    Corn Corned Beef Hash'n Eggs

Katy's Korner is a super cute local diner that is super popular for breakfast and brunch. My friend who grew up in the area highly recommended it so we went to try it on a Sunday morning around 10. Every table was full! And we waited about 5 minutes. Every one is hustling and bustling around and the walls are covered in decor. Not only is it a cutely decorated place but the food was also so yummy! My corn beef hash came out great and I asked for extra crispy potatoes.

This was salty, dark brown gravy. Not even the proper gravy for biscuits. The biscuit looked more like an English muffin. Horrible.

This is a hard review. Ive come here for YEARS and have felt a serious deterioration in the quality of food over time. The quality has diminished and the prices have gone up. I usually dont go out for breakfast, especially when I can make it at home for a fraction of the cost. I just left a doctor's appointment and settled here. I ordered hot tea and asked for almond milk and was told they dont carry it for tea or coffee. So odd. Then I ordered the biscuits and gravy plate. ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE. I included a picture to give you a visual of what I was served. They gave me a lot of eggs and potatoes. The eggs had no salt or pepper, the potatoes had too much. The "biscuits" were literally ONE BISCUIT and it was the size of a "biscuit" you would get at Popeyes or KFC. I swear to you. The gravy, wasnt even breakfast gravy. It was gravy they serve with mashed potatoes. It was dark brown gravy that was EXTREMELY salty. I paid $18.99 for this biscuits and gravy meal. I 100% should've gone to Black Bear Diner. I could have gotten a waaaaay better meal for much less. I cannot in good conscience recommend this breakfast to another person. Also, its super dark inside. I should've sat outside but it was too cold. The service was friendly enough. But I was there for the food. That is why it got this rating. The food quality was below average. Please look at the picture for context.

It's a cute breakfast place for us to go to. It's right on the corner of a shopping strip. Parking is special- it's a busy area . There is parking - you may have to park a few spots away. Inside and outside seating. We like to sit outside and enjoy coffee and breakfast in the mornings . I like their menu. There is something for everyone . I like the omelette and the staff is really nice . Very helpful and your coffee is always full. I like the walk up ramp in the side - everyone is welcome on the deck outside - I like that they go the next level to help my mom who walks with a cane and can't do steps .. this warms my heart -

7/10 Biscuits and gravy - may have read the menu wrong but I expected multiple biscuits, not one. The gravy was good, but nothing to write home to. Eggs were cooked well and they give you lots of crispy bacon!! Benedict was delicious. The potatoes are cooked and seasoned well and the hollandaise sauce is great! I will be back to try more things on the menu! Service is great and staff is very nice.

Food was ok but wayyyy to expensive for how it was. They only accept cash!! So beware! The ambiance was ok and there was a lot of space. There are many better places in carmel to have a meal.

This place is great to have breakfast any day of the week. We came on a Saturday morning and were immediately greeted and sat right away. The menu was very big but the crab omelette caught my eye. The portion size was huge and came with toast and delicious potatoes. My son ordered the steak and eggs and he cleaned his plate right up. It was really busy but the staff were very attentive. The ambiance was cute and cozy with quirky signs on the wall. I can't wait to try more items next time.

I ordered the Katy's Eggs Benedict. Not only was the portion small, all poached eggs were over cooked. And there was barely any Hollandaise sauce. Very disappointed.

Stopped in to share a quick bite and we enjoyed the classic eggs Benedict. I typically prefer to have the Florentine but this did the job, the English muffin was nice and soft, egg lady perfectly poached, with that golden yolk oozing out as I cut into it, and the sliced ham and hollandaise sauce added the perfect touch. The pancakes were aesthetically pleasing, reminded me those IG stories of the Japanese soufflé pancakes...but the taste was okay, nothing to rave about, it's a pancake! The staff are friendly, cooks are quick, and ambiance is quaint. Stop in if you're in the area.

First time here and no regret! We usually have breakfast around the area while waiting for my Kaiser morning appointment. So far, this place is the best we've tried! Less greasy, hearty, comforting. We actually want to go back an hour later! Plus point - they allow dogs outdoor too! They're nice and made sure we enjoyed the food.

They have quirky and fun signs decorating the inside.

We tried the breakfast sandwich and the specialty that they serve - "Eggy". It's a spin on a classic breakfast. Poached egg on top of smooth potato purée, with bacon and chives on top, served with slices of baguette. It is served in a glass jar. It is delicious and one of items that I would come back for. The sandwich that we got was "The B.E.C", was OK. Thick-cut bacon, over-medium egg, cheese, ketchup mayo, and a warm brioche bun. The bacon was a little too salty for my taste. They are limited on space inside but there is plenty of seating outside. Overall, a good place to visit for some delicious food and oh-yeah, they also have coffee and teas and other specialty drinks. Give them a try. They might be your new favorite breakfast spot.

They've got two small tables on the inside and a few tables on the outside for slightly bigger parties. You can order at their counter or at the kiosk, but service is pretty limited in general. My friend and I ended up opting for the same thing. We each got an Eggy and a hot Honey Matcha (regular size, no sugar added). The Eggy comes in a small glass jar filled with potato puree and topped with a poached egg, some chives, and bacon bits. It comes with four slices of baguette. The concept is very similar to Eggslut in Las Vegas, but is not very comparable. I think they lack some ingredients in the potato puree. It honestly just tasted like mash potato, but has room for improvement taste wise. My egg was a tad overdone, so it wasn't runny at all, so there's no egg yolk to mix in with the rest of the jar. It would more be tasty if it was runny though so that it would serve more as a dip with the baguette than a spread. They probably could have elevated the baguette a little more too - maybe with some seasoning. For a little jar, it is quite filling with the amount of carbs. My Matcha was also just okay. Flavor was a little flat, like it doesn't have a vibrancy to it like some Matcha does. The honey doesn't help much either. All in all, our lunch experience was okay. It might be better to go for their Sandos next time since there's probably more ingredients to it. I think I would opt for drinks next door if I were to come here again. Interesting experience though!

The shop is located in a plaza with several eateries, and it sits right by a courtyard with tables and chairs. There are a few tables inside as well. They are very efficient with their morning rush. I was ordering for several people, so I thought it would be more efficient to place my order online, even though it does state that their prices are 14% higher when ordering online (via Doordash). However, when I came to pick up my order, I was shocked that the online prices are WAY more than 14% higher. For example, their most popular item, the Eggwich with cheese and meat, is $8.45 online and only $6.39 in store. That's 32%. Ouch! PRO TIP: order in store if you're gonna go in to pick up anyway. So, how was the food? Actually quite good. What we got: + Eggwich with ham and cheese - bagel was soft and there was a decent amount of ham and eggs. + Eggwich with sausage and cheese on Jalapeno cheese bagel - the Jalapeno bagel was spicier than I expected. I had to pluck off a few Jalapenos, but I enjoyed the sandwich. + Pastrami sandwich on a roll - this was served on dutch crunch. Sandwich was tasty with a generous amount of pastrami and a good combination of veggies. Overall, a good bagel/sandwich shop in a great location. Their sandwiches are quite large for the low (in store) prices. Oh, they also have boba tea drinks and Vietnamese coffee. But we didn't try any of the drinks.

Curious to see if any changes were made to the restaurant or its menu, we met here for brunch on 10/04/2025. Upon entering at around 10:30am, we were immediately greeted and seated by the staff. George opted for the Baja Fish Tacos and I got the Meat Lover's Omelette. In addition to the food, we also ordered a couple beverages. Our order didn't take long to arrive. My omelette was made with bacon, sausage, ham, and a medley of chopped vegetables and it tasted pretty good. The accompanied Cajun seasoned country potatoes were pretty pedestrian. George gave me one of his tacos and it was delicious. The deep fried catfish used was crunchy on the outside and moist and flavorful on the inside. Service we received was very good. The staff member were attentive and efficient. The restaurant biz is challenging these days so hopefully the new Clementine's will be able to find its footing. It's especially frustrating because the rest of the food was very good. Sometimes simple is better--ditch the starchy coating and serve a good old-fashioned french fry!
