We were shopping for engagement bands at the Tejon outlets and we stopped into Kay unfortunately. We were approached by a swarthy salesman. When he asked what we were looking for we told him engagement bands. When he saw it was two men asking he, did not look happy. He took us to what he had. It did not take anything out and said we have only size 10. And then just looked and stared at us. We asked him a few more questions and did not seem eager to show us anything even though there wasn't anyone else in the store. The store looked empty and there wasn't much of a selection, but I still think he probably could've tried to sell us something. We left and went to Kevin jewelers just down the way in the outlet, and had a great five-star experience. Please see our yelp review there. Unless you want to be treated badly I would not go into Kay Jewelers outlet!

I will never spend a single penny with this company. I travel extensively for work. I was passing…read morethrough Wheeler Ridge on 04/05/2025. I have a watch with a metal bracelet, that needs to be fitted for me, and a watch that needs a replacement battery. I found Kevin Jewelers on Apple Maps. According to their page they open at 09:00. I figured that was incorrect, because they are inside an outlet mall. So I called the store to find out their hours. The message told me I called outside their store hours, and to call back during business hours. That's great if the message told you what the business hours were, it did not. The mall opened at 10:00 am. I figured it was a safe bet that Kevin's would be open. This was at 11:00 and they were still closed. According to the very friendly, and helpful gentleman in guest services for the mall all the stores are to be opened at 10:00 am unless they notify the mall of a problem. The mall was never notified of any issues. The store finally opened at 11:30. They informed me very (rudely I would add) that they cannot change a battery or adjust my watch bracelet. First because I didn't purchase the watch from them. Then it changed to because they don't have a jeweler. I told them if they answered their phone I could have saved a trip. The woman told me over and over that I didn't call. She basically called me a liar. The staff here were very rude, and unprofessional. I'm a luxury watch collector, but I would never bring my business to this chain of Jewelers. Billy Wild The Bougie Trucker.

I rarely write reviews but people need to be warned. I…read morerecently took a 925 silver chain in along with some others curious about what I'd be offered. The chain weighed 95g which was over $250 scrap value (266 today) and he told me he could only give me 30% of spot value. Then proceeded to offer me $35. First of all, 30% of spot is criminal. That alone shocked me. But the $35 he offered was only 14% of scrap value! This is beyond sleazy business practice. Every single online metal scrapper that I checked offered 4 to 5x that offer. He also wanted $30 to test it. It's sad to see someone part of such a small community, trying to rip off people that don't know any better. Good thing I know better, but I'm sure many don't. Anyways, hold onto your silver. The world is seeing a huge supply shock right now. If you really need to sell, check other sources.

I was going to let this one go but then a friend had a worse experience…read more About 4 months ago I came to Adams for a watch battery. I have been buying/selling/dealing in watches since 1999. I have been a collector since 1992. I had a vintage Casio watch that I was going to sell and it needed a battery. I explained to the owner that I needed a battery and he put one in quickly without telling me the price. He immediately told me to set the time myself. He then says $20.00! Wow! really? I have never paid over $8.00 in my life and he was too lazy to set the time. I guess he figured the more you charge and the less you do the more you make! GREED! The experience bothered me a lot and I tried to let it go as I hate leaving negative feedback. Fast forward to a few days ago. My friend is moving away and I wanted to visit him one last time. He had an interesting watch and I commented on it. He then told me it needed a battery today and when he said that; he came off annoyed. Without him saying anything else, I said you went to that place on China Lake and he charged you $20.00! He said No! $25.00! He told me he walked in and asked how much is a battery? He wanted the battery so he could do it himself. The owner grabbed the watch and quickly put one in. Then (ARE YOU READY FOR THIS?) he says you can set the time yourself, go on youtube! My friend said, "No, you set the time" and he did. Was the extra $5.00 because my friend asked to buy the battery and not the installation? I explained to my friend that the same thing happened to me. I said I am going to leave him a negative feedback now that there is a pattern. My friend said to mention his story. Come on! Don't treat people like this! Making money is one thing. Laziness and greed is another. I was the only one in the store when I visited Adams, I am not sure about my friend. I doubt it was packed.
