I just got back from four days on Cape Cod and as usual, I made my annual pilgrimage to the Keltic kitchen. As always, the their service was fast and friendly the food was delicious and the price was reasonable. I thoroughly enjoyed my breakfast as my wife was not there to call me a fat fat man.
Homey and dated in the most comforting way, Keltic Kitchen was the perfect breakfast spot on a gloomy November morning. The potato-laden menu brought out the Irishman in me, with my choice ultimately being the Bacon, Apple and Cheddar Potato pancakes. Crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, they were packed with enough chunks of apple and bacon to make this a rib-sticking meal. On the side, I sampled the Irish Bachelor Baked Beans, which were tried and true, just as I hoped. For a sweet bite the end the meal, my mom and I tried the Stuffed Scone which was, to my delight, basically strawberry shortcake by a different name. If I lived here, I'd be a regular!
Came here on a Saturday at 8 AM and walked right in! no wait! By the time we left around 9:30 AM, there was already a 40-minute wait. Always a good sign when a place is this busy during the off-season! The space is small but bright and airy with tons of natural light, perfect for a cozy breakfast spot. The potato pancakes were chef's kiss and the smoked salmon was fresh, flavorful, and had just the right amount of smokiness. The only miss for me was the fig-apple-Brie French toast. The flavors didn't quite come together, but honestly, with so many other tempting things on the menu, I'm not mad about having an excuse to come back. Pro tip: Get here early if you don't want to wait, clearly, the locals know what's up!
Our first time visiting the Keltic Kitchen & we will definitely be back. It is by far our FAVORITE breakfast spot on the cape. The staff was super friendly, attentive & helpful. The ambiance was awesome, very pub like, clearly supporting First responders patches were displayed on the walls from all over. The food was amazing. Let's start with the bacon, it was excellent, thick cut, perfectly cooked and packed with flavor. The eggs, pancakes, omelettes & potato pancakes were out of this world! The coffee was a perfect blend of smooth & boldness. After breakfast we visited their gift shop. So many treasures to choose from! Our whole family was impressed with the entire experience.
6/8/25 Keltic kitchen is my favorite place to dine whenever I am staying on Cape Cod. On this visit I ordered my usual Lemon, blueberry ricotta pancakes which are absolutely outstanding! Not a huge fan of blueberries, but it's okay. The pancakes were good, generous portions. Love that the ingredients are imported from Ireland. Special thanks to our server Paula, whom was an absolute delight. Ask for her if you stop by. We enjoyed the Nutty Irish French Toast which is, thick cut slices of Portuguese sweet bread, dipped in a batter of Irish cream, Amaretto, egg, cream, drizzled with an Amaretto Irish Cream Caramel sauce. It's a very busy restaurant, casual dining, that serves breakfast and lunch. Ask to check out the Irish history and memorabilia side of the restaurant, it's really cool to see the great history of Ireland.
Found this awesome restaurant on Yelp and it did not disappoint. Amazing food and generous portions. I had the potato pancake with smoked salmon Benny and we tried the venison sausage made with Merlot and blueberries. Wasn't sure what to expect but it was good! My husband had the Irish sausage (our fave!) and the rashers. Yummmm! Service was quick and friendly. Loved the genuine Irish hospitality and warm lodge-like decor. Will definitely return and highly recommend!
Great Irish restaurant, ambience coupled with authentic wait staff experience! Disappointed that they did not have a couple of the special wild game sausages or duck eggs to sample. I do like the variety and creativity of the menu. Not something you normally see anywhere but especially Cape Cod. Location is right off the road and very convenient with plenty of parking. The wait staff is very friendly and knowledgeable as well as attentive. While the menu does offer a lot of interesting varieties, I'm not sure if they all work well in reality. The wild boar sausage was a little dry and not much flavor. Perhaps, it could've used some more spices or sauce to liven it up? The seafood Benny just seemed to have a lot of filler and was kind of bland without much of a seafood taste, although I could detect chunks of small scallops. I had the hollandaise sauce on the side so I know that didn't mask flavor, but it was the strong texture of the muffins that stood out more so than the seafood. However, the two poached eggs were very good. Similarly, the potato pancakes sounded promising, but fell short and didn't taste crispy enough, but was more soft and less of a potato flavor. The sour cream and chives on the side definitely did help. Perhaps, more so would have helped and flavor. I had high hopes for the wild game sausage, however, the regular extra side of pork sausages tasted much better. They did not seem like the typical frozen variety that you normally get at most breakfast restaurants and tasted very good. Definitely much better than the wild boar. I think the high ratings of this restaurant in the past was likely due to the variety of unique menu items, especially the duck eggs and wild game options, but unfortunately, they did not have the duck eggs available on my visit. The service was certainly well above average ! But, in the end, I need to find great tasting food as my ultimate draw.
What a gem Irish breakfast establishment on the Cape. Having had breakfast at this place many many times, the level of comfort and satisfaction every time is just a great experience. The food is great, authentic, service is very friendly, and provides for a nice Irish atmosphere. Be advised, it gets very busy here. Be prepared to wait. Other than that, a must try.
Every time we are on the cape we come here for breakfast. It gets crowded early so be prepared to wait. We got there at about 8:40 and were seated right away. But shortly afterwards there was a waiting line. My wife and I split the breakfast sandwich which is basically an omelette on an English muffin. To get by the splitting order charge we ordered a side of sausage. Even splitting this meal there were leftovers. Always great food at this place.
This is one of the best breakfasts on the Cape. I'm fortunate that Keltic Kitchen is just a few minutes from my family's timeshare property. We come at least once during our normal Cape week - if not 2 or 3 times! There is a huge variety of food - everything from pancakes, french toast, and omelets to lunch sandwiches and Irish staples. I usually go for a ham and cheese omelet - it's large and I can never finish it! There's usually a wait in the summertime, but they text you when your table is ready. I've found that the estimates are accurate - or sometimes you even get in earlier. Make sure you stay close-by. Around the back, they also have a Celtic shop with goods from Ireland (sweaters, hats, snacks, tchotchkes, etc.).
Came up to the Cape for a couple of days off season ... And you know a restaurant is good when you have a little bit of a wait during off season. .. And let me tell you it was worth the wait. I ordered their famous corned beef hash along with my son and his friend ordered chocolate chip pancakes. I have celiacs disease so my famous corned beef hash platter was two eggs over medium came with the famous corned beef hash.... I couldn't have toast or the hash browns due to gluten.. But they substituted those out and I had baked beans with a tomato base which were absolutely delicious.. The corned beef I can see why they say it's famous. It is amazing. They also put peppers and onions in it. My son got the unaltered version of it which came with the home fries and toast which he just absolutely loved I think and his friend got chocolate chip pancakes which were a great value for how many you got via price. Of course we had extra bacon to go around which were nice. Thickly cut slabs of bacon Definitely would be coming back to this place whenever I come back into the area.

Ordered the Keltic Hash and Lobstermac Scramble, and knew we made the right choice when it arrived. The lobstermac was FULL of lobster and a very generous portion. Food arrived quickly and the entire staff was attentive and friendly. We can't wait to return. Already planing our next visit! read more

Ok, I originally posted this as a 4 star review but after seeing our check I decided this place is worthy of 5 stars. Overall a great meal for Breakfast/Brunch, VERY reasonably priced, and great service. Keltic Benny: a corn beef and hash eggs Benedict that my husband raved about. The best corned beef and hash he's had. French Toast: I made a little a la carte french toast sampler at the request of our server and it was overall very good but didn't blow me away. The cinnamon french toast was surprisingly my favorite of the bunch. Portuguese sweet bread french toast is very good but nothing special. And the creme brulee french toast tasted more strongly of orange than creme brulee to me, but it was still very good. Rashers: imported Irish bacon, authentic and delicious. Also the hot chocolate was randomly very good and I would totally recommend getting one. read more

Amazing food, wonderful service, casual and friendly vibe. Keltic Benny was delicious and a very generous portion. My husband had the Keltic Breakfast Sandwich and it did not disappoint. We both agree that we'll be back to Keltic Kitchen for more. Can't wait to bring our teenaged kids! read more

Great tasting food. Super friendly and efficient staff. Nice Brunch atmosphere. Very clean. A+. Possibly the best breakfast and/or Brunch I've had. Certainly in our top 10. The Seafood Benedict was flawless. Huge and plentiful portion and fresh tasting seafood. The Hickory, Apple, and Cheddar potato pancakes were great too. I would return and I highly recommend! We didn't wait for a table, but it would be worth the wait. read more

This was a really cool spot for breakfast and lunch! Lots of interesting options to choose from. Really delicious too! The atmosphere was cool but busy & loud because it is a popular spot. Caught it at a good time and got seated fairly quickly. Would recommend, very delicious! read more

I want to see something I can get no where else. The way only you make it. This unique menu rocks. We were on the cape for vacation, and hitting a couple of my bookmarks. Best piece of advice... If you had known about this sooner, you would have been back for another visit. This place is super busy. They do not take reservations, or use the NoWait app. They will not seat you if everyone is not present. You will be counted. They had seating outside for those waiting to be called. It was raining, and it was covered. The hostess has menu knowledge, and can answer questions. Often, most waiting regulars can also. Sand art sculptures keep changing bi-weekly out front. A large covered deck with extending awnings protect the outdoor diners. We took a seat at the counter to watch the show. This staff is seasoned professionals. The grill cooks made no wasted move that did not have a purpose. The servers were communicating and helping each other like a team. No lie, the only fluidity missing would have been tossing items back & forth amongst each other. But coffee and toast are rarely thrown. *NOTE the chairs at the counter are thickly padded(see pic). All other house seats are not. What the heck is a rasher? I googled it. Simply put, it's going to be like a fried ham slice. Sitting at the counter affords you the opportunity to visualize the menu as it comes out of the kitchen window. We were so mesmerized by the beauty, that we did not register the size. It's not until your plate is set down in front of you, that you reflect on everyone walking out with a carryout box in their hand. We ordered a Nutty Irishman, and an eggs, meat, potato cakes meal. The descriptions are on the menu, but should include review snip-its. "HUGE" "DELICIOUS" "SAVORY" There's so many smiles around the restaurant. Happy diners with superior food. Of course we could not finish our meals. A great price for the seasonal Cape tourist. I found the restaurant clean and well adorned with tasteful decor. A display of many police/fire/rescue patches from around the world. Of course they also give a military discount. They also verbally expressed their gratitude for my service. The restroom was a bit odd. Perhaps there is a handicap restroom somewhere else, but the one I was in, seemed close to porta potty size. Clean but small. Next visit to the Cape will include an early and later visit back here. XP read more

This is hands down the best breakfast place I have ever been to. The portions are huge, and they certainly don't compromise on the quality. The omelettes are perfectly cooked, with an even distribution of filling with every bite (loaded with filling I might add.) The hashbrowns are well seasoned and cooked well. But my favorite thing there is the Irish French Toast. You get three HUGE pieces of thickly cut French Toast, the bread is so fluffy and every bite is heaven. I would reccommend going during an off month (avoiding the summer rush) just for improved service but either way, GET BREAKFAST HERE. I have driven over an hour to eat breakfast here and I would do it again. read more

So good! I had the keltic benny and BF had the potato cake salmon Benny. I loved the corned hash as it was shredded. BF enjoyed the potato cakes, which were like hash brown Patties. The home fries were perfectly roasted. The menu is huge, as are the servings. We would go back. read more

My friend recommended this restaurant to us and it did not disappoint. We arrived at 11am on a Tuesday and there was still a 30 min wait! My newborn and toddler were both sleeping in the car and the man at the front desk told me that when a table was available, he'd walk to our car and let us know. Man, talk about wonderful service. Now the food - the menu is expansive and portions are ginormous. We wanted to order everything! My husband selected the corn beef hash (what they're known for) and loved it. I got the 2x4 - 2 eggs, 2 bacon strips, 2 Irish sausages, 2 chocolate chip pancakes. I thought the pancakes would be dime sized but nope, they were the size of my face and totally overloaded with chocolate chips. The chocolate lover in me was so happy. Irish sausages taste a tad bit spicier than normal sausages. We shared a side of rashers. This set of three tasted like a meatier, fatter slice of bacon. Our waitress was amazing! Although there appeared to only be two waitresses working in a fully packed restaurant, our waitress never rushed us, gave us attitude, etc. She always refilled our water in a timely manner and had a smile on her face! read more

I really wanted to try this place so we made the effort to make this one of our last stops for our weekend trip to the cape last month. The wait to get seated as well as the wait for the food were well worth it and we were definitely not disappointed. You cannot come here and not try the corned beef hash - perfectly crispy and flavorful. These are big portions of hearty breakfast food so I was surprised that I was able to only have a little bit left on my plate when I decided I was done... I guess it was that good! Seriously, this a must visit if you're in this area of the cape. read more

We both had eggs, hash, bacon, home fries, toast. It was awesome and the portion was soooooo worth $12. I couldn't eat it all and I usually do. Great Irish ambiance. 5 stars. No problems to report. We'll be back again! read more

Went for breakfast on a busy Wednesday morning. The menu was large with plenty of daily specials to choose from. Despite the restaurant being busy, we received our food in a timely manner, and the food was delicious. I had the Keltic Benny and he, the Keltic Scramble. The service was also great. Outdoor seating area was perfect - very comfortable and charming atmosphere! Definitely recommend. read more
