Smokey Orchard, smooth drink with zero-proof whiskey, apple, rosemary, and lemon. My boyfriend got the Rhinestone Cowboy, which does have alcohol. Overall, it was a good experience, and I would recommend it to folks visiting.

Then we spent the next 10 minutes trying to walk back to our car while having an app explained to us so "you can check for open tables at other places." There were maybe 3 people eating in the entire front area.
