Incredible food and incredible service. Our waiter took such excellent care of of us. Sadly I don't remember his name. He was a tall Georgian-American man with brown hair, but either way, his recommendations and service were excellent. From the khachapuri (I believe it was called) an incredibly delicious pie/breading with cheese inside to the unbelievable dessert (forgot the name but pictured below) eveything was amazing. He even gifted us a bottle of the delicious peach flavored lemonade drink called Zedazeni that we had with our meal. It was Saturday night and there was live music inside the restaurant. I recognized a Ukrainian song by Kazka. People were dancing and appeared to be having a good time but we sat outside as we were in the mood for a more quiet experience. Been there a couple of years ago, was not too bad. But came there last night for a dinner with my family, guys, this place is disgusting, so dirty, very stinky. The food was soo bad, just don't get it, how the Famous Meals from Kavkaz Region could be cooked as it was prepared. Just two wild guesses: very cheap and overdue ingredients, or completely unprofessional chiefs. We have been going to Kavkaz since they have opened at least one ever couple of months and it's always delicious and a fun night of dancing. Sometimes they have a traditional show which they charge $5 per person for and well worth it. I threw my sisters bridal shower here last year as well and they went above and beyond our expections. They even had fresh floral arrangements delivered as centerpieces without us having to pay any extra! The staff is attentive and very pleasant and the singer is always a bundle of energy. YOU MUST TRY THE CHACHIPURI PO'AJARSKI which is the best thing ever known to man kind. It is a bread boat baked with cheese and a raw egg on top. Don't freak out!! Fun restaurant to visit . Believe it or not you see 80 year old men and women dancing to music I can almost guarantee you've never heard before. This dude in a small stage is singing his life away and , there you are , trying to figure out what's going on . As far as experiences go this place gave me one and it was quite refreshing. As for the food, it was good, but not great. I think there's room for improvement , but for the dancing, laughs and music it's worth while coming for a drink and appetizers. I tried almost everything on the menu and I would recommended Khinkali and Adjaruli Khachapuri. This is where the positive review ends. Typical soviet customer service. Very slow and not customer friendly at all. If there is live music you have to run from there ASAP. Musicians are horrible and on top of that, they also allow drunk customers to go on stage and sing as well, which turns this place into a nightmare very fast. If you take in consideration their prices ($$$), customer service and overall environment is not even near where it should be. Because of all above I decided not to go there anymore and order through Uber Eats, however unfortunately they can't even get that right. I ordered few times and my orders were always missing items. Also they reject Uber Eats orders very often too, happened to me 3 times which makes me think that they are just lazy to make the orders. I think we are so lucky with the variety of food options in Miami. Kavkaz Restuarant is hidden place in Miami. Even though GPS gave me a little bit of trouble to find this place, I am happy that I had a chance to give a try their delicious special pie with cheese and egg yolk. I have a lot of experience with "Russian" restaurants and had some expectation coming in. We expected loud and fairly bad, though welcomed by most of the guests, live music. We expected higher pricing but good quality of authentic foods and spices and we expected restaurant being staffed appropriately. What we get was not exactly what we expected. First of all, there was no pastries - Caucasian cuisine is known for that and we were planning on it. They said they had an incident with the oven, so couldn't bake anything. That was unfortunate, but it happens - can't hold it against them if it really did happen right before we came in. However, they also told us that they didn't have any bread and couldn't get any - for Saturday night and them expecting a group of almost 30 from us, that was unacceptable. There are bakeries around and grocery stores if it comes to it. We then noticed them somehow serving bread to other tables - the restaurant was packed - and we had to point it out to actually get some. Our group had 15+ kids and they were going really hungry and needed to snack on something. After we confirmed that pastries were the only thing they were out and started ordering, turned out that there were quite a bit of other items on the menu they were out of - once again, Saturday night with packed restaurant and our reservation of 30 made earlier in the day. When food started coming, they managed to forget some orders, mix up others and started being rude too. Once again, not exactly uncommon for Russian restaurants, but most respectable once train their stuff not to do that. The majority of the food was great with the exception of pork kebab - extremely fatty and hard to eat. However, getting any attention was nearly impossible - with fully packed restaurant and them knowing they'd be busy, they had 3 waitresses that were getting increasingly overworked, behind and frustrated, which resulted in them starting to snap at us. Another unexpected development was the size of the portions - while appetizers were on the larger side, the actual entries were tiny. We drove for over an hour to get there and were extremely disappointed with the whole experience. read more

She had actually been there before and liked it, and was very pleased with the surprise choice. We loved everything we tried. The server Vladimir was very nice, but I think he was trying to steer us toward things he thought would work for an American pallet. We on the other hand were interested in trying "different". The food here is good and there is also outdoor seating. I had the khachapori which is like a round, very cheesy calzone that was cooked to order - hot and ooeygooey if you love cheese. The kebabs were the star - moist without being burned. The menu online is nothing accurate and kebabs around $12-16 for just the meat with no sides. Ordered a Napoleon for dessert ($6) because they ran out of all the other desserts. I probably would not order that again as it was stale. Main issue was the service - we were not greeted with a smile, our side of mashed potatoes never arrived, and we were having to remind the waitress to refill the water and drinks.
