We were sat directly in front of the restroom, we (party of six) requested to relocate for obvious reasons and the server happily accommodated us. The french toast (create your own combo) has been my favorite so far, perfect portion and they have plenty of options to make your french toast and order just how you like. Food was good, hot chocolate was perfect, little to no wait if you go early. A cool, inexpensive breakfast spot for the Riverview area. Only complaint is that the floors every time I've been are super slippery. So be careful walking on those floors. We mentioned to the manager that the floors are pretty slippery and that while eating we witnessed employees and customers slip. We have been wanting to visit KeKe's for a long time but when we tried to go there was always a huge line out the door and down the sidewalk. Yesterday we finally got to try it on a Thursday at 11am for my boyfriends birthday brunch and only had to wait 20 minutes. My boyfriend got the 3 meat omelet with cheese which was honestly the best omelet I have ever tasted! The toast was cooked perfect and so nice and buttery! I got the club sandwich which was amazing but had 2 separate layers of tomato which was a little much so I just removed one layer. Fries were hot and fresh! Granddaughter got the delicious grilled cheese which she loved. Sweet tea was some of the best at a restaurant I have ever had. Service was fabulous, fast and friendly. First time here and we loved it. Hearty, shareable portions. Eggs, bacon, pancakes, fajita omelet all cooked to perfection-and DELICIOUS!! The pancake was HUGE, as big as the plate, and had nice crispy edges. Our server, Derek, was attentive and didn't come by too much or too little - Just right. 3/9/2024 I took my wife here on our wedding anniversary for breakfast and we both got horrible food poisoning. I've been here before with no problems, but the service and attention to detail have taken a severe decline apparently. I called a day later to notify them, and I spoke to a manager who sounded like a little kid and he didn't even ask what food I ate that caused me to get sick. *Riverview Location* This Is a excellent place for a delicious breakfast! It's open for breakfast and lunch. I've only had breakfast so far. We have been to the Carrollwood location and are happy that they opened one in Riverview! The breakfast is always cooked perfectly and the service is on point. We had the pleasure of having a excellent waitress named Caitlin. I would definitely request Caitlin when we return. The home fries are delicious and I always order mine crispy or well done! The restaurant can get busy and there may be a wait but it's definitely worth waiting. They have plenty of benches for you to sit on while waiting. I literally just moved to the area and wanted a nice place for quick breakfast. This is an amazing place to come and eat. Either you're coming with a group, on a date or just yourself it's perfect. I had blueberry pancakes with a side of sausage and it tasted delicious. The BLT my mom ordered was amazing also. Usually, many restaurants tend to overpower a BLT and then its not a BLT anymore. But, here at Keke's everything is different. The bathroom is extremely clean and funny enough there's never soap on the floor. My friend and I had a really great breakfast/lunch here. The hostess was friendly and escorted us to our table as soon as we walked in. We were near the kitchen, but it wasn't a problem. We could converse and hear each other fine, even though there were patrons all around us and a rush to get things cleaned up for closing in an hour. Our waitress was super nice and was a hero with refilling our water. Three other people we didn't know came by and topped them off as well! I felt like as soon as we ordered, we had our food. My friend got a sandwich with double pepper jack cheese and bacon, and holy crap. It was delicious! The fries that came with it were crispy and satisfying. When I go to Keke's, I ALWAYS get the chocolate chip pancakes. But today, I finally decided to be bold... and order the chocolate chip waffle. I have to say, it's not quite as good as the pancakes, or as filling, but it was still tasty. I'm glad I made it a combo with bacon and eggs, because I would definitely have still been hungry with just the one waffle! If I ever get one again, I learned I'll have to ask them to make it a little crispier. The very edge was crispy, but the waffle was missing a satisfying crunch. The most striking thing about this Keke's is how much outdoor seating they have! Not for eating, mind you, but for waiting! Keke's is notorious for its long wait times and lack of seats to hold the hungry beasts. This one is ahead of the game with at least ten benches outside. They're even covered, so at least you don't have to starve and get a sunburn. :) read more

I'll start with great service, goes downhill from there. I ordered a bacon cheeseburger, the server informed me that they were out of buns so substituted what seemed to be stale sourdough. The burger was completely tasteless and cost 14.99 which doesn't include fries which are an up charge. My husband ordered a chicken panini which turned out to be a chicken sandwich on grilled bread. The Diet Coke was flat. Maybe it's just the Riverview location but would not recommend. Try the Scrambled Egg in Fish Hawk instead. read more

So happy this place popped up in our area. We had one back in Orlando and loved it. As soon as we saw new one here in tampa area we knew it was the spot to be. Absolutely the worst experience. We ordered take out and was told it would be a 15 min wait. After 20 mins we asked where our food was and was told they didn't know but are backed up. Then we started excuses like they are backed up because of Uber. One excuse was they didn't know they didn't know it would be busy. It's Veterans Day and people are off so I'm not buying it. After waiting close to an hour the manager started making more excuses that things were not ready yet and she didn't know when it would be. We asked for a refund and then suddenly our food was ready! I was really hoping for more with this restaurant. The service was good & the food was....okay. I ordered a southwest omelette & wanted it scrambled instead. When I received it, it was an omelette. Flavor was okay (needed lots of salt /pep & hot sauce), the "petal" sauce on the side was weird, & my toast was stale & cold. The best part was the home fries. My fiance ordered a chocolate chip pancake, which surprisingly wasn't sweet & was kind of bland. Her scrambled eggs were just a flat layer of eggs with cheese on top. The waitress said they don't technically "scramble" the eggs, they cook them flat. Those were her exact words!!! What's the harm in cooking fluffy scrambled eggs?? I guess everywhere is different but idk why they advertise the eggs as scrambled when they are not. It's being picky but we're paying for a service. I doubt I'd come back here. The husband and I came to this lovely restaurant for some brunch and holy cow. It was so yummy! He went with the "build your own omelette " and put a ton of veggies and protein in it and I had a cheese steak sandwich on ciabatta panini pressed with sweet potato fries. It was certainly filling and we will come back. Their menu has a wide variety of food to satisfy everyone. They have STUFFED french toast!!! Don't go here within two hours of closing, you will be sadly disappointed. This was one of my top breakfast spots until now. We went on a Sunday, May 19, 2024, noon, they close at 230pm. Three female employees at the register - one was filing her nails, one calling out a customer. The other leaning against the register table - none addressed us but kept speaking to each other about what they're going to do after work. My family and I tried to get seated but they refused to stop their conversation, holding their hand up like a stop sign. It was not busy. I asked for a manager but they said, "she's too busy to come out here". I persisted and the manager came out (petite female, dark hair). The manager did not make the situation better. She essentially said what do you want me to do. I addressed the employees and she advised it was hard enough to get them to show for work. Needless to say we left. Very disappointing. It goes to show that the chef can be fantastic (always has been) but that greeter /seater staff can run your customers away. I'm confident these greeters want to be compensated as well as they wait staff but clearly they are not in the right job. read more

I ordered Grits and eggs with pancakes. Very simple. My grits were super watery and under cooked and my pancakes cold. My husband had a little of a lot and his potatoes were cold. He asked for Katchup twice and never got it. This is a busy establishment and their was a line of people waiting to eat and one whole empty row of seating inside. Regardless of the reasoning , it doesn't feel great to see that as a customer who waited 30 mins to eat then was seated at a dirty table that was cleaned after we were seated. Then had to wait 20 mins just to pay. All around they dropped the ball and I will not visit again.
