Even though we normally go for breakfast (which is always great), I can't leave without ordering the Turkey Pot Pie soup to-go!

This was my third visit to Kelly O's, and just like the visits that preceded today, the food was exceptional, cooked to perfection and served shortly after ordering. My waitress, Alyssa, is wonderful - she has an engaging personality, obviously loves being among people, and hustles to make sure everything is done right. I cannot recommend Kelly O's higher. read more

Stopped in on a weekday morning and things here were humming along. Plenty of seating with an outdoor patio option for those interested too. Our waitress was friendly and came by frequently to check on us and top off our waters. I got the Pittsburgh Eggs Benedict which came with the classic hollandaise sauce and two poached eggs over fried onions, kielbasa, and pierogis with a side of potatoes. Food came out very quickly and tasted great! My wife did a build-your-own breakfast option with French toast, eggs and bacon and she said was pretty good too. I have been here on a few occasions for breakfast. The inside has a diner feel as I would expect based on the name. There is plenty of seating options - booth, table, and a sit up counter. I have taken my infant there both times and they strategically placed us in appropriate locations to accommodate a car seat which I really appreciated. The staff was quick to come over and grab drink orders. For food, I have had The Grill which is potatoes, eggs, peppers and onions mixed together. During another visit, I had The Western Omelet with whole wheat toast. Both dishes were pretty good, a little on the pricy side. Service was great as we were checked on frequently and everyone was personable. We will be back- decent food, good service, great location for us to grab a quick breakfast/lunch. read more

Place packs the folks in that's for sure. I used to go to Kelly O's down in Perrysville when I worked in that area. This location took over for the former Bakn spot. When we arrived there was quite a line and nobody to put a name in with. So you stand there. The temperature was 10 outside so thankfully the entryway between the double doors had a heater. The line moved very quickly. They seem to get you in and out fast. The food was on par with the other location. Decent breakfast food, fast. The two downsides of our breakfast. Half of the shredded potatoes I ordered were mushy and the consistency of mashed potatoes. My wife ordered crisp bacon with her meal, only one of the three pieces was crispy. The other two were gummy. Other than that, I enjoyed my meal. Nice to have another breakfast spot locally. read more

Never heard of the place as we aren't local, but went there after yelping a place for breakfast it was packed! Line out the door! Kudos to the staff for turning tables as fast as they did! Food was good, service was excellent. But being packed it was loud. read more

This was my second trip here and I'm hesitant to go back. Food options are fairly decent and I love the biscuits and gravy but I have a serious issue giving my hard earned income to establishments that don't handle or condone rude staff. On my last visit 5-25-25 there were about 5 individuals standing in line inside the doorway area. We were all told to move (not asked politely) by a staff member and as directed we all moved the line outside the door. 5 minutes later the line grew rapidly into the parking lot when another hostess (tattooed neck and only saying this for a description so management can address her as I have tattoos too) rudely came to the door cussing everyone out and calling us dumb ***ks for standing into the parking lot and angrily directed the ones in the pot to wrap the line around the wall. Since I was next in line I walked in the lobby area and she was continuously going on cussing and calling them names. It was very unprofessional and the use of words like MF shouldn't be said not heard by chanters. It's not that language bothers me but you're an employee and you represent the place you work at. Now do I go back and just forgot this place and hit up DeLucas a few blocks over? I hate to punish a business for a single employee but it's not like several individuals and other employees couldn't see or hear her. I'll have to weigh this one out. Onto the food side everything was good and my waitress was pleasant and service was slightly above average. I really dig their countries fried steak and the gravy is delicious. read more

Great addition to Wexford! We have eaten here twice since they opened and both times there was a line out of the door , but I think we only waited 15 min max for a table . Servers both times were prompt and friendly and our food came quickly . Everything was hot and fresh . My only complaint is I ordered the breakfast sandwich and asked for the egg to be over hard and the yolk was slightly runny which I detest . Kielbasa was really good as was the haluski. Second visit I had the chicken BLT with fries and hubby had the Philly steak omelet. We both loved our meals . My husband absolutely loved breakfast and would eat here every week if I was willing to go out for breakfast . Restaurant is cute inside and clean. Would definitely recommend. read more

My favorite new local breakfast place that I can actually walk to. Breakfast is my favorite meal of the day. I have stopped in a couple of times and got seated quickly. It's typically busy when I walk in which is a sign of how much the neighborhood likes the food and drink. I have enjoyed the seasonal pumpkin pancakes, omelettes, cappuccino and fresh squeezed orange juice. I appreciate the food comes out hot and I can see the steam. Like their sister locations, it's a must to stop in if you are nearby. read more

A Pittsburgh Staple and Must Try! We ordered takeout on a Sunday morning for breakfast. The ordering process is only through phone but it was quick and easy. Our food was brought out and given to us. The food was great even after cooling down. The shredded potatoes are a must try. Their eggs Benedict were pretty good. Their waffles and pancakes were also a great choice. Food was hot and fresh. Good flavor. Home "fries" were a bit over done to my personal taste. Not a fan of the extra crispy/burnt dried taste. But some people are. Eggs Benedict had plenty of hollandaise sauce which I appreciated. The chai tea latte was very very sweet. But you can add your own sugar to the regular lattes. Service was quick, efficient and attentive. It was nice to hear the servers greet the regulars by name. Plenty of lightening to see the menus clearly and good ambiance for a busy diner. read more

Good breakfast that reminds me of home (Texas Country) except for the bacon - which is good - just can't compare to the way momma cooked it.

I eat here a lot and they have pretty good (a little expensive, but not unreasonably so) and great fast service. It does sometimes get crowded as there is really no waiting area, so on cold days it can be a tight fit waiting for a table. But especially closer to closing (which is an early 2pm) its usually easy to find a spot. I especially like their biscuits and gravy. Unfortunately, the company went into penny pinching mode recently and is now charging a 3.5% credit card surcharge, rather than just raise prices to reflect their increased cost to do business. It's silly because it takes the waitress a lot more time to handle cash and make exact change than just process a credit card. Hopefully they will realize that the _cost_ of credit card processing is for both CUSTOMER and BUSINESS convenience.... read more

We used to live in The Strip and used to frequent the location there. This is the first time we've visited the Warrendale location. It's clean and the food is on par with the location in The Strip. I usually get the Seana's Favorite and that's what I opted for this time. My husband got the Corned Beef Hash and Eggs. He enjoyed his meal as well. This location is slightly smaller than the location in The Strip. The entrance way is a bit congested and while we didn't experience a large crowd, I can see there being a bit of a mess if there were lots of people waiting for a table. The staff was attentive and we didn't have any issues getting coffee refills. We would definitely visit here again as Kelly O's has some of the best pancakes in the Pittsburgh area. read more

The best breakfast in the area. The bacon is delicious. The eggs are great and I go there quite often. Never had a bad meal!

Arrived on a Sunday morning, decent crowd before 9am but no wait. Super clean, cute diner vibe and very friendly service. Our server was efficient and welcoming! Well-rounded selection on the menu with great choices for breakfast, brunch and lunch. The Benedicts are super yummy and you can't go wrong with choosing to get your eggs basted! Another amazing experience! We attempted to get in near 11am on New Years Eve 'day'. After procuring a seat at the counter, we were immersed in service with drinks/menus etc To say the food is great doesn't quite convey all the amazing subtlety's they're able to put into their food. We jokingly questioned whether they put heroin or crack dust into the diced bacon & sautéed mushroom mix. Simply unctuous food. Rich, beautiful flavors. The homemade (by somebody?) bread was also sublime. Lastly, their potatoes reminded me of another famous breakfast haunt down in the strip district, but KellyO's are BETTER--fresher tasting, loaded with rich, buttery flavor. It's your average diner place. As long as you know it going in and have your expectations in line, it gets the job done. You enter and there's a less than friendly warning about following the rules, standing in line, etc. I always go in the late morning, so I haven't experienced a line. But I always wonder what happens in frigid conditions considering they don't have adequate waiting area. Portion sizes are big, but food is not something to go over the moon for. Food is a bit on the greasy side for my taste. Coffee is horrible, even for a diner. I often give Kelly O's a pass because of the coffee. Thankfully, they have an espresso machine, and have FRESH orange juice (which is a winner!). The pricing on an Americano is interesting. Espresso shot $1.09. Americano (1 espresso shot + hot water) = 3.09. So, to add hot water to one espresso shot costs $2 (because now it's an Americano!) New signs show that they'll charge 3.5% to credit card users... to keep prices competitive. I'd rather they say that small business are struggling with increased prices and they have to raise theirs. Fine, use cash! Except they add the credit card fee to the base charges before you even try to pay with cash (see invoice picture). They have reasonably quick service, wait staff is friendly enough. I go every now and then as there is a dearth of breakfast places in the region and it's always pretty consistent. I'd love for it to be more and for me to be there all the time, but it is what it is. Probably gonna put this place on pause for six months or so and look in again later. read more

Went to Kelly O's with a friend yesterday, Saturday at 1:00. I was afraid there would be a wait, but there were plenty of available tables. Our sever was lovely...polite, cheerful and efficient. The diner was cute and very clean...still had that "new" feeling. I had a mushroom and cheese omelet with an English muffin and fruit. Omelet was delicious, muffin well toasted. The fruit did not taste very fresh. I ordered hot tea and the water wasn't hot enough for my taste. My friend had a turkey and bacon club...she liked the turkey, said the bacon tasted like ham and the sw came without mayonnaise. She asked for extra pickles and the server brought them cheerfully. Service was unbelievably quick and the prices reasonable. A few issues, but generally very happy with the place and I would go back for sure. Gave the server a nice tip! read more
