Nutella waffle, nutella crepe, mixed berry pancake, side of country potatoes
    Tvisha G.

I came here for brunch with a group of friends and got seated right away. The service was friendly, and the ambiance was rustic and charming. The food was well presented, and the portions were large. I tried the Nutella waffle with strawberries, banana, and whipped cream. It was yummy, but the waffle didn't taste very fresh to me, and the chocolate tasted more like regular chocolate than Nutella. I also think it could've used a bit more Nutella, especially since it was advertised as a Nutella waffle. That being said, the fruit was fresh and added flavor to the waffle, and the syrup paired well. The waitresses were very nice and accommodating, and they were able to separate all of our dishes into different bills per person, which we appreciated.

    Eggs Benedict and strawberry pancakes

My coworker and I split a nice breakfast at Katy's. It was recommended by the staff at the hotel we were staying at. We split the eggs benedict with bacon and an order of strawberry pancakes. They were both great and the orders were huge! Service was great, the food came out very fast. I would go back!

Great service, we were allowed to choose where we wanted to sit. We went around 12:30-1pm it wasn't too busy or noisy! Our waiter Celia was the sweetest, making sure we had everything we needed. We ordered huevos rancheros, classic egg Benedict , both 10/10! Cannot complain about this place!

    Brunch reunion meetup w/neighbors

I went to brunch here w/meat-eating neighbors .. they were all thrilled w/their selections but for me the only vegan choice was a token veggie burger, fries & salad- very sad ! ( & not very good either ! ) Service was fairly quick, it was quite busy & the servers knowledge of vegan options was non- existent & did not feel very accommodating, but this was a meal based on the company, not the food ( for me) It was kind of noisy & crowded & bustling so it seems like a popular place to eat, has a family friendly atmosphere & decor but not my cup of tea !

    French Toast

Came here since someone on the street recommended this place. I ordered a seafood cobb salad and My husband got French toast. We were greeted right away and u can sit wherever you like. The food came out very fast. I was impressed that they used real crab in the salad. They were very attentive with refilling coffee and water. My husband enjoyed his French toast. It seems like more of a traditional breakfast spot but they did have some unique items on their menu like calamari steak and eggs. The best service ever!

Classic egg Benedict with hard-boiled eggs!!!
    Luke P.

I'd thought I would try Katy's because of the low rating to see if it deserves it. And Yes it does! My wife's classic egg Benedict was hard-boiled, instead of poached. Obviously, the cook doesn't know how to make an egg Benedict in a brunch/breakfast restaurant !?!? We had to send the egg Benedict back! My O'brien potatoes (veggie omelette) were not "roasted" as advertised but deep fried and burnt! Not coming back.

Conn Seafood Cobb Salad, Basque Omelette, Country Style

Food was alright, but the service is meh. The waitress asked if we needed plates during the ordering process, we said yes. When our food was served, a second staff said she will bring our plates. However, we waited over 20mins... we didn't get our plates. I ended up asking the third staff to get that what we needed....

    Asian chicken salad.

The amenities show vegan options, but I don't see anything on their online menu? Trying to figure out if we can go here next week. Thanks!

Is it open for outdoor dining?

The last time we went it was only open for outdoor seating.

I was wondering if they do bottomless mimosas on Sundays?

    No they do not.

I ordered the Toscana sandwich with 24-month prosciutto, burrata, truffle honey, and arugula, and I can confidently say it was the best sandwich I've ever had in my life--and that's coming from someone who has traveled all over Europe, including Italy. Every ingredient tasted incredibly fresh, and the combination of flavors was just unreal. I got mine extra toasted, and it came out perfect--warm, crispy, and honestly tasted like it was made fresh out of the garden. The quality really stands out. On top of that, the staff were super friendly and made the whole experience even better. I would highly recommend this restaurant. The price is absolutely worth it for the quality you're getting.

You order at the counter and have the option to sit at a high top in front of the window, a few regular tables, or outside. The bread on all sandwiches was so fluffy but toasty on the outside. La Nonna - meatballs, eggplant, and mozzarella. The sauce on this sandwich was incredible. The meatball to eggplant ratio was perfect and the melted cheese brought it all together. California - a solid turkey avocado sandwich. Lucca - the burrata overpowered the sandwich and the ratio to the salame was not up to par but the caramelized onions made up for it. Don't get me wrong, the Genova's in the big (little) Dub Cee does what it can to keep up and turns out some pretty decent sandwiches. It has all the trademark imported knickknacks (biscotti, multicolored taffy in well-worn bins, boxed panettone, etc.) as well as traditional staples like wine, fresh pasta and the famed Genova's brand boxed frozen ravioli for you to take home and spoil your family with in a variety of flavors like artichoke, mushroom and even pumpkin. But it lacks soul. It lacks spirit. It doesn't have any of the flavor that the Genova's in Oakland had and each sandwich churned out is indicative of that. It's just not that good. And for a sandwich you have to wait a mighty long time for, it better be good. Real good. So, I've come to terms with the fact that I don't have a Genova's left to go to and that's okay. Sometimes it's better to have loved and lost (a sandwich) than never to have loved at all.

This time, though, I wanted to try something different, so I went with the chicken and mushroom filling. It was also very tasty. One thing I really like is that they focus more on the filling, and the bread is not too thick. It always has that slightly greasy goodness in the best way. So yummy. As much as I enjoyed the food, my interaction with the woman working there this time was not great. When I arrived, she was unpacking a box. She saw me but did not greet me or ask if I was ready to order. I stood there awkwardly for a few minutes before she finally asked. It would have been nice to be acknowledged right away. I ordered two different fillings, and when she was packing them, I asked if she could please label them so I would know which one was which. She responded by saying, "I wasn't going to make you guess." I did not find that very friendly. In fact, I thought it was borderline rude. I still really enjoyed the food, but that interaction took away from the overall experience a little bit. I wish the customer service had been a bit warmer.

Fortunately, the food inside lives up to the '80's music. This place is a little Eastern-European treasure chest. The meat selection alone is worth the trip: excellent veal sausages, proper kabanosy (both American-made and the legit European imports), and enough smoked and cured options to make you reconsider every bland sandwich you've ever eaten. Then there's the sweets. Not just a few shelves: an impressively deep lineup of Eastern European treats, both loose and packaged.
