Design-wise, the trailers are well thought out, the ergonomics are smart, the suspension works, etc. My problem is with the QC, the company's treatment of customers, and their business choices. Especially with the price you're paying for. I was grateful that I was given an American unit after purchasing a "Go!" series variant (Mexican made, same source materials), since they had a supply chain issue last summer and gave me the more expensive American one at no extra cost. They had called me before it shipped and let me know. Cool! But for trailers, they're still pricy, and I was searching for the best I could get since previously I had a horrible experience with the garbage that was "The Ace" from TheUSATrailerStore. A few grand is nothing to sneeze at. I expected quality and craftsmanship. No matter how well designed the Single Ride-Up is on paper, none of it matters if you don't make it well or even correctly. I owned it for less than 9 months and had major issues with how they powder-coated the steel. Since it was not prepped correctly, it was peeling off like banana strips in multiple places and rusting from underneath, even before the paint came off. This wasn't just about spots obviously hit by a small rock or something. Also, virtually all the "inside" surfaces of the body had NO PAINT! Raw iron! It was RUSTING like crazy from the inside despite always being cleaned and stored in a clean, dry indoor garage most of the time. It was not physically possible to reach all the way through a 7-9 foot long tube that was like 3-5 inches wide. It would've meant a full disassembly of the thing, stripping all the paint, and getting it properly dipped and painted at a local shop. A few extra $$$ by the way ($1000+) if I went through with that, for something that is supposed to be the most quality trailers you can get in the US. Also, the front wheel chock's wide V-shaped cradle that hugs behind the front wheel when used, and the rails, had terrible tolerances, and the chock would rub metal to metal, ripping off paint, and there was no way I could fix it besides sanding, recoating, and then protecting the contact point with fabric. I spoke to multiple decent body shops in Colorado and Florida, showing them the trailer, and they were bewildered by the paint job. That was revealing too... Their manufacturing quality (or lack of) had already sealed the fate for rust before I could do anything to handle it and/or fix it. So so so disappointing and a huge waste of my time, before and after I had contacted their team to help me. I was given such an unprofessional attitude from the repair person on the phone, I thought it was a loser employee. But I learned I was talking to the owner! I talked with him as much as I could for help/options, but I was basically told I was on my own and too bad. I had never done anything stupid with the trailer, like having it damp with water for a long time or driving through mud, etc, I'm not an idiot and would've known if I caused something. I warn everyone to very carefully explore their warranty! Read it, know what you're getting into. Even if you get a defective unit upon arrival, it's on YOUR DIME TO SEND IT BACK! I don't care if other people have good experiences; the fact that this even happened to me at all makes them an untrustworthy business, and they won't get any of my money ever again. The materials feel of quality, but their labor is poor, and keeping up with the condition of a unit is a runaway train. I needed a trailer I could trust the motorcycle I loved so much with, and this was just a headache. If you're using steel, it must be handled right, or what's the point? Side note: The brake lights that came with it failed within the first 2 weeks of owning, so I swapped them out for a nice set from Autozone/O Reilly's. The majority of the wiring was left alone, and the new lights worked well, so it wasn't about getting cut somewhere along the length, etc. read more

I damaged one of the caster wheel mounting brackets on the Kendon trailer when I was backing the trailer into a driveway. I wanted to update this review as I finally received the retrofit piece I ordered. I must have gotten someone's attention because I received a call that told me it was going out the next day, and it did. The following day, the two packages arrived via UPS. It took me right around two hours to unpack and check all of the parts and put it all together. Once completed, I rode right up the ramp with no problems as opposed to the single ramp it had before. I wouldn't do business with them again. It's been about a year now and I still have yet to receive my title or license plate for the trailer I purchased. I call and email and get the runaround frequently. They make me wait days between emails with no answer. The trailer itself isn't holding up well at all. It's only a year old and it's starting to give me issues already. Loose bolts and screws. I would go somewhere else for your trailering needs. read more

I purchased a Dirt Bike/Combo Trailer, which is great. I use it all the time and have driven up and down the eastern side of the US. One issue I see one year later is in a non-wear section the power coat has flaked off and it is starting to rust. Otherwise, its damn good. I also purchased a Sport Bike Lift (600lbs) at the same time. This did not arrive with the trailer. I called around 6 times and talked to support. I filled out the contact form several times but never did get the lift or a definitive answer that it would or wouldn't come. It looks like they don't sell them anymore. I did pay for it and a credit was never issued. What a bummer. That was expensive for a non-existent lift. When people ask me about the trailer - which is often - I tell them I like it but that the company didn't deliver the rest of the order and still charged me for it so I cannot recommend it. read more

Ordered a $200 cover for my trailer more than 3 weeks ago and still have not received it. I emailed after 2 weeks and they said they would "try" to get it out next week. I patiently waited even though I was worried about things rusting on my new trailer. I emailed again after 3 weeks and they sarcastically offered to refund my "free shipping" if I came to pick it up. What is so hard about shipping a cover? If it's backordered then just tell me and stop playing games. Super frustrating. Would definitely steer clear of this company. Near Catastrophic incident involving a 2022 Kendon Single Stand Up Trailer that broke apart, went into oncoming traffic and rolled down into he highway ditch. The owner, Randy Secola would not stand behind his product nor negotiate a shared amount for my out of pocket expenses. The trailer was faulty in the metal and or assembly by the their company. Overall we are very happy with our trailer. The staff at Kendon was great and were extremely helpful to get us everything we were looking for. The trailer had its maiden voyage from California to South Dakota for the Sturgis Rally. It had no problem holding both full size Harley's (over 2000lbs). We hardly noticed the bikes back there and had to double check our camera every now and then to make sure they were still there. Not to mention the storing feature where we can stand it up on end in the garage. It takes up minimal space so we can still park our car and motorcycles in the garage. read more

I spent over 5K on the Trike/Spyder trailer for my Spyder Rt. After months of excuses, the trailer arrived at my dealer. First it is extremely heavy and unless you are a Olympic weight lifter this will cause problems. Second, they kept saying the powder coat booth/machine was not operating, the powder coating is horrible. A few rock chips and rusted!!! There are 0 anchor points and 0 videos for this specific trailer and proper tie down. I purchased the cover and live in south Florida, the cover stuck to the trailer fenders and ripped off. I guess dont store in over 80 degrees!!!! The Spyder has about 2-4 inches at the rear, not safe, needs a gate or something to make you feel your bike is secure. I called and text and sent pics. The response was its all MY fault. NOT one response to my tie down and video question I asked about, NOPE only blah blah blah!! I would return this trailer today if I could. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND BUYING A ALUMA TRAILER NOT KENDON FOR CAN AM SPYDERS!!! I was very excited to unwrap my Kendon last week, which I ordered just before my trip to Death Valley and Grand Canyon so that I could bring my dual-sport motorcycle with me to do some off-road trails. The unwrapping was where the excitement ended. (1) When I unwrapped my Kendon, it looked used. There was rust everywhere, but mostly on the fenders. When I reached out to Kendon, Xavier (Customer Service rep, who has generally been fairly helpful), offered me two options (a) have them send me replacement fenders that would require me to disassemble the old fenders and wiring and reassemble everything again (pass) or (b) credit me $100. Although $100 isn't enough credit for a used trailer that I paid for new, I had no other option, so I accepted the $100 (mind you, that $100 still hasn't been credited). (2) After driving 477 miles to Pahrump, NV (just outside of Death Valley) from Sacramento, I discovered that the right tail light was busted on the trip down. I knew installing these lights earlier that they were cheaply made, so I paid special attention to installing them, and they still broke! Mind you, we arrived at our Airbnb at 7pm, so I was driving on the highway and in the dark with a broken tail light. Totally safe. (3) I informed Xavier about these issues and he promptly issued me a new tail light and said it would be shipped using overnight shipping. It was not. It was sent First Class and won't arrive until (maybe) Friday. Mind you, I notified Kendon about this issue on Monday AM. At this point, I've had to motorcycle to Death Valley and back (~100+ miles r/t) every day because I can't trailer my bike with the Kendon because it has a busted tail light. This was not my plan. I bought this Kendon, in part, so that I could bring it to the park, motorcycle off-road all-day, and when I was tired, I could trailer the bike back to the Airbnb in the comfort of my SUV. Instead, I'm forced to ride back another 1.5 hours on my motorcycle after an already long day of off-roading. When I realized earlier today that Kendon had shipped the tail light using regular mail, I gave up. I drove down to the local Walmart, found trailer lights, and installed them this afternoon. At least this way there is hope that I may actually be able to use this Kendon as I had intended. In short, I've spent ~$2.5K on a "new" trailer that turned out to be used and with second rate parts that couldn't even be relied on to make it down 500 miles on its maiden journey. I will never buy from Kendon again and I would recommend everyone here to look elsewhere. I purchased a Kendon standup trailer about four years ago. I had a wheel fly off the second time I used it going down the highway and going into oncoming traffic. I called the company and they basically told me it was my fault for not checking the torque setting on the bolts often enough. Well, I became obsessive about checking the torque setting on the bolts on the wheels at that point, but despite that two trips later, the other wheel flew off going down the highway in Oklahoma. I was stranded three days and charged an absurd amount for a replacement wheel over a weekend in the middle of nowhere I had to pay because I had no choice. I had to replace both fenders because the wheel damage of the fenders when they flew off as well as both tail lights because they were also damaged. Every time I call, they basically make me feel stupid and like it was my fault so I just stopped complaining about it. Just ordered my third fender and it said four business days for shipping. They did not advise me anywhere on the website that it would take them a whole week for someone in the warehouse put it in a box and then it's four days from that date. Since I was in the process of moving, the fender will arrive the exact day I leave and I will not be able to put it on and repair the tail lights and time. Called again and they're like oh so and that's about it. Highly recommend you avoid this company like the plague! read more

The product I bought (a double motorcycle trailer) is great, but the buying process (local delivery in southern California) was very disappointing. First, they didn't make it clear that the trailer came disassembled and involved uncrating and assembly. They were aware i lived only an hour away and could have just picked up an already-built trailer, rather than waste effort on the build. Second, they forgot to supply lights with the trailer which then required *another* order. Lastly, i ordered a tongue jack which did not come with the trailer, since it was on back order and then took *forever* to get to me. The fact that they send out a customer survey a full 6 months after the purchase also rubs me the wrong way. I just towed it on a 1300 mile round trip out of state with a 2018 VW GTI, and it was incredibly stable and easy for one person to move around, hitch up, and load. Great product. I called Kendon Industries about 2 weeks before Christmas 2016. I wanted to order a single motorcycle trailer as a gift. I was very surprised to find that they had exactly what I wanted so close to Christmas. I did not have any time to drive to Placentia to pick it up. Come to find, they will ship it direct even to a gated community. I ordered it on a Monday or Tuesday and it was in my garage within one week of placing the order. It was packaged excellently and there were no scratches, dings, etc. We were very pleased with it. But, we didn't get is registered right away and of course we lost the initial title to it. So, I called in AUGUST of 2017. I received a new title within 4 days. I would say the folks at Kendon are well organized and on top of their game. The Kendon single trailer is a beautiful looking trailer and light in weight. It works well as a trailer too. My reasons for a 2 star rating are: 1. Poor customer service with a defective brand new trailer. 2. The diamond plate is quite thin and easily bends just from the weight of my sport bike leaning on its side stand. 1. Poor customer service. I received my trailer 11/01/2021. There is a sheet of paper attached to the trailer telling you to inspect it before unpacking. Once you unpack it, you own it. Well, all you can inspect for is obvious external damage. My trailer had manufacturing defect that was hidden by the packaging and I did not discover the defect until I took the trailer out for a test ride. On my trailer, the tongue portion that sits on the hitch ball had weld splatter on a surface that needs to be smooth. After a half mile test ride, my hitch ball was badly gouged and was transferring chrome plate from the hitch ball to the weld splatter. Long story short, my trailer was ready to use in March 2022. The process to get Kendon to take ownership for the repair was extremely time consuming. I eventually found the work email and personal email addresses of a couple of the Kendon higher ups. I emailed them and that finally kick started the service person at Kendon to take ownership of fixing the defect and finding someone to repair my defective trailer. 2. Thin diamond plate. The diamond plate material is very thin. The wheel chuck will not hold my sport bike with its 17 inch wheel upright so I have to set my bike on its side stand while I get my first tie down secured. I took off the diamond plate, hammered out the dent, and now know I need to use a chunk of wood under the side stand to prevent future denting. read more

Not great, they have not been forthcoming about their product release times and are just not very communicative as a whole. I'm not sure they care too much if they sell car trailers or not since meh, they get by with motorcycle stuff. If communication and honesty improves, then I think they have a great shot at moving up to a 3 or 4 star rating. They were polite in person, but even in person they couldn't tell me what was going on at their own facility, and their only answers were for me to call back next week for a few weeks, until they gave up giving me time estimates and told me to just call in a few months. I've had the trailer for a couple of weeks and have put on a few hundred miles, overall not bad, but for the price, the follow on service and support has been terrible. I responded to the Kendon service email address with pictures of damage that occurred during shipping, mainly abrasions down to metal through the powdercoat. Great products, and (I have had) a great customer experience with these folks. There have been some supply-chain and service concerns in the past, but they've sorted them out AFAICT, and the recent low rating reviews read like folks are dealing with a wholly different company than the one I'm dealing with -- bizarre. I'm the third owner of an 8yr old dual-bike trailer, and I've put the thing through hell with 1000s of miles, including pretty rough off-road use, and it's rock solid. My main use case is track days, and the trailer takes my 440lb bike and a 200lb tool box securely with very little effort -- no need for an extra pair of hands as with (un)loading from a pick-up. Once a year, I bolt a bicycle rack opposite the wheel chocks, and put 5 mountain bikes (plus the tool box) and head up into the Sierras -- requires a few tie-down straps, and I also tack-welded a couple stand-off so I could drop hitch-pins in to lock down the tool box. Works great for both uses. I find this to be a well-built, versatile product, and I find the company stands behind it. read more

The product is not very good. I am very concern with a lift a purchase. It does not look very safe. I tried to speak to the customer service rep name Jason but he was no help. Actually he did not know the product in question very well. It is terrible to call the manufactures and they do not have a clue about the product they used to produce. Buyer beware, not all the products from this company are made in the USA. After a long search, I was able to get what I needed. Do not waste your time with their customer service department. The trailer came wrapped and protected to the point of extreme care. I was impressed!! One of my bike is a Big Dog which fits on the trailer but produced an aft center of gravity. I had a delay because apparently after I placed the order, they went to assemble my trailer and discovered damage to the axle before they put it on. Oh well, I was disappointed but sh*t happens and I'm glad they caught it and didn't ship me a defective trailer. Once the trailer was ready, FedEx Freight literally delivered it to my house overnight, 460 miles, CA to CA shipment. (I'm told this was unusually fast...). The driver even rolled it all the way down my driveway and into my garage where I was going to assemble it. Putting it together was a piece of cake. So I had to wait 3 weeks, but it was worth it - Kendon makes a great product. I got the single ride up model. Easy to load, it pulls easily and holds my bike firmly in place. I use Ancra tie downs with Ancra soft hook extensions to reduce the chance of scuffing my bike at the attachment points. I'm glad I bought a Kendon and would recommend. read more

This was the worst customer service experience I have had in a long time. I ordered the stand up go trailer and was happy that they said all their products were American made. After waiting two weeks and still nothing, I contacted them and was told that the trailer was stuck in customs. How was it stuck in Customs if it was made in the USA? I needed the trailer asap so he told me I could order the premium trailer for an extra $1200 and it would be shipped that Friday and I would get it the next week, so I did. Needless to say, nothing that week and when I looked up the tracking it wasn't going to be in until the following Monday. I called the freight company and she said it was still in California waiting for a truck heading to South Dakota. I called Kendon back and Ryan said that they don't guarantee shipping so I couldn't get my money back unless I paid the shipping plus an additional 25% restocking fee. I let him know I wasn't happy and we had to completely change our plans for the next week and were only able to move 2 motorcycles instead of 3 and had to make a different trip 260 miles back to get the other one and pick up the trailer that finally came in. after paying for dual ride up folding trailer I was notified that the local freight delivering company needed to charge another $200 to deliver it to my house. it's not free shipping after all I guess, I was told "check the fine print." By Xavier. then I received a call from freight saying they could not deliver it to the house after all even though my hOuse is easily accessed from the interstate. I spoke with Kendon customer service multiple occasions and mark smokinski, James wingate were mostly helpful but said they were going to contact the local freight company and get back with me, but never did. When I called for follow up, spoke again with xavier who was unsympathetic and unprofessional. Notified me of $100 storage fees already being assessed that I was never notified of. then without agreement or notification he cancelled my order and sent my trailer somewhere else. I bought this double trailer in 2008 and have hauled everything from sportbikes to a pair of full dresser Harley Davidson's all over the United States. I have put approximately 60,000 miles on this trailer with no issues other than just recently replacing the casters. I don't ever see it wearing out but if it does and I need to replace it the only choice for me is another Kendon. Great product. Kudos! read more

Worst customer service, I actually got lied to. Spent $3,100 for the single bike trailer, shipped to NY. Unwrapping it, a nut falls off in the driveway. Two hours later, everything is together, using a torque wrench, openend wrenches, etc. Looked beautiful. Took it for a test tow (they recommend 100 miles around town, retorque, etc). It shook like hell. I called them, they said that's normal without a load. Man, it yanked on my Subaru. I put my Honda 750 up on it and towed it down the highway, 30 miles. In that time, it shook so bad that one of the ramps, (which I swear I carefully clamped down, I am meticulous about such things) ripped out of the trailer bed. The ramp flew off the trailer! This made unloading the bike very dangerous. I took the trailer to a specialist, they found the wheels were overinflated and seriously misbalanced at Kendon. This stands out: The spare has a huge 5 ounce weight. That's nuts. I called Kendon several times. I'd spent $78.00, they promised $65 reimbursement. I emailed copies of the receipts. Also promised a new ramp, as the other one is somewhere on the highway. Got the ramp two weeks later, never got the check. I'm afraid to use it, left it standing in the garage for 12 months. BTW, they are hard to resell! I sold it for $1,500 yesterday. It has maybe 100 miles on it. The buyer can afford to fix it at that low price. I think the axel is not straight, but who knows. What would I have done otherwise? Driven 200 miles to an actual reseller, so that I could have taken it right back if it shook. Shipping to California, which was not offered under warranty, is crazy expensive. I'd buy one at Tractor Supply, or, I actually plan to RENT from uHaul the next time I desire to take my new Road King some place far. BTW, it comes incomplete. You still need to buy expensive tie down straps. Don't buy their products. read more

I recently bought a Smart Car trailer from Kendon. The staff was very professional and Ryan even gave me a spare tire at no extra cost. Their service was excellent. However, the trailer cost over $4,000 and it is too heavy for one person to fold or really maneuver alone. I'm disappointed, but OK I won't fold it up. The main problem is that the ramps are really narrow and again if someone is not guiding you it is dangerous and frightening trying to get your car onto the trailer. By the way, the car has to go on backwards. Wow! There are two clips on the bottom that hold the folding rear bead in place, but they don't stay latched. Not that big of a deal though. At that price I expected great quality all around. So I'm having to have the trailer customized. First, relocate the dumb spot they put the spare tire. Next the 2 narrow tracks are heavy and have to be carried from the front to the back are being thrown away. I'm having a one piece ramp customized so I don't have to worry about falling off the tracks as I carefully climb up in the car in reverse. Also, the ramp will be spring loaded and can be left in place vs carrying heave ramps from the front to the rear and back and forth. Maybe for a man or a couple this would be a perfect trailer, but for an older woman not so much. I'm not sure yet how much this will cost me, but I have not choice but to invest in the trailer since I already have thousands of dollars invested in this trailer. I bought a double ride up trailer about two years ago. I'm very satisfied with it, and received good service from Kendon.

I have had a double stand up trailer for several years and it has miles on it carrying both street bikes (BMW's) when they had to be moved and various dirt bikes. It's been great. I needed parts recently because I drove off with the wheel jack down (not a great idea and the manual tells you not to) and I had the parts the next morning. Great customer service. read more
