    Tuna Bellini and rice
    Angela W.

We had a pleasant welcome as we walked into the bright airy space. Came for lunch, not really hungry...just wanted something to eat since it's lunch time. Ordered a tuna Bellini, bowl of rice and some salmon sashimi. I made myself a tuna poke bowl by mixing tuna+rice--marinated tuna is tasty with their special sauce, very refreshing Sashimi is fresh...I shared some rice with my hubby. Service is cheery, green tea is complimentary, food is good value...surely will be back again to try some 'cooked' food.

Found this hidden gem by chance while driving around Tsawwassen Mills. We were looking for something with rice and noodles, and this one came on the signboard. The menu is pretty good, covers all basic Japanese food you can find in Vancouver, and taste is great. I will say is a comfort food for Japanese food lovers. The highlight was sushi tower, with tuna, salmon, ebi, imitation crab meat, avocados with special sauce. Ambience is quiet and spacious, and the staff were amazing, attentive and polite. It was a good experience overall. Thank you Kamome staff!

So we got here an hour before they were closing and I was surprised they were willing to seat us. Because there was five of us and we were going to order a lot. So much that I forgot to take pictures of some of them. Anyways service was nice, but the waitress mixed up my order for the unagi flame roll and just gave me the unagi roll. Pretty sad about that. Everyone else got there order right and I did not want to order another roll considering we had a lot to finish. Oh well. We basically got a lot of their specialty rolls. Nothing ever really stands out when I eat rolls because a lot of them tends to be drenched in some kind of sauce. Although the Rolls Royce Roll was unique in the fact that it was not raw fish. It was basically a grilled beef bulgogi roll. It was alright. Felt heavier to eat compared to the other rolls. Gyoza was solid and everything else just looked pretty and was just alright to eat. Appreciate a sushi place in this area and definitely caters to the sushi roll eating crowd a bit more. If you enjoy sushi rolls, sure, come here. They have some unique stuff going for it. They just need to go easy on the sauces a bit. Worth a try though.

If you are ever here to do your shopping ( Tsawwassen Mills ), this will be a great choice for you to relax ... sip on some sake or enjoy a tall glass of Japanese beer!! Of course, the food here is another good reason...with an extensive menu ( see photos posted by another Yelper ) you will for sure find something that will satisfy your cravings!! My first experience of their Chicken Teriyaki Lunch Comb was very pleasant, all the dishes are made to order and I can tell, they do not pre-make anything here, even the tempura prawn that is included is piping hot and very light & crispy! The chicken was tender and very well seasoned, I particularly like the Smoked Salmon Roll that is included! Service is friendly and very efficient, both ladies were very pleasant and we also got our tea refilled without asking! Nice touch nowadays!! Tables are very very well spaced and we feel very safe and relaxed, other Covid protocols are also observed. Of course parking here is not an issue, and if you are here before your shopping, I am sure you will be all energized after a nice meal!!

During the no dine in policy, we discovered ver this gem near Tsawwassen Mill mall, its our first time to order here and damn it was so good. They do have fusion foods which are new to our taste. These arw just one of the orders we had as we came back here more for their yummy Hot Chicken Bowl and did try their other menus. During this order we had.. Korean Fried Chicken ($12.95) - crispy and spicy, it crunch in every bite Shroom Broom ($11.95)- this was new to us its a delicious mixed of baked mushroom and fresh seafoods Hot Chicken Bowl ($15.95) so good became our favourite, we ordered it every time, its a stone bowl supposed to be, but still it was so good, the sauce and cheesy chicken with rice was so satisfying, highly recommended when you visit them Calamari salad ($9.95) Seafood Salad (11.95)-- both salads were fresh with original delicious dressing Angry Jalapeno (10.95) - spicy yet flavoursome Yam Nest (8.95) looks pretty but not a favourite maybe some sauce for the yam instead of just a decor for the sushi Seafood Teriyaki ($18.95) - gracefully added with seafoods, we had it the next day and it was still so good. So yea, once again this is an awesome restaurant that I can recommend near Tsawwassen Outlet mall, try them out whether your in Tsawwassen to shop, visited the beach or coming from the Ferry its a good spot for Japanese fusion foods.

I am visiting Point Roberts Washington from West Virginia currently. I was hired and flown out to remodel a house. There's really no place to eat or no place to go in Point Roberts Washington. This was my first day trip into Canada and I decided to go get some food. I love sushi and Japanese food in general. I'm so glad I found this place. It is centrally located with lots of parking. And seats for hundred people. When I came in there was only a couple of of people. A table of two. As soon as I came in I was greeted by the chefs behind the bar. Immediately seated by a very lovely pleasant waitress who had a lot of patience as I asked a bunch of questions about the menu. I needed to get on Wi-Fi also and immediately she came back with the information to get on Wi-Fi. I don't think she spoke much English as I sensed she was a true Japanese waitress. She understood every question and answered it. So she probably speaks much more English than I may gather. But she was very kind and willing to answer any questions. I ordered Lunch C. Which was extremely delicious. The chicken teriyaki came with perfectly cooked and flavorful vegetables. The rolls and the tempura were also extremely delicious. The price seemed very affordable and reasonable also. The prices are in Canadian dollars. The ambience in the setting is marvelous. I can see if it's crowded it could get noisy and Service could at that point be a little slow. Although I ordered my lunch special and it came so fast I was amazed. I will not hesitate coming here again. Personally to me it's the top end of five stars. I'll give them an A+. And I was wrong about the waitress. She's from Korea and her name is Ciao. I'm not sure if I'm spelling it right. But I thought it was really interesting that I ordered lunch C from her. Pronounced C-O. I asked to take her picture but she was a little too shy I also asked a couple as they left. And left me alone in this lovely restaurant. If they enjoyed their food? And they said definitely and I found out that they're locals and they come here often. In fact the wife suggested I order exactly what I did. A great experience. And I did not finish all my food. I also complemented the chefs on the way out. And the bathroom was immaculate.

=== 1. VERDICT/VALUE A hidden gem of a Japanese restaurant in Tsawwassen where good eats, good service, and good prices come together - recommended for friends and family if you're in the area! === 2. FOOD With a wide ranging menu on tap, we ordered on this day: - Salmon Sashimi ($15.95): you could get the sockeye salmon for $1 more, but this set of seven fattier (creamier!) pieces hit the spot just nicely... - Dynamite & California Combo ($11.95): six pieces of each; what's interesting is that they go a little lighter on the mayo, but also on the cucumber...which means imitation crab lovers would love these rolls! - Unagi Flame Roll ($17.95): it's really a California roll with eel on top - fantastic tasting. The alcohol lit on fire for 15 seconds is nice (but could be skipped). - Vege Yaki Udon ($10.95): it's like a vegetable party in a bowl - packed with asparagus, cabbage, cucumbers, bean sprouts, carrots, and broccoli - all al dente and tasty with the udon noodles. === 3. SERVICE & ENVIRONMENT During COVID, tables are spaced out; however, on a regular day, it looks like the sparse but clean and bright interior could fit large and small groups. The open space lends itself well to those with wheelchairs and baby strollers. Service was friendly (especially towards my two-year old!), and reasonably fast given how busy the restaurant was at dinner time. The restaurant is tucked away amid all other shops and so parking is typically plentiful in the shopping complex lot outside.

We went to Kamome for dinner as we were in Tsawwassen coming back from the island and were craving sushi. Based on the reviews on Yelp, we decided to give Kamome a try. They had lots of open tables and we were quickly seated. We got the mango avocado roll, unagi roll, salmon tempura roll, and the red mountain roll. For the red mountain roll, we got the spicy sauce on the side and I do have to say it ended up being my favourite roll. The salmon tempura roll also had a lot of great flavor and would recommend. The mango avocado and unagi roll were pretty standard but we had no complaints about either of them. A great choice for sushi if you're ever out near Tsawwassen Mills or near the ferry terminal!

    Tofu teriyaki + golden roll

I really like this new sushi restaurant that has opened right next to my house! This review is on behalf of my take out experience, which was lovely. I called ahead of time and placed an order for my brother and I. I got a tofu teriyaki bowl and the golden roll (cali roll w/ sweet potato and tempura flakes on top) and my brother got the hot chicken bowl and the deep fried combo (consisted of the deep fried cali roll, deep fried spicy tuna roll, and madman roll). Everything was delicious! I do wish there were more assorted veggies in my tofu bowl than the pile of bean sprouts though. Besides that the roll was delicious and I stole a piece of deep fried spicy tuna roll from my brother which I really liked. The lady on the phone was very efficient and friendly and made sure to repeat my order back to me twice. When I went to pick up the food, the staff members had everything ready to go and settled my bill very quickly. The restaurant itself is large and very modern. I'm going to bring my family back here to dine in. Looking forward to trying more rolls from here!

First time to try and we had a great dinner here. We ordered Ishi Yaki, NY Steak Teriyaki, Prawn Tempura, Calamari Roll and my new favourite Mary Kim. Everyone was helpful and friendly. Service was fast. Place was really clean and the washroom too. We will surely be back!

The staffs/owner were very friendly and made great recommendations. Had the hamachi carpaccio, so refreshing and appetizing. The homemade ponzu (lemony) sauce has a nice finish with thin sliced onions and veggies. The Engawa Arburi nigiri was recommended, and it was phenomenal. It is the 'fin edge' of flounder. Super delicate, with seared (arburi) flavor and melts in your mouth. Yum! The other highlight was the Wagyu beef cubes severed on stick. Two skewers 4 cubes each. The Wagyu was perfectly cooked. It melts in your mouth with every bite. We also enjoyed the 7 piece Omakase sushi set. The fish was very fresh and satiating. Love the lotus root chips garnishing. We loved everything we had but would likely skip the Omakase appetizer Platter. Perhaps we were spoiled by the hamachi carpaccio appetizer. We still enjoyed it but For the same price, we would prefer the sushi set. It had 9 small plates in a beautiful serving box including- tiny sashimi cube of salmon, tuna, tamago, and my fav is the komochi nishin (herring fillets ("Nishin") layered over a base of crunchy capelin roe), also included in the tiny plates of apps were, chicken karaage, baby taco, sliced taco, taco in red sauce, and seaweed salad. We look forward to be back!!!!!

We sat in a separate section of the restaurant with 3 tables at the front. We ordered chicken wings, assorted tempura, miso black cod and an order of beef teriyaki that was not on the menu. The servings are very small for the prices charged. We found that the chicken wings (only 4 small wings) $9.50 were a bit dry. The tempura batter was not as crisp or crunchy as we've had. The miso black cod was a very small portion - maybe 4 oz. for $18.00. We did not feel that there was value for the money. The food was average and the prices were too high for the quality and amount of food received. We did not enjoy the anime that was playing and we were glad that we were not sitting in the main dining room. Overall, we feel that there are better options for a Japanese meal.
