This seriously addicting coffee shop, which started in Santa Barbara, has been a Ventura favorite for quite some time now, and it's been so fun watching them grow. Nestled in a charming converted cottage, this cozy café is the perfect addition to Downtown Ventura. When I stopped by over the weekend, they were insanely busy so I wasn't able to capture much of the space itself for photos but I can promise you it's a cute spot. We opted for outside table dining and it was lovely. To order you stand in line and then order at the counter, they'll bring the food back to your table, but they will call you up to grab your drinks. We ordered a couple of iced lattes and their famous Bella Rose - iced matcha, which was absolutely gorgeous and just as delicious. 10/10. Their drinks are truly little works of art and always worth ordering. To finish off brunch, we grabbed a couple of bagels. One of my favorites is their toasted bagel with tomato, avocado, and cream cheese, it's simple and so satisfying. Next time I'll be trying one of their fruit bowls. The staff here are absolute rockstars. They crank out drink after drink with a smile on their faces while keeping the atmosphere welcoming and fun. For the matcha it was more bitter than sweet and was not balanced enough for my taste. I love when my matcha isn't overpowered by the milk which is why I did not enjoy this drink. I felt that I could taste more of the milk than the matcha. For the pistachio latte I did enjoy that the espresso was strong but the latte lacked pistachio flavor overall. I was expecting the latte to have a strong pistachio flavor was you could barely taste hints of it. I love the minimalist interior inside and is great they have outside seating. The drinks were ready fairly quickly but we also went when it was not super busy. I would love to come back and try some of their pastries because I hear great things about those as well.

All to say, research where you wish to walk about, find a meter or free parking lot - enough around, and put on your good yet cute walking shoes because you'll enjoy strolling about after your meal here - or drink. FOOD: I sooo loved my grill cheese. Instead of mushrooms I swapped for spinach - you're welcome. AND THE PICKLE ON THE SIDE - delish! So why 4 and not 5?
