The staff was rude and very uninterested when we were trying to spend thousands of dollars on wedding rings and wedding bands also tried to upgrade a tennis bracelet. We asked 5 times to get my ring size and they never even accomplished that simple task so we left in frustration hopefully another jeweler would appreciate our business more. read more

Terrible customer service! There was a monotone speaking man and a short lady who were working that day. The short lady was busy playing with her boyfriend's dog and the monotone speaking man told us to go online and shop. I bought 2 items at this exact store the one necklaces broke on its own. They wouldn't give me a cash refund only store credit. The bracelet needed to be resized they first said $45 to resize it than they called me back and said $75. I would never buy from any Kay Jewelers just because of the bad experiences I have had. read more

I'm not sure the mans name who helped us although take helped us on two occasions .'once to pick out my engagement ring and size my finger . The second time he helped i wish he had been a little better at explaining to us the process of getting a ring sized and that it would cost and take a few days to come . He didn't tell us until we came back to pick up the ring that he had to send it out which we had thought was already done . The only inconvenience was waiting another 2 weeks to pick up my ring . Had a horrifically offensive encounter at this store. I brought in my sterling silver ring which was severely tarnished after one wear to ask what to do. The man starts by telling me sterling silver gets tarnished easily and some people have a body chemistry that just tarnishes it faster (okay no biggie) he then goes on and says "I don't want to offend you but when people have a poor diet their body produces more acid and it tarnishes faster" ...... Even if that's true why would you EVER insinuate that somebody eats unhealthy. Now I'm a somewhat chubby girl but what is to say that I don't have a thyroid problem that causes me to be heavier even if I eat health. Even if I ate McDonalds every day there is absolutely no reason for him to tell me that my diet is the reason my ring was tarnished after 4 hours of wear time. This was the worst shopping experience I've ever had in my life. I'm just mad I was too shocked to say anything while I was standing there. Absolutely furious with this location. Went this morning to exchange my Christmas present, a small diamond heart-shaped, white gold necklace gifted by my boyfriend. He paid $300 for it online so we were either going to select another item of equal or lesser value or get a full refund and purchase something elsewhere. I found a larger diamond, heart-shaped white gold necklace for $299. It had a smaller diamond weight so I figured that's why it was bigger but still the same price. At the register the sales woman had to call another salesman over (I thought he was the manager but later found out it wasn't). She indicated she was having an issue doing an even exchange. He then tells me, well they're having a sale so actually we are only paying $260 and will get a credit. So my boyfriend hands over his credit card and we leave, happy.....until we got to the car. I was happy with the new size and said that we lucked out saving $30. That's when my boyfriend says, then why was the credit only $11? I was so confused so I checked the receipt and he was right, $11.75 credit. There were a few line items on the receipt, one totalling $59.99 which was very confusing and something for $199. Very confused, so we just went on our other errands and I waited to get home to check the item online and sure enough they cheated me. The new item only costs $199 so they added, WITHOUT MY PERMISSION, some type of warranty that cost $59.99. All in an attempt to hike up the cost of the item. Oh and did I mention that the new item wasn't even white gold??? It was silver. Which explains why the warranty didn't read at all like the warranty that came with my original purchase which spelled out exactly what I purchased, white gold with diamonds. This one just had a bunch of stock numbers. We now have to go back to the store once again when my boyfriend is back next weekend to do a refund. I am calling tomorrow morning to speak to the manager, George. Maybe he can explain to me why his salespeople are cheating customers. Very very disappointed. I also purchased my boyfriend's citizen watch from Kay so I'm furious that they cheated me like this. Will never purchase from this location again. read more

The ONLY reason I put one star is because I had to click on one so my review would be published. I wouldn't give any stars if I had the choice. I went in with my husband to get my rings looked at because we purchased a warrantee on my engagement ring and wedding band and the first thing out of the girls mouth was "what's wrong with them?!" She said they could be inspected and proceeded to take my rings. She continued to be completely rude and took MY rings and put them on her finger as she tapped on them with her nail as my inspection. We are in a pandemic. I am completely grossed out. The other male working didn't even have his mask on. My rings couldn't be cleaned bc their machine broke. I took the sanitizer and rubbed it all over my rings before I put them back on. This was absolutely horrible service and I will be going to another location from now on because it was disgusting service At the Clifton location. read more
