Called the health department on this place because I saw her pour used acetone back into the bottle after using it on others!! Not to mention the horrible job they do. Don't waste your money. The prices they tell you they'll definitely increase it when you're done. There is only one person who knows what they're doing. They don't polish the entire nail, they don't cover the entire gel polish with clear which makes your nails look old. I got this done yesterday and you can see the uneven polish, the lumps and you can see how the polish runs close to the cuticle and this is 3 coats!! My feet look even worse. The health department is definitely coming out. My nails were done by the lady who wears glasses and ask what you need so idk if she's the owner or manager.
This is not my regular nail shop but I definitely love it here! I come with my sis n law and she always has Ashley to do her nails. I don't have a favorite but everybody that has done my nails and feet are 10/10! Today Hannah did a manicure on my nails and she got me right! Lauren was working on my pedicure and at first it felt like a toe nail surgery but my feet are happy now that all the ingrown nails are out! Happy feet!! Thank you ladies for getting me right for tonight's Christmas party.
I would rate this place a big fat ZERO if I could. The only saving grace is the lady that did my pedicure. She was actually ok and took her time. Also cleaned up my nails and they ok. Not the best. She tried and it was her best work, maybe. Now the lady that did my pedicure was awful. Older lady, wears glasses and has her breast out. She seems kind of snobby. When I said thank you after the manicure she said nothing. From what I can tell, she usually does full sets. A regular manicure with short nails and black nail polish almost seems to annoy her. After she filed my nails a little, and after she filed them, she kind of threw the file in her basket, totally unnecessary. She barely did my cuticles (see pics) and left black nail polish on my fingers and cuticles. I had to ask the lady doing my pedicure if she could take off the black nail polish from my fingers. She laughed and said something in her language about the lady leaving nail polish on my fingers. Overall, this place sucks. The wait is long, the work is not anything worth paying $60 for plus tip. I would never come back here. So many other places to go, do waste your money here if you just want a simple pedi and mani. If you want a full set, maybe. I wouldn't know because I wouldn't come back.
This is my second time going. Everyone is so sweet. I really enjoy coming to this place. I will definitely be back for another return visit. Ashley did my nails and Wendy did my pedicure thank you!!!
I'm sorry I didn't get her name. She was very sweet and kind. I get ticklish sometimes but she was patient with me. She was thorough and did a great job. I will definitely keep coming back to her. It was busy when I arrived. I waited less than 10 minutes for her.
Love all the staff and every time I go my nails come out perfect! No matter what style or design I know they will come out so cute! I appreciate the foot and leg massage as well, and how fast I can taken care of each time I go.
These ladies are all so kind & do honest work. I am naturally a nail biter & I was honest so we're starting my nail growth journey. The lady who does my nails fixed my nails when we had a small issue which was likely due to my oily nail beds. She was so awesome & kind. I don't feel like they're talking poorly about me which a LOT of shops do. I 100% recommend this place. They take their time & the shop is well lit & great space. Thank you ladies see you in 2 weeks!
I just got my nails done by Thai for the first time and my toes done by Wendy. Definitely very happy with the service. Everyone was really nice and professional. My nails look great and I'm really happy... would definitely recommend and will be coming back.
My third time here! Excellent service! Every nail art done is a masterpiece. The place is a chill vibe with energetic staff. Will definitely recommend.

Sorry to say I won't be coming back. It was cheap and that was the only redeeming factor. My tail tech was nice but she seemed annoyed that I was asking her to change my nail shape or fix a crooked nail. Work was also sloppy and messy... my nail tech wanted to be done quick and I could tell she knew she was messing up too because she kept having to fix things. read more

I was a little nervous about going to a random person to do my acrylic nails full set bc I'm so damn picky. I ended up sitting with Kim. She listened to everything I said I liked and delivered a beautiful coffin shaped dainty nail. Not super thick...not wide... not lumpy. She did a great job. I was very impressed. I will definitely go back to her. Ivy did my pedicure and she did an amazing job also. She took her time and made sure they were perfect! read more

Very nice people, accommodating to walk-ins. Prices are reasonable, but unfortunately, my pedicure was not the best - polish was super goopy and messy (even worse than when I do it with my left hand) and my supposed 7 minute foot and leg massage was more like a 4 minute light rub. read more

Came here as a referral from a friend because my regular nail tech was no longer at the shop I normally go to (May have went back to Vietnam)... not too many places do dip powder so it's hard to find a new place. I chose pink colored dip powder since it's Valentine's Day this month... 3 days later the color started changing from the pink to an ombré pink/nude beige color. I thought maybe it was some kind of mood changing color or something, but no.... By day 7 they faded all the way from pink to nude... if I wanted beige nails I would've picked a beige color, not pink. I came back today to tell and show her what happened. Her idea of fixing.. putting additional coat of gel on top of dip powder... I hope this crap comes off with all these layers of stuff on my nails! She didn't even ask me what color I want, she just proceeded to use the one she wanted to use. I just said whatever because I'm going out of town and don't have time to argue and her assuming I did something to make the folks change. She asked if I dyed my hair, when clearly I have braids just like I had 7 days ago when I came the first time. Needless to say, I will never be coming back here again. Maybe she needs to go to Vietnam too and get retrained on how to use dip powder right. This place charge too damm much to be using cheap products! read more

This place can be empty with no customers getting a pedicure & they will still have you sitting in the chair with your feet in the water for 10+ minutes, while the girls in the back just talking. Service is decent, good selection of polish & place is clean looking. read more

I'm very picky when it comes to nail techs on the way they do my nails and I have been coming here for about 2 years now and counting, I come every 3-4 weeks and had no complaints on this place I couldn't be more in love with my nails each and every single time I get them done, Katie is the absolute best and I wouldn't go to anyone or anywhere else + really great prices compared to other place + and lots of regular / gel color choices to choose from, there is booklets of colors available also the ring with single colors, and the wall of color choices on the left side as you walk in, Walk ins are welcome and so are appts. And if you have a problem with a nail don't be afraid to ask Katie is really nice and friendly and works really hard , You won't regret coming here. Great business. When I was denied at White Diamond nails, Katie nails didn't hesitate to take me in. These salons are right down the street from each other. Initially when I walked into the other salon they responded with "we don't have time. " still I wanted to get my nails done so I came here to get a fill. They say me down anger got started right away. I came in with my friend and I just got a full while she got a Mani pedi. My full was a lot quicker than her service so IDK why the other place said they didn't have time. An older gentleman did my nails and they turned out great. He fixed the original nails I had gotten a month prior, when they looked uneven and disgusting. Thank you Katie nails for great service and nails! (my nails are not in tip top shape in this pic, I kinda wore and tore them by accident already, but initially, the nails were amazing.) read more

So i went at 6:30 pm, it was full but i only had to wait for like 5 minutes[no appointment] , i walked in there with a Pinterest image and they were like yup! We got you basically! So i got my pedicure, the older gentleman took my previous acrylics off sooo gently cause my reals aint the business and are thin. So nice, good people, humorous too. Love the environment. Super friendly staff, very clean, everything they used was sterilized and taken out of packaging in front of me, they even used plastic liner in the pedicure tub. I had gel mani and regular pedi, the polish they use seems to be their own special brand as I did not recognize their lacquer selection. In the end I was very pleased with the results, they had plenty of colors to chose from. They accept cards but bring cash for tips. read more

This place is fantastic! I cam for the pedicure and manicure gel color. I was so impressed with how clean the shop was and they used liners in the spa pedicure that is an absolute PLUS! Also all the tools used sterilized, they open the pack in front of you. Katie did an amazing job on my manicure gel and I got the Royal pedicure I was so relaxing the whole time with that fresh orange sugar scrub and hot lotion longer massage on my feet. Katie was so professional. She made sure that I was satisfied with her job. I will definitely coming back again and I highly recommend to anyone who wants to get the beautiful nails done. read more

I have been coming to Katie's nails for over a year now! I absolutely love all the works there! They are so welcoming and they never go on with conversations in there language like I've seen other nail salons do. They're so professional! I've gotten my nails done by almost all of them and all can do long coffin shaped nails and beautiful gel pedicures. I personally love how Vince does nails and request him every time but if he isn't available I go to any other nail tech! For the most part anytime I get long acrylic nails done here they last for over a month, I know this is important to hear ladies!! There talents truly do speak through their work! read more

My first time here and I'm pleased with the service, but it didn't start as good as I expected ,when I got there I was greeted by an older lady who was very nice I went in for a pedi and full set she right away set us up and some guy started working on my nails he seemed kinda rude and rushed he never asked me what shape I wanted almost seemed as if he didn't want to work on my nails , usually I'm very easy going so I decided to ignore it but as he kept working on my nails the job kept getting sloppier and sloppier no lie! he was done with my nails in like 10 mins really??? Well you can imagine the final results HORRIBLE !!! I told him I didn't like the nails and I wanted them off, right away Katie came and asked me what was the problem I explained to her and she offered to fix them she was so attentive and sweet she fixed my nails she took her time and was very nice not once did I get a rude vibe from her she apologize and did what was right I told her That im not like those annoying customers who complained about anything she said she understood and apologized she was so sweet and I'm glad she helped me , im glad I said something if I wouldn't off I would've left that place with a sour experience , sometimes is good to say when you don't like something it doesn't make you a bad customer and it allows the owner/ manager to know about any issues and possibly fix them I must say I left feeling pleased with the nails Katie did for me and my pedicure was amazing the girl was really nice and she didn't hurt me while cutting my nails overall everything turned out to look really good I will be coming back I loved the place so nice and clean. Parking is good it's in a small shopping center next to a Laundromat. They take debit but tips are only cash ! My advise is that if you don't like something voice it out and allow them to fix it cause it might turn out to be good read more

If I could give less than one star, I definitely would. My mom & I have been coming to Katie's Nails way before this "Ashley" character bought out the nail shop. I have had previous issues w/ the owner that includes, her attitude, lack or respect, & overall terrible time management skills. Today, as she was removing my nails, and literally cutting and hurting me, she made a sarcastic comment to me along the lines of, "you can't bite?" Insinuating I bite my own nails off. She then started claiming she could not do my nails because I had "fungus"-- the only place I've ever gone to is this nail place, so if indeed one of my nails has fungus it is due to their lack of cleanliness and use of the same tools. They are over priced and make appointments with you, but still make you wait 2+ hours after your original appointment time. Ever since Ashley has taken over this nail salon, she has continued to lose customers & treat them with disrespect. This is THE last time I will ever go into this nail shop -- Unless Vince (the best nail tech that worked there) decides to buy it and fire Ashley. This is how the "boss", Ashley, left my nails after making me wait 3+ hours when I had made an appointment with her prior to my visit. read more

No no no. I literally had a manicure 3 days ago and the polish is chipping off. Polish is cheap and to top it off my nails are uneven. Came here because it was close to my home but I'm willing to drive a good 15 mins to my usual spot for a good manicure. read more

Was referred by my cousin to this place . Communication was very bad .Made me get up two different times to move me around. I got my nails done by the "manager". I like my acrylic nails to be short and very natural if you see the attached picture they put too many coats on top. Making the nail look fat and uneven. Asked her many times to remove the extra piece that was by my nail and she said she would come back to it as you can see it's still there and it's bothering me! My daughter was happy with her polish gel , but I wasn't having it . Just an advise the manager should pay more attention to what she's doing and not on the other workers , walk ins , or getting up every minute to run a payment . I was scared she would cut me . I had to keep an eye on her at all time ! Definitely won't come again read more

I went in and I didn't know who I was going to get. I ended up with Vince working on my nails. It was worth the wait and the only nail place in my area that was open on Easter. He was very nice and fixed my chipped acrylic gel nail. I would trust him to do my nails again. read more

I drove past the Norwalk area while visiting family in San Gabriel for Christmas and had to do some last minute nails. Driving along Rosecrans, I saw the sign just right along the square, with CVS and O Reilly's. A few minutes of waiting and I got seated to have Vince work on my set. While the procedure was a bit longer than usual, he got the job done and a good job at that! read more
