Been to a few Keke's now and there's never a bad thing to say. My favorites are the pancakes with eggs. The pancakes are absolutely massive and I never can finish them, the food is tasty and the service is good. Stopped in for breakfast. Large restaurant located in corner of Largo plaza by Safeway. Large menu, and friendly staff. We were seated fast the place was busy but no wait time so that was nice. We sat in a booth. The menu has a lot of neat items. Prices are ok. It annoyed me they didn't have a clear combo with a clear price. The have their fancy meals then there's a bubble of a combo with many options and no clear prices. Our usual breakfast is two eggs scrambled, home fries, toast, and bacon. Here it's a two egg combo with no meat for six something. Then add side bacon for 3.99. The meal comes to 10something with out a drink. Pricy for simple egg combo. Aside from prices the food tasted good. Eggs were soft and fluffy, bacon had 4 slices which were good not just long strips of fat. Came with slice of orange which was good and juicy. Simple white toast. Potatoes sliced with little onion little seasoning which was crisped up and good. Next time maybe we'll try something different. I went to the largo mall location for the first time with my daughters and did not have to wait to be seated. We waited for the food a long time. The scrambled eggs, toast and fries were good although the small orange wedge was not enough. Coffee was lousy. One daughter ordered two pancakes and the other an omelet. We had quite an enjoyable breakfast, I highly recommend Keke's tucked in the NW corner of Largo Mall. We were seated right away, even on a Sunday morning, and the service was very quick and friendly. The place is new and very spacious and clean. The food was the best part, hot fresh waffle, fresh omelette, great toast and actually good coffee plus they have interesting kid's toy to play with (wiki stix instead of crayons) so they were entertained and quiet. My little sister in law had come down from Georgia so I decided to take her to breakfast before she went back home. Once we walked in the restaurant, it was very dead. It was only one table in the restaurant and I only knew someone was there because I heard a baby. Once we got sat and got our drink order taken. It took the guy about 5-6 minutes to come back with our drinks. Which wasn't to bad because we weren't to much in a rush. We got our meal order taken a while after. Once we got our food order i realized tables had come in slowly. By the time I realized we haven't received our food and EVERY OTHER table that come in afterwards had received theirs I started to get upset. I asked to speak with the manager NICK and he didn't seem to have a worry in the world as well as he didn't seem to much to care about what I had to say. As he was walking up to my table to address the situation my food was coming as well with the server. My French toast was cold as if it had sat waiting for the other food to come as well as my sausage links. He said as long as the food came out and it's hot then I should be happy in other words. "Things happen" another thing he said, which remind you we were the table to walk in before everyone else!!! And to watch people walk in afterwards receive their food and eat it box the rest up to take home and I'm just receiving my food, VERY upsetting and I'll NEVER return! This place just recently opened in the Largo mall.I have been there several times and each time the food was very good and the staff very friendly.They have a nice variety of menu items and I have yet to find one I didn't like.Prices are reasonable and usually not much of a wait to get seated.Great place for seniors or families. read more

We have our favorite breakfast stop, but thought we would give it a try on a Sunday morning. We arrived about 8:30, place was clean enough, seated quick. We both had coffee, which was brought out immediately. Our food arrived about 15 minutes later by someone other than our server. My omelette came with whole wheat toast, which didn't come out but was told it was coming up. Server came back, we asked for coffee refills, even if there was a drop left, it had now been over 20 min. Server smiled and then took the order behind us. Never saw her until the check was dropped. No coffee, no toast, just the check. So we paid, no tip and left. If you're a breakfast place and don't have someone walking around to refill, then you shouldn't be selling breakfast. If I could give this place 0 stars I would! Came here for lunch, walked in & it smelt absolutely disgusting! Ordered the buffalo chicken wrap and my boyfriend ordered a breakfast wrap, my buffalo chicken wrap was so dry & the chicken pieces were brown and crusted, looked like it had been microwaved, they might not have a microwave as the rude manager came to later "let me know" but it definitely hasn't been cooked to order as she also instructed me. As for my boyfriends wrap, not one thing in it was made fresh or cooked all the way through & also had missing ingredients. The server was okay but the manager was rude. Second visit here, first time having lunch here. Staff friendly and attentive, place clean and packed. We ordered onion rings, a Carolina chicken wrap, and a ham and cheese on rye. Onion rings arrived with our entrees and were good but needed another minute in the fryer - not crunchy at all. Wrap was good, panini came on the wrong bread but was good. Our waitress made several rookie mistakes (lemon in tea when we said no lemon, didn't introduce herself, wrong bread on sandwich, refilled my wife's tea but not my water, etc.). But she was attentive, charming, and apologetic, so I think she's just new. None of her mistakes would stop me going back there and sitting in her section again - everybody makes innocent mistakes - and I tipped her 20%. Overall the food was good but not as good as their breakfast fare. Chicken wrap was blander than I expected with ingredients like grilled chicken, bacon, cheddar, pecans, romaine and honey mustard dressing. I don't think the chicken was seasoned at all, and I really didn't taste the bacon. We will definitely go back for breakfast, but maybe not for lunch. read more

Went to KeKe's today for brunch first thing they wanted to do was give us a booth right infront of the bathrooms! Disgusting. There should never be booths or tables infront of bathrooms. We saw plenty of open tables and booths. Finally got seated at a huge table/ booth. Ordered our food and then she brought drinks then we waited 25 minutes for our food, waitress didn't come over to us in those 25 minutes. I had to flag her down to see how much longer it was going to be. We got our food 5 minutes later and my mom ordered the pancakes which is a three stack, the waitress brings my mom her pancakes and there is only one! She stated that since they are so big she only ordered my mom one pancake. She told us that they would take 6 dollars off. Weird that she didn't even ask if we wanted one pancake instead of 3. Also they only took off $2 instead of $6. So my mom paid 4.99 for one pancake! This place is over priced and the food is just ok. You have to pay extra for meat sides. Too over priced!! I used to love going to Keke's cafe in Tampa but it was far for me. I was happy to find out about this location however it's Terrible!!!! The pst few times the service would take forever just because we would request a table! Today it was a bad experience since we got there. The hosted asked the server if she can pick up a table and her look said it all not happy. I have been a loyal customer of this restaurant for 10 years in both orange and Pinellas county. This by far has been the worst experience my family and I have ever had. We came in around 1:20pm for brunch and was seated not long after. There were not many customers there at this point so the waitress took our drink and food orders pretty fast. Unfortunately i did not get her name but her service wasn't the best. Upon the receiving our food, two orders came to us incomplete (eggs, home fries, and bacon) and took about another 15-20 to come out. In the meantime, I noticed my food was extremely cold and then found the other orders were quite cold too. I had the banana nut caramel French toast with eggs, bacon and homefries- all completely cold. My son couldn't enjoy his burger because it was extremely cold as well and just not good at all. The other members of my family were not satisfied with the quality of their food either but were hungry and just silently ate. After another 5 mins or so, I noticed our waitress was nowhere to be found and seemed to not be coming back to check on us anytime soon so I had to find assistance from another waitress standing nearby. I went ahead and told her was the issues hoping she would relay it back to our waitress. It took another 5-7 min for her to come back to our table. She gave my husband his hot eggs and homefries, yet another side order was missing. I restated our issue and she said "sorry about that". She then came back with a check said two of our meals were being comped and I thanked her. But she never said that my food wasn't being remade as I requested. My husband had to get up and go ask her if my food was being remade and all she said was "oh ok" as if she wasn't aware. A few minutes later, the "manager" came by and said the kitchen was closed so bthe food couldn't be remade then gave a very haphazard apology stating "people make mistakes" with a shrug of the shoulders. He could CLEARLY care less that we didn't receive our meal. I gave feedback on how we had been there for over an hour and was not happy at all to hear I couldn't get my food. And I also stated that though he "apologized", his tone and demeanor came off very insincere. It was clear to me he wasn't in the mood to make things right. I didn't ask for our meals to be free, I wanted my meal and I was very disappointed that the lack of service we received resulted in no quality food at all. At least a gift card for another meal would have sufficed as I do enjoy the food, but that clearly wasn't an option! Instead the so called franchisee was EXTREMELY RUDE AND ARGUED WITH ME! And in front of other customers! I'm appalled! He was super combative and condescending and for no reason at all. Because though I was firm with my feedback (duh I'm unhappy) I was not rude or nasty toward him UNTIL he started to insult me! I will NOT be returning! read more

Wife and I had breakfast 4/23 and it was excellent. We raved to everyone about it. We tried them again today 5/2, this time not so much. The American Fry's were under cooked and a bit to aldente, eggs were ok. Wife's Portobello Mushroom was much to her liking but again her potatoes were under cooked. I have also recommended this place to many people so I was very surprised when I had the worst customer service I have ever experienced. I went with my friend and the place was not busy. We sat down and we were greeted after waiting a few minutes by a new training server who brought our drinks. Our actual server walked by after 5 minutes of waiting and said she would be right with us. We waited 15 minutes until we ended up just asking another server if they could take our order because at least 5 servers were just standing around and there were only 4 tables. After we asked for another server (Zach) to take our order. Our actual server (Sarah) who never told us her name decided to talk bad about us while we were sitting less than 5 feet away from her and her coworkers. She stated we waited barely 5 minutes and we have our drinks so we can continue to wait. I finished my coffee before we got our order taken after 20 minutes. They then changed our server over to Zach and Sarah continued to talk about me and my friend in a very rude manner. After we finished eating we asked to speak to the manager who never told us her name she continued to apologize and say that it is not how we treat people here we are like family. She then offered us a to-go coffee that we had already paid for and a to-go bag for our food. No discount was offered and she proceeded to ask us to come back in the future. She then went over to her group of other coworkers and continued to talk about us saying we have our drinks and we can wait and that we've only been there for barely five minutes. At this point it was about 25 minutes that we've been sitting there. We were handed off to the server that took our order (Zach) and as we sat there we watched Sarah, who was supposed to be our server, follow the host to sit another table and she proceeded to take their drink and food order right away. At the end of our meal we asked to talk to the manger about our service. The manager, who did not tell us her name, apologized and offered us a to go coffee which we already paid for, and a bag for my to go food.
