I had been researching buying an EV for my daily commute and settled on finding a good used Leaf. One of the things that constantly came up in the forums for EV buying was that most used car dealers tended to have no clue about EVs they had, but in the case of Gus (Gustavo) he was fantastic and had a good understanding of EVs and even caught me before picking up my newly purchased car to make sure the 120 volt charge cable was in it. The case for it was there, but they had been using the cable to keep it charged, so good thing he took the time to make sure I had everything I should. So beyond being a cool guy with some great tattoos, Gus's focus on taking care of his customers is excellent! No complaints at all, they made the process fairly painless other than the time working on the paperwork, but that always takes time, so not going to complain about that. read more

man this place is the best used car dealership I've been to. Before here, I was denied at 4 local dealers because my credit and I had a low down payment, and I was a first time buyer. The sales guy tony didn't pressure me at all! We spent several hours test driving different cars until I found my bmw. Tony fought fought for me to the T getting my monthly payment down! That dude has juice and I totally recommend to ask for him! Behind the counter "Lon" never said no to me! He fought the banks back and fourth until the bank finally gave in! I had a few concerns with cosmetic scratches, and now I am scheduled on Monday for a free full bumper paint job! That is unheard of!!! I would give this place zero stars if I could! My sales guy was very nice & professional however, the finance manager kept "playing" with the sales prices. What they list as for sale on the internet is not what they just tried to charge me. I received a 14k approval & I chose a vehicle under that amount and they told me I couldnt pick that car, I had to take what they wanted me to drive?? Absolutely not! I don't think anyone expects much from a used car lot, but this place didn't even manage to meet my low expectations. So why two stars? Mostly because 1.5 isn't an option. They do have a lot of cars on the lot, and they claim to be ok with independent inspections. So, could be worse I guess? And now for the weirdness. Short version: the cars here are pretty gross. The sales staff wasn't rude or anything, but they don't follow through on promises and aren't interested in negotiating. If you're willing to make a deal on the spot to pay asking price for a car that may well be under recall, and will need some rehabilitating, maybe this place is worth your time. Long version: I rolled into this place on a Sunday because I was looking for a specific, totally unnecessary second car, and they had two of them listed online. You park in front of these little bleachers, where a bunch of salesmen are just kind of hanging out. One of them came over and dropped some corny lines ("Congratulations on your new car," "Today's a big day," etc etc), but was otherwise mostly inoffensive. Finding the car I was interested in took some work. There doesn't seem to be much logic to the organization, and the cars are jammed bumper to bumper, so you sort of have to walk through a maze to get anywhere. You also may not be able to open all of the doors of the car you're looking at. Lots of cars in the maze are in shockingly bad shape. This place doesn't do anything to rehab the cars they get, so even easy cosmetic stuff like busted tail and headlight covers were common. I finally found the car I was looking for. The online pictures didn't show the many small exterior scratches, the old lollipop sticks left inside, the missing interior trim pieces, the water (I hope) stains on the rear door, or the mysterious brown stuff spattered across the ceiling. The salesman also couldn't tell me what features the car had, and had no access to a spec sheet. Having done some basic online research, I knew more about the car than he did. He asked if I wanted to go for a test drive, but the car wouldn't even start. The salesman asked me to make an offer anyway, which I did. The car is an older, base model, and was nasty gross, but theoretically fixable, so I made a cash offer under their asking price, provided the car checked out at my mechanic. The salesman said it would be tough to let it go for that price, but he'd ask his manager. The manager wasn't there for some reason, but I wasn't in urgent need of a car, so whatever. Dude said he'd call me later that night. A couple days pass, and no contact from the place. Annoying, but not shocking. So I contact them through their website, dropping a whole long e-mail (though not as long as this review) about the specific car, the stock number, the date of my visit, an explanation of my offer, blah blah blah. Within a couple hours, I get a call. The guy had clearly never read my e-mail, and asked what car I was interested in and other basic info. that I'd included. Fine, so I repeat the whole story, and again repeat my offer. The guy says it's too low, but that he'll go talk it over with someone else. So I sez look, that's what the last guy told me, and nobody ever called. If my offer is too low, fine, I get it. He says no no he'll for sure call me later that night, even if it's just to tell me no. Want to guess the next part? A few more days pass, and nothing. So I drop an e-mail to the manager of the whole place. Crickets. It's been over a week now, and after multiple calls and e-mails, still nothing. Yeah, my offer was lower than asking, but this car might have feces on it and has been sitting on the lot FOR OVER A YEAR! I guess that isn't enough to motivate them to negotiate, let alone follow up as promised, even if just to say a straightforward "no." PS: I checked the VIN and there are two unfulfilled recalls on the car as well. If you need a car RIGHT NOW and are willing to pay them what they want, regardless of the condition of the car, maybe try your luck here. Otherwise, listen to the voice inside of your head that's saying, "Really, Karplus with a K?" and save yourself the aggravation of coming here. UPDATE: Hallelujah! Finally a response from this place, even if it's just a defensive comment to my review. Pretty consistent with the other comments on here from Rey B. He's right that they couldn't give me what I wanted, which was a returned phone call. A high bar, I know. Good luck, yelpers. read more

There are a lot of reasons why I had to give such a low rating. We found a car on OfferUp that my boyfriend was interested in. We drove down there & ended up finding a different car we liked more. Well, it wasn't ready yet bc it was in the service center. We got to test drive it & my boyfriend loved it. Honestly, I think our salesperson just wasn't knowledgeable. We tried to ask him all sorts of questions about the car & he just didn't know anything. I don't want to sound mean, but the whole experience was... "off." We asked about an extended warranty, the guy said that it would be $10 or $20 a month. For a Porsche Cayenne GTS?! Was this guy for real. On top of that, it was as though we were pulling teeth trying to purchase a car from them. We met the manager, Alex, when we got there & he definitely had that aggressive salesman vibe. To a point where we repeatedly called for him after we left & it was impossible to speak to him. After a while, we looked at the reviews & feel like we dodged a bullet. I wouldn't waste my time here unless this is the ONLY place you can purchase a car from. I would look at CarGurus, it ended up leading to us looking at a few different cars that constantly reassured us that the car not being available that day was God protecting us from being ripped off & a complete nightmare. read more

My experience here was terrible! They kept my down payment hostage while they attempted to fix the sunroof of a vehicle I had signed for! I was smart enough not to drive the car off the lot (state law where if you drove the car off the lot ... it is yours so be careful) and didn't not sign the contract to decline my right to cancel the whole contract. Be aware of their shady practices of selling cars with damaged parts! I had to be the one calling asking for updates. Took them 2 weeks to finally get the part. First I'd like to thank mr Chavez for helping me out after everything happened. I saw a car online they were offering that was a good price I'm a Uber driver and I was using a Uber car that was costing way to much. 1. I waited 3 days for a car they said wasn't ready for them to tell me it's a salvage title after talking to 3 different people 2. They tell me come in we will get you something around the price range (I have no credit mind you which they already ran) 3. The car is priced 1500 higher than they have online but I needed a car so I was like ok it was a 2013 Jetta with 84000 miles on it not great at all didn't look that good inside ether 4. They tell me no bank will work with Uber driver and if I'm going to BUY!!! the car not LEASE!!! I would have to sign a contract that said if I use the car for Uber they can come repo my car even if I'm current on all my payments and everything it doesn't matter they can take it. I took my money back and said good by after the manager came in acting like he wanted to start yelling at me hahahhaahaha. I left and went right down the street to galpin Honda and got a 2016 Ford focus with 2007 miles on it fully loaded and my car payment is only 388 with 100,000 mile warranty so much better than this terrible car dealership lol. Total liars and scammers! They called me to come in because of a car I inquired about, I asked them do they finance with a certain company because I had gotten an approval with them previously and knew for a fact they would approve me. I also asked and made sure I was coming in to see the car that I inquired about, because I know what I want and don't want to waste my time or money getting there and they couldn't finance or would try to get me in a different car. They assured me of both, and I said ok I'll get in an Uber now. I dressed my 8 year old, got into an Uber in the rain, and paid $40 to get there, only to find out the car I inquired about was at a dealership because of a recall " supposedly" they then showed me another older car of that model, and when it came to financing, and I asked them to run in with the creditor that I mentioned I would get approval from, and guess what they don't work with them. I was pissed off!!!!!! They straight lied! Then told me do you remember who you talked to we will speak to them so it doesn't happen again... mmhm how is that helping me??? Or giving me back $80 I just spent on Uber to come to have my time and money wasted! If you're such liars and don't know what you have, nor who you're financing companies are, can you imagine what risk you're taking getting into one of their cars? The salesman who assisted me during my visit, JD, was not the problem at all. It was simply the way this company conducts business that made me realize they are not running an honest business. JD was forthcoming and honest enough about the cars I looked at, and wasn't trying to deceive me in any way about any cosmetic and mechanical problems, but the problem here is that one of the cars I test drove had THREE separate warning lights come on as soon as we started it up, so clearly there were numerous mechanical issues with the vehicle and yet there it was on the lot ready for sale. I asked the salesman how the company would handle these issues before completing a sale and he answered that it would be taken to their service center for repair, but if true, why wasn't the car serviced before being displayed on the lot? This is a seriously sketchy business practice for a dealership. The other significant problem I had with the company is that I arrived at the dealership with preapproved financing, yet the financing manager still made a hard pull of my credit report without my approval to see if they could offer a better rate, only to discover that his financing couldn't beat the offer I arrived with, so that was the financing offered, and the manager acted like he was doing me a favor by extending the exact terms of the offer I arrived with. Also, remember that regardless of the prices advertised online, they will claim there is no guarantee of selling you the car listed at the advertised price, and force you to negotiate as if the asking price is higher than what they are publicly advertising. There are obviously tons of other places to search for used cars, so save the trouble and look elsewhere. read more

They don't honor the advertised price or the price they promise you over the phone when you actually go to buy the car. I drove over 2 hours to buy a car as they had agreed (over the phone) to lower the price by $300. They refused to lower the price when I got there. If I can give this place a ZERO, I would. WARNING, DO NOT BUY YOUR CAR AT KARPLUS WAREHOUSE!!! They buy frame damaged cars and sell them as if they are in good condition. They show you a carfax that doesn't display the frame damage. But, if you ask for a AutoCheck, they won't give it to you....because it lists the frame damage! I lost $5000 on a car they sold to me in good condition. Allen in Finance will do whatever he can to display that he's telling you the truth..."Just look at the carfax" will be his words to you. "We've been in business for over 25 years" will be another. Orlando appear that he's working hard to get you a deal to finance you, but then they add more money to the back end of the deal. Sam (sales) will tell you how he fixes cars up for a hobby and how the car you are test driving is in excellent condition. And, when you question him about the wear on the tires, he'll tell you that they are special tires and they don't have the tread on them that basic tires have. Two months later, I'm told that I need tires from the mechanic! This was a $5000 lesson learned on my part. DO NOT BUY YOUR CAR FROM THESE LOOSERS. Let my loss be your gain... They were patient and answer all our questions and provide my wife and I plenty of time and space to check each detail of the used car. This dealership is the worst. I called to confirm availability on a vehicle I wanted and made sure to ask if they were sure because I was coming from an 1+ hr drive. They reassured me that it was and to come on by-they were going to hold it and "put it in the back" and to ask for "Lona" or something like that. Once I finally showed up one of the other salesmen said vehicle was sold. I said I just called and the rude "Lona" guy said he has no control of what they do in the inside? I didn't say anything except if he can show me other vehicles similar to it. Sure he showed me others but I had to deal with his sarcasm and unprofessional behavior as to rolling of eyes and walking way in front of me and ignoring me a few times. Sorry to say but a business should be monitored better as to "what happens on the inside" and "what happens on the outside". They don't care about the customers nor care if they are being rude or not. Plus prices are not the best. I found the vehicle I wanted for the similar price with over 30K miles less. Just because there's no option for no starts but people be aware of this place, they are really unprofessional, not worth trusting. I was on the hunt for a work truck and I find this place as a referral for my bank, I spoke to a guy name Jose an he told me the truck was on the lot. Well I make a long trip 27 miles to get there, we found the truck I got all my deal ready and a pre- approved letter from my bank. Then when the sales person showed to the manager he pop with the secret that the car have a rollback issue, i try to make a deal anyway and with no further questions the manager got busy and the sales rep just say "look to be realistic you need 30% down payment and if I can get that down payment is really difficult to get the truck finance and the manager will take 30 minutes to have time for You don't waist your time". Really.... this is really disappointing especially when they don't disclose the problems with the cars. We walk thru the lot and we saw most of the cars have a secrets..... looks like the manager wasn't interested to make the sale. Our deal was ready and the guy who call me on the phone say all the best deals to get us to go to their place. It is a huge inventory but be aware of the carfax. STRONGLY NOT RECOMMENDED. Quite possibly the worst car dealership I've ever dealt with. The level of dishonesty in the sales process was baffling. They had the car listed for one price online and then when I got to the dealership the showed me a much higher price and explained the reason for the discrepancy Also, they had installed a gps anti theft system system that they wanted me to pay to remove as part of the sales process. It was a frustrating experience and I felt it was overly manipulative and dishonest. read more

The car had several dents and scratches which were never disclosed over the phone. The miles were wrong. The salesman knew little to nothing about the car.
