I went to the owner, Inna, and she was absolutely incredible and knowledgeable! I couldn't recommend this place enough. We were walk-ins, and she was so accommodating. My girlfriends and I decided we wanted to get cartilage piercings on a whim, and she had such incredible reviews, and trust me, she did not disappoint. She's between locations at the moment because her old location is under construction, but the place was clean. All needles were in sterile packaging, as were the piercings. She wore gloves and gave us a spray with saline and high-quality essential oils that help decrease inflammation and prevent infection. It was pretty painless, she was so quick with the needle I barely felt it. I got three piercings done. She had such a great vibe, it was a fun experience, and cool to do with friends. I wanted to wait a while after my piercings to leave a review... I visited Nov 2022 and experienced the same issues as other negative reviews... Inna is definitely very sweet, and her prices are quite low, but unfortunately not as professional as she claims to be. This is located behind the main shops on S Robertson Road; you'll have to pass through a short alleyway between buildings to find the actual location. White, inconspicuous building with a small bench in front. Interior is eclectic, reads a little vintage/punk. That morning, I had made a same-day appointment while on a work trip to see if I could get my doubles or cartilage pierced. Karma was the closest to me with seemingly great reviews. Inna picked up and let me know that she was available at 3 pm, so we bided our time exploring LA until then. When we arrived 5 mins early, Karma was completely closed with nobody inside. She had let me know that she had vehicle issues during our earlier call, so I decided to give her the benefit of the doubt. After around 20 mins waiting, I gave her a call, to which it sounded like she forgot about the appointment. In total, she was 45 min late... A VERY long time to wait when there's no shade in front of the tattoo parlor under the unforgiving LA sun. During this time, a couple other customers also showed up, knocked on the door, and waited outside with us. At the appointment, she seemed pretty scrambled. Another customer apparently had a booking 30 mins after us and Inna was rushing to both set up the shop and get her jewelry put in. I waited in the seating area for another 30 mins. After consulting another piercing shop, these were some major issues I didn't realize at the time: - She let me know that I could do both my cartilage and doubles at the same time (this is highly NOT recommended, most pros recommend one ear at a time, especially for side sleepers like myself) - Jewelry was stored haphazardly in small ziploc baggies supposedly for sanitation, but she had put on gloves and was touching multiple other tools before touching the jewelry, already contaminating the gloves - She claimed that you can pierce with hoops right away (you shouldn't, the movement of the hoop increases likelihood of infection and irritation bumps; studs are better for initial piercing) - The jewelry is supposedly titanium with gold plating, but my jewelry was tested and it was some weird mystery material (it was even flaking when I finally removed it to let my ears heal) - She provided a saline solution for aftercare, but it includes essential oils and coconut oil. A cleansing solution should ONLY contain saline! Others are just irritants. - It was around $200 for 6 pieces of jewelry (3 cartilage, 2 lobe, 1 tongue)... Most places I've been to are $40-50/ea for ACTUAL titanium pieces Over the past 4 months, I didn't touch the piercings and followed her exact aftercare instructions. Even then, two on the left healed upside down (with a large irritation bump!!!), and the other was constantly swelling to the point my doctor said it was close to infection. I ended up removing all 3 of my cartilage piercings under the guidance of my doctor. I'm still treating the swelling and thickened skin. My doubles healed fine, fortunately, but I plan to swap out the jewelry at a more reputable piercing shop. I have my fair share of piercings, so I'll admit that I was a little too eager to get everything done at once-- but a trusted professional should have known better to advise me otherwise. I WILL give props and thank her for replacing my tongue piercing for a reduced cost since she noticed it was knocking against my teeth, but otherwise I can't recommend this shop for others. The price isn't worth the ultimate cost to my skin and health. read more

So happy to have found this place! I've gone here twice now and every time has been a pleasant experience. The location is hard to find if your driving by but it's actually hidden in the back behind other stores. The place is clean and inviting and very cool decor. I've come to just change out a piercing with Inna and she was so nice. The second time I went and got a third lobe piercing by another piercer and she made me feel comfortable and kept checking in on me. It was my first time getting a piercing done by needle and the lady who pierced my ear (I forgot to get her name) was very thorough and helpful about my existing placements and where to get the new ones pierced. She was very transparent about the costs and aftercare costs which was nice. There were quite a few options to choose for the earrings. They didn't have hoops yesterday so plan on getting studs. The interior was really cute and full of mirrors to check out your piercing after. Not really sure how strict they are on their appointment system but I got there on time and some girl went before me and my friend (we both had our own appointments). I didn't mind because I was still choosing my jewelry but try to make it on time so you can go at your allotted time slot! There was street parking couple blocks away that were free for 2 hours except Sundays. This place is located in between 2 buildings in a lot. They have a sign on their shop so you can find it easily. My family heard the whole thing in the car, we were left shocked at how rude the lady was. When I found this place, I decided to go inside because I had an appointment with Inna, but Inna was not there. Her apprentice said "i don't know when she'll be here, it might be more than 30 minutes. Let me text her to ask. Last time I checked she was getting in the shower, but you can sit and wait for her." I got my ear lobes pierced 4 weeks ago. They are still incredibly sore and I'm about to remove them. I told my friends that when I went in for piercings that the girl who pierced me didn't use a needle or a gun. She used the actual piercing stud and pressed it through my lobes. I thought it was a new "thing" but no one I've talked to has heard of it being done that way. I could hear the earring crunch and rip through my ear lobe. Twice. Not cartilage. Earlobes. I called the studio today to ask, anonymously, what equipment they use to pierce ears. I was told that ears were pierced with a needle. So why wasn't I pierced with a needle? I'm not sure how this place is rated as highly as it is. Just be weary. 100% do not recommend. read more

Highly don't recommend getting a septum piercing here -- and though my piercer was incredibly sweet, it was the most traumatizing and painful experience ever. The piercing needle got caught in the tool the piercer was using and it was all excruciatingly painful. Blood was spurting out of my nose and I tried to stay calm but could tell I was getting lightheaded. We look in the mirror and it was extremely crooked. Because I didn't want to waste my money, I chose to pierce it again from the same person. During this process, the piercer also took the same amount of time and it was so incredibly painful. We look in the mirror AGAIN and the jewelry was too big so we needed to change it. The piercer took out the horseshoe and then lost (?) the hole, and kept jabbing the new jewelry into the fresh piercing. After about ten minutes, they then used the piercing needle to find the whole again, which didn't work, and so they put the original jewelry back in. And then back to the needle. And then finally found the correct hole. The piercer also didn't mark my nose or anything to check, and also ended up cutting the side of my nostril. By the end of it, it looked like someone had punched me in the nose. read more

Do not recommend While Inna is very nice, this was the worst piercing experience I've ever had and I have several piercings. My first appointment was the same as the other 1 star reviews. Made an appointment online, followed instructions and confirmed one hour before. I showed up and no one was there. Called and texted with no answer. Was able to get in touch with Inna and she said didn't have any record of the appointment and offered to make a house call (which was very nice). Ok mixups happen and I asked for her next available appointment. Made my next appointment. When I arrived she was a bit scattered and I went to choose my jewelry (two cartilage piercings and changing my tragus jewelry) Both of my cartilage piercings developed keloids (never had with any of my other piercings) and my tragus swelled. I texted Inna for help and was asked if I followed instructions. I told her yes and asked to see her so she can take a look. She told me she was out of town. I asked if she could recommend someone that I could see, complete radio silence. I had to go elsewhere and get the piercings removed until they heal as well as change my tragus piercing as my skin had started to grow over the back due to the swelling. I'm hoping I don't end up with a scare from these keloids. Inna was expensive to begin with and as she didn't respond or care about my issues caused from her piercings, I had to go else where and spend more money. Extremely disappointed and wish I could get a refund. Do not go here. Unfortunately, she is not as knowledgeable when it comes to what jewelry you should be pierced with and aftercare as what you would want out of your piercer. I was pierced with too small of jewelry (which also had rhinestones which no new piercing should have) and the aftercare solution is not what should be used on a new piercing. If I could give more than 5 stars I would. I went in to get my daith and lobes pierced and had an amazing experience. Inna is such a sweet heart and answered all of my questions! She also has the most amazing selection of jewelry. Daith- As someone who has suffered for over 8 years with horrible migraines I thought this piercing was too good to be true. I figured it couldn't hurt to try since I would be leaving with a cute piercing if it ended up not helping. I have relatively low pain tolerance and was dreading this, but figured if it could help the pain of migraines go away why not? I chose a cute multicolor heart, braced myself for 10/10 pain, and in 2 seconds it was done. I was amazed. I didn't feel anything more than some pressure, and my migraine was immediately gone! Lobes- I got my lobes pierced maybe 8/9 years ago. I took them out after they never healed and always wanted to get them done again. To my surprise Inna told me that my holes were probably not closed, but they shrunk. In less than 30 seconds she was able to get both my old holes open again with some new cute studs I picked out! Again, so amazing and barely felt anything! I plan on going back for my other ear soon, and maybe more piercings as well! Inna is very responsive and helpful. Piercing process was fine. Customer service was less than professional as everything is managed through what seems a personal cell phone number. I took my 5 month old to get her ears pierced and Inna was great in the moment for the piercing process, but unfortunately we were given poor quality jewelry as my babies earring fell out the night after it was pierced and the two nights following that. We tested the jewelry after it fell out for the second time and the back never secured properly. My calls and texts asking for new jewelry or advise were ignored and it left us having to go elsewhere to get it re-pierced and new earrings with secured backs. read more

The first time around I had Suzy and was very nervous about my piercing, she was so sweet and my nose was done before I knew it. About a week later I broke my nose stud at 8 at night and texted the shop number hoping they'd be able to help or have advice on what to do till the next morning and Inna was so great. We made a online reservation before hand. Inna was running a bit late, but given that she was flying back from Wisconsin, and still running her business, good job for her!!
