Got to be the best shop i've been to. This says a lot being that i've lived in many cities and states. I had a problem with our super old jeep while in Chicago from the quad cities. This was the closest shop by our hotel so i gave it a try. The place is immaculate. Super clean but they are so damn professional. Fixed my car and i even told em to fix other things that was wrong with it. They worked with me with the pricing and they did a great job. I came here to replace a battery for my dads car that has not been driven in awhile and I requested to have them run a diagnostic on the entire car. They were flexible on when I could drop it off and their hours are different during this time. The shop is really nice, bright and probably the cleanest shop I've ever seen. I asked if I could come back when it's ready and I assumed it would be the next day but they called me the same day that I dropped it off. I appreciated that they called me to go over about the battery that was replaced and the condition of the car. I liked that they were not pushy on the items of the car that I will need to get fixed within the next year. I've always been annoyed at the shops that don't go over the options with you nor ask for consent before charging you for the service that was not needed to be done right away. I saw that they fix specialty, nice cars as well which was good to know in case someone is looking for specialists who work on high end vehicles. I had bought brake pads and rotors to replace the ones on my Hyundai Elantra (front axel) myself, but it was too cold an snowy all month, and my breaks were starting to get really loud. I called many auto shops in the area for estimates, but they would NOT give it to me over the phone or refused to use my already purchased parts. Kang's on the other hand was SUPER accommodating. They gave me a 100% accurate estimate and allowed me to use the parts I had already bought. The job was faster than I had expected and the waiting room was peaceful, cozy, and CLEAN. I took my minivan for an oil change and brake job. I had taken my other car to this location when it was under a different name and ownership. The inside is very clean. He took the car for a test drive and immediately knew what was wrong. He gave me an estimate over the phone before he proceeded to do the work. They were able to finish the car when promised and called when the car was ready. He explained everything that was done. Very professional and knowledgeable. Very friendly people and quick service. Dropped in for oil change and done in 10 minutes. Honest and reliable.

Brought my truck to Kang's to have a flat fixed. Service tech said there was a leak and they patched the tire. I brought the truck back to my shop which is 1/2 a mile away. The truck sat and was not driven and I noticed 5 days later the same tire was flat. Brought truck back to Kang's who now says there are 2 new holes in the tire and they want $50 in addition to the original $40. I took the vehicle elsewhere and had the tired patched for cheaper and faster than Kang's. I will never do business with Kang's again as they don't stand behind their work. read more
