The location is great. The build is new and nice. The signage is eye catching and bring people in. The decor is typical. The photos of the family traveling is a neat idea. The menu has a good variety. Food is definitely Americanized. The food is just average. The chips and salsa are extra and the guacamole seemed a little over priced but I'm not sure how much avocados cost in Idaho. The actual meals were just okay. I have eaten here twice now and not impressed. The kitchen sink burrito was not good. Unfortunately it tasted just like it's name. Sounds mean but my 13 year old cooks better than that. It was busy on the inside and was difficult to find a table. There was a super large group that had no common courtesy and acted like they were the only people in the world. They had already finished and were just hanging out and talking. They had no responsibility for their kids and they were running around inside like it was a playground. This part was not really in control of the business but they could have maybe mentioned for them to leave when completing their meal so others who had ordered could sit down and enjoy their meal. And to not let their kids run around bothering others. I have a family four kids but would never let them be disrespectful to others and behave in such a manner. read more

This place has trouble with consistency. I actually enjoy the food but each time I order the same burrito, it's a completely different experience. My most recent mistake was asking for extra sauces on the side with my delivery order. My burrito in turn was half the size as my previous order and completely dry with no sauces. I hope they find time to manage their staff and cooks. Likely just kids that don't care. read more

I grew up eating KBs as a Ketchum/Sun Valley native. Unfortunately in the past few years or so it's gone downhill. I think most of the reason is because it's understaffed. Today I went there and the people who made my burrito didn't even wrap it, it was sloppily put together. I will continue to go there to support my home town business but I sure hope they can find some staff and tighten the ship up, I would hate to see them go. Oh my gosh. Hot Saturday afternoon, we wanted yummy local Mexican food, found this place on a whim, it is sooooooo good. Husband got the street tacos, I got the fish (mahi mahi) tacos. I tried every salsa, and sauce they had. Son had some kind of chicken burrito. I barely came up for air, the first tacos were the best I've ever had in Idaho. Wow. Perfectly seasoned and grilled fish, crunchy cold cabbage, to die for sauce, and the tortilla held up in my hand without falling apart..... basically every part was so delicious and perfect. We are new to the area and have been to this restaurant 3 times in the last six weeks. It unfortunately didn't live up to the rave reviews. To give them a fair shake, we sampled a variety of items from their menu: fish tacos, burritos, quesadillas, and salads. Each visit the food appeared to get worse. Overall I found that the food tastes very bland, it lacks flavor and spices. On the positive side, they have good customer service and friendly staff, a nice variety of fresh salsa available, and a good selection of alcoholic drinks considering the size of this establishment. read more

We have tried KB's a handful of times over the last year. I have to say, for being a "burrito" restaurant, their burritos are very sub-standard. I love a good bean & cheese burrito, and keep forgetting not to order one here. They are terrible! Expensive ($10 for a lightly "filled" tortilla; lightweight with more tortilla than anything), flavorless, unbalanced (was there a bean??); and the last "custom" burrito I ordered, I added to the beans & cheese spinach (got a mouthful of salad mix - not spinach), jalapeños, onions, green chilies, & roasted garlic. Nothing melded, and as usual, not very enjoyable. Next time I want a burrito I'll go to Los Betos. We also got 3 tacos (3 for 2 - taco night - again, expensive @ $8.99). They were good, on double corn tortillas. With the right sauces (the hottest ones are good! Fresh & flavorful), the steak, shrimp & Mahi-mahi are good. Don't even bother with the enchiladas...not good, as I recall. I need to remember not to go back, unless I just want queso dip & sauces! read more

Mm I was hoping for better especially with all the rave reviews. I was a little disappointed with the "famous" fish tacos. They used flour tortillas (not my favorite) and so with the sauce they put over the fish, made them so soggy and wet. They didn't have much flavor honestly. The tacos were all one note, the slaw just tasted like Mayo dressing dripping from the tacos. I liked the endless chips and salsa bar though. My husband got the Ketchum burrito, he said overall he liked it. I'm not easily convinced so I think I'll have to try this place again to give it a better review. read more

Food was very good, and the mango margarita was great. People complaining about the card fees don't realize other businesses just bake it in to the overall higher cost. Dining area was very open and clean. Only thing missing from it being a 5 star was $4 for the chips and salsa. Food here is below average at best. Tortilla chips taste like they came from Costco and the salsa, despite having so many varieties, didn't taste fresh. The dining room was also very dusty and all the high chairs were dirty with food stuck on them despite it being fairly early in the morning. There were many large black flies buzzing around inside with open salsa bowls nearby. It doesn't seem like they care to clean the dining room. It makes me shudder to think what the kitchen must look like. read more

Came in for dinner last night. It's a type of place where you order at the counter, sit down, and then they bring you your food. Pretty low key place! The patio is shaded very well. The chips and salsa don't come with your food but you get a lot and they have a nice salsa bar. I liked the mango salsa. My Hailey Burrito was so good! My husband liked his Ketchum burrito as well and of course my daughter enjoyed her kids quesadilla. The margarita was worth the $5. Overall we had a nice low key dinner here. The burritos are not your normal taqueria burrito but they felt healthier and fresher ingredients. We'll definitely be back. read more

This was an incidental discovery. My sons were meeting their church group here before the movie and I thought I would jump in and get a burrito while I waited. First impressions were good. It was clean and it was open seating, no booths. You simply walk up to the counter and order one of the many burritos they have and they'll give you a number to take to your table and wait. The number is actually on a little stand and I believe it's a picture or a symbol. Don't forget to grab that before you walk away. The chips and salsa are complementary and are around the back left side of the prep area and pick up window. Easy to find. Very echoey ambience but festive and well decorated. I ordered the Carnitas burrito and was not disappointed. It was fantastic. I opted for no yams but I promised I would order it as is next time. The cashier said that he's not a yam guy either but that I just had to try it because it was amazing. The Carnitas meat was tender and well seasoned and delicious. Vegetables were fresh and chopped to the right size. Do not expect to find a gargantuan burrito when you pick up your food because this is not that kind of a place. I'm sure you can try to order one that way but generally they are well sized without being grotesque and falling apart. easy to handle easy to eat. It looks like they have two sizes, one regular and one large. Standard soft drink selection and You can make a salad out of any of the selection from what I understand. Pretty decent parking outside. Was looking forward to supporting this local business. Unfortunately there was some serious sticker shock at the register. I've been to many burrito places across the country including blue coast burrito, moe's and chipotle. All are better than this place. Extremely poor quality Costco bulk chips for the "chips and salsa bar" that isn't included like everywhere else, nope it is $5.99 posted all over the store. Great place and cool atmosphere, salsa bar is amazing and the queso dip is really good too. Save your money and your appetite for something better - very disappointing. It astonished me when people think their cooking is good enough to sell let alone open a restaurant to boot. Our order; Chicken Burrito (make your own) - tasteless Chili verde - (which, unknown to me, came as a burrito) very little pork and verde sauce and NO FLAVOR. But lots of beans n rice. Only thing good was the pork was not dry considering everything else. I would have never known it was "chili verde" based on the flavors. Beef enchilada - very little flavor, beans under cooked. Quesadilla- not much to it it, barely enough cheese - okay if you were a child, I guess. Chips & salsa - one salsa was bland and not worth eating. The other was only good when compared to the other choice. Very weak!! I'm guessing they make their food to please old retired folks - bland and simple . . . Hey, Wait a second, I'm old and retired! Awesome spot with a great atmosphere and vibe altogether. Best authentic Mexican food I've had since SoCal. No Tex-Mex crap (also lived in Texas) or personal flare added. Just great tacos, burritos, salsas, and cervesas. Oh and they also have a patio that could support great live music similar to their playlist which I love seeing as it's all Rebelution, Iration, Dirty Heads, Ballyhoo!, etc. that island style music. I don't understand the high rating for this place. Do you even put spices in your food? Runny and bland beans, dry and bland rice. Soggy fish tacos had better flavor than the other items, but they were incredibly soggy and messy. The salsa was probably the best part - tasted like it had been freshly made on location. Chips tasted like they were purchased at the grocery store. This place made me want to cry, and now I miss California Mexican food even more! Came here for the first time after hearing positive reviews and was pretty excited since the website boasts about authenticity. I ordered the shrimp tacos, chips and salsa with "cheese dip" or their queso. Maybe I came in with too high of expectations, especially since I'm from San Antonio TX. The tacos were a fair size but would have been better had it been grilled instead of BOILED. Also, there was salsa placed on the taco which made them both become soggy really fast so forewarning to order that on the side. I'd say the queso was pretty good compared to most places and tasted more of a white cheddar base. Authentic? Not in my opinion but can satisfy your craving. I'm not sure if I ordered something that isn't their specialty but also unsure yet if I'll try it again. read more

Great friendly service, salsa bar has many options from mild to wild! Food was fresh and they were quick to plate! My wife wife ordered the veggie burrito but was more like a wrap, would suggest wrapping more like a burrito! Think they want to make the burritos seem bigger than they are!
