My husband and I went to KC Wine and Koffee bar for dinner the other night, it was wonderful!! I told him that I had been there for lunch earlier in the week, and how good it was. He was unusually skeptical and grumbled a bit about how he "didn't want wine or Coffee" for dinner tonight, and I assured him he wouldn't have to have either one! They have made several changes including offering a full bar and a fairly extensive menu. D raved about the Surf snd Turf, which included a perfectly cooked tenderloin steak, delish shrimp and the vegi's & potato accompaniment was expertly done (amazing how many decent restaurants don't get the side dishes right!), I had the same dish I had ordered for lunch, the Gyro plate which was all the ingredients for a gyro but plated with each item stacked separately: the lamb (delicious, tender and flavorful) sliced and slightly fanned out on the plate along with each ingredient (cucumber, onion, tomato, crispy crunchy romaine lettuce, a cup for the tzatziki sauce, and fresh warm pita bread triangles so you can load up each bite just the way you want it. Wonderful! Service was excellent; friendly, efficient and attentive just like it had been when I was there for lunch a few days before. We were both too full to try dessert but will definitely do that next time, and there will definitely be many more next times! read more

This is our new favorite place. My mom, cousin and I intended to go elsewhere in Crystal River but it was closed so we started walking down the block in search of adult libations. We happened to run into two tourists from Indiana who raved about KC Wine and Koffee Bar. They were absolutely right. The place is cozy and inviting, with a super friendly staff. It's the kind of place where ladies can feel comfortable coming in alone for a drink. We didn't even realize the place had food until our awesome waitress Christine showed us the menu. We started with a charcuterie board and ended up staying for dinner. Everything was incredible. I also discovered my new favorite Sauvignan Blanc here -- Stingray Bay. My wife and I went in for a comedy show and dinner. The fish was old and not fresh. It had a rubbery texture and we barely ate any before sending it away. The waitress herself said that comedy nights are "a shit show" and she is the only seasoned server here which was a lie. She was not attentive at all and obviously overwhelmed. Not at all what I expected, in the best of ways. Imagine a wine bar with excellent excellent selection- with fantastic Greek food served in brown baskets. My husband's wine smoothie was a SMOOTHIE, ie frozen fruit blended with straight red wine. It was the most delicious frozen wine ever. On top of this, the service is divine. Polite but certainly willing to chat and give great recommendations. Whatever you do, try their pita chips with aioli. They are the steak fries of bread and they are amazing. My wife placed an order via Door Dash on February 9, 2023. Door Dash had the order correct but KC Wine and Koffee Bar got the order wrong. The Door Dash person said she watched the cook preparing our order and the cook wasn't wearing gloves so the Door Dash person told them to remake the order. We are regular customers and found the Crystal River location excellent but I will not visit or order from the Beverly Hills location in the future. Stopped in for lunch on a Thursday. The meal & service were both very good. I had a ribeye steak hoagie with fries, which was excellent. The meat was tender and perfectly seasoned and the plank fries were outstanding. The fries were huge, homemade & delicious. They were a meal by themselves. "Crazy Christine" was our waitress. You'll be back! A couple we met on the street recommended this place raving about the burger and ribeye shawarma. This is our second visit and both times everything was excellent! I've had the Falafel salad twice. It was perfect both times. Fresh perfectly dry mixed lettuce with crisp apple and very flavorful falafel. The dressing is served on the side (yes!). A side of tzatziki is great with the Falafel. We also had the Lumpia and tuna appetizers. Both were fantastic. We brought our dog both times and they were very accommodating to our pet on the patio. The concept is a good idea, but reality is that it didn't fit the bill as I might have expected: I was thinking from the name that we might have a wine flight, but even the wine list was missing. We did share some appetizers that were good with versions of lumpia, traditional, Reuben, or Cuban as well as ahi tuna. The service was right on time and the ambiance relaxed. We enjoyed a glass of wine and there is a variety available, just not written down as the availability varies often. My guess is that this is the same with the coffee. read more

He and Angela our waitress (who btw is also awesome), gave us of good recommendations for area restaurants and attractions (Angela told us to go visit Rainbow Springs (blue water) which was a great suggestion). I decided to make a mini trip out to enjoy the springs. When I arrived I was looking for a cozy, relaxing spot to enjoy a drink and get settled in. The location was great, right in the middle of the tourist area of town. The exterior was cute like a very clean, cozy pub bar. The environment and music was relaxing.
