Kanya Market dining area.

This market is a great find for anyone looking for Southeast Asian groceries, especially if you're on the hunt for unique ingredients like green papaya, fresh greens, and non-perishable noodle packages and seasonings. They've got it all, and it's the perfect place to stock up on all your pantry essentials. But what really sets this place apart is the restaurant and grab-and-go food options. From fresh spring rolls to Lao fried egg noodles, and even banana leaf coconut sticky rice, the food here is delicious. We ordered the Thai Boat Noodle, Hmong Tendon Soup, and sampled the Lao Papaya Salad and Beef Laab. The Lao Papaya Salad and Beef Laab were the standout dishes--perfectly flavored and bursting with authentic, vibrant tastes. And, of course, a Thai tea to wash it all down made the experience even better! The service can be a bit sporadic, but the food arrives in a timely manner, so no complaints there. If you're in the area and craving authentic Hmong and Lao/Thai inspired dishes, or just need to grab some Asian groceries, this place is a must-visit.

Great staff. Some food is good. Some food is great. This place serves Thai, Vietnamese, Laotian, and Hmong food so you can't be the best at all of them. The sesame balls and fried pork are great. The pho and papaya salad are good.

Interesting Lao Asian Market/Cafe. Doesn't look like much from the outside. Even the door to enter looks like a back door service entrance. But don't let that stop you from going inside to discover another world of food, sauces, spices and so much more. Their cafe serves authentic Lao food. My favorite are the Papaya Salad (the spicy version is really spiced) and the Lao sausages. Haven't tried everything but working my way there. Cannot find anything this authentic between the Bay Area and Portland.

Best Hmong/Laos food I've found in Redding! I've been searching for good Hmong and Laos in Redding for 2 years so glad I've finally found it. Definitely recommend!!!

Crispy pork rice and fresh spring rolls were phenomenal and I'm just going to keep writing because I need more words to post

Actual price

Honestly they have a lot of variety of things. I love this place but there's no price tags on anything, they just type whatever number they want in there. Awhile back I got some thin soy sauce and the lady charged me $2.99 for it and today she charged me $2.69, I know it's little and not a big deal but it's shady to their customers. There's no price tag on anything. Also she charged me a .10cents bag for my one item without asking. It's just shady stuff. Its not smart because after we receive the receipt, we can see how much we were charged and for the very few items that does have a sticker price on it, we can see we were overcharged. It's ridiculous and sad. Please be careful with your business because customers will start calling important people about your business.

Food from the kitchen is very affordable and tasty. They stock lots of Asian groceries, I come here for supplies to make my own Pho.

I love BTC! I've been coming to their original location since they opened their doors back in 2013…read more Even though I am from the bay area, BTC is my #1 bubble tea so when I found out they had a 2nd location a few months ago, I had to try it out. The location right next to Pizza Guys. Not only is it sleek and trendy- there are plenty of tables and chairs (even chargers). The menu has all the drinks from their first location, but this place has an expansive menu of snacks and small meals. Banh Mi French Fries - Hands down the best! If I was in a mood to snack, that would be my go to pick. Tofu Bites - Delicious and light, but needed some dipping sauce which you can ask them over thr counter. Sriracha sauce hit the spot for me. Chicken Bites - Also great, but I think I prefer the other Tofu and Banh Mi French Fries more. The drinks were on par with the same consistency as their first location. If you want to know my fave drink I order from BTC, it is the Earl Gray Milk Tea. I can't find one in the bay area that is on par with the Earl Gray Milk tea here at BTC so it's always a nice treat when I stop by. Last, I have to mention the employees are superstars. Not once have I met an employee that was rushing us and/or rude. They are always kind and friendly. If you are a boba connoisseur like me and are nearby Shasta county, do not pass up on BTC. If they ever closed down, I will be devastated.

Good boba in Redding. We had Thai coffee and Vietnamese coffee with boba. Would go here again.read more

Overall, it's a good boba spot in a good location. The first time we stopped here I had the Thai…read moretea and it was just okay, it didn't really leave much of an impression. It wasn't the nice orange color you expect from Thai tea and it didn't have the creamy, floral notes. It actually tasted a bit powdery. Maybe it was just an off day? I got the regular size and it seemed kind of small for the price point. My fiancé wanted to stop by again today since we were in the area, and got us both the brown sugar milk tea, and it was pretty good! The drink had hints of caramel flavor from the brown sugar syrup, and the boba was chewy. I wish it was a bit softer like Tiger Sugar, but this still had a nice consistency. I wouldn't go out of my way for it, but if I'm at the mall again, I would try their other flavors.

Overall, the flavors are good. My kids really like it. Today I got a drink as well. I realize they…read moremay pre-measure ingredients but I paid for a large and didn't alter it.... Just however the milk tea comes. Didn't add or take anything. Didn't say light ice. No boba (which is extra $ to add) I'm a little irritated to have 2 inches less of drink in the cup. Ok so... it would be full if I added boba. But boba is .75 cents each scoop and the scoops are much bigger than I expected in my kids drinks. I understand if I order a large and get boba, I'd have less liquid. When they shake it, there's foam. Ok. That happens with coffee too and the foam can be held back when poured from the mixer to the cup. Like I said.. the taste is good. It's the kids favorite. So I'll have to decide if the under-filled cups are worth it. Just want everyone to know what to expect. In my case, I should have a full large drink. 1st picture to show I had not punctured the seal or taken a drink yet.
