Food, drink & ambiance generally nice but customer service is lacking... I noticed we were overcharged $2 for a glass of wine (principle of the matter). GM said he'd refund the $2 which is the least that can be done considering I had to catch the mistake & take action to make it right. I said as much & he caved into comping the whole glass... except he comped the correct price of the glass, not the $2 overcharged price. Not the end of the world, but left a bad taste. read more

Wonderful place. We reserved a large space for 25 people. Had a view overlooking a lot of downtown Venice and the beach. Was gorgeous. The food was extraordinary. Great revamp of Hotel Erwin's rooftop. Excellent bar menu, with unique cocktails and tasty food. The view is always unbeatable, and the new decor looks very bohemian beachside. Pleasantly and welcomed, The Ambiance and Service was delightful and place was updated nicely. 1 Star -- Awful Service & Unsafe Environment I came here tonight because the website says they're open until 10, but the service was beyond terrible from the moment we sat down. It took 15 minutes just to get a drink, and when it finally arrived, they served blanco instead of reposado -- not once, but twice. Then they charged us for the wrong type of tequila, and when we pointed it out, the servers got defensive and rude instead of fixing it. The whole experience was just frustrating and disrespectful. On top of that, the floor was soaking wet around 9 PM, and no one bothered to put up a sign -- super dangerous, until I told the bartenders someone could easily slip. There was also a broken chair at our table that could've hurt someone. For a place that's supposed to have good vibes, this was just a mess -- unprofessional staff, careless management, and a total lack of basic safety or hospitality. Venice has way better spots than this. Skip Kassi if you value your time, money, or well-being. read more

Here rn told the host that it was my girlfriends bday they put us in the only table without an umbrella after an hour we asked if we could move for a short time to a covered table until we leave... no plates nothing but our drinks that we would carry to the bar on our own. I worked in hospitality for 10 years there was zero effort at all by the girls working with us here... not even a try of accommodation just no. We just wanted to enjoy shade until the next reservation with no mess. it was open and she was being snobby. - Mya was the worst not that that the other servers any more initiative but also not Problem solving just underwhelming.. No options no hospitality vibes whatsoever. I would reccomend placing umbrellas at every table or letting a group know there wasn't one so we can decide to wait. We are flexible and I understand how this works, it would be appreciated if someone responded and fixed this such a disappointing experience for a bday. read more

Nice view, food was decent, service was ok. Came here mid day for a drink and some apps. Fries and calamari were great, flat bread and hummus tasted like it came from a package. I was extremely disappointed with the drinks. The same drink order came in various size cups and don't even get me started on the slushie. For 18 dollars the size of the cup was a sample size cup and had a cucumber garnish that took up half the glass. Def not worth the money and they need to get their cocktails straightened so everyone receives the same experience. No plans to go back and would not be my first place to recommend. Forget about Kassi if you are a couple. Whereas the old High Bar accepted reservations (and very often walk-ins) for the charming sofas and love seats positioned all around the perimeter of the restaurant (by far the best feature of this place, featured in all the pictures), the new owners are now exclusively holding that seating for parties of four or more. Even though we made reservations a week in advance, and had an incredibly early reservation (6:00 PM), we were ushered to a wooden high-top table in back of the crowded bar, with essentially none of the view or charm that makes this place special. When we objected, we were told it was because the new owners will only permit parties of 4 or more to have the love seats with the ocean views. Right now Im sure thats a smart business decision, as the place is overrun with selfie-snapping party girls and tech bros checking out the new place while it's hot. But when it cools down a little? Well, we live 6 blocks away and we will never be back. Food isn't great (VERY salty as others have said) but is reasonably priced for a trendy spot like this. Okay this place is an actual DREAM! Came here with a group of friends to watch the sunset and had SUCH a great experience. Already planning to go back again next week. The views are the best in LA and the staff, food, drinks and vibe match it. I had an Aperol Spritz and the sparkling red (so good) and felt as though I was on vacation in Europe. The staff were so sweet, but also relaxed - which made us feel at ease. If you don't get every one of the dips in the mezze selection- you're missing out because oooof they were so good. I stumbled upon Kassi Club after a beach day with some friends, and wow--what a vibe!! The atmosphere is effortlessly chic without trying too hard, and the 360 degree view is perfect for a breezy afternoon cocktail or two. We got lots of food to share and everything was delicious! My favorites were the whipped avocado dip, calamari, salmon skewer and beef skewer. I had the Sundial cocktail which was excellent and my friend had the sparkling Frizzante Red, which was also fabulous. Our server was super friendly and gave great recommendations without being pushy. I also appreciated how the music was upbeat but not too loud - we could actually hold a conversation. I had to leave my table to flag someone down. It was freezing outside and no heat lamps worked. Once again, I had to hunt down blankets, and was only offered 2 for a party of 4. They forgot half of our dinner order. Our waitress was nowhere to be found. Food comes in TINY TINY portions. Zucchini fries were cut/shredded so small and covered in oily batter it was as if you were eating crumbs from the bottom of a bag. Ophelia drink was so mediocre. Also, the hummus doesn't come with any vessel to dip in it? You have to order your bread or whatever else separately. Found that odd. read more

We were looking for a beautiful sunset view, and to get away from the bars, burgers, and dope smoke at street level. High up in the sky, Kassi looked good to us. Service was friendly and mostly attentive. Menu items are small plates, like tapas. Pricy, but that's the premium for the view and fresh air. Unfortunately, we found the food was too oily, and we won't return. Food details: Flat bread: Very much under done. Our server should have noticed because it lacked color (later, the table to ours received an appealing toasted color). After handling the bread, our hands were dripping with oil. Only a single, medium plate-sized bread is served, but we could not finish this. Crispy Saganaki: Interesting flavors, but it finished with an unpleasant bitter fried taste. Not crispy: more like a firm-ish crust. Also, very oily and heavy, and we could not finish it. Spanakopita Quesadilla: Not as oily as the other dishes, and I liked this one best. My wife thought "not as oily as the other dishes" was a low bar, and does not endorse this dish. Lamb meatballs: Delivered as 4 rough meatballs on a single skewer, all sitting in a large pool of oil.
