"Professional" sushi eater here. Probably one of the best spots I've found in the K-town area. Everything is fresh period. Excellent quality. Beautiful presentation. My suggestion...go with a couple others and get the medium sashimi plate. The "ban chan" is a couple plates of excellent pieces of abalone, clam, and other specialty items. And then the sashimi plate comes out and you're blown away by its freshness. Can't repeat that enough. The service is top notch. And then the tempura, the nurunbap and then the mauntang! All this is a full meal with the sashimi. They keep bringing out amazing dishes along throughout your meal. Me and my husband love sushi, so we have gone to so many different sushi restaurants in different cities but this place was truly hidden gem. It's very authentic place so if you want fancy and high end vibe sushi restaurant, this place is not for you. Very rude and absolutely terrible customer service. I called ahead of time to check if they were open since google stated they were open until 11 pm. We arrived at 7:15, 15 minutes before our 7:30 pm time only to be told by the hostess after driving 35 minutes to the location that they were closed. I've never had Korean sashimi before and now I'm a huge fan after our dinner here. The fish was incredibly fresh (the chef said he goes to the fish market every morning) and the dishes were flavorful and delicious. They also give you so much food over multiple courses so come here hungry!! Tried this place with friend who is regular here. He ordered "my usual" to owner/chief and course of sashimi and others came out. I've been to many other sushi place before in LA and I say this was the best. It is small place, only has 5 tables or so, only opens after 4pm. So, can't just drop in and expect to eat there. I tried to take my family for lunch (only to find they don't open for that..). If you are taking a date for nice environment with aroma of romance, this is NOT it. But if you want to feel like you want to eat high quality sushi/sashimi and eat in small place dedicated to you, definitely try this. read more

If you want tuna, blue something tuna, this is the spot. Toro is fresh, everything is fresh. P lace is kept clean , squeaky clean. Almost too clean for ktown. There are only 4 tables and bar seating for 4, better hurry because they open from 5pm read more

A gem in ktown.... This place has been around for a while and has been only known amongst the Korean Ajoomahs and ajushees who have the palette for proper sushi. It's a super cozy small restaurant in which I believe it's run by the sushi chef (owner) and his wife (server) but wow I ordered a large and felt like omakase. If you have a lot of sushi experience under your belt and prefer quality over quantity this is your spot. read more

They are very rude and I witnessed a rude confrontation to a customer who had a dark skin ( most probably a middle eastern) with the family. They refused the service because he had a dark skin and very rudely escorted him and his family out of the restaurant. At first I didn't even know this place existed. It's located within the same mall as Park's BBQ. It's on the first floor and on the far end of the first floor like literally at the corner of the mall. The sushi-man when I came here worked alone and he's the owner of this little piece of sushi heaven! So far the best sushi I've had in KTown! This place's price is literally half of a lot of other places in town but the quality is amazing. We had what the owner called a course menu which began with various small appetizers which included 4 small fried (but not like deep fried) fish called shisamo, 2 sticks with 6 ginko nuts each, and a lot of other things. The main tray was filled with Tuna belly, flounder, abalone, and sea urchin. I can't say this enough times, the qualily is BY FAR THE BEST IN KOREATOWN. Today's Valentine's Day dinner is the best I've had in my short 23 year life! IF YOU WANT SUSHI & SASHIMI THAT MEETS PAR WITH THOSE IN BEVERLY HILLS THEN I STRONGLY VERY VERY VERYYYYYY STRONGLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE!!! So my boyfriend and I decided we both felt like sushi for once. The parking in the lot is $3. We walk into the place and say "hello?" Like 3x and I see some legs laying on the chair... I screamed "HELLO?!" and I kid you not, there was a waitress asleep who jumped up looking super disoriented and said "yes?!?" My boyfriend then says "table for 2 please" and she said "sorry no sushi only raw." I didn't even begin to question and just walked out immediately.
