I finally went to try out this restaurant. Did not get the ambience I was looking for. Space is actually great. Didn't feel the welcome vibe. Server was polite and friendly. I ordered the teri beef combo, side gau gee and side spaghetti salad. So, spaghetti salad was overpowering with the onions. French fries were cold, probably sitting under a heating lamp for how long. Sandwich was okay. Tasteful. However, beef was tough. Overall, they have other items I would like to try so I'll go back.

We're back on the ninth island, Las Vegas and hungry for local food!! Aina Saimin was our choice for lunch. A little back ground on Saimin. It's a Hawai'i thing so you won't find a Saimin Stand in Japan. Saimin was made up during the plantation days when all the worker would get together for lunch. The noodles actually came from the Chinese. The other ethnic groups added to the dashi or broth. So if you're in Vegas looking for some Saimin with BarBQ burger, Teri burger or old style BarBQ stick this is the place!! My noodles were cooked just right not over cooked. Great tasting dashi not salty. You gotta get BarBQ stick or BarBQ burger. I got the regular BarBQ burger but my wife's deluxe was better. Our waitress "Lash" was really nice and friendly. We found out that the owners are from Hawaii, so there you go, support local!! Only locals know Saimin! Oh no forget they have Green River drink!!! Check them out and bring family and friends.

Second time here. Super bummed that they didn't have guri guri! the Teri burger and fries tastes like home! Wish they didn't pack my crispy wontons because they steamed and got soggy! Wish the Korean chicken had more sauce.

This place is always packed and for good reason! The food tastes so fresh and flavorful and you can't beat the value! A great place to eat alone or with the family if you're craving some Hawaiian Saimin. Highly recommend!!

Go to loco moco!!!!! Susie Q burger was great! Thanks for the quick and delicious food!!!

What a treat outside the strip in Vegas. Definitely a hidden aloha gem with great food and service and cozy ambiance. Their pricing is affordable and the portions are pretty big. Everything is so authentic and I can taste they put lots of love in it. The loco moco is amazing, great quality of meat and the gravy is something else, not too salty and runny. It's all in perfection. It's one of the best Hawaiian food in Vegas!

First time here and I'm already a fan! We ordered the teri burger, garlic chicken, loco moco, gau gee, and I tried my new favorite drink -- Green River! My Hawaiian partner told me it's a classic Hawaiian drink but super rare to find here in Vegas, so that alone made the meal extra special. The food was delicious and felt like real comfort Hawaiian-style cooking. Everything tasted fresh, flavorful, and made with care. And for the quality you get, the prices are incredibly reasonable! My partner even mentioned that the restaurant's vibe reminds him of the small local spots back home in Hawaii -- simple, welcoming, and all about good food. I'll definitely be back, especially since it's only a quick 3-minute drive from my house! Highly recommend if you're craving great food, great value, and a little taste of Hawaii in Vegas.

Cute little spot in the southwest side of Vegas off Rainbow near Blue Diamond that has the feel of Hawai'i style saimin stand. The aunty at the front counter was nice as always and food came out super quick. I ordered their promoted bucket of chicken 20/ $15. I thought it was wings from the photos online BUT they are nuggets of chicken. Nonetheless these are some DELICIOUS nuggets of chicken! They have garlic and salt and vinegar and OMGoodness they are so flavorful, hot, juicy and FRESH. I will definitely be back for more because this is a MUST try for sure.

I would say food is ok, very simple. Not much flavor in my opinion. My kids love it though. The garlic chicken was the best thing we ordered. Sweet and savory. Good chunks of chicken. The Saimin didn't have much flavor, I added shoyu to give it a little extra something. For $15 (large) the quantity and quality was just not there. The burgers were good, I liked the char, extra teriyaki sauce made it better. Kinda small, I recommend getting two to fill you up. Overall, I think for the quality of the saimin it's a bit pricey, but the garlic chicken and burger (by itself) is fairly priced. Getting the green river was the real winner. TBH my expectations were high and I was underwhelmed. Seating was limited, but service was good.

Great restaurant with local comfort food. This place reminds me of back home. I ordered the wonton min and my daughters ordered the French fries, garlic chicken, Suzy Q burger, side spaghetti Mac and their version of Guri Guri. All that's missing is musubi. Everything came out fast, hot and tasty. Price point was decent. I will definitely spread the word and come back again.

First time here. Saw it as I was driving by on the way home, and figured I could get something here for lunch. I went inside and saw you could place a To-Go order. I ultimately decided on the large order of Garlic Chicken. Total was $17.17 ($15.17 food $2.00 tip). The food came out quick, maybe less than 5 minutes. Upon getting home, this plate lunch came with 8 pieces of Korean Chicken bites. I really wish I had 9 or 10 pieces just cause there was so much rice. It came with a side of "spaghetti salad" in a container. Instead of Mac salad with elbows, they just use spaghetti noodles instead. All in all, it was just okay. Not convinced that I'd get this plate again. 4/5 Stars.

young man who gave me impeccable service

Came here the other day and all i have to say are good things. these are some of the best prices i have seen for hawaiian food within the valley! it's only $14 for a plate of garlic chicken and two big scoops of rice if you go anywhere else they'll charge around $20 for it. the chicken is very juicy and fresh. the service was quite amazing as well i had a young man named jayden who served me today and made my experience at this diner amazing. the atmosphere of the store was very pretty as well and very welcoming.

Ever since I heard about Saimin in Vegas I couldn't wait to check them out. Service - 5 Food unfortunately was hit and miss - Teri Burger and BBQ stick - 5, Saimin broth and noodles 3.5 Suzy Q and Gau gee - 3. Goodie wasn't quite ready but we appreciate the sample. It's hard with Zippy's and Ohana close by. Always trying to support local businesses.

We dropped in for a late dinner at 8PM, driving there directly from Zion National Park after hiking Angel's Landing. It was still surprisingly busy inside and we even had to wait a bit for a table! The waitress first brought over some cucumber lemon water, then took our order. The food only took about 10 minutes to arrive. Spicy Beef Noodle, Knife Shaved ($15.97) - Whew that broth. It's like cough city on the first sip, that chili and sichuan peppercorn mixture really gets into the throat. It then transitions into a robustly beefy, salty, and even slightly sweet flavor. It's so beefy it's almost gamey in taste. The heat is actually very balanced, although after sipping on it throughout the meal, I started getting pretty sweaty even with the AC on blast in the building. The beef is great. it's fatty and has connective silverskin still attached; it's like the best part of the tendinous shank. Other than that there's the perfectly cooked, bouncy knife shaved noodles, and a couple of leaves of crunchy blanched bok choy. (5/5) Beef Pancake ($9.75) - I thought these would be dry like shao bing (I have never had 餡餅 before) but construction took us totally by surprised. The beef pancakes are almost like a flatter, beef version of sheng jian bao, complete with juicy beef aspic. The wrapper is chewy and thinner than a typical SJB, but works well here; it's not thin enough to cause holes that leak juice out. The meatball inside is beefy and flavorful, albeit not as tender as a typical pork meatball. The taste of both the juice and beef are very allium forward and full of umami. (5/5) Dan Dan Noodle, Hand Pulled Noodle ($13.97) - The topping is a cold meat and preserved veggie mixture, minced finely until very tender and soft. It's combined with plenty of sesame paste and peanuts, giving an overwhelming nuttiness. The noodles, in this case the hand pulled one, work exceptionally well, being perfectly cooked and staying the same bouncy consistency throughout the meal. My experience with the hand pulled noodles in broth at the other Shang location was that the noodles got too soft only ten or fifteen minutes sitting in the broth. I would definitely get hand pulled only with dry dishes. On the bottom of this dish is a really spicy sauce, both in heat and mala numbness. It's very fragrant and lemony even through there's not much red color. The dish as a whole is far more spicy overall than the Spicy Beef Noodle. (5/5) The portions Shang Artisan Noodle serves are huge. We hiked Angels Landing before eating dinner here and we were only able to finish about half our meal. Shang Artisan Noodle serves some really great noodle dishes. There's a reason we keep coming back for more! Bathrooms - Two individual rooms, one for women, one for men

It is located in a strip mall with an abundance of convenient parking. Inside, they had nice tables and bench seating and also had a couple of nice sized round tables with lazy Susans for larger families. We arrived around 7:30-ish and it was quiet with one or two other parties dining. Their take-out business appeared to be robust, which was a good sign that they must be doing something right with their offerings. Menu is pretty standard fair. Noodles in broth with beef shank, various dumplings, rice plates and dry noodle dishes. We started with the deep fried spring rolls which were tasty. The wrapping was very thin and delicate and had a nice crunch for each bite. There are six in an order, which is a great value. Wife ordered the Lucky Beef Noodle which has a mildly spicy broth. She asked for half the normal amount of noodles, as she feels that the noodles end up soaking up a lot of broth. I ordered the Beef Soup with Dumplings, which is basically what my wife ordered without the noodles. I wanted noodles added, so they were gracious and added the noodles my wife did not want to my order. The broth was flavorful and mild, not much of a kick. But the pork and cabbage dumplings included in my order were out of this world delicious and paired perfectly with the beef and its broth. I highly recommend this specific dish! If you are in search for Taiwanese food, give them a shot. Good quality, fresh food that is nicely flavored!

Our waitress and waiter were both very nice. Service is great here. I have no complaints regarding that! I started by ordering their Hot Tea Pot in the Genmaicha Tea, which is refillable ($3). The tea was good. I must've had it refilled about three times. The husband got the Asahi draft. For the food orders, we started with the cholegi salad, takoyaki, and chicken karaage. While the cholegi salad was good, I'd have to say I've had better chicken karaage elsewhere. Unfortunately, I'm going to have to skip the chicken karaage next time. It was lacking in flavor so I asked for table salt to sprinkle on top of it. For the main dish, our party ordered beef sukiyaki udon, tendon, tuna and avocado poke don, nabeyaki udon, and kake udon. Everyone enjoyed their entrees. For dessert, we got everything that was on the menu so that we could sample them. I particularly enjoyed their matcha pudding in that it was more than what the picture showed. There were layers of azuki beans and black sugar syrup underneath the green pudding.
