It was when I brought the increase up that Karma carpet threatened to leave. It was the tonality of F. You. I should have let him go since I did have better price quotes. My carpets still have a dirty smell even after paying extra for enzymes and the fringes were not brushed. They do not use an water extraction unit and in my opinion dry cleaning carpets is inferior to water extraction. Please do you homework. I suspect Karma knowingly avoids admitting to customers they do not use a water extraction unit. I'm very unsatisfied with the results. read more

I have used several different companies and generally carpet cleaning companies quote low then show up and suddenly its a lot more. They were on time, easy to work with and didn't hassle me on price. They accepted Venmo which makes payment easier for me. IT ONLY TAKES 1-2 HOURS TO DRY which is great (depends on weather). My carpets look and smell amazing. After all the good Yelp reviews I read I was pretty disappointed. Brian was nice and friendly, but I feel the price was way too expensive for what you got. He tried to tell me how much better they were than your average steam cleaning, but honestly I got worse results. The area where my main problem is is still kind of crunchy and doesn't smell fresh at all even after he said he threw in a free odor treatment. Also he was only there for about 30 minutes or so, so how clean can you really get it? Nice guy but not the quality I was looking for. read more

I would not recommend this carpet cleaning company to anyone. Ken came to our home in an old rickety mini van (not the one shown in the pics with their company logo) and seemed very unhappy from the start. He was frustrated that he had to find a parking spot on the side streets (because I didn't have room for him to be able to park in my garage) and he said he was in a hurry because he had to get to another job after me. I went ahead and moved my truck out to let him in my spot and he pulled out a machine that is used for buffing floors, not cleaning carpets. He said this is a specific technique he uses so the carpet is dry in less than an hour. It had a big pad on the machine that spins and he puts it over the carpet and it DOESNT EXTRACT the dirt, it basically swirls the dirt around. I left and came back after about an hour and I thought he hadn't cleaned yet....because it was that dirty still. He said he had cleaned them already but they didn't look different at all. I was so unhappy. He asked me if I wanted him to continue and I told him no. Even though I was so unhappy, he charged me full price for all the rooms and wasn't even going to give me the 15% that we originally agreed upon as a first time guest until I noticed and said something. I paid him and I scurried to find another carpet cleaning company as I had to return my keys next morning. The company, Brodine carpet cleaning, made the WORLD of difference. We also had pet stains from cat hairballs, etc and they got everything out. They were on time, very professional and finished early. Karma cleaning did a fantastic job! We gave Brian a call at around 11 am and asked if he was able to squeeze us in same day, to which he delightedly obliged and got us in at 2:30. Our place is relatively small so the total cleaning took no more than 30 minutes. He vacuumed diligently first, then sprayed a solution and cleaned the carpets with an industrial cleaner. My roommate and I had the pleasure to meet Ken and he did an excellent job. While he was a one-man show, he managed to deep clean the carpet in 3 rooms, which includes a rather long hallway in just over an hour, which was surprising given the high quality job he did. Stains we thought would be permanent were completely gone and our carpet looked excellent when he was finished. I had Karma come out to clean my living room carpet last minute before having some company stay with me. I foster dogs so the carpet had it's fair share of pet stains. Even before the carpets were finished i could see the difference. They look great and the pet stains are unnoticeable. He even informed me the pet urine isn't typically what stains the carpets, it's the harsh chemicals in the cleaners that cause the dark spots to form.
