I found Karma on YELP and selected them based on the reviews and I liked that they were local. My cat pee'd on my baby's play area rug and no spray-on cleaner helped the situation. I was about ready to throw out the less than one year old rug and thought I would try a carpet cleaner. My cat must have pee'd on it more than once, because it took an extra cleaning to kill the smell. Brian was my service guy, he did a great job, was very thorough, friendly and professional and did what he needed to do to get the job done. Thanks Brian!! My carpets look like NEW!!! Brian was great, and can't say enough about his professionalism, on time arrival, and overall very nice demeanor. DEFINITELY utilize Karma Carpet Cleaning if you have animals. Unfortunately, my cat was using our beautiful, large Persian rug as a cat litter box and thought I would have to throw the rug out. Karma was able to get the scent of cat urine completely out of the rug, and was so glad I didn't have to throw my rug out. Brian did a great job- got some serious stains out. My carpet looks brand new. They use a circular scrubbing machine vs steam cleaner; I think the former does a much better job. I'm bummed about having to leave this review. I really wanted Karma Carpet to be my "go to" carpet cleaners. I even referred them to a close friend of mine after they did the job. When Brian came out to clean my carpets he told me that Karma Carpets using a different system than other carpet cleaning companies. Their spot removing technique is different than other places and the spots won't reappear since they are actually agitated out of the carpet, not just covered up. We have a off-white carpet with some pet stains so I paid extra to have the spots taken care of for good. Initially I was very happy with the results. The spots were gone and I even spoke with Brian about referring him to our condo complex with 10 buildings....all carpeted. However over the next month the spots reappeared! 5 weeks after we had our carpets cleaned by Karma Carpets I called and spoke with Kenneth as all of my spots were back. I told him that our pet stains had come back and asked them to retreat the stains. Kenneth told me that for 50% of the price (this is 5 weeks after I paid to have my carpets cleaned by them) they could come back and treat the stains again. He then went on to say that "we always let customers know prior to doing any work that with white carpet stains can be permanent and there isn't much we do at times but make them look better." I had never actually heard that before (quite the opposite from Brian) and questioned why I paid extra for spot removal in the first place? I never did get an answer. As a result I am very unsatisfied and wouldn't recommend or use Karma Carpet again. read more

I was extremely impressed by the professionalism from Ken and Pierce. As I invited them inside, the first thing Ken did was introduce himself by name and shake my hand, as did Pierce. They did a great job at cleaning 15 year old carpet, pet stains and so much wear and tear! When they finished, they gave great suggestions on heavily tracked areas and explained some tell-tell signs of tracking stains from showering in bathroom and walking to bedroom with wet feet! The booking process was very easy and we were able to text back and forth to make sure that everything would go smoothly and it did. He and Piers were extremely efficient, professional and did a fantastic job in our apartment. The carpets were beautifully clean once they had finished and it was obvious that they went above and beyond with the chairs and furniture gently moved to allow every spot to be covered. I was scheduled to vacate my townhouse yesterday. The house was clean and I was ready to turn in my keys & remote. Then, I double checked the final move out instructions and frantically realized I had to shampoo the carpet and return the receipt to the office since this was my last day! I started calling and left messages to many offices and all went to voicemail, except Kharma carpet cleaning. Ken answered and came to my rescue! Although he had booked appointments that day, he knew I was desperate and needed his help by today, otherwise I would have to pay rent for an additional day. He made some adjustments in his schedule to accommodate me. When I met him he was so friendly, professional and extremely helpful.
